The appartment was empty when I came home. I'd like to come home to a hot cup of tea, donuts and pancakes and a smiling face, but neither I nor my partner can afford to waste time on such niceties. Maybe, in a few years, once we built financial security, will one of us be able to take some time off once in a while.
