There's a huge bulky wool letter-sweater that's far too warm to actually wear inside here for very long, pom-poms, short white socks, saddle shoes, a sequined front-hook bra, super-skimpy white cotton panties that are actually a couple of sizes too small and barely cover the essentials, and a skirt. Just a hint of a skirt, really. It's not much more than a strip of material about the size of a deck of playing cards. It's so short that I don't even bother to take it off and nobody has ever said anything. This outfit is the main reason I've been able to pay the rent, and it always plays well to the crowd. Tonight is no exception.
When my sets are done it's not a huge amount of tips, but it's enough to where I'm not behind.
After I shower and get all the the smoke and sweat out of my hair and I'm changing into my street clothes, Kendra asks if I'd like to be her second in her closing 'kitchen cook' finale. It's her girl-girl number that starts with just heels, g-strings, aprons and big wooden spoons. There's some playfulness with the spoons and of course the aprons come off at one point. The closer is when the girls end up pouring peanut oil onto each other and, let's be frank, wrestling. It's always good for tips, even when you consider the extra cleanup work after.
The closing act here is always a two-girl set, and Kendra is always one of them. She takes great care to not play favorites and offers everyone their chances.
