The CCD stood for “Community Center Dance”, which was exactly what it sounded like. On the Friday at the end of every month, the Buffalo Valley Lions Club held a dance for kids in 9th through 12h grade. The initial fee to get in was $12, but drinks and pizza costed much less. A DJ was hired to play requested songs from 7-11 o’clock at night while a few parent volunteers kept a close eye on all the kids.
