Kim jerked up and reached for the knife she kept hidden in her pocket as someone shook. She relaxed when she saw it was just the bus driver.
"This is your stop isn’t it?" he said smiling kindly.
"Yes thank you" Kim replied getting up and grabbing her duffel bag from the compartment above her head. She got off the bus and hurried into the station. Despite her attempts to escape the rain, she was completely soaked by the time she reached the front doors.
With a sigh and shudder Kim went to the nearest restroom and took a towel out of her duffel. As she dried off she watched the people coming and going behind her in the mirror. She nearly jumped when she saw a young woman glance appreciatively at her ass.
Kim threw the towel back in her duffel and hurried out of the restroom. She found where her train was and hurried over to it. She couldn’t afford to miss the train; there wouldn’t be another one to Chicago for at least three days.
Kim got on the train and found a seat at the back off one of the passenger cars. She curled up and rested her head against the cold window. She gradually listened to the train filling up. Kim was just starting to drift off when someone asked her if they could sit next to her since most of the seats were already full. Kim nodded and started to drift off again.
"Hi, I’m Evie," said the woman next to Kim, extending her hand. Obviously this woman had no intentions of letting her sleep.
"Kim," Kim replied, shaking the extended hand. Kim sat up and turned to get a better look at the woman next to her. She was shockingly beautiful with long blond hair that went down past her waist and green eyes that shown like emeralds in the dim light of the train compartment.
She let go of the tall beauty’s hand reluctantly. Kim smiled; she had no intentions of going to sleep now. She spent the next couple hours talking about nothing important, life, weather, books and movies, etc.
"Hey you want to go up to the dinner cart and have some dinner, I’ll buy." Said Evie.
"Sure" said Kim; free meals were hard enough to come by any-ways. They got up and made their way up to the dining car, Kim started to go to a table, but Evie grabbed her hand and told her to come on. Confused, Kim followed Evie to the first class dining car.
This was not what she had expected; she panicked when the conductor asked to see their first class seating tickets. Evie smiled and reached into her pocket, she pulled out to first class tickets.
"Don’t ask" she muttered as she led Kim to a table in the corner. She sat down and Evie sat down opposite her. Kim felt Evie rest her leg against her thigh. Evie smiled and continued talking as though she hadn’t even noticed. Evie helped Kim order since Kim wasn’t used to such nice dining.
Kim dazedly allowed Evie to tell her what to order. Kim and Evie ate a nice dinner; it was the best Kim had had in a long time. She was feeling heady from the rich food and the wine Evie had somehow procured, without being asked for a license.
"So, where are you planning to sleep tonight?" Evie asked.
"I was just planning to bunk down in coach" Kim replied.
"Oh, that wont do at all. You can stay in my compartment; there is plenty of room for both of us. " Said Evie. Kim agreed without complaint. Her head was to clouded by the wine. Evie paid for the dinner, in cash none the less! Then she led Kim to her compartment. Where they continued to talk for a while.
"You should go get your stuff" suggested Evie "I’m gonna take a quick shower while your getting your stuff."
Kim nearly ran out of the room when Evie started pulling her clothes off. Right there in front of Kim. She hurried back to the passenger car and picked up her stuff. Kim had managed a few days earlier to sneak a brief moment with her friend, Kristine. Kristine had told her to run and not come back for her sake, they had kissed and Kim had never seen Kristine again. She had intended to come home in a few years and find Kristine.
Kim woke up she was lying on Evie’s bed. She looked up to see Evie hovering over her worriedly.
"Oh thank the goddess, Kim your alright" Evie said
"What happened?"
"You passed out" replied Evie, seeming to hope that Kim had passed out before she had started trying to screw her. She hoped Kim wouldn’t remember she was totally embarrassed. It must have been the wine she thought to herself. She helped Kim up into a sitting position.
