Prologue: Between Worlds
"Do not avert your gaze, mortal. We have seen your desires, your dark fantasies, and we have judged them worthy,” a voice echoed from the void.

I tried to speak, but I had no mouth and no voice. In fact, I didn’t have a body at all. But they must have heard me nonetheless.
My consciousness slipped away into an inky void.
Shapes began to manifest. Two slim, fit-looking women appeared. One had dark brown hair, the other woman pure white. Instinctively I knew, they were no mortals.
"Ayo, got 'im!" the white-haired woman said, sounding rather freakish. The voice I heard was definitely not hers. It must be the other one then.
"Ignore my sister, Carnachias, please. Serial masturbation has left her brain damaged." The brown-haired woman sighed. Her voice matches the one I heard earlier.
"Kek, you fell for Mel's lies.” continued Carnachias.
"Do not address me by that name! And I've told no lies." refuted Mel.

Since you have a human soul, but we’ll give you a monster body, you should be able to gain all the advantages of both the light and the dark!”
That made a twisted kind of sense to me. If there were two kinds of gods, and I was somehow able to get both their boons, that would make me more powerful than any other!
"Let's start customising your body. We could put you into a normal monster, but since your soul is such a special snowflake I'm going to make you into a special snowflake monster." explained Carnachias.
Images and forms appear all around me, with text and numbers explaining them as well. They were ideas made manifest, floating in the void like holograms. Besides all the options for what kind of monster I want to be, the holograms also have information about the world I will be living in, including my archenemies and even a little trivia. Neat.
Apparently, the light was domineering pretty hard, not that that’s any surprise with how overpowered the hero and her party are… regarding gods, there was a whole light pantheon, with Carnachias and Melanoche being the only dark gods, called the Dark Twins. Melanoche represented the Black Night, Carnachias was vaguely associated with depravity.
Given this information, how should I proceed? The obvious choice would of course be to gather as much personal strength and fight my enemies head-on. Naturally, I would have to keep in mind that growth was more important than starting strength, no matter how tempting the absurdly high numbers were. And yet… that wasn’t my style. And it didn’t seem particularly smart either. Even if the Dark Twins planned on resurrecting me at least once and I could find allies with resurrection magic, there were ways to kill without resurrection, like that Obliterate spell… And then, everything would be over.
No, fighting myself, and facing enemies directly wasn’t my style. Even in my old life, I had been a strategist, someone who hides in the shadows and manipulates others without ever being seen. And this time, I would have a much better toolset! I would sire an army of children, and use them to fight my enemies, without ever leaving the safety of my dungeon! Of course, I shouldn’t leave myself open to attacks, in case there was ever a powerful intruder.
After an in-depth study of all the options and some considerations, I decided to take the ‘powerful’ core. ‘Humiliating’ seemed nothing but a waste, and while seedbed was certainly interesting, the downsides of being either sessile or a worm sadly outweighed the benefits. And between the remaining two, making my future harem submit by strength certainly appeared more to my tastes. And yes, I would definitely build a harem, the hottest and biggest harem the world had ever seen!
Size wise, ‘Huge’ and ‘Massive’ appealed the most to me. Not just due to my sense of aesthetics, although raping a tiny human as a massive monster certainly would be delicious. No, their perks were simply better… In the end, I decided to be ‘huge’, the monster power would prove more useful if I planned to hide in my dungeon most of the time.
Although all cheats looked great, ‘Hybridization’ definitely took the cake. It was nice to know that they would revive me at least once or so, though.
So, to choose two monster families… Ehhhh… there were so many and they are all great! Okay, one would definitely be Erosarkic, 3-9 children with every pregnancy was just too sweet to pass up. And Therionic would be the second one. If I had only a few dozen children, making them obey by ordinary means would have been possible. But if I had thousands, and I was planning to, an insurrection was nigh inevitable. Luckily, the ‘Load of Bull’ would prevent that!
As my monster powers, I chose ‘Dungeon Master’ and ‘Elemental Infusion: Life’ because it seemed most appropriate for someone who was going to create thousands of monsters… maybe I could even use it to alter them? Like Dr. Frankenstein?
The complete package and all add-ons were a no-brainer. And for my class, I chose ‘Knight’. Might be somewhat counter-intuitive, given that ‘Sorcerer’ and ‘Assassin’ were options, much more appropriate for an eminence in the shadows. But it was a class that would definitely prove useful, and there was just no way I’d ever obtain it later…
“I am done,” I told the Dark Twins and presented my choices to them.”
“Fufufu… Do you plan on fighting at all or do you just want to build a rape dungeon? hummed Carnachias with a smile. Melanoche seemed less pleased with my choices, but didn’t complain.
“Alright, we will now reincarnate you into Ruyanei. When you wake up, you will be a monster like you chose.” Said Melanoche.
“Could you please spawn me far away from any civillisation? Deep underground maybe?” I asked them as my consciousness began to fade.
“We have very little control over that, but I can try.” answered Melanoche. Most of my ‘field of view’ was already gone.
“Uhm Mel, don't you think he's gonna need some extra enticement to deal with those OP as fuck bitches?” asked Carnachias her sister.
“I intended to bestow him with immortality and the ability to step in between the planes were he to succeed,” replied Melanoche.
“Uhh, yeah no, he can get that just by walking out of here and drinking from the fountain, hahaha I've got it.” wondered Carnachias, before turning to me. “What do you think of my sister? Because if you win, I'll give you her hand in marriage. Wait, no that's worthless I’ll give you her as a slave.”
“Wha... No, I refuse.” said Melanoche.

Both sisters were stunned for a moment. Carnachias face slowly distorted into a giant smile, while Melanoche’s was filled with more and more disgust.

Suddenly, I was elsewhere, yet not on the world where I should have woken up. Instead, I was in another void, but instead of inky black, this one was bright white!

Before me appeared a number of holograms again. The families seemed mostly lame, even if geared more towards magic, which was nice. The only ability that was really useful came from the ‘Sin Eater’, but it was still less beneficial to me than what I already had. Hard pass.
The cores however… these were a different matter. ‘Beautiful’ was lame, but the other to… Very, very impressive. Too bad that I could take only one. My choice fell on ‘Inspiring’.
“That convince you to listen to me? Don't Answer, yet! I have much better things in store, but I can't hand them out for free and, unlike those two, I pride myself on making honest offers. It just meant that I couldn’t align myself with any dark faction other than my own, right? That was doable, the Dark Twins even outright said that they weren’t fond of this generation of devils… So I chose the oath.
“Alright. I am a little disappointed that you’ve only taken one, but well… Anyways! Choose two Angelic Blessings and one Divine Miracle!
The holograms vanished and new ones appeared in their place, 12 in total.
Ehhh… whelp, very different qualities here. ‘Warmth’ was utterly useless, ‘Angelic Protection’ and ‘Immaculate Conception’ like a worse version of their dark counterpart, and although ‘Domain’ seemed very useful, it didn’t work well with my dungeon… So I chose ‘Humanity’ and ‘God’s Eye’.
The miracles were all amazing, much like the cheats… Two of them stood out to me, however: the ‘Mark Of Submission’ and ‘Pure Land’. I really, really, REALLY wanted the mark of submission! But the pure land would just go too well with my dungeon… Should I maybe swear another oath? No, It should be fine, my children would be loyal to me, I could mindbreak my harem and in the future, I could obtain the mind control power… Reluctantly, I chose the ‘Pure Land’.
I communicated my choices to Ariel and he nodded.
“So, this is it. I can’t keep you any longer without those two noticing, but I’m sure I’ve changed your mind about the whole rape monster business. I’m me, after all! In case you’re still planning to help those two perverts, I’ll remind you of one thing: The good guys always win! See ya!” he said and I fade away once more.
