Emergency Pill Part III

The Hunter slowly walked into the room. His hands were at his sides, close enough to his service pistols to enable the quickest draw. The building was an office building, clearly occupied. He had cleared the three ground floors and was entering a basement floor. Twenty five demons had been removed. Twenty two rounds had been fired. Griffin was a legend. He never missed. He never used suppression rounds in his service pistol. Griffin had reached the level where he was not given the high powered tranquilizers, or the DKR's for the automatic. He only used his two old fashion looking revolver. He fired special rounds that would kill anything. These rounds are supplied only to those hunters that are very good, the highest ranking. Usually a hunter would only receive a few of these rounds since they are harder to make than the usual DKR's and they cost thousands more per round. Griffin and those others that are legends in the field are given a much larger supply, and are able to get as many as they need. Every round someone of his caliber fires is likely to remove at least one demon.
Griffin was five foot four inches. He looked Asian in descent, possibly Japanese. He was dressed in his usual blue jeans and a white t-shirt proudly proclaiming I heart New York, with a picture of the statue of liberty on it. Over his shirt he had his shoulder harness with the holsters for his two guns and his light. His harness also had a medium sized metal case with twenty eight of his killing rounds, and a silver kbar. His head was completely denuded of hair including his eyebrows. He will tell a story of a fire as the only proclaimed reason for the deformity. At the age of fifty, it would be thought that his joints would be stiffening, and his reflexes slowing, however, Griffin was always in perfect shape and mind set. He was trained, and he was always ready. His body still was not feeling its age, and that is what had kept him alive as a legend.
The first floor of the basement was dark and moldy, the perfect place for monsters to be living. The lights were off. Griffin flipped on his flashlight for the ultraviolet light it produced. It also would deter any weak vampires he happened to face. The light was attached to the left side of his harness, shining light wherever it was facing. Griffin surveyed they area, checking for moving things in the shadows. He took a few steps inside a large room filled with cubicles. The room was partially partitioned with orange cubicle walls which looked very strange in his blue light. The walls were moldy and showed the neglect. This office generally looked this way, a lot of materials were still left, desks, chairs and the like, it was as if the business had just packed up the personal stuff and left. The entire building had been like this, not old or decrepit, just unused. He felt something moving in the room. His instincts never lied.
Griffin suddenly burst into movement, jumping sideways, and landing on the desk of a cubicle. With his movement he also pulled out one of his guns and aimed it at where he was standing. A three horned demon was suddenly in the place he had just occupied. His gun fired once, and the demon hit the ground, green blood oozing from a hole in its head. He pulled his second gun, and fired two more shots into the shadows, hearing the sounds of two more bodies hitting the floor. Griffin jumped back to the floor, and started to walk to the end of the room, he felt something charging from behind. He spun, and fired, finishing the spin and kept walking. The demon fell to the floor with the rest of its head. Five demons became illuminated in his sight. They all were charging from a different direction, two from above on the left and right sides, two from before and behind him, and another one dropping directly on his head. Griffin sailed backwards with a powerful leap, flying over the head of the demon behind him. As he landed he fired at the one now in front of him. Due to space only two of the demons could now come at him at a time, conveniently he had two guns. He fired two rounds at the ones charging in front of him, adjusting his aim to catch one that had jumped over the cubicles at him. He fired another round at the two that were behind the first two, listening to each one fall in the darkness, every round he had fired had found its mark.
Griffin replaced his left revolver, and started reloading the gun he held in his right hand, it only had one round left. He opened the lid to his reload box, and swung open the cylinder of the revolver. He carefully started replacing the rounds. He barely saw the movement before it was on him as a demon came out seemingly from no where. He snapped the cylinder closed and fired a round at the demon. It moved faster than he did, his shot missing. His second didn't miss as he regained control. The demon crashed to the ground. He reopened the cylinder and put in the missing two rounds from the refill. He then pulled out his other gun, it only needed four rounds. Quickly reloading that one, he kept his ears open for the sound of something coming. "Strange," Griffin thought to himself, "these demons are faster than usual."
The next wave of monsters all had wings. They flew above him, and dove down, attempting to catch him, or claw him. A few tried to break him in half with their wings. He was able to eliminate all six of them without many problems. He did however miss two shots. With six rounds left between his two revolvers, the Hunter took the lull to reload. He had just opened the cylinder when he felt the ground shake. The room began to rattle and he heard a crashing sound coming toward him. He quickly readied his guns and turned to face the noise. The cubicle in front of him blew apart as a rhinoceros looking demon charged through it. Griffin jumped sideways, his guns throwing two slugs directly into the demons face.
The monster staggered and stumbled to the ground. Griffin stepped closer to it, trying to find out what it was. His light illuminated its shape, that of a large four-legged monster. It had five horns on its head, and its eyes were small and beady. If not for the thick scales on its body and the heavy plate on its head he might have called it a mutant rhinoceros. However, this monster seemed very similar to a kind of dinosaur known as a triceratops. The horns were numbered wrongly, but the monster seemed the same otherwise. The demon lurched forward, mouth opening to show a huge set of fang like teeth as it attempted to bite the Hunter in half. Two more gunshots entered the air, and another two killing rounds entered the monsters brain. It fell to the ground finally dead.
"You killed my pet." A voice floated through the room. "That is unfortunate... for you." Griffin felt himself flying backwards though he wasn't hit by anything. He slammed against a cubicle and knocked it down still carried backward into another one. He staggered up and tried to see what had hit him. He was knocked around three times by something he couldn't see. Barely able to stand at this point, though still holding on to his guns, Griffin came face to face with his attacker. The vampire simply appeared in front of Griffin. It was about six feet tall, and clearly European in decent. It was wearing a blood red dress shirt, and a long black coat that disappeared into the supernatural shadows clinging to its legs. It looked down on him and sneered, mouth opening with dripping saliva. Griffin fired the last shot in the revolver in his right at the vampire. He watched in slow motion as the bullet left the chamber, and traveled three inches forward. He stared in amazement as it stopped moving. He fired the last round from his other gun. The bullet did the same thing and the vampire's smile became bigger.
"Don't you have something better than that? Aren't the Hunters the bane of my kin's existence? You have been hunting us for a thousand years and you still can't kill me. It is such a shame that warriors like your tribe once was, have fallen so. But then again, you warriors never were a match for us." The vampire slashed his hand across Griffin's chest fingernails sliding inside. His hand coming back to his mouth so he could lick a few drops off of it. He watched as Griffin's body slowly separated and fell into two pieces, cut by the shock wave of the blow, not its deepness.
"Come out, come out wherever you are. My children are hungry. I am hungry. We will not be controlled by you any longer. Warriors, the war is finally here. Hunters, you are now prey."
"Falcon this is Base, report back immediately. There is an emergency."
The morning had been very interesting for Falcon. He awoke and jerked out of a bed that wasn't his. He found himself beside the person he went to bed with, which might be usual for most people, but almost unheard of for him in the morning. He even remembered the name of the girl he went to bed with the night before, Megan. When he woke up his head was pounding with an ache, the kind of which he hadn't felt in a long time. He was dizzy and tired, pretty much, he was miserable.
The lines of the net were much less obtrusive. However, the voices were pounding inside his skull. He opened his eyes and looked up, "It looks like he is awake." He saw Megan lying beside him. His head was rested on her chest, and she was stroking his hair. "I hope you are feeling better."
"Yeah, thanks. But my head is pounding."
"What was that? I didn't say anything." Megan's lips only moved through half of her comment. Without speaking she continued, "I hope he isn't insane. That would be just perfect though. I sleep with a random guy I met at work whom happens to be crazy. Why did I sleep with you in the first place?"
"You said that you hoped I was feeling better didn't you? Oh... and I am sorry if you are regretting the time we spent together last night."
"What are you talking about? I didn't say anything." inside, "Freak."
"Now that hurts. If you are insistent of having such an attitude can you wait for me to leave, or at least get some pain killers?" Falcon was starting to realize something was wrong. He wasn't usually dense, though it did feel like someone was taking a jackhammer to his skull. He sat up and turned around, staring at Megan. He just stared silently for a minute. Megan opened her mouth to speak and he placed a finger on her lips to silence her. He wanted to sit in silence until he heard it. He didn't have to wait long, after fifteen seconds of silence, "What is he doing? Why is he so silent? You sure know how to pick them."
"Hahhahhaha... This explains so much. Don't worry, I am not crazy. I am also not going to hurt you. I just kind of woke up on the wrong bed."
Falcon ignored Megan's inside voice, her thoughts were private. He didn't care about her privacy, but he didn't want to get confused by what she was not actually saying. "So... I can read her thoughts now, this is just perfect. How could this get any worse?" Seeming as if someone was reading his mind, Falcon's phone began to chime. He got out of bed and walked over to his pants, pulling his phone out. He had a text message, 'Work 911.'
"Sorry I have to get this. I'll be right back."
Falcon went out side and called in. "Base this is Falcon, what's the situation?"
"Falcon this is base, report back immediately. There is an emergency."
"Megan," Falcon called as he walked back inside, "I need to go to work, there is an emergency. Sorry... I want you to know that I really enjoyed last night. You were great." Then much to his surprise, "Can I get your number? I would love to see you again soon."
"Sure Brandon, my number is 453-2691. I would really like to see you again too."
Falcon hurriedly gathered his things, as he was dressing, Megan started to ask him some questions, making small talk. One of her questions really hit him hard, "So what do you do?" It wasn't that he was unprepared for this one, he usually that he was an independent contractor who did a lot of work internationally. However, he felt strange lying to this woman. It even struck a nerve when she called him Brandon, that isn't his name. "I work in sanitation."
"Sanitation?... You've got'ta be kidding me."
"Hey, shit is no joke."
"So... what do you do in the field of sanitation?"
"Pretty much I go around and remove the unwanted and unacceptable before they bubble onto the streets."
"I hope to see you soon," Megan had decided that she had spent enough time with this psycho, come on he works in sanitation. He spends all day with shit. It's a crappy job, pardon the pun. Megan walked over to the door to let the freshly dressed Falcon out, as the door opened, a blurred shape flew in. It was opaque, but quickly solidified. Right behind it, four more came in. Falcon kicked the door closed, and with the back spin, he pulled Megan to the ground and stepped in front. He reached for where his holster should have been, remembering that for some stupid reason he had left it at home.
"Stay with me Megan, and keep your head down." Falcon searched around for a weapon, this was not something he wanted to do without. They were in the living room, kitchen, dinning room, entry way of the apartment. As with any kitchen, there were knives. Unfortunately, there were five quickly solidifying things hovering in front of the counter where the knives would be.
"Megan, do you have any guns or knives not in the kitchen?"
As he spoke, the five figures finished forming. They were all horned demons, about five feet high, green skin. They wore armor made of scales, and had vicious claws extending from their fingers. They all charged at the same time, seeming like a headlong rush to catch the lone Hunter. Falcon stepped forward, getting Megan out of the way, he crouched down caught the first in his hands, one on its neck, the other its stomach. He drove both hands up, sending it flying backwards. Using the momentum of the push to spin, he kicked the next in the head, his combat style boots breaking off a horn. Then, three were on him. He punched and kicked. They bit and scratched.
Falcon entered combat mode, as he called it. His mind went somewhere else to think as the rest of him fought. "I need a weapon he thought to him self."
"What do you need?" a voice that was not his own reverberated within his head.
"Who was that?'
"Does it matter, you are about to die. Take this and live."
My wife Ava is a very beautiful, sexy, attractive woman with long straight black hair, thin golden-brown tone body, and fantastic legs. She is a tall Asian woman. She always gets looks when we are around town from guys checking her out. I have always wanted her to be an exhibitionist or flasher but it is not her thing. Sometimes, she will do a little bit of that for me in public but not very much and not very often.I recently accompanied my wife to the emergency room at our closest hospital for...
VoyeurIt was going to be an easy day today, only two sectors, ‘Red-eye’ from Sydney to Adelaide and the last flight of the day back home to Sydney. This was one of the few times that the aircrew and cabin crew flew the same sectors more than once in a day. We had arrived this morning for one day, and were scheduled out on the last flight to leave before the curfew came into force. Julie Paterson, the Cabin Service Manager (CSM) was newly promoted and a little unsure of herself but had handled the...
I work at a convenience store. One night a couple of years ago, it got brutally cold. About -30˚ with the wind chill. My shift ended at 8:00 pm. I rushed out to my car to warm it up, but my heart dropped when the damn thing wouldn't start! It wouldn't even turn over.My roommate, Annette, was out of the state, my parents and my brother live over twenty miles away, and no one at the store could take me home until the store closed. I thought I might have to be there until midnight. You know the...
Straight SexEmergency Room by Debbie Cybill Thanks to my wonderful wife Jeannine, I spend most of my life en femme, except when I am at work, when I have to wear pants. Jeannine is all that any cross-dresser like me could want in a wife. Apart from all her other qualities, which any man would want in a wife, Jeannine is not just supportive of my xdressing, but positively encourages it, even enthuses over it. I am simply not allowed to dress as a man around Jeannine, not that I would...
Monica’s Medical Emergency - Jason Fleming?Do you have regular anal sex, Monica?? he said, handing her the glass of still swirling pale yellow liquid.?Why would you want to know that, Dr Fleming?? she said, her cheeks reddening with embarrassment, downing the drink in one gulp.?Vigorous, frequent anal sex can lead to a loosening of the cavity and objects can be absorbed deeper into the body. That mild sedative will kick in in a few minutes, Monica. ? He didn’t tell her about the carefully...
STATE OF EMERGENCY Part OneThe Student By King Diocletian 1) Arrested Rebecca stared at the stains on the wall above the door. How long had she been here? Two hours, three? She had no idea. There was no window and the only light came from a flickering bulb set behind thick mesh in the ceiling. Her head ached and her stomach was knotted with apprehension. It was chilly and she rubbed her bare arms trying to encourage some warmth. Part of her wished they would come so they could get it over...

'... Press this button. That is what it says, yes?' Leah glanced up from her sitting position on the lift floor, pausing as if the question might not have been for her, before finally nodding. The man stopped pacing (such as it was, the lift floorspace being only two by two metres). 'But it's not doing anything!' Leah pulled a tattered handkerchief from her pocket and mopped her brow. 'Yes it is. It's sending a signal to the engineer's office on the ground floor, to reset the duty...
What is a family? How do we become so attached to those that we grow with? Those that know us the best are the most capable of hurting us. Why do we always give them the power to do so? To claim someone as part of your family is to accept them into your life, into your heart. Those inside you are able to cause pain like no one else. This could be because they know you so well. They know which buttons will hurt the most. They know your secrets. They know what causes you pain. Lovers, brothers,...
BLOODLINES 2: POST-VAMPIRE DEPRESSION BY Cassandra Anaconda Morrison Being a vampire is not as easy as you might think. In the first place, one has to pretty much swear-off direct sunlight - which means you can forget about that golden tan which is considered the epitome of sexual desirability. Instead you have to cultivate that alabaster pallor most people associate with dead things. One can compensate for this with body make-up of course but I would advise any fledglings out...
“Mmmhh….look at that little ass,” I said to Diana. “John you have to be joking me, she’s like 14 years old and technically your student,” Diana said as a cute girl with a perfect ass walked away wearing a tight school uniform. “Yeah but we both agree she is really hot,” I said. “Does your wife know what a spoil you are?” Diana asked. “No. you’re not going to tell her, are you Diana?” I asked while laughing. I sat back in my chair with an evil grin on my face. We sat there in silence for...
Diana and I work at a Private school in the city as teachers, to be honest, the job is boring with all the teaching and staff meetings and to keep ourselves entertained we have to keep ourselves with odd conversations. I’m 28 years old, fairly good looking and I have worked with Diana for about a month.“Mmmhh….look at that little ass,” I said to Diana.“John you have to be joking me, she’s like 14 years old and technically your student,” Diana said as a cute girl with a perfect ass walked away...
She looked up at me, took the headphones off then said, “Hi Brett, I needed someplace to go.” “Huh, why, what’s going on?” “He cheated on me, he fucked Marsha.” “Who, your boyfriend cheated on you?” Irene splashed another shot in her glass, tipped it up and sucked it down in one swallow, “Yeah, the bitch lied about me, she said I was screwing Matt, but I’m not, she lied and Justin screwed her for revenge on me.” I grabbed another glass from the liquor cabinet and handed it to my sister,...
“I’m sorry sir but with the unexpected flooding in Dentonville we opened our rooms as emergency accommodations, it is our policy to help in such situations. We let families have the suites.” “Then what the hell about us, am I supposed to shack up with my sister?” “Sir, we have only this one room left and if you don’t take it I doubt you will find another in town tonight. It does have a fold away couch, one of you can sleep on that.” The reservations clerk softened the offer by adding “We...
This is for those people who requested a further chapter in this story. It is also by way of closure. The story so far: I, Captain Mitchell Underwood and CSM Julie Paterson meet on a flight from Sydney to Adelaide. An unscheduled stop-over following an in-flight emergency that forced me to turn back to Adelaide resulted in us spending the night together. On our return to Sydney, we spend our first week-end together with Micha, my 8 year old daughter from my previous marriage. Melissa, my...

And can't get my head around that I'm staring at my shy colleague and ex-student. She slows down, trying to catch her breath and avoiding a first orgasm. She gazes at me and her shyness is back. Can we forget that this is real? Pleease? Betty whispers. It's just that... It's my turn to shut her up. I run my foot over her...

August 14, 1991, Chicago, Illinois “Are you sure it’s OK to go to the race on Sunday?” I asked. “I can give my ticket to someone else.” “I think so long as I’m not in labor on Sunday morning at 3:00am it should be OK. Do you think your cell phone will work in Michigan?” “The coverage along the freeways is getting better, but I wouldn’t bet on it working in Brooklyn, Michigan. I can give the ticket away, Babe.” “I think we should,” Kara said. “Both of ours. Kathy and Kurt will take them, I...
"I hear the ambulance — do I stay on the line?" "Wait until they arrive, I'll want to talk to one of them. Is your father the only one hurt?" "I don't know — I don't know where my brother is? He left when the gun went off." "What's his name?" "Steven Michael McHenry!" "Was he involved in the shooting?" "Our mother took the gun from him and shot my father! Here's the ambulance guy." "Jeff, can't you see it — on their faces. That they just fucked for the first...
When I arrived on the other side I realized why there was someone to latch on to my hand and make sure I kept walking. When I went through the “portal” I was startled by the change of everything around me. The natural reaction was to stop in my tracks. If you stopped the pad wouldn’t activate for the next person. The marine kept me moving. The marine on the other side was very friendly and my women were in a group out of the way. The Marine led my group to the back of the compartment. They...
Under normal circumstances I'm a positive person; despite my emotional misery, I finished school with good marks and was accepted into my chosen course at university: a Bachelor of Science with a major in Pure Mathematics. And I did well; well enough to progress on to my Master's degree in 2008-09. Hermione Granger didn't haunt me beyond high school, although I did have one scare when J.K. Rowling published the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, where Hermione's middle...
It's Sunday morning! The last four days have been a blur, controlling the sexual life of three women. Having sex with them and directing two of them to give their husbands to the third. They’ve written accounts of their encounters. They’ve begun to share their fantasy lives with me through their Fantasy Journals. They have each confirmed submission through specific tasks. It is my decision today will be a day of rest and reflection, on my end. Because they easily worked as a team to give...

Group SexIt was really too easy, I reflected when it was all over. I'd decided what I wanted, and getting it was almost anti-climactic. I say almost, because climaxes definitely weren't in short supply. It all came down to blood magic. When Jowan came to me with a half-assed scheme to learn blood magic from Uldred, I didn't agree to it for power. The fact of the matter was, my harrowing was approaching, and I was terrified. My friend, Neria, had accidentally let slip more information than she...
I am so tired of all the bullshit about vampires. Yes… we do exist, so that’s not a myth, but all the rest… well, the crap people think they know about us is mostly nonsense. Firstly, we do not live thousands of years long. Around two hundred years is as good as it gets for us. Fortunately, we do not age and all mature vampires look like they are in their mid-twenties. This, of course, is a great advantage and sets us apart from boring humans. In addition, unlike humans, Vampires are also...

Blood Lust The winter wind howled fiercely as I made my way back to the town tavern. Pulling my tattered top coat tightly around my neck. Deathly afraid to be late for my meeting with my mysterious benefactor. From the writings of Aarcidmus, high archivist and lord researcher to High Emperor Sedimer'tiskoniar: Milord has been obsessed as of late. His only concern is the weakness that has been spreading. The sickness seemed to come from nowhere, and yet, minor cases of it have been appearing in my research dating back several imperials. The weaker lords have been becoming ill and dying. The weak have vanished. The powers all demon kin has been weakening over time. I have not been able to make a...
I was thinking what a pathetic life... I didn't see the car in front of me until I was nearly on top of it. Dim flashers through the snow caught my eye and I was able to slow enough to avoid hitting it. I wondered, as I slowly passed by if anyone was inside. I could not make out anything but the outline of the car. As I drove past I saw the lights flash faintly in the mirror. There was someone in the car. I slowed and started backing towards it. I'm not in the habit of stopping for...
Paul showed up early the following day to his new job, eager for a new beginning. No longer would he be an alpha, and worse case scenario he could at least pretend to be normal. When the first dogs came in, he began their check ups, trying to hide the fact that he could hear them. He succeeded as far as the police were concerned, the dogs however knew better. Watching his every move they reacted to his every word and intention as if they clearly understood, and indeed they did. In an odd way...
1590 Very few things in the world had the power to frighten Electra. Her master's wrath happened to be one of them. And even that was usually only enough to make her take a step back and bow her head. Right now she shrunk down to the floor, positively cowering. Dracula's shadow aura was practically causing the whole keep to tremble with his rage. "Dost thou dare presume to insult my intelligence, Electra?" "No milord," Electra responded weakly. "I spoke only truth to you." "Then...
Her hair is like blood, her eyes violet jewels And she governs the fates of all whom she rules. Her voice is of silk, but her words are of steel. Look in her eyes, and your fears become real. A blossom of blood, with thorns that can kill, She will bend all your dreams to the ways of her will. Her beauty is pure as the clear driving rain, But to enter her world will bring only pain. The blade that she holds you cannot defy. Kill her you might, but she will not die. There is but one...
BLOODLINES 3: BATS ALL IN LEATHER I was growing extremely disillusioned with the LAPD. Here I had been hiding in my (recently deceased) Uncle Gregory's decaying Hollywood mansion for almost three weeks and STILL they had not discovered the body of Rick Herzog. I mean... what in the Nine Billion Hells of Nyarlathotep are we paying taxes for? I was almost tempted to grab the first cop I saw and drag him over to Rick's apartment. Saner council prevailed, however. And I soon realized...

215 Wendy and Andrew reworked This story has been reworked due to hubby sending me his version of his involvement! They were living in Norfolk it was a nice house, not new but very well appointed, it had a long and secluded garden at its rear fenced to 6ft on all sides. A neighbouring house was the only other home in range so the pretty 38year-old Wendy always sunbathed nude. Her husband Andrew and she being the only ones around except as I said the one next-door neighbour, she tended to throw...
What is the nature of demons? Are they the demons case down by god, the spawn of Satan, as humans tend to believe? Do they come from a different world? What are they? Demons come from all over the worlds. They are dimension travelers, but most specifically, they are beings that feed off of life. They are parasites. There are few that know the true origin of demons, most of them being the first demons. Some of them are still alive. Stories claim that the demons came originally from a harsh...
My name is Jackson Shaw; at least that is what I call myself now. I have gone by many names over the ages. I am a vampire. I was turned the year the great pyramid was completed. Yes, I am over 2000 years old, ancient even by vampire standards. I have lived in the shadows for most of recorded human history. I say human history because it has been a long time since the title human could be associated with me. Time teaches all to he who has the luxury of eternity. And what the ages have taught me...
SupernaturalI made my way from the inn to the market east of there, where Clive had said they had been ambushed. When I arrived, there was a bustle of activity, normal for a market of this size, as well as a grouping of soldiers on the far side. I suspected that was where the attack had transpired. I weaved my way through the crowd until I arrived at the other side, where three soldiers were investigating the area. “Good afternoon gentlemen, what exactly happened here? Do you have any idea who did...
Six years ago... It was almost midnight. Brad and Ritchie had already retreated to their tents; Anthony was alone. Aside from the chirping of crickets and the crackle of his campfire, it was quiet. The pale light of the moon danced eerily on the ripples of the lake. He sat calmly in front of the fire, gazing out around the darkness of the woods. She was out there. He was certain he'd seen her once already. Last night when they got back from their hike he was certain for a split second...

Chapter Three: The Angel of Death I had no fear for my life, if he had wanted to kill me he would have already. I realized that the warm feeling I had been getting was him feeding on me, but I was confident in my assessment that he wouldn’t make me his next victim. He wanted me to panic, to flee and leave him, but I couldn’t. instead I leaned forward and embraced him. He became very shocked at my reaction. ‘Who made you the way you are?’ I asked. ‘I have never told this story before,’ he...
Blood Sword by Eddie Glover Brenlan felt the familiar twinge in his body. He reached for the sword he'd brought back from the east, the sword to which he was cursed. "That's a hell of a sword!", the bartender whistled in admiration. Brenalan turned with a frown, "You have no idea of it's strangeness or powers my friend.". He could now feel the sword's pull and the beginnings of his own change. "Help!", a woman screamed from outside. "Damn! It's about time I was...
Blood Sword 2 by Eddie Glover Brenlan watched from the shadows as the men he'd been tracking approached a lone woman. He'd long suspected that these men were mercenaries, just the kind of scum he'd been looking for. The sword began to vibrate in his hand, letting him know that it would soon be needing the blood he so often gave it. Should he fail to appease the blade he would become a buxom woman of whorish looks. "I have no quarrel with you.", the woman said as the mercs...
“If you do not mind, Davik,” A familiar voice from behind me said, “I would not mind a plate of that delicious smelling food.” I jumped in surprise and turned to see who had just said that. To say I was shocked would have been an understatement. “What in the seven hells is going on, Lillian? You’re a Voguel?! How can you change into a wolf without a blood moon? Why have you been helping me all this time?” She laughed at the rapid succession of my questions and it was only then I realized,...
The rush of wind in the face, watching the people move like ants, being withdrawn from the crowd, above it. Tim experienced all of these things as he leaped tall buildings in a single bound. Sinbad had first led him to a store that was still open at two o'clock in the morning. It was a specialty shop catering to a particular crowd. Suffice to say, Tim walked in wearing the tatters of a pink dress, and left wearing a suit of black leather, with a long black trench coat on over it. Guided by...
"BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG!" Laura Poultney-Davis woke to the sound of loud hammering and rending of timber. "Oh what now! As if that row last night wasn't bad enough I have to be woken up by bloody workmen." She thought back to the argument that had raged the previous evening. She didn't want to marry that peasant from Birchtree Farm. "How can they expect me to even try to seduce such an uncouth slob?" she asked herself. But of course her parents insisted that it would be to her benefit...
The three story-tellers stood at the prow, looking at the faces of the love-struck women, as they heard the story of Garreth and Therese. They couldn’t help but feel they were telling a love story, the way they all sighed and moaned, at all the romance of it. They had made it to the tip of the western coast and came to Neist Point Lighthouse, perched atop a jagged out-cropping of rock, the sheer bluffs surrounding it. The yacht plowed through the breaking waves, making the turn to head north...
My name is Jackson Shaw. I'm a historian, a philosopher, a night club owner, and oh yes, a vampire. I live in Ohio, and for the most part I have a neat, quiet existence. I wake up every morning at 6, hop out of bed, have a shower, get dressed, and then head over to my favorite coffee shop for my morning tea. This has been my morning ritual ever since I arrived here about a year ago. Now I know to most, this is not what you were expecting the life of vampire to be. I know that the imagination...
SupernaturalI have a medical history of high blood pressure. It's not surprising, even though I'm only twenty-eight years old. My parents were both hypertensive, as were my grandparents. The life-style that I live doesn't help much either. On my days off I drink beer and smoke marijuana, both to excess. I smoke cigarettes and drink coffee every day. I don't get much exercise either. My doctor has given me some pills to keep it down and for the most part they work pretty well; except for in one...
Iain saw his men following MacRae towards the shore and broke from cover. Screaming as loud as he could and waving his arms, he hoped his brother, or one of the others would hear or see him. Grayson joined him, both waving their arms and yelling the MacLean motto and then more voices joined in. Stuart MacLean was riding with his clansmen in the last half of the charge, when his arm was pulled by one of his men and told to turn and look at the two men on the battlefield. Iain was instantly...
The Justice rocked against the anchor chains, as its guns roared, its shots peppering the thick stone walls. Chunks of stone sprayed off the walls, leaving foot deep impressions behind. From the south, MacRae watched as the cannon took shot after shot, until it found the gate. The wood shattered and splintered open with the impact, leaving the castle open to attack. From across Duich, the thirty two pound cannon barraged the west wall, demolishing the new cannon battlement and any means of...
The day was growing old, and the sun was starting to set. Who could of known that something so simple and so regular, like the sun setting could have drastic and horrific consequences. As the great ball of fire abandoned the lit sky, the world around it collapsed leading for it to change dramatically. Darkness spread across, leaving no gap unfilled, nothing could escape its cold grasp. As the light left, it seemed like other things vacated the world. Hope and happiness seemed to turn...
(((Just combining chapters to reduce length of my POST lost.)))BLOOD DIAMONDSChapter 1The Present... A Trash Dumpster, New York City"Rambo to Sugar Tits. Rambo calling Sugar Tits. You awake Sugar Tits? This is your wake up call.""Yeah, I'm awake Rambo," I groaned. Rambo's irritating, nasal whine wasn't something I wanted to wake up to. Ever! "And, stop calling me Sugar Tits."The earpiece/microphone was coming lose from my ear and I seated it firmly back into place as Rambo continued. "Hey, you...
Alicia hated her job. Sam's Tavern was ostensibly a biker bar, but its true clientele was a horrid mix of wannabes and parolees. The parking lot contained far more beat-up Honda Civics and rusty Ford Escorts than it did Harleys. As she wiped up yet another spilled beer on the bar, the perpetrator of the mess gave her a sharp slap on the ass, laughing uproariously at his own daring. She sighed but otherwise ignored his actions; she knew from experience that showing a reaction would just make...
