The Sandersons were not the only family living on a secluded estate in the area. Some were long established families going back to the 'missionary' days, and were really plantation farmers. Later, as the talk continued and people had more time to think about what was involved, the Olohanas pointed out that they were delighted to be invited, but they were going to school or had jobs. Everything sounded great, but there were too many different lives being led to think about it in other than future possibilities.
