Four years after Princess Elaheh's arrival in Kobekistan, the Emir was genuinely sorry to hear that the Earl of Bargoed, his long time friend, had died at the ripe old age of seventy-nine. Their relationship had been very close, closer than would have been legal in the west; the Earl was the father and grandfather of two of the Emir's wives, Princess Ayda and her daughter, Princess Alima. The Earl had also become the third husband of the Emir's English mother, Amelia, Princess Zubeydeh.

Naturally, the Emir gave orders for all possible help to be rendered by the London Embassy, and he flew to London for the funeral, taking the two Princesses with him. Although Alima's daughter, Jhenna knew and liked her great-grandfather, it was decided that a funeral was not an appropriate place for a nine year old child. A brief visit to the Embassy by a delivery van saw Ayda and Alima dressed in extremely smart, black mourning clothes. The Emir was somewhat amused that Alima, in particular, had considerable difficulty with the western clothes which were necessary for this solemn occasion.

"Well," she said, exasperated by the Emir's amusement as she struggled with unfamiliar garments, "I haven't worn a brassière or knickers for twenty years. I've forgotten how to do it!"

"Leave them off," was the unhelpful suggestion from her husband.

The funeral service itself was a very ornate affair in Westminster Abbey, although the Earl would be laid to rest later in the day, at his express wish, in the churchyard of St. Helen's in Sandiacre, a beautiful spot which looked out across the river Erewash to Stapleford Grange. The two Princesses were in the front pew with the widow and Ayda's elder sister Valerie, the new Countess of Bargoed. Immediately opposite in the other front pew sat King George VII, much to their surprise. The Emir was about a third of the way back, in what he considered an unobtrusive position. After all he was here mainly to support his mother and his wives, not as the Emir of Kobekistan. As the congregation were leaving the Abbey, the King stopped beside the pew in which the Emir stood and beckoned him over. The Emir bowed.

"I understand that this is a personal and unofficial visit, so I won't delay you, sir," the King said, "I just wished to offer my personal condolences. I understand you knew him well?"

"Yes, Your Majesty, our families were related by marriage," said the Emir, wondering how to explain if there were any further questions.

"You must come on a State Visit one day, and bring your wives to tea at the Palace."

"Thank you, your Majesty. We would like that," replied the Emir and the King left, followed in strict order of protocol by the Dowager Countess as the grieving widow, the other family mourners, and then the rest of the congregation.

In the helicopter going up to Stapleford for the interment Zubeydeh asked her son, "What did the King say to you?"

"Oh, nothing. Formal condolences and an invitation to make a State Visit."

"When you went to Oxford and knew almost nothing of Kobekistan, I don't suppose you expected ever to speak on equal terms with a King of England," she replied, "Nor did I ever expect to meet the late Queen Elizabeth II, but my husband was something of a favourite of hers and we visited her several times. I had never met the King before today, not even when he was only a Prince. Will you make a State Visit?"

"I doubt it, there is no reason for one," the Emir replied.

Zubeydeh looked at him for a moment, and then said with a twinkle in her eye, "You should. I'm sure Ayda and Alima would like to have tea at Buckingham Palace, and I would give my eye teeth to be a fly on the wall when the flunkeys are trying to work out the correct protocol to cope with a Royal visitor accompanied by two wives!"

Sisters Funeral

The long miles evaporated into scenes in my rear view mirror. Ahead, more miles appeared. I knew where I was headed having made the trip many times, however, this time the trip was to see my only sibling for what was the last time. My premonition was correct. She had a catastrophic relapse shortly afterward and died quickly. Cancer is the great killer that took her, and our parents. I remained the last member of my nuclear family and cancer free. What were the markers that separated me from...

My Second ChanceChapter 44 Book 1 Funeral

During the morning break, at school, Monday morning, I get paged to the office. I can tell something is up by the way the secretaries are looking at me. One of the counsellors takes me to his office and informs me that Gran is dead. I phone Zlata and tell her to take the day off to be with Sam and Grandpa. I am a bit of a dick; in that, I refuse to go home and stay in school for the day. I know how emotional my family gets and do not want to deal with it while I am dealing with the loss of...

She Only Wore a Shirt to the Funeral

Foreword A note on this story: Everything up until you see the line "My prayers weren't answered" actually happened, and yes she was pretty much dressed like the girl on the cover. Once I left the reception, I couldn't wait to get home and write a story about what could've happened. Chapter 1: The Funeral Today, I just got back from attending my ex-girlfriend Lois's father's funeral. He had lived a full life, and as a Catholic he'd had a large family. Most of the women in his...

The Grim ReaperChapter 51 A Funeral

December 24, 2007 - December 28, 2007 I was at the station at 0800 Monday morning as usual. It might have been Christmas Eve, but I was a regular working stiff, and didn’t have any vacation time built up. I was practically the only person in Services. Almost immediately after I arrived, I was summoned to Lieutenant Brownell’s office. It didn’t seem as if Jerry Wolinski had told anybody I was too screwed up to become a cop, but somebody must have told Brownell that I had gotten into it with...

Girlish

Girlish By Karen Singer Steve is a college freshman who just wanted a normal life. His new roommate however had other ideas for him. She decided to make him as absolutely girlish as she possibly could. Written in 2005, this was the third story I ever finished and by far my most controversial. It's also one of my personal favorites. Like my other early stories, I'm presenting it here in its entirety so you can enjoy all of it. I marked a couple of sections in this story for...

The Funeral

I guess this story is about my second time to have sex. My high school girlfriend was my first. We had dated for over a year before I finally got to actually have sex. Then it was awkward to say the least. We did not have a rubber, I had to pull out, we really did not know what we were doing. We had done it five times and none of those times went real smooth or were real enjoyable. Then one of my girlfriends relatives died. Not like anyone she knew real well. But she had to go to the funeral...

After The Funeral

My Grandma chose the most inopportune time to die. I was engaged in the lengthy process of lining up a new job that actually granted paid funeral leave, but I was still a few weeks away from giving my notice at my old position. As opposed to the numerous times she'd "died" earlier in my life, come the one true time there wasn't anything exciting I wanted to do with the time off. I was hoping that no one in Personnel was clever enough to say Hey, wait a minute, didn't your Grandmother die a...

My InheritanceChapter 6 Two Road Trips and A Funeral

Uncle Bert’s funeral was that day. We all attended, of course, as did his huge family and many others I had never met. Uncle Bert was well loved. I was surprised how many women were there without a male escort. A lot had wedding rings. I know it was a sad occasion being a funeral and all, but, I know Uncle Bert. He would have gotten a kick out of my erection from thinking about his funeral goers. My family all liked Mary and Andy. My parents were surprised when I told them Andy was my...

Traveling With Bryan Ch 5 We Head Home From The Funeral

Bryan and I made it to Albuquerque two days before my dad passed away peacefully. We remained for the funeral and the family gatherings that followed. Those days remain a blur in my memory. Clearly, between my father's passing, the funeral and the family interactions, there were no opportunities for Bryan and me to be intimate; not that I wanted to be intimate under these circumstances. The slight respite gave me some time to search my soul about the events of the past week without a...

The Funeral

She stood outside the funeral home and told herself this was a mistake. She had been having this dialogue with herself since the day she saw the obituary in the paper. It was not like she read those on a regular basis. In fact, she avoided this section of the paper like the plague because she found it morbid and creepy, but she was reading an article that had “continued on page” with her morning coffee and she turned to the wrong page by accident. One Shoe GumshoeChapter 26 Two Funerals

WE attended two funeral services together, Mary and I, one low key in terms of attendance but deeply emotional, on one morning and followed that by another higher profile one the following afternoon, that was more for public show than anything else. Mary insisted I attend by her side for both funerals. How could I deny her my full support at them both? To be honest, I wanted to spend every moment of our shrinking allotment of time we had together. Mary wore the same black outfit for both...

Author’s note: My stories so far have focussed mainly on the mechanics of sex romps, so this story is a bit of a break from form for me. There’s a little sex at the end, but mainly it’s me trying to write convincing characters. Any feedback is very welcome, but constructive criticism will earn you a special place in my little heart. In Town for a Funeral

It was hot and I couldn't sleep. When I crawled under the sheet on the couch an hour earlier, I had stripped down to nothing but my boxers. But now I couldn't find a comfortable position. I lay on my back, the sheet pulled down to my waist with one leg bent at the knee protruding from the sheet. I was nearly naked, but I was still uncomfortably warm. It was about the minimum amount of my body I could cover with the sheet and still be decent. Not that being decent mattered all that much. I was...

Forward: I know that a lot of people think that the letters sent in to magazines such as Penthouse Letters are phony and are actually written by the magazine's staff. On that I can't say for sure one way or another. I do know that a lot of the letters sent in are fantasies and I also know for sure that when the magazine receives letters the editors change them for one reason or another. How do I know this? Because it has happened to me. In the fall of 1996 I sent a letter to Penthouse...

RuneswardChapter 43 A Funeral

The following day dawned bright, though not quite as hot. A slight summer squall had hit just before dusk the previous day and had raged throughout the night, but only the slowly burning fog, some puddles and a few mud patches were left to note it’s passing. By mid-morning, when the townspeople came to honor one of their own who’d fallen in service to his neighbors, the fog had lifted and the puddles slowly melted away. A fair breeze blew through the town further dissipating the heat, the...

After that, I left the podium and exited out a side door. There wasn’t going to be any schmoozing in the aisles tonight. Once outside the chamber, I sent somebody in to find the Commandant of the Marine Corps and ask him to see me for a minute or two. I smiled as I considered that. Weddings and funerals are the only time our whole family gets together. It is like a reunion. I mean they come from all over, the extended family from both sides. So this story takes place at a wedding, I can't remember who got married but I remember the important parts. My family arrived several days early as did most everyone. He tried to pull her into bed, thinking his luck had really changed, but she resisted and said, "Not here, come and join both of us. You can fuck me later, if Louise will let you, but I...

Girlish DelightsChapter 3 In The Cold Light Of Day

In the morning, when Louise and Kevin awoke they find themselves alone. They began to caress each other's bodies as if they were together for the first time. Louise, until that night, had never experienced any of the things that the three of them had done together. Kevin was overjoyed at the thought that he was going to marry a woman that would allow him to anything with her, or with anyone else he chose. The thought had made him erect once more. "No," Louise said. Kevin was shocked; it...

Girlish DelightsChapter 4 The Will

After her mother's death, Elinor was much involved with the proving of the will and obtaining probate. This involved going through all her mother's papers, and it was a pleasant surprise to discover quite how much money her mother had saved over the years. What she couldn't understand was the source of the four thousand pounds arriving tax paid in the bank account each month. There was one drawer in her mother's secretaire which was locked, but it was quite small and all the papers seemed...

Girlish DelightsChapter 5 Discovery

Elinor spent quite some time surfing the Internet for details of Kobekistan and found it difficult to get much information. There was no Tourist Information Office. There were, apparently, no Government web sites. She did find some old press references from when the Emir came to the throne which confirmed the Ambassador's story of an Oxford post-graduate mathematician who woke up one morning to discover that he had, by a set of strange coincidences, inherited the throne of Kobekistan. None...

Girlish DelightsChapter 6 Stapleford Grange

A visit to Stapleford Grange was a matter that Elinor considered for some time before she wrote to the Countess of Bargoed explaining that she had recently discovered that the Emir of Kobekistan was her father, and asking the Countess's permission to telephone her. About noon the next day the telephone rang and a woman's voice asked, cautiously, to speak to Miss Bollington. "Speaking," said Elinor. "I have the Countess of Bargoed for you, please hold the line." Some moments later an...

Girlish DelightsChapter 7 The Harem Girl

As they were going along the corridor the slave said, "Mistress, may I speak?" "Of course," Elinor shrugged, "Why not?" "I hope I do not offend you when I say that you reminded me so much of the Countess, and yet so young." "She is my grandmother, I believe," said Elinor. "Princess, my most humble apologies. I did not realise..." Jaida's voice trailed off as she knelt again before the bewildered young woman. "Oh, do stop all this silly kneeling down, and come along,"...

Girlish DelightsChapter 8 Journey

After staying at Stapleford Grange for three days and spending long hours talking to the Countess, Elinor decided to visit Kobekistan. In the Rolls on the way to Heathrow, they collected Jeremy, her solicitor, who was to accompany her on the visit as her advisor. The senior partner, Thomas Parker-Wilkinson, had wanted to take over the handling of the affairs of this illustrious member of a Royal family. However, Jeremy had fought tooth and nail in the office to keep this client as his own,...

Girlish DelightsChapter 9 The Visit

As the aircraft came in to land Elaheh donned a smart trouser suit and refused to wear an abaya. The moment the door opened she was down the steps and into the waiting car. The solicitor followed her and sat beside her. With her first two personal slaves at her feet, as Princess Elaheh, she knew that she had the power to do exactly what she wanted without question. She realised that her life was about to take yet another monumental step forward. This was her first day in this exciting new...

Girlish DelightsChapter 10 Entertainment

"Do you have to stand there?" she asked but there was no response from either of them. The idea had crossed her mind to tease them. She soon dropped the idea, but sitting alone in the dark, she wondered what she was doing here at all. Then a thought crossed her mind if she had this much power she would enjoy some of it. She pulled the bell cord that hung by her bed and almost as soon as she had, the door opened and in walked an Asian woman, her black silky hair silhouetting her rounded...

Girlish DelightsChapter 11 Acknowledgement

It was at a public audience the following day that the Emir made her position crystal clear to his subjects. He asked her to attend in a trouser suit and had her seated next to his throne on the dais. After the Major Domo signalled for all to rise from their obeisance he opened the audience with a statement. "The Princess Elaheh is to be accorded all the rights and privileges of a male Prince of my blood. She is a full Kobekistani citizen and shall be treated as any other Kobekistani...

Girlish DelightsChapter 12 Harem Life

Passing through a door at the far end of the room, they came into a large pleasant area, again roofed with frosted glass in which were gardens with terraces, pools and small gazebos which seemed to Princess Elaheh to tempt one to stroll or to sit and chat. The courtyards were bounded by the fronts of indoor pavilions with decorated eaves, beautiful tile work, and elaborate carved shutters. "Father, why is the roof enclosed? Surely it would be nicer to have this open to the air?" "Oh,...

Girlish DelightsChapter 13 The Emerald Palace

Passing beyond the garden they went down another short corridor and came to a small green door which opened as they approached it. Beyond they were in a large, airy room which seemed to be a smaller replica of the Throne Room of the Golden Palace. "This is your Throne Room," said the Emir, "We are now in the Emerald Palace." "But that doorway leads directly to your harem?" Elaheh was puzzled. "Yes, I had it made especially for you. There are guards on it and only you will be allowed...
