The rain furiously pounded against the window on a cold November afternoon. It is one of those depressingly dull grey wet days that makes one wish to be anywhere other than where they are. The fact that our protagonist, John, and the rest of his class were the first of an experimental Grade 13, so he had to sit through an extra and completely unnecessary year of high school was not helping. The student-teacher ratio was now an average of 15:1. And as for the new laboratory, it would put those of far too many universities to shame. Yes, the school was impressive and cutting edge and all those things. It still did not make up for the fact that he was still in high school and nearly 19.
There he sat, John Doe, his eyes attached to the form of his young, fresh from college, 23 year old English teacher, and feeling a total nerd. He had finished the work that was intended to keep the class busy for the whole period and more than likely a bit of homework as well, in less than twenty minutes. Now had he nothing to do but stare at sensual Ms. Furr. She was not one to tempt the young flesh before her by action, it was that natural sexuality.
