I spent the next few days hold up in my room, trying to pretend nothing was bothering me. It was then that I noticed Jen's younger brother in the backseat. He was too busy playing on his Gameboy to notice me. I looked over at Jen and mock gagged as I pointed to her brother. She giggled in response.
"I'm so glad we going to the mall. I can't wait to find a new suit," Jen said.
"Me too." I said.
She told me about her trip as she we drove to the mall. Disneyland sounded fun except for the part of having to share a hotel room with her older step-sister and younger brother.
Her mom dropped us at the curb and told us she would be back for us at two. We got out and all but ran into the mall. We spent the next few hours going into different stores and trying on suits. We must have tried on a hundred suits but didn't find any we like. There was a lot we liked hanging up, but went we tried them on, we either didn't like the pattern and or color or the fit. But we had fun.
By one-thirty we were a bit desperate to find a suit. We went into this small clothing store in the corner on the mall. It only had bathing suits and felt like the kind of store that was only there for the season and then was quickly replaced buy something else. The only other person in the store was a college aged girl that was looking quite bored behind the register. She didn't even look up when we walked in.
We started looking and almost right away I found a two piece suit that I fell in love with. It was this pink and black two piece bikini. "Hey Jen look at this one."

After looking around some more we found her a purple two piece suit that a bit less revealing then mine.
"Come on lets go try them on," Jen said.
We headed for the changing rooms and stopped up short when we saw there was only one.
