Most get off at the lawyer’s floor lucky number 14, 17 and 18. I am awaiting the 28th floor. The Human Resources Clerk Ms. Leilana the executive human resource clerk the one everyone else answers to. The word is she’s a BITCH and that is the nicest way of putting it. I’m in the elevator breathing in and out trying to recollect my thoughts and trying this “up-speak” approach. Let me be real, its management and in fact is upper management. A different type of monster a whole other type of level of stupid the type that comes in trying to fix what is not broken in the first place and turn around and blame the first person under them.
DING DING DING < elevator door opens, there I go walking out to a small hallway with a check-in desk at the center. Two officers in business attire each one at each side of the desk and the receptionist sitting at the desk. They aren’t no different wearing same uniform under their fancy looking blazers. Looking fancy but all they are is a $2 more security officer that most likely just knew who and how to brown nose their way to that position. I check in but of course, they already know who I am. I am known around the field, Vanessa my name is well spoken in the field you ever been outside on the ground in the perimeter you know me by first name bases. They grant me entry to a wooden Mahogany type door to the far left the whole system is fob activated computerized from the inside and outside. Impressive for anyone unfamiliar with the system but is nothing uncommon. Just some big shot guru trying to impress someone. I hear the pop sound of the system un-securing the door and the officer behind me “you may enter” I think to myself “no cuz I’m just going to stand here staring at this wooden door like u do all day, right” rookies don’t even know who to properly greet the guest.
I walk into a very spaces office small but selective library to my left another Mahogany coffee table to my right with two chairs of the same kind each on the opposite side of the table looks like the table has never been used. Most likely a new purchase after 30days and dust collected it will be discarded n a new one will be brought in that’s how this type of people operated. I walk in very fancy offices all in ash Mahoney wood display thru out the office the floor even looks like marble or that thing that appears as marble but a sheep version of it, but this does not look sheep at all even as I walk it has a smooth feel to it. A vintage feels to it but very modern, I must admit it is beautiful. Most likely 5 million dollars was spent on this office along and that is just chuck change for them, just money to show off that whoever they are they are someone of importance. I walk up to the desk the black leather chair is turn, I walk up to the one black leather chair at the desk and stand next to it.
