I placed two small disks the size of quarters on either side of the
juncture of my spine and skull. I then looked at the inch square cube I held in
my right hand, wondering momentarily if I was actually going to use it or

I slipped the cube n the machine, lay back and mentally activated the
neural interface. The world faded to featureless blue.

WAIT" appeared in the air before me. After a few seconds, I saw
"INTERFACE COMPLETE -- BEGIN SESSION? YES/NO" hover before
my eyes.
Taking a deep breath I said, "Yes."

I was presented with a series of menus from which I selected the

running.

The blue background faded to a scene consisting of a tasteful foyer
decorated in expensive oil paintings and lots of oak.
I looked down at myself and saw that I had assumed the form of the
avatar I had created. The breasts looked a little bigger than I expected, but
looking in the full length mirror provided, I decided I looked alright. I was
wearing a black sheath dress that went down to mid thigh, dark stockings,
three inch heels, and a silver charm bracelet around my right ankle. Diamond
studs glinted from my earlobes, and pearls hung around my neck. Red satin
lipstick coated my lips, the taste familiar to my tongue. I had a rather unusual
gold watch on my left wrist. It was counting down from six hours, my time
limit for staying logged on. My nose caught the scent of vanilla, and I
thought of my perfume. It smelled perfect on me here; in the real world it
smelled awful. Male chemistry I guess.
I knocked on the door in front of me and it opened to reveal a very
large room full of all kinds of beautiful women. Women and girls of all ages,
all sizes and all races. There were women dressed much as I was, women in
leather and chains, women much shorter, taller, older, younger and in every
way different from me.
And very much the same.
We all had one thing in common, our desire to let our inner hidden
woman out for a night. We wanted to socialise with other ladies like
ourselves, other ladies who were men when they weren't here.
After being introduced by my hostess, I looked around and said, "Hi,
I'm Melissa. Thank you for allowing me to join, You have no idea how
happy this makes me."
I was surprised by the feminine tone of my voice.

feel. You're welcome here as long as you wish to stay. I'm Mandy,

hostess. She gave me a sincere hug and turned to address the room.

Melissa,"said Mandy.
And you know, over the next six hours every last lady in that room
made the time to stop and give me a hug or a peck on the cheek and a kind,

'I'm home,' I thought to myself, a tear coming to my eye. I made
sure to stop on the way out and thank Mandy.

I hugged her, picked up my purse and walked out the door. Into my
outside life.
I looked into the mirror in the foyer and saw a young woman, myself,
staring back at me.
I smiled and said, "Terminate Session."
