After all my classes were over on my first day of classes I had to visit the bathroom on my way back to my dorm. I had been holding it in for a while so I could make it to my own restroom. I was pushing the door open when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
I quickly turned around and saw Steven, “I know some freshmen like making a name for themselves in the first few days of classes but I don’t think going into the girl’s bathroom facilities would be a good way to make a name.” He pointed down the hall, “The guy’s bathroom is that way.”
At first, I was shocked, “What are you talking about?” I turned back towards the door then I was worried. When I saw the sign that stated that this was the girl’s room. He smiled, “Here is a tip. Next time wait until after you’re in the restroom to take them out. It seems like you’re nearly as blind as me without contacts. Here let’s go to the bathroom together. I was headed to the showers anyway.”
I had a brief image in my mind of Steven taking off his shirt to start getting ready for a shower. I was even picturing him starting to remove his pants. His butt cheeks just came into view when I snapped back into reality. It registered then that he said let’s go together. It made me think of how there are all those stories of girls and women going to the restroom together. Even though I’ve never had that happen in my life it made me chuckle a little, thinking of him in a situation that’s normally associated with my true gender.
“Sure, I guess we could. Lead the way man,” I said.
The closer we got to our destination the more embarrassed I was for having pictured him stripping. Before I knew it I was seeing him strip again. At first, I thought I was imagining it but then I soon realized it was actually happening.
Steven turned around and said, “You look like you’ve seen a ghost. That or you’ve never seen another guy strip before.”
“I, I, I uh, just wasn’t expecting you to strip in front of me like that. We are in public.” I said trying to look at his abs.
Oh God, what wonderful abs. I tried to imagine what I’d be seeing if I had either my contacts in or my glasses on. I was thankful Carter let me know how to turn off the part in this suit that caused erections.
Steven chuckled, “This is the guy’s bathroom. It’s not like we’re going to shower with our clothes on.” I must have had a hurt look or something because his smile faded quickly and he looked worried when he said, “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to laugh. That was rude.”
I shrugged, “That’s okay. I’m just overwhelmed with how school life is. It’s a lot different than I had imagined it to be. You’d think I’d be used to things like people laughing at me. I was bullied by one kid in school.”
“Geeze get a room you two,” Shouted a boy from one of the showers.
“That reminds me my sister asked if I ran into you if I could pass this on,” Steven said as he held a finger to his lips and pulled me over to the shower the voice came from.
A few seconds later a head slid through the shower curtain.
“Shoot,” said the boy.
“Thought you’d catch a show?” Steven asked.
“No. I thought you left. I, I like to sing in the shower,” the boy said with obvious embarrassment.
It was then that the shower’s curtain gave way and a skinny little kid fell to the floor. I have no idea how a kid that was as skinny as this one could cause the curtain to break down like this. Before I could look away, I noticed that he was wearing pink shorts with some cute anime guy on them.
I quietly asked Steven, “Is it normal for guys to wear shorts like that in the college showers?”
“What was that?” asked the kid.
Steven held out a hand for the kid and said, “He noticed your shorts snagged on something and wondered if you both were okay.”
The kid looked down and checked out his shorts. He sighed in relief, “Thank goodness. Nothing my Mom can’t fix.” He looked at me, “I’m fine. Thanks for the concern.”
He seemed really happy that someone was concerned about him and his shorts. It made me feel guilty.
“That’s not what I actually said. I’m sorry,” I told him.
He nodded once, “Yeah. I know. But you didn’t go out of your way to humiliate me. Even after what I shouted earlier.”
He didn’t say anything else, he just gathered his stuff and went to get dressed.
Steven turned off the shower and said, “I think he appreciated your honesty. He sure didn’t like my lie though. Did you see that scowl he gave me as he left?”
As I walked towards the toilet I looked back and saw Steven naked just before he stepped into a shower. I was in awe of his body.
