'No, I’ve got to make myself dinner, Dad’s out with mates.' He raised his hand and waved, and I waved back, putting in my earphones and waiting patiently, my ears being filled with slow jams and gentle beats. The train arrived, allowing me time to produce the ticket from my wallet, and I gently hopped onto one of the quieter carriages – in fact, basically an empty carriage. I decided to sit more alone, on the other side of the cabin to them, and shuffled another playlist, this time my Daily Mix.
