I knew it would simplify things if it appeared I had never been in the tub with Olive, therefore I pulled my clothes back on to sounds of her disapproving sighs. When I was ready, I went to the bedroom to try to find something for her to wear.

Lisa stood next to the closet door. Her eyes widened with surprise when she saw me, but before she could say anything, I held up a finger over my lips, indicating she should remain silent.

I heard Olive padding her way toward me, as she said, “Does your mom have anything that will fit me?”

I pointed at the closet and Lisa went in it. I followed her, pulled down an old coat, and held it out to her. “If you don’t want her to find you here, use this to hide. Act like a coat rack.”

Lisa nodded, took the coat, and disappeared behind it.

Olive appeared in the closet doorway. She used one towel to wrap up her hair, but the other one was apparently back in the bathroom because the towel on her head was all she had on.

I did my best to ignore her as I tried to find something I didn’t recall mom ever wearing. It wouldn’t matter if it didn’t fit her properly. It was only meant as a temporary fix so she could make it home.

Olive looked around the closet. “I’ve always liked the way your mom dresses.”

I glanced at her, but she caught it and smiled. “You don’t have to dress like a prude,” I said.

She looked at herself. “You call this dressing like a prude?”

I shook my head. “No, I mean how you usually dress, completely covered from the neck down in clothes that are dull in color and designed to reduce your curves.” I turned and looked at her fully. “This is the body God graced you with. There’s no shame in that, but you dress as if there is.”

She blinked in confusion. “Anna says it draws the wrong kind of attention.”

“That’s her opinion, not a fact. You need to learn the difference.”

“I understand that already,” she said. “I don’t need a lesson from you on right and wrong.”

I arched an eyebrow. “I suppose. After all, you’ve already skewed your view.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“Well, there’s what we did in the bathroom and how your currently dressed. I seriously doubt you would have acted this way a few days ago.”

“You know why I came here.”

I nodded. “And has that helped you any?”

She looked me over and sighed. “Not much really. I still want you.”

I nodded and turned back to the clothes.

I found a black dress that looked both heavy enough to help keep Olive warm, and stretchy enough to fit her without being uncomfortable. I pulled it off the hanger and handed it to her.

She held it up, smiled at me, and then turned to go back to the bathroom.

I turned off the closet light, ready to follow Olive, but then I remembered that Lisa was in the closet. I reached back and tugged at the coat. She uncovered her head and looked at me.

I held up my finger to my lips again and nodded out of the closet.

Lisa, however, seemed to have a different idea. She snatched my hand and pulled me to her. Before I fully understood what she wanted, she pressed her lips to mine.

The kiss may have given Lisa a thrill, but it brought on an emotional storm in me. She was the reason others had used to cause me so much pain and torment not so long ago. No, none of that grief had come directly from her, but everything I had suffered had been in her name. It scared me to touch her, much less kiss her. I expected her father to show up with something more dangerous than a switch. I thought I heard the taunts and insulting laughter from Riley, Leo, and Nigel. I could almost feel Sheriff Humphreys breathing down my neck as he clicked handcuffs. The fear was so palpable, so real, that I barely registered falling to the closet floor.

Lisa didn’t apparently understand what was going on. She dropped to her knees, straddling me, and leaned over to continue kissing me.

I knew the Sheriff, her Father, and the bullies weren’t here, but that didn’t curb my fear. I pushed at Lisa, wanting her off me. I had to get away, to run. I had to find somewhere safe, but we were in my house, not hers.

I don’t know what I did, but she sat up enough to look at me. Her expression was curious and she softly asked, “I didn’t hurt you, did I?”

I shook my head, and realized my whole body shook. I wasn’t cold. I was terrified.

She ran her hands over my chest as she sat up. “You’re shaking. Are you cold?”

I shook my head again and fought to calm down. She wasn’t going to hurt me. No one knew anything. I wasn’t in trouble. Yet.

“Are you worried about my dad finding out?” she asked in a matter-of-fact tone. “Because what we do is none of his business.” Then she leaned over me again with a smile. “And I want to do what you did with Ms. Rooney.” Then she kissed me again.

I couldn’t think straight. I was pinned by Lisa yet I knew half a dozen ways to get away, but I was too frozen with fear to do or say anything. Yet, the feel of Lisa’s soft lips nibbling at mine, along with the quick flicks of her tongue as she explored my mouth felt pleasant. My mind couldn’t focus on anything, but my body understood what was happening and responded.

I quickly found my hands on Lisa’s back, slipping up under her sweater. Her skin was silky smooth and as warm as a gently crackling fire. It felt good to touch her, nice, pleasant. More than that, no one was trying to kick the shit out of me.

Lisa sat up enough to pull her sweater off, and then dropped down for more kissing.

I ran my hands all over her back, enjoying the feel of her skin. I found the strap for her bra and knew how to get it out of my way.

After the last hook was released, Lisa sat up and shrugged the straps of her bra off. She then smiled down at me as she peeled off each cup. It was as if her bra had been poured onto her breasts rather than pulled on as most women do.

I was amazed by her size. She was full, soft, and malleable, yet firm and shapely enough to be more than impressive.

She squeezed her magnificent orbs together and gently shook her shoulders, making her breasts wobble enticingly back and forth.

I ran my hands up her sides. She moved her arms so I could cup her untamed mounds. She placed her hands on the back of mine, and guided me up to her nipples. In the dark, it seemed her nipples were the same color as her skin, but I was sure they were a soft pink. Soft didn’t describe their current state, however. Both nubs were hard, hot, and the size of my thumb tips. I squeezed them, gave them slight twists, and tugged on them. Lisa’s breathy gasps were music to my ears, and I tried to play a tune.

“Seth?”

Someone called my name. The voice was familiar, but it wasn’t Lisa’s voice.

With the impact of an eight-pound hammer, I remembered where I was and who sat topless on my hips.

Lisa stroked my arms while I played with her boobs, and her hips gyrated on my crotch. I realized I would really enjoy doing this with her all the way, if I could ever fully get past my fears of what the rest of town would do to me should they find out.

I pulled my hands off her massive, luscious boobs and caught her hands. “Lisa!” I hissed.

She looked at me with a drunken smile. “Mmm, what?”

I tugged at her hands, making her unbelievable boobs shake. “Lisa, Olive is calling me.”

“She had her turn, now it’s mine.”

“Seth?” I heard her getting closer.

I grabbed Lisa’s sweater, put it in her hands, and then rolled us to the side. Lisa ended up under the clothes in the side of the closet and I looked up to find Olive looking down at me. She had the dress on, and because she wasn’t as tall or long-legged as Mom was, the dress fell just past her knees. However, it covered everything legally required, even if it hugged her almost to the point of looking like second skin.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

I shook my head. “I was just thinking.”

“Thinking about what?”

Lisa slipped a hand between us and pulled down my pants zipper.

“Oh, just worried about what Mom and Alyssa are going to say,” I said. “I’ll be out in a minute.”

Olive turned to show me her profile. “It’s so tight. What do you think?”

Lisa’s hand snaked its way into my pants. I couldn’t try to stop her without giving away the fact that she was in there with me. She slipped past my underwear and gripped me at the base.

I lied there, certain Olive wasn’t completely oblivious to what was going on. However, I looked her over and nodded. “It’ll suffice.”

Lisa squeezed me hard enough to make me tense. Was she unhappy with how I answered Olive?”

“You look good!” I squealed. “If I didn’t have company, I might even accompany you home.”

Olive smiled and pointed to the side. “I’ll be in the bathroom, waiting.”

I nodded, she walked away, and I grabbed Lisa’s hand to pry it off me.

Lisa giggled and rolled us over again. “Would you really accompany her home?”

I held her hand in place, hoping she wouldn’t squeeze me again. “I would, but for entirely different reasons.”

Lisa squeezed me again, but not as hard as the first time. “Why?”

I shook my head. “I can’t tell you.”

She leaned over me, dragging her immense mounds up my chest. “Why can’t you tell me?”

“I cannot even tell you that,” I said.

“Can’t or won’t?” she asked.

“Not allowed to,” I said.

She smiled and squeezed me. “I find that highly unlikely.”

I shook my head. “It doesn’t matter. We need to get dressed and get out of here.”

“But I don’t want to,” she said, leaning down further. “I want you, Seth Connors. I want to know what this...” and she squeezed me again “ ... feels like. It’s so big, so thick. I have to know.”

I wrapped my arms around her and rolled us over. She held onto me the whole time. I sat up and she slipped me out of my pants. “Good Lord!” she said, stroking me.

Her hands felt good. I was certain she would feel good if we went all the way, but I wasn’t ready. I had demons I had to concur first. Until then, Lisa would have to wait.

I pulled her hands off me, pinned them to the floor, gave her one more tongue-lashing kiss, and then stood up. I tucked myself back in my pants and stepped past Lisa and out of the closet. I didn’t like it. I would have been happy to finish what we started, but I had to get over my fears first, or it would tear me up inside.

Once I was presentable, I went back to the bathroom. Olive had her shoes on again, and the body stocking draped over her arm. “Your sister took my coat. She said she had a way to dry it.”

I nodded but didn’t say anything.

Olive closed the distance between us. She studied my face and realized something was wrong. “Are you really that worried about what your family will say?”

I swallowed to wet my throat. No, my family hadn’t been on my mind, but I was okay letting her think that. “I’ll deal with it, no matter what happens. We just need to get your coat and get you to your car.”

Olive blinked in thought and looked up again. “Do you think it would help if I apologized to them for what I said about your father?”

I studied her face and realized she was being honest. “It never hurts to apologize.”

Olive nodded, and pulled me down for a deep, wet kiss. The feel of her lips on mine only added to the bulge I made in my pants. The bond made any little touch that much more exciting.

She broke the keys, her breathing heavy, and took my hand. Without a word, she led me to the door leading out of the master suite. I dared a glance into the dark bedroom. I didn’t see anything out of place, nor did I hear anything.

Olive walked out the door and let my hand go. I followed her, hoping I wouldn’t raise too many suspicions thanks to my uncomfortable pants. Mom and Alyssa watched as we exited. Mom’s expression grew tense when she saw the dress Olive wore.

“Seth, what is going on?” she asked, pointing at Olive.

“I will explain,” I said, moving around Olive to block mom from attacking her if necessary. “Where is her coat?”

Alyssa pointed. It was hung up in front of the fireplace to dry, next to the chair. Lisa sat in the chair, looking me over with a secretive smile. I never heard nor saw her leave the suite.

Olive retrieved her coat and felt it. She nodded and pulled it on. With a smile at me, she said, “Toasty-warm!” then she turned to Mom and Alyssa. “I know we haven’t seen eye-to-eye in the past, but I hope that we can improve our relations.” She glanced at me but continued to talk to them. “I know I have sided with Anna on some very thoughtless comments, and for that I apologize.”

I wasn’t sure how to feel about what she said. If she really believed that we would be seeing more of each other, then she also believed that she needed to do this to help make those future encounters less stressful on my family.

Without waiting for any kind of response from Mom or Alyssa, she turned and moved closer to me, apparently ready to leave.

I studied Mom and Alyssa for a second. Both of them seemed a touch confused, mixed with a bit of disbelief. I considered that much of a difference a good thing and led Olive to the front door.

I grabbed dad’s jacket, intent on walking Olive to her car, and pulled open the front door.

“Seth Connors!” growled an angry voice from outside.

I looked and found Mrs. Hartwell climbing the steps. She had a long, heavy coat wrapped around her and snow stuck to her boots. Her face was bent with anger, and apparently, I was the focus of that rage.

Olive stepped between us. “Slow down, sister,” she said with benevolent certitude. “Whatever this young man has done, you need to give him a chance to explain before you fry him.”

So much for good sex dousing her beliefs that I’m some sort of troublemaker.

Mrs. Hartwell glared at Olive. Her eyes flicked up at me for a second, but returned to the woman between us. With some effort, she took a deep breath, held it for a second, and let it out.

Olive nodded to her. She then turned to look at me, once again bundled in her own heavy coat. “I believe I can make it to my car on my own, Seth. You should keep in mind what we talked about, though. Anna strongly believes that you should leave town as soon as possible. You may even hear from her before long.”

I nodded. She hadn’t included herself in her statement. Maybe she changed her mind about whether I should leave or not. Maybe she was only keeping up appearances for Mrs. Hartwell’s sake. I wouldn’t know until I had a chance to ask her, but now wasn’t the time.

Olive nodded at me and then headed out into the cold, toward her car. Mrs. Hartwell, I noticed, had parked on the street rather than in the drive. It allowed Olive to pull out. Unfortunately, Alyssa’s car blocked Lisa’s truck. That would have to be remedied soon.

Mrs. Hartwell spun and glared at me. “Where is my daughter?”

I stepped back and waved her in. “She’s here.”

She stomped snow off her boots, stepped inside, and stopped in front of me. She glared at me from the corner of her eye for a few seconds, and then strode toward the living room.

Mom and Alyssa stood up. Mom held out her hand to greet Mrs. Hartwell, but our new guest bypassed her without so much as a “hello,” and went straight to her daughter.

She grabbed Lisa’s arm and pulled her to her feet. “What are you doing here?”

Lisa pulled away and then looked around at the rest of us. “I came by to talk. What are you doing here?”

“Looking for you,” Mrs. Hartwell said. She threw me another nasty glance and then asked Lisa, “What did he do? Did he hurt you?”

Lisa stepped away from her mother. “He didn’t do anything! I told you, I came here to talk. I don’t need you to protect me.”

Not getting the kind of response she expected from her daughter, Mrs. Hartwell turned on my Mom and sister. “What’s wrong with you? Can’t you control that boy?”

Mom took a step forward and waved at Lisa. “Your daughter is telling the truth. She came here to talk. Seth had nothing to do with this. He wasn’t even here when she arrived.”

“Oh, I’m sure!” Mrs. Hartwell said.

I could tell this was about to turn into a full-blown fight. Everyone needed to calm down. I thought up a simple spell, one similar to others I had used at home, but this would ease everyone’s anger. I cast it on the room and for a few seconds, everyone stood where they were breathing deeply and looking relaxed.

I approached the living room. “Mrs. Hartwell, I wish there were a way to convince you of the truth, but if you don’t want to believe your own daughter, nothing anyone else says will help either.”

She stared at me for a minute and then looked at her daughter again. “What was so important you had to come over here alone to talk?”

“I came alone because you and Dad both believe Seth is like a serial killer or something. Neither of you would have let me come over here at all, even if you were with me.”

Over protective much?

Mrs. Hartwell softened her tone further. “Baby, you don’t understand. We’re just trying to keep you safe.”

Lisa pointed at me. “From guys like him?”

“Of course, baby.”

“Now, wait a minute,” Mom said. “My son never touched your daughter. There was never any attempted rape. Nothing like that.”

Mrs. Hartwell gave Mom a withering look. “Of course you would defend your son.”

“Mom!” Lisa barked. “You’re not listening. Seth never touched me. Whoever said that I was almost raped lied. Flat lied.”

Mrs. Hartwell looked at her daughter like a child that simply didn’t understand what the adults were discussing.

I was beginning to wonder if there was more to Mrs. Hartwell than willful ignorance. While everyone continued to talk, I focused on Mrs. Hartwell and pulled up her emotional scoreboard. Some of her emotions were high, but nothing indicated a Geas. So, if that wasn’t the cause, what was? I tried several other magic detection spells. There were spells on her, and all but one was very subtle. I didn’t recognize the one stronger spell, but they all had to do with emotions. Removing the subtle spells only took a rudimentary counter-spell.

I cast the counter-spell on her while they talked.

Mrs. Hartwell shook her head and swayed on her feet.

“Mom? What’s wrong?” Lisa asked.

She held out her hand to keep her balance and then said, “I’m feeling a touch dizzy.”

Lisa took her hand and guided her to the chair she had been sitting in.

Mom looked a bit confused but Alyssa looked at me. “What did you do?” she mouthed at me.

I shook my head and looked at Mrs. Hartwell again. “Alyssa could you get our guest a glass of water?”

Alyssa sighed and left to do so.

I reached over and tugged on Mom’s elbow. She looked at me and I nodded to the couch. She nodded too and sat down. I sat down next to her, but further from Lisa and her mother.

Orphan 1

Orphan By Susan Brown Chapter 1 As we travelled along in the car, I wondered what would become of me. I thought back two weeks ago and remembered with horror when I found out that my parents had died coming back from a new year's party. It was 1969 when they left and it was now 1970. I had been tucked up in bed and fast asleep. I had only just turned 11 and was considered too young to stay up very late; as my...

Orphan 2

Orphan 2 By Susan Brown Mandy lived in a semi on the nice side of the town and the garden looked pretty and well looked after. As I walked up the path I remembered the garden at my house. I had helped my mum and dad in the garden, it was fun. I loved getting all mucky and everything. We had a nice house; it was detached and had a lovely back garden. I sighed as I walked up the path. Mandy had a key in her hand and she opened the front door with it. I followed her in and...

Orphan Chapter 3 I looked up at the sign "Lavenham Girls Care Home" and shuddered slightly. The cool breeze was lifting up the hem of my dress a bit and what with trying to hold my Biggles book in one hand and my teddy in the other, I was having a hard time of it. I transferred Teddy to my other arm and manfully or should I say girlfully tried to hold my hem down as we walked up the steps. I felt so strange; my hair was getting in my eyes and I didn't have a free hand to...

Chapter 4 There wasn't a sound. "Penny, I see you have a smirk on your face, so you can answer me." I looked at the girl who had pink t shirt and matching shorts on. They didn't go with her flaming red hair and freckles, but what did I know? "Sorry Miss." "For what?" "Playing tennis but I was Virginia Wade and Trish was Billy Jean King and I was beating the pants off her and..." "No you wasn't, I had just sliced one past you..." "QUIET!" Both girls became...

So we walked into the dining room. As usual, sickly green walls and slightly sicker dark green floors confronted me. There were about a dozen tables dotted about, formica I think but I couldn't really tell as they were all covered in red plastic check table cloths. Tracy grabbed my arm and led me over to a table in the corner. As we passed the other tables, I was very aware of the stares I was getting. Did everyone know I was a boy? Would they lynch me if they found out? I...

I followed the Sheriff to an older model Buick. He unlocked the driver door with a key, opened it, and unlocked the rest of the doors from inside. “Get in,” he said. “You said we were going to talk,” I said and glanced at the car. “Where are we going?” He smiled that indulgent smile. “The questions I’m going to ask, can’t be asked out in public like this.” Then he started to climb in but stopped and looked at me. “You know that, right?” I stared at him for a second and then said,...

Orphan MagusChapter 3

I made it back to my car without being accosted by anyone, unless Rho’s non-stop comments on everything from the color of the sky to the way that I walk counts. I unlocked and climbed into my car. She was already in the passenger seat. “You do know how much worse that could have gone, don’t you?” she asked in a sober tone. Her question didn’t bother me as much as her sudden change in personality and clothes. Gone were the skin-tight threads, replaced by an elegant dress and corset. Her hair...

Chloe and I made it to the highway before we spotted Ricardo in a black SUV. Between the two of us, my car was completely shielded from damage or from being knocked over directly, but that didn’t stop Ricardo from trying to stop us by using the other cars on the highway. At one point, we got lucky when one of his own spells backfired and he was stuck in a pileup while we drove on. For a moment, I felt relieved. True, others had tried to kill me, but not with Magic. On top of that, I had no...

Orphan MagusChapter 5

The only person in the den was a man with graying hair, a clean-shaven face, and a suit that probably cost more than I would make in a year. He sat behind a desk that was made of dark wood, which was polished to a high sheen. The rest of the furnishings looked just as extravagant, just as expensive. Part of me knew this all belonged to my deceased biological mother, but another part hoped the first part was wrong. I didn’t want things this expensive. I just wanted answers to a few personal...

I was glad I didn’t rush through the mirror. I stopped after passing through and stood at the top of a staircase. Light came from below. For the most part, it looked perfectly welcoming, unlike the basements I saw in numerous movies. I looked behind me, but only saw a mirror. I had to assume that this mirror worked the same as the one in the Den. Part of me wanted to touch it, just to see if my hand would pass through it, but I held off on the compulsion. I focused on the stairs and...

Hayden’s Rho sat where I had left her. She stood up. “Did everything go well?” I nodded and held up the key. “Is this the key to the Locket I was supposed to receive?” She looked at it and nodded. “Yes. You should put it on now, so you won’t lose it. You must keep it safe and out of sight at all times.” I nodded and slipped the chain over my head. “By the way, you should have mentioned something about exiting the Vault before I left. I wasn’t sure what I expected when I left the den. Maybe Mr. Van Dusen would be waiting for me. Maybe Ms. Kulick would be. The foyer, however, was empty. I needed to go to Newton Grove, but I didn’t have a car. I looked at Rho, who met my eyes with something akin to sexual devotion in hers. I could feel her hand in mine, warm and soft. It was different from before, but I couldn’t put my finger on what that difference was. All I knew was that I liked it. I knew, standing there gazing into her...

Orphan MagusChapter 9

The shower wasn’t a simple one-person stall. The size of all the other rooms should have clued me in. The running theme on size exceeded anything I needed. Obviously, the design and layout of the Manor intended more people to live here than a single college student and a handful of servants. The size of the bedroom alone suggested orgies rather than the comfortable cuddling of a couple. The sitting room could host a dinner party that would have felt crowded in my old apartment. It was the...

Ms. Kulick and I cleaned each other up one more time, and though I felt like I could go another round, she didn’t. I was okay with that. In fact, I felt sated. I had never felt that way before, as if I had been dying of thirst and sex quenched me. It was a weird feeling. Yet, I recalled what Rho said about the Manor being the home to my family of Magi for almost two-hundred years. I had cast a number of spells on my apartment. Several of those spells had to do with sex, such as self-cleaning...

The only light on, other than in the foyer, was in the kitchen. I followed that, along with the smell of freshly brewed coffee. I didn’t drink coffee all the time. To me, coffee started the day, but my parents and many of their friends enjoyed coffee anytime they found an excuse. To be honest, if Mom offered me coffee, it meant she saw me as a grown up. If she didn’t, then it could mean she wouldn’t believe anything I had to say, which would make my efforts all the more difficult. I no more...

Orphan MagusChapter 12

I didn’t sleep as well as I had hoped. It may have been the fact that I was alone, or in a twin sized bed. I could have been the nightmares that kept waking me up. All I knew was I was ready to get up when my alarm went off. I didn’t have a towel or a change of clothes, but I was accustomed to starting the day with a shower. Consequently, I gathered my clothes and headed down the hall to the bathroom. I stopped next to the bathroom door. Alyssa always beat me to the bathroom in the...

Alyssa drove a 2007 Nissan Sentra. She kept it very clean, but it lacked that new car smell. When we left the house, I thought we might head north to Smithfield and Carolina Premium Outlets. Instead, she turned south and took us into town. I wasn’t completely against the idea. We would be close to the Sheriff’s office this way. What bothered me more was that we passed Dollar General. After taking Alyssa to the house and dropping her off, I went back into town. I knew the parade started later today, and the police and fire departments would block off several roads for that, but the lights, sirens, and rush of several fire trucks told me there was an emergency rather than preparations for a celebration. I didn’t intentionally follow the fire trucks. The fire station sits on the same street as the Sheriff’s office. They’re about a block apart and on the opposite sides of...

A faint sprinkle of magic? Where did that come from? It wasn’t strong enough to outright force me to do anything, but I was definitely the target and it attempted to influence me to do what Anna said. I had enough power to resist, which I did, but I couldn’t tell from whom the spell originated. Unless someone cast the spell from far, far away, someone in this room was using. I don’t know how long I sat in that room, in handcuffs, on a metal chair. I would have been more comfortable sitting on the hard, tiled floor without the handcuffs. No one checked on me. No one brought me my phone and charger. No one came in to ask questions. I started to believe that everyone had forgotten about me. My stomach grumbled. I was hungry. Even after that huge breakfast this morning. Either my metabolism had gone way up since they arrested me, or it had been several hours. My...

Orphan MagusChapter 18

I finished the sandwich without really tasting it. My stomach was happy, but I wasn’t. Sergeant Rawlings came in a moment later and handed me a folder similar to the one he showed me that morning. From the weight of it, it had all of the same photos and information as the original. I nodded in thanks, and he waved me out of the room. Jenkins stood nearby. He watched as Rawlings led me to the rear exit of the building. I stopped before leaving. “Jenkins handcuffed me while I was on my phone...

Orphan MagusChapter 19

The drive to the closest Christmas tree place took about twenty minutes. Northlake Christmas Trees & Nursery didn’t look very busy, but then, how many people would be out in a snowstorm trying to find a Christmas tree? I eased through the entrance. Snow and mud splashed up onto the windshield. I had the heater directed up through the vents on the dashboard at full blast to keep the windshield from freezing over. The snow melted right off, but the mud was a different story. I had to use...

Orphan MagusChapter 20

Between the heavy fall of snow, the thick layers of snow on the roads, and the scratching sounds of the tree on the roof of the car, it took me more than twice the time to get home as it did to get to the nursery. When I pulled in and parked behind Mom’s SUV, I finally let myself breathe a sigh of relief. It wasn’t really the drive that had made me nervous, but the combination of running into Lisa Hartwell at the nursery, and then Nigel Sparks who wanted to run his fist into me. I thought for...

Orphan MagusChapter 21

I waited until my anger cooled enough that I wouldn’t get both of us into trouble by starting an argument that would need explaining. I climbed out of the tub, dried off, and then wondered what I would wear. The clothes I wore today were all soaking wet. Even my underwear. My ONLY pair of underwear. I leaned against the sink with my head low. I was stretched too far in too many directions to do what I really needed to do. Yes, I got the police report, but only at the cost of not returning to...

Orphan MagusChapter 22

After putting away the clothes, Mom headed back downstairs and I decided to change into a sweater to go with the pajama pants rather than stay in the robe. I went down after that. In the living room, Alyssa hung another ornament and then clapped. “Other than the top, we’re done with the tree.” Alyssa and Mom turned as one to look at me. Well, I did pick an eight-foot tree, and I was the tallest. Therefore, it would be up to me to place the topper. I went to the utility room, found the...

Orphan MagusChapter 23

“Seth? Baby? C’mon. Let’s get you up to bed.” I looked up at my Mom. She stood over me, shaking my shoulder. I didn’t see Alyssa anywhere. “Is the movie over?” “Yeah, baby,” she said as I sat up. “Do you need some help?” I blinked my eyes and looked around. She had already cleared away the drinks and food. I shook my head and stood up. I didn’t feel as dizzy as earlier. I turned and shuffled toward the stairs. I made it to the top of the stairs and looked down into the living room from...

Orphan MagusChapter 24

What few dreams I remembered were plagued with keys and lockets and spells going awry. Alyssa woke me up a couple of times, not because I was tossing and turning, but to enjoy another round of deep-seeded orgasms. The dreams, however, bothered me. They bothered me a lot. Someone knocked on my door. Then I heard, “Get up sleepy head. You can’t sleep all day.” I recognized that voice. Yeah, it was Mom. I froze. I remembered every detail from the night before, with the exception of the end...

Orphan MagusChapter 25

True to Mom’s word, though the garage was attached to the house, the central heat did nothing for the garage. It was cold. Fortunately, the wind remained outside. I shivered in my flannel shirt and tucked my hands under my armpits to keep them warm. I flicked on the lights in the garage and looked around. Half of the garage held tables, tools, stored items, so on and so forth. The other half was clear so that a vehicle could park inside. Why didn’t Mom use it? I looked up at the garage door...

Orphan MagusChapter 26

Kelly gave me a push, so I rolled off her. She rolled off the bed, and walked over to one of the padded walls. She pulled on something and the padding opened like a door. She smiled at me, pointed into the doorway, and said, “We have a half-bath in here.” Then she stepped inside. A light flicked on and I heard running water. The light flicked off, and she came out with a wet washcloth and a towel. She walked over to the bed, wearing only her sweater, pulled up over her breasts. She tossed...

Orphan MagusChapter 27

Without any preamble, Alyssa walked into the house and stopped in the breakfast nook where Mom sat at the table with her lunch and a glass of wine. She set the box on the table and said, “Mom, you and I have to talk.” “Alyssa, slow down,” I said, catching her elbow. Touching her would distract her, thanks to our bond, but she jerked away from me. “No, I want answers.” Mom, as calm as ever, set her sandwich down. She took a quick sip of wine, set the glass down again, and looked at Alyssa....

Orphan MagusChapter 28

After clearing up the ice in the garage, and closing the carport doors, I went back into the house to get warm. Alyssa and Kelly were gone. I quietly moved further into the house, listening. Laughter came from the master bedroom. Laughter? Either someone found some laughing gas, or Kelly and Alyssa were getting along. I seriously doubted the gas, so I accepted the tranquil sounds and turned back to the door leading up to the playroom. I wanted to do a thorough search up there while I had...

Orphan MagusChapter 29

Sheila lay in front of me, with her legs spread wide and expectation etched into her face. I should have known better than to talk to her at all. I should have refused this, but I ran with it. I didn’t see any other options. I didn’t know any way to make it work in my favor. So, I was stuck. I made a magical agreement with her and I had to fulfill my part of that bargain. I had to make her cum. There was only one thing that might help me, and to use it, I had to touch her. I could glean her...

Orphan MagusChapter 30

I watched Sheila walk off toward a dark blue Mazda. She climbed in, started the car, and left. She was lucky she found me after we arrived. I had to be more careful. If anyone else found me, if anyone got lucky, then my luck would run out. I didn’t need the Sheriff finding out that I was in the city limits again after I had agreed to stay out. It made me nervous. I looked toward the store and spotted Alyssa and Kelly with two carts full of food. Either the house was almost bare or they went...

Orphan MagusChapter 31

I heard a knock at the door, a loud one. It wasn’t to the bedroom door. Maybe the front door of the house. I remembered both where I was and what I had been doing all night. I sat bolt upright, with only a comforter covering my naked body. I looked around, ready to wake up my Kelly and Alyssa, but found that I was alone. The body I thought I was curled up with was actually a full-body pillow. While warm, soft, and comfortable, it wasn’t the same as a real body – especially a woman’s body....

The three of use left that little room. Jenkins was nowhere to be seen. Maybe he went back to the front desk. I didn’t know and was simply thankful I didn’t have to worry about him for the moment. The Sergeant led our short procession to the back of the station, followed by Mr. Van Dusen, and then myself. As we walked, I focused on the Sergeant. Anna put a geas on him once. I didn’t want her to do it again. By the time we reached the Sergeant’s office, I had the spell in mind. It wasn’t...

Orphan MagusChapter 33

We arrived at the Motel 6 in Emporia shortly before noon. The buildings looked their age, especially with all the snow. There were several strings of Christmas lights along the lower edges of the upper levels, as well as lining the windows to the front office, and a Christmas tree stood next to one of the windows in the office too. The Motel looked relatively empty, but then for all I knew, they were normally always slow this time of year. It wasn’t as if Emporia was known around the Nation...

Orphan MagusChapter 34

The officers drove me further into town to talk to a medical examiner. I couldn’t say how long it took us to get there, since I wasn’t exactly in my headspace during the ride. Rho remained by my side, though the officers didn’t realize it. She even dressed down for the depressing possibility of what I had to face. She wore a simple black dress that covered her to her knees yet hugged her as if it belonged to her little sister. She also had on a wide-brimmed black hat, black stockings, and...

Orphan MagusChapter 35

The drive home was quiet. Rho stayed with me most of the way. I asked her more questions about how to find the locket, but she couldn’t think of anything. I also asked about how to tell my family about Dad. Again, she was no help. She finally decided that she wasn’t needed and disappeared. I knew I could call her back, if for no other reason than for some company, but she wasn’t the kind of company I needed, so I drove the last half an hour alone. I pulled into the driveway only to find two...

Orphan MagusChapter 36

I stood in the foyer, shivering from cold, and holding a woman to whom I never thought I would get this close. She shivered too. We had been outside, and fallen in a heap in the snow. For the most part, my jeans and dad’s old work jacket saved me from getting soaked, but Olive hadn’t been as fortunate. She had a long, fur-lined coat, which was heavy and could keep a snowman warm, but it couldn’t work as well while unbuttoned and open, as it currently was. She wanted to show me what she wore...

Orphan MagusChapter 37

I stood at the open doorway to the master bath. Leaning against the wall next to the doorway, I couldn’t see the tub. “You wanted to talk, Olive?” I called. “I would rather talk face to face,” she said. I couldn’t hear any movement, which either meant she was neck deep in the water, as I had been when I had to warm up, or the tub was empty and she was doing something I couldn’t hear. I could easily imagine what she was doing. I had seen enough of her in the car to know what she looked like...

Orphan MagusChapter 38

Olive’s eyes watched my face as she knelt to take off my shoes and socks. She observed my reactions as she unfastened my pants and pulled them off. She kept her eyes on mine as she gently drew down my underwear. She couldn’t help herself when my erection sprang out and slapped the side of her face, however. She grabbed it, realized what she held, glanced up at my face, and then openly gawked at it. I thought I heard something in the bedroom. I looked that way and focused on listening, but I...

Orphan MagusChapter 40

Mom went to open the front door. I stuffed the key into my pocket as I moved into the darkness of the kitchen. I walked over to the doorway closest to the entry and pulled out my phone. I wanted to use the camera feature to look around the doorway and see who was there without letting them see me. “Mrs. Connor, is Seth here?” I recognized the blue hair. It belonged to Stefany from Shirley’s. There were also two brunettes and two blondes. I knew them from school, but I couldn’t recall their...

Orphan MagusChapter 41

While Anna and Rawlings discussed what they could and could not do, I wrested myself loose from Lisa and moved around the island to stand by Mom. Lisa refused to let me get too far away and followed me. I leaned toward mom and quietly asked, “Are you wearing any jewelry?” She blinked at me. “Yes, but this isn’t the time...” I shook my head. “What are you wearing?” I wasn’t trying to be coy. Instead, I gave her my most sincere and serious face. She studied my expression and then said, “It’s...

Orphan MagusChapter 42

I returned to the living room to find both Lisa and her mother sitting on the couch. Lisa sat closer to the chair, but at least I wouldn’t have to fight off her wondering hands. I sat on the chair with both necklaces in hand. Both of them continued to glow. No one had mentioned the glow so either I was the only one privy to it because I had worn the key for so many days already or because I was a Magus. If the latter reason was the case, then why didn’t Anna react to it? Maybe she either...

Orphan MagusChapter 43

Something woke me up. “What was that?” Lisa asked, half-asleep. I shook my head. “I hope it’s not your parents.” “Don’t even joke about that.” We lay there, holding each other and drifting off again when I heard something. The only way to describe it would be a soft explosion. I looked up at my only window. The sun was up but there was another glow too. A flickering, fiery glow that reminded me of the light coming from the fireplace. Then I recalled seeing fire that wasn’t in a...

Orphan MagusChapter 44

Two days after the fight with Ricardo, we held the funeral for Wayne Bernard Connors. Lisa’s parents showed up, as did a number of people from town who knew dad. Preacher William Littlewood presided. We even bought dad a coffin even though there was nothing but ashes to bury. Mom insisted. After the funeral, Mom, Alyssa, and I met with Mr. Van Dusen for the reading of the will. Dad left mom everything from the safe deposit box, which included the deed to the house and the small bit of land it...

Orphans

We were both orphans, her by an act of God, me by an act of parental choice. Her last year of High School was spent with her paternal grandmother after her mom and dad were killed in a tornado. I spent my entire life living with different 'nannies' and 'governesses' because my parents were too busy to bother with the 'accident' they spawned. Yeah, I know. You're saying 'poor little rich kid' right now. Well, big deal. They say that money can't buy happiness, they're right. It only...

Orphans Of The Storm

Paul Simon's classic song Graceland drifts through the car radio, and fills my head with her image. It's as if she's sitting next to me, her bare feet on the bash board singing out-of-tune with the rhythmic beat of the uneven tarmac. For a woman in her mid-sixties my mother knew a good song when she heard one, and this is one of her favourites. Pushing the volume button and I join her in an imaginary duet: Memphis - Tennessee, I'm going to Graceland. There's an overwhelming sense of deja-vu as...

Orphans Love In Barren World Part 8211 2

The life was so well enjoyed that the three women did not waste any movement. Since the business was dealt from home itself, their home was a paradise for them. People used to hardly see them coming out of the home. The most interested part was the boob sucking of Anitha by Radha and Sumitra. She was also pleasured by pussy licking which was mostly done by Sumitra and Anitha started reciprocating the activities with Radha and Sumitra. Anitha’s love towards both of them was enormous and she...

Earth and Soil

I was on my way home from a nice cup of tea with Grace, Tellus's CEO in a designing company. And with her I learnt that my elder brother was a gay. He had a lover before, named Sphere, who died due to asthma. As a brother, I knew how lonely he felt all these years. But what can I do to make him happy again? I was walking down the pavement towards our house when a dirty thought came to mind - should I do as what Sphere had done to Tellus? But I never knew how being a gay was like, since i'm a...

Beth Naked in SchoolChapter 12

Sunday I know people go to church these days in tee shirts, jeans, everything but tank tops and hot pants, but that is not the way it is in our family. Daddy always wears a tie and either a conservative sports jacket or, more usually, a suit. Today it was his best suit, with a very distinguished necktie. Very "Regis Philbin," if you know what I mean. My brother, of course, was fully aware of the Uniform of the Day, so he was appropriately garbed as well in a very nice blazer and sharply...

The carrier Eagle circled the planet New Singapore. Around the system, the ships of the Royal Alderian navy watched and waited for the enemy to appear. Her escort of five destroyers and the cruiser Ajax guarded her like a sheepdog guarding her flock. Ten million miles away the dreadnought Bellerophon and the battle cruisers Inflexible and Black Prince traveled together under a small screening force of ten destroyers. Down on the surface of the planet, shuttles and transports continued to lift...

Arlene and JeffChapter 292

Martha's Restaurant Steve had left a nice tip on the table for the waitress at Martha's Restaurant, but when he got to the cash register with their bill, the woman glanced at it and refused his card. "Already paid for," she insisted. When Steve tried to question her, she told them that the owner had said to not accept any money from them because the meal was already paid for. "Have a nice afternoon," she said with a smile, then turned to her next customer. In the parking lot, Steve...
