Tokens: A Second Chance By Bashful What can you say about James and Lonny? They were best friends, they were nice guys but they were?losers. It wasn't their fault and maybe 'losers' is a harsh word. They were less than attractive, not ugly, just not good looking. Geeky was a word commonly associated with the pair. Had things gone differently, with a few more years to mature, maybe they would have been acceptable looking guys. But fate has a way of stepping in at times and changing things around when you least expect it James was the president of the computer club and Lonny was the vice president of the chess club. Not very good credentials for making points with girls. The two boys were interested in girls, very much so but no girl was interested in them. You may know guys like our heroes here, hell, you may have been a guy like our heroes, or not. James and Lonny were in their senior year of high school. They were fast approaching the last big chance for a decent set of memories to take with them on to college, the senior prom. Of course they had no dates. They could go to the dance but it would be like all the other dances they had gone to without dates, listening to the music and drinking bad punch or lukewarm sodas. Lonny had gotten both their hopes up. Lonny's girl cousin from another city was coming to visit with her mother and bringing a girlfriend along for company. They had promised that they would go to the dance with Lonny and James. Lonny dating the girlfriend and James taking Lonny's cousin. Just before leaving for the trip, both girls came down with chicken pocks and never got to town. Lonny was crushed, James was more pragmatic, he suspected something would go wrong. He didn't know what but it always did. While I may have felt 'losers' was a harsh word, James felt it fit them very well. They had a few friends and they got good grades but in the game of life and love, they were losers, pure and simple. He was seldom disappointed in life, he knew things would get worse if they possibly could and they usually did. James was walking over to Lonny's place to play some Tomb Raider IV when he found the token. James found a lot of things on the ground because he was always looking down. It was a simple brass token like you might get at an arcade. That was what James thought it was an arcade token. He slipped it into his pocket, planning on using it when he got to the mall next. He trudged onto Lonny's and they spent the next few hours running Lara Croft through her paces. They also talked about how much they would like to have one night they could remember for the good time they had. "What I wouldn't give to walk into the prom with a date on my arm that paid attention to me all night and never wanted to dance with someone else. Someone who would kiss me goodnight and tell me what a great time she'd had and how she hoped we could do it again sometime, and mean it," Lonny said. "Me too, even if she'd just shake my hand and say thank you and really mean it. They wouldn't have to be babes or cheerleaders, just dates who really wanted to be with us," James said. "Hey, toss me your pocket knife, I need to cut this loose string off my jeans," Lonny said. James pitched the knife to Lonny. Captured in the slot between blades was the token James had found on the sidewalk. "What's this?" Lonny asked. "Just an arcade token I found," James said. "It doesn't look like a token, it says 'Good For One Wish' on it. I've never seen any tokens like this before. Wouldn't be neat if it really was good for a wish. I know what I'd wish for." Lonny was holding the token in his hand as he finished his unspoken thought. Lonny felt the token suddenly get very warm and then it began to get hot. He opened his hand to let it drop to the floor before his hand was burned. As it fell towards the carpet, the token turned white hot and vanished in a flash of bright, blue-white light. "What the hell was that?" James exclaimed, then he grabbed his throat. "My voice, Christina, what's wrong with my voice?" "What did you call me?" Lonny said. "I called you Christina, wait your name is, is?Christina, OH SHIT! We're girls!" And they were, Lonny, now Christina was a tall, lovely blonde with a very impressive set of breasts, very impressive. They were the kind of breasts that would make it difficult to see a chessboard if they were on your own chest. They would also make concentrating on a chessboard more difficult when they were adorning the chest of your opponent. James was now Mallory, a cute and curvy brunette with large brown eyes and full lips. Christina was sexier but Mallory was no slouch, neither girl would be ignored by any normal male. "I just wished that we had dates for the prom then the token got hot and then it sort of exploded," Christina said looking at her new body and licking her lips, tasting the lipstick there. "Look!" Mallory said, pointing to the computer they had been playing Tomb Raider on. The monitor now had a picture of Mallory with red hair and garish makeup. It was the Cosmo 'Virtual Makeover' program the girls had been experimenting with. "I remember now, we were trying new looks for the prom, something different to make us stand out. You got silly and make me look like a hooker. Christina, we're women now and we do have dates for the prom, male dates. You're the head cheerleader and you're going with the captain of the football team and I'm the senior class vice president and the class president is taking me," Mallory said. "My wish came true, but I didn't wish us to be girls, I just wanted to have dates for the prom, nothing more," Christina said. "Wait, maybe after the prom we'll change back. You wished that we had dates for the prom and now we do. I bet the morning after the prom we wake up as Lonny and James. This may be fun, I mean, we know who we are and how to be girls, we just remember being the guys we used to be as well, mostly. I do anyway, do you?" "Yes, I know I was in the chess club but I can't remember playing chess as a girl so I guess that's different. I do remember how to cheer though. I'm not sure I like this, do you have another token?" Christina said. "No, I don't. C'mon Christina, when are we going to have this chance again? I know that we're not guys right now but we're still best friends and we're not losers any more. Let's try it out. The prom is just a couple of days away and then we change back, I'm sure of it. I'm going to enjoy myself until then, how about you?" "Okay, but this is your idea, I'm just going along for the ride. Why am I wearing a short skirt and you're in jeans that aren't even very tight?" Christina asked Mallory. "Because you have much better legs than I do and you like dresses and skirts more than I do, that's why." "You're right, you hardly ever wear skirts or even tight jeans. You're still the smarter one. I just realized I'm not a virgin anymore, how about you?" Christina said, blushing slightly at the thought and memory. "I'm?not a virgin either but I've only done it once. Then it was with the boy who's taking me to the prom. He's a nice guy but I don't seem all that interested in sex with him. What about you, how many times have you 'done it'?" Mallory asked. "Uh, lots?I don't seem to keep count but I only do it with the guy I'm seeing, I don't sleep around. Oh my God, I give blowjobs!" Christina said with a reddening face. "Yes, you do, I remember you telling me about the first one you ever gave. It was the guy's first too and it only lasted a few seconds before he came. I remember we laughed about that for an hour. Christina, we have lives as these girls and they're not bad lives. What if we stayed this way, would that be so bad?" "I don't want to think about that. I just want to go back to being Lonny on Saturday morning. But for now I'll play at being Christina. So is this the look you want? Because if it is, we're going to need some hair color and lots and lots of lipstick." The two girls laughed about the horrid face they had constructed for Mallory. They decided that they really didn't need new looks, just new shoes, so they went shopping. The night of the prom came and they both had great fun. Mallory and Christina's dates were attentive and spent the entire evening with them. Each girl chose to make love that evening, not wishing to pass on the opportunity to see what it was like from the girl's viewpoint. Both girls enjoyed themselves with their partners as well. At their front doors, both girls were kissed good night and their dates both said they hoped they could do it again sometime and they meant it. After going inside, the girls ran to their rooms and called each other to discuss the evening. They stayed awake until nearly 4am talking and laughing like normal teenaged girls after a big date. The next morning Mallory woke up and realize she was still Mallory. She grabbed her bedside phone and called Christina who answered groggily. Mallory was a morning person, Christina was a night owl. "We're still girls," Mallory said. "I know, what are we going to do?" Christina said. "I don't know that we can do anything. We're girls now and we will be for the rest of our lives, I guess. Unless one of us finds another wishing coin. If you do, remember that we need to make the wish very specific. Just wishing to be boys again might turn us into babies or old men," Mallory said. ****************************** Our heroines went on to graduate from high school but their lives took different paths after that. Christina decided to become a model and actress so she skipped college. Mallory went to college and majored in Political Science with an eye towards politics. In Mallory's junior year, Christina called her and invited her to go to Las Vegas with her for the weekend. "I'd love to go, we never get to see each other any more but I don't have the money," Mallory said. "It's my treat or I should say it's Kyle's treat," Christine said. "Who's Kyle?" "The man I'm going to marry this weekend," Christina explained. "Married, you're getting married? I guess you've given up on finding another token?" Mallory said. "Token? Oh, yes, I guess I have. I've been so busy with my career that I hadn't thought about it much. Then I met Kyle and he has a knack for making me forget a lot of things, if you know what I mean. How about you, are you seeing anyone special?" Christina said. "No, I'm not that unhappy I guess but I still miss being a guy. I'd go back to being one today if I found a token. What about you, if I found a token, would you go back?" "Probably not. So you're coming with us, right? I've already prepaid your ticket, just go to the airport and it'll be waiting for you. Kyle's brother is going to be best man and you're my maid of honor. I don't suppose you have a dress that would look proper for a maid of honor, do you?" Christina said. "No, I don't. I don't buy girly clothes if I can avoid it. I have a nice white pants suit, how about that?" Mallory offered. "Nope, I want you in a pretty and feminine dress, it's my wedding. Please, I'll buy you one in Vegas. Have a good trip, I'll meet you at the airport there." Christina hung up before Mallory could argue anymore. Mallory looked in her closet at the tailored pants suits and relaxed fit jeans. In the back of the closet were a half dozen dresses that Mallory pulled out. In the three and a half years since she became a girl, Mallory had found she had to make some compromises to get along as a woman in the new millennium. She wasn't comfortable talking to anyone about it, not even Christina, but she found as time passed, she was accepting her new gender more and more. She had tried going without makeup and it drew more stares and comments than if she wore a moderate amount. She found she did look better with a little blush and lipstick so she wore it. Her hair wasn't very long but it was cut in a feminine style that fit her well. She found that she liked the looks of shoes with a little bit of a heel. She didn't like skirts and dresses though. They required she shave her legs and wear hosiery. She didn't want to do that so she wore pants and jeans most places. She didn't date except when a friend talked her into double dating with her. She never kissed these dates if she could help it, it just made problems later. She didn't want a relationship because they had a way of turning into marriages. She wasn't ready for a husband and children and might never be. On average, once a month or so, Mallory had an 'itch' that she had to have scratched. She had to make love to a man. If she didn't, she got? bitchy, there was no better way to describe it. Usually it came just before the start of her period and if she didn't appease this personal demon, she would become almost unbearable to be with. Her girl friends would recognize the signs and stay clear until they saw her smiling again. Mallory had tried masturbation, a dildo and even sex with a woman once. Nothing killed the desire but doing it with a man. This bothered her more than anything else did. She also noticed lately that the time between her 'itches' was getting shorter, she was looking for relief more often So Mallory had several 'man hunting' dresses as she called them. They were all short with low cut necklines and much tighter than any of her other clothes. She would find a fraternity party and usually some jock with a room temperature IQ would satisfy her carnal cravings for awhile. She used both birth control pills and condoms to make sure she didn't have any accidents. Mallory found that once she wearing one of her man hunting dresses and she was made up and perfumed that she was a willing participant in the event. She really enjoyed herself for the hour or so it took to douse the fire burning inside her. When it was over though, she wished it hadn't happened. No matter what, she was a still a guy at heart. She looked at her dresses and shook her head, none of them would do and she wouldn't allow Christina to see her in one of them anyway. She still hoped that one day another token would come into her life and she would become James again. The flight was uneventful and she landed in Las Vegas on a warm spring day. Christina met her and they drove to a mall to shop for a dress. "I brought that pants suit I mentioned. Why not let me wear that and save the time and money?" Mallory said. "No, Mallory, I know we weren't born girls but we have the memories of growing up. I want as traditional a wedding as I can get. I just want my maid of honor in a pretty dress for the photos. You'll only wear it for a few hours then you can put it in your closet. Maybe you'll be invited to a tea party with the queen one day and you'll wear it then," Christina said with a grin. They selected a white dress with a pink and blue flowers print and lace at the neckline, it resembled Christina's except hers was solid white. The dress hung to well below Mallory's knees. She had brought a pair of three inch white pumps to wear with it and Christina bought her some white panty hose. She had shaved her legs before getting on the plane. She dressed in the fitting room and wore the dress out of the store. "Mallory, you look beautiful. I've never seen you look better, not even on that prom night. Thank you for doing this for me, I'll never forget it." the two women hugged and Christina wiped away a few stray tears. "I'm so nervous, I never thought I'd be getting married to a man. But he's a wonderful man and he makes a very good living. I'll keep modeling until I begin to show, then I think I'll retire," Christina said. "Start to show? Are you pregnant or just hoping?" Mallory asked. "I'm two months pregnant, I was afraid to tell you on the phone." Christina looked around to make sure that couldn't be overheard. "Mallory, as Lonny, I wanted to be a woman as long as I could remember. I think I included some of that desire in that wish I made three years ago. I'm sorry you got caught up in this too but I'm happier than I ever thought I could be. I hope you find a way to be happy too, someday," Christina said. Mallory wasn't too stunned by the revelation. She had known Christina was very happy as a woman ever since they graduated from high school. She hadn't known about the life long desire to be one but now it made sense. "I'm happy that you're happy. You make a beautiful bride and I'm sure you'll be a wonderful mother," Mallory said as she hugged her friend again. "Shall we head back to the hotel and meet up, with the boys? Kyle wants to buy us a fancy dinner before the ceremony. Afterwards, you and James can do whatever you want to, we have plans for the evening." Christina winked at Mallory, which brought a laugh. "Wait, James? Is that his brother's name?" Mallory asked. "Yes, quite a coincidence, isn't it?" James was just as handsome as his brother Kyle was. He was sitting at a table by himself as Kyle discussed something with the concierge. He was scowling at something and had his arms crossed across his chest. He looked to be a couple of years older than Kyle. Mallory supposed that he might be jealous that his younger brother beat him to the altar and with such a beautiful girl. Mallory went over and sat with him. Christina stood next to Kyle, her arm hooked in his. "Hello James, I'm Mallory, it's nice to meet you." Mallory decided that she would try to cheer James up. She loved Christina like a sister and she wanted her wedding day to be as perfect as possible. "Hi Mallory, Christina's told me a lot about you. I think she wants to pair us up. I just wanted to let you know that it's not my idea. I think you?re a very attractive woman but I'm not looking for any kind of a relationship right now. I don't want to sound rude, but I felt it would make things easier if we got that out of the way," James said without looking directly at Mallory. "James, let's get something straight. I don't want any kind of a relationship either but if you make a scene and spoil my friend's wedding day because you're in a bad mood, I'll kick your butt up around your shoulders and I can do it. I don't know what your problem is and if we have time later, I'll be glad to discuss it with you. For right now though, I want a smile on your face. Your brother and my best friend, the one person I'm closest to in this life, are getting married. It's the most important evening of their lives. Now, grow up, get over it, do whatever it takes but please, at least fake being happy for a couple of hours." Mallory said this in a low, stern voice but with a very convincing smile on her face. James looked at her with wide eyes and then he smiled a genuine smile. "You're right, I'll be good and thank you, I needed someone to say that to me." James held out his hand. "James Franklin, it very nice to meet you Mallory." "Likewise, I'm sure," Mallory said with a sly grin. She had succeeded, she hoped. James would be a good boy. Maybe if he were a very good boy, she'd let him scratch the itch she had found to be developing since she put on this dress. Dinner was a great deal of fun with James and Kyle trying to outdo each other with tales of their childhood's most embarrassing moments. Christina and Mallory did the same, some of their moments were memories that really didn't happen but they could recall them clearly. Some were the same things they had experienced as boys others were new. It was fun no matter what though. When they had finished and it was time for the wedding ceremony, Christina got pale looking and her hands shook. "You can change your mind, it's okay, don't do something you don't want to, Christina," Mallory told her quietly. She saw the look on her dear friend's face. "I'm not scared, I'm excited. I can't wait to be Mrs. Kyle Franklin," Christina said. When they got to the wedding chapel in the hotel, they found they had half an hour until the Justice of the Peace was free. Kyle gave everyone $50.00 in quarters and proposed a challenge to see which team of two could win the most in fifteen minutes. The winning team got all the money. Mallory and James won. It was time for the wedding so they dumped all the change into a bucket until after the ceremony. Mallory found herself crying at the sight of a radiant Christina pledging herself to Kyle. James was sniffing as well. Christina made a joke of handing the bouquet to Mallory as the couple left for their honeymoon suite. "Well, shall we divide our winnings, I'll buy you a drink and if you play your cards right, maybe I'll show you my tattoo," Mallory said with a wink. She definitely had the itch and James was looking better all the time. "I'll take you up on the drink for sure," James said. Mallory looked at him, she wasn't conceited but she had never had a man turn her down before and she thought that's what just happened. James and Mallory set down at an empty tale and began stacking quarters and chatting. A waitress took their order for drinks and told them the change cage would count the coins for them but they wanted something to do with their hands while they talked. Two drinks and nearly $300.00 in quarters later, James was loosening up. "Mallory, you?re a damn good looking woman, why aren't you dating someone? Christina wouldn't have tried to match us up if you were." "It's long story James, I don't date much. Maybe after I finish college. I'm trying to make something of myself first, you understand, don't you?" Mallory said. "Sure, lots of time for a husband and kids later, that's my plan." Mallory wasn't sure she understood what he meant, he might be drunker than she thought. "Say, what's this? It's not a quarter, it's a slug or something," James said looking closely at the coin. Mallory felt a chill run down her spine, she could tell from where she sat that what he held was a token, a wishing token. "Can I see that?" she asked, reaching for the coin. "Just a second, let me read what it says. 'Good For One Wish', HA! A wish, right. Let's try it out, I have a wish, I wish I was getting married and was going to be as happy as my brother." "NO!" Mallory reached for the coin but it was too late. James opened his hand as the coin grew warm, then began to glow before vanishing in a flash of white light **************************** Mallory closed her eyes as the coin flashed out of existence. She knew when she opened them again she would find herself in love with James and maybe even already married. 'What the hell,' she thought, 'I was heading in this direction anyway. The way things were going, I'd have been dating guys regularly in another few months. This just gets it over sooner. I hope he's a nice guy.' Mallory opened her eyes and looked at?herself! "What just happened?" Mallory asked the girl in front of her. The girl looked at her hands and the pale pink polish on the manicured nails of the slim, feminine hands, the breasts pushing the front of the dress out. She licked her lips and tasted the lipstick. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do this to you, I didn't know the wish would work." the girl said. "What?" Mallory looked down at herself and discovered she was now James! "What did you wish?" the new James said. "I wished that we were getting married but I thought that I would like to be the bride. I?I've felt like I should have been born a woman most of my life. I'm so sorry, I've stolen your wonderful body. I don't know how to fix this, please forgive me, I didn't mean to do this to you. Why are you laughing?" The new Mallory said. "Let me tell you a story?" James told her about the last three and a half years of his life as Mallory. "It must have been rough, being stuck like that." Mallory said. "It wasn't as bad as it could have been. How do you feel about what's happened to you?" James asked. "I think I'm going to love it, I think I already love you. I seem to remember our having dated for over a year and in fact?" "Are you two ready? We just had our pictures taken and it almost time for your ceremony, last chance to back out big brother," Kyle joked. James could recall meeting and romancing Mallory. He recalled their courtship and the decision to get married at the same time Kyle and Christina did. Even though he could recall asking the question before, he wanted to make sure this new woman had the opportunity to change her mind. James reached for Mallory's hand. "Mallory, will you marry me and be my wife, my friend, my lover and the mother of my children?" "Yes James, I thought I'd never be asked." they embraced and kissed while Kyle and Christina looked on. "You'd think they just met or something," Kyle said. "C'mon you two, the Justice of the Peace won't wait forever, you can kiss later and do other things too. We want to stand up for you like you did for us and then we have plans for the evening," Christina said with a grin. "Well so do we, let's go," James said. The End

Tokens No More Mister Nice Guy

Tokens: No More Mister Nice Guy By Morpheus Dennis fought back the tears as he hurried down the sidewalk, hoping that no one saw them. He grimaced, pausing just long enough to punch at the side of a tree to unleashed some of the pain inside of him, then almost immediately felt guilty for doing so. Though Dennis was not bad looking, he was not extremely attractive either. Instead, at 5 foot 11 and 29 years old, he was average. He was the type of person that one seldom...

Instant gratification. That’s what most people want these days. Thanks to instant communication with email, instant shopping online, instant pornography too, we all want exactly what we want, exactly when we want it.That’s what made things so frustrating. Much as I don’t want to admit it, my middle-aged brain has been re-wired to operate in the modern era of instant gratification. She made me wait.I had clicked the “send” button and sent my video clip to my foreign correspondent. Second Chance

I had been crying, on and off, for more than an hour. When Janie told me she wanted a separation I was hurt and confused. We had been married five years and true, it wasn't as good now as it was in the beginning. For one thing, we rarely had sex anymore and if we did, it was quite routine. When we first met and starting dating, everything was great. We did lots of stuff together and had sex all the time. We were so good together, that I had the confidence to tell her about my...

Secondment

When my mistress informed me that she would be going away on a business trip for several months I was secretly quite pleased at first, until she informed me that I would be staying with a friend of hers; Mrs Chappell. The dread set in, I knew any friend of hers would not bode well for me. My thoughts turned to my recent dealings with another friend of hers, Miss Allison and I inwardly shuddered. I was not told when she would be going, but about three weeks later, on the appointed day,...

The DilemmaChapter 3 Bonnie Chancelor

So they want me to write down why I was so angry with Mum. Well what I said at Friday breakfast was part of it but there’s more. This is all my own writing. Jen helped me in a few places but mostly she said it was better if it was my own writing. I know I’m not as good at writing as some people but I try really hard and I think I’m getting better. Jen said I still have some things to learn about grammar so maybe I’ll ask Miss Little to teach me more grammar. I feel sorry for the boys who...

The DilemmaEpilogue Gareth Chancelor

I was sitting back in my easy chair in front of the TV. There was a nature program running which was mostly interesting until the need to rest my eyes became more important. So, I was sitting back in my easy chair resting my eyes when... “Hey Dad,” said a voice and a weight lowered into my lap. I blinked my eyes a couple of times to adjust to the light in the room and grinned at my younger daughter. “Hey Bon, sweetheart. What’s up?” I asked. “Nothing major,” she said and wrapped her...

Thanks P. for help with editing the story. SECONDHAND Another uneventful gray day of my life was coming to an end, and I had just closed the door and turned off the light at the back of the shop when there was a frantic knocking. Alices Second Childhood Alices Second Chance

Alice’s Second Chance, Alice’s second childhood.   PART 1   Mom was a good woman. Dad is a good man. Yet my little sister, Alice was, by age 18, a total spoiled brat and a delinquent. She could easily also have ended up being a killer. It is certainly arguable that she deserved to be sent to jail.   Now Mom did not believe in hitting children and she did not. She did, however, understand that the word ‘NO’ needs to be...

Second Chances

Second Chances By: Malissa Madison Denise wasn't sure who the strange man sitting down the street from the house was, or why he was watching her. But it made her nervous, was he some kind of molester or other kind of Pervert? It wasn't the first time she'd seen him either. She'd mentioned it to her older sister Patricia, who'd looked at the man curiously then said, "Don't worry Sis he's harmless," just before the bus arrived to pick them both up for school. This morning she stood...

The Second Chance

A Second Chance This story is a reboot of a storyline I had going on another site years ago, called "My Life. It was another story close to my heart, because most of the first part of it is autobiographical. The second part is how I wish it had gone. I am going to do it in one part, instead of multiple chapters last time, which I never finished. My name is Tanya. It wasn't always, and it almost never was, but sometimes life is funny. It can turn on the littlest moments. ...

Mannsborough Tales 3 Svetlanas Second Chance

Svetlana didn't even glance up when the doorbell rang. Despite the fact that he left her alone all but three or four days out of the month, Karl liked the illusion that she was completely helpless and, without him around, would soon starve or go mad due to her inability to perform even the simplest of tasks, like opening doors or turning on the television, for herself. For the most part, Sveta was happy to humor him. After all, he let her stay in this fairly posh apartment and asked so little...

Second Chances

I always hear the term "dirty old man" referring to a lot of older men that gawk at pretty young girls. Well, no one ever really mentions "dirty old woman" although there are a lot of us out there. I am one of them myself. Here is my dirty little tale. It was that one summer that changed everything. My husband had died earlier that year and I was left alone in our small country home. My daughter Caroline had just met a wonderful young man whom she would be marrying. Caroline had a very...

SecondChances Chapter 23 La Vie en Rose

It was already dusk when I got into my car. The radio was still on. Chumbawamba's "Tubthumping" was playing. "How appropriate" I thought to myself. The Radio gods must be telling me something. I pulled out of the driving singing, "I get knocked down, but I get up again. You are never gonna keep me down..." As I drove, I rehearsed what I'm going to say to Chase. I'm going to tell him the truth. Well - a variation of the truth. I won't mention time travel or future events. I certainly...

Second Chance

Second Chance By Julie O. Edited by Robert Arnold Chapter 1 (Sometime in 2008) In many ways it started off as very typical day. I arrived home from a long day at work, and after greeting Max the cat at the front door of my condo, I sorted through the day's mail. For the most part it was the usual collection of bills, magazines, and junk mail. However,...

A second chance

A Second Chance Author's note: This little story is a tribute to one of the first authors of trans fiction I ever read. I hope you like it I thought I was finished, that my life was over. Little did I know that I would get a second chance on the day I died ..... On the day of my death, I was having a solo picnic in a secluded park on the outskirts of town, trying to pretend like life was wonderful. I was in what would have been a pretty and fashionable dress a couple of decades...

A Cuckolds Second Chance

The story of my journey from being a nice girl to a slut in high school, and then finally marrying one of the boys to make him my cuckold husband should be both interesting and stimulating to you. Second Chance, By Armond "I come bearing gifts," she said, holding up a white sack. "We had a bunch left over, and I hated to see them go to waste." "Chocolate chip scones? Gina Strega, you are sinful," Marita said, peering in the bag. She grabbed the one with the most chips and bit in; crumbs tumbled down her white blouse. SECOND CHANCES

One of my classes is critical to all students graduating high school. They must get a passing grade or else they cannot move on to whatever awaits them beyond the hallowed halls of the only high school in this county. It is English after all, our native language. I moved here from the city because I wanted peace and quiet. I had thought that maybe my experiences would be different. But I see the same amount if not more students just squeak by or drop out. Then they go on to local farms thinking...

Kaitlyn was always on my mind, wanting to see her, almost needing to see her, I continued to visit the Starbucks where she worked. There still seemed to be some tension and even though I tried to flirt with her, our interactions were strictly business. I didn’t think anything at first, figuring it was...

With words flowing mysteriously from her pen, Vera was finding them both innate and yet foreign, like a thing already known and yet at the same time strangely revelational. Like most high school sweethearts, Gail and I had dreams and plans. We would go to the same college, settle down, get married, and have kids. Things just didn't work out that way. For a start, we were approved for different colleges. Of course, we pledged to stay together and continue our relationship and we did that for several months. But, little by little, the calls and texts dwindled to a few — then none. Despite wanting it to work, our deepest fears were realised and our relationship fell...

BurrChapter 71 Giving Cindy A Second Chance

Room Leader Laredo noticed the change between Spence and me before anyone else, thank goodness. He took me for a walk on Sunday night so we could have a private talk. "You've already made a lifelong enemy of Lester. You're going to be a leader; you can't go on this way. I don't care what you have to do to make amends with Spencer Freeman, just do it," Orlando Laredo said to me. What could I say? I knew that he was right. A Second Chance

The time had come. An entire lifetime of years blurred together in the span of a few minutes as you lay fading away on your death bed. Your breaths came short and labored, as if an insurmountable weight remained perched upon your chest. What was once vibrant skin had turned gray and gaunt, cursed by the leather of your elder years. Surrounding you was your family, at least those who wanted to be with you in your final moments. Your spouse sat closest, clutching your emaciated hand in theirs,...

A Second Chance By Mister Double-U Howard Elton sat in his prison cell as he had for the past 30 years. The face of the young girl he brutally murdered stared from his mind's eye. Her delicate features; bright blue eyes, short brown hair, and angelic face. Then the look as he sliced her throat; those blue eyes filling with tears, her short brown hair covered in blood and her angelic face frozen in a mask of horror. Howard Elton cried at this thought from 30 years ago. He cried often...

Yet, the entire household was waiting for them wanting to hear about the birth. Fortunately, Milena had prepared supper, giving Henry and Josie a chance to eat while they related all the events of the day. Josie ate sparingly. A full stomach was not conducive to a good night's sleep and she needed all the sleep she could get. It felt strange for Henry and...

Alyssa’s cerulean eyes seemed to drink in every detail of John’s shocked expression as she waited for his reaction. “What did you do?!” he finally whispered, staring unblinking at the elongated tips of her ears. She hesitated, unsure of herself. “I wanted to do it for you ... It felt like it was time.” Closing the distance between them, John gathered her in his arms and pulled her in for a smouldering kiss. Alyssa’s doubts fell away as she responded to him, moaning into his mouth, the tips...

Seeing June weeping on the bed forced Dan to stop for a moment. He was mad - mad at Ray and mad at June, but he'd given June too many ambiguous signals, so was it his fault? She'd fallen asleep, but it was late and he'd gone out. Dan retreated and met Bob coming out of the shower."What was that paper you gave her?""Here, I'll show you. They were her idea, meant to show me she was faithful; always putting me first." He picked another token off the pile and handed it to Bob, staring at another...

Instant gratification. That’s what most people want these days. Thanks to instant communication with email, instant shopping online, instant pornography too, we all want exactly what we want, exactly when we want it. That’s what made things so frustrating. First Time Disaster and Second Chances

I’m a really terrific liar. It’s a talent. I know it sounds awful. My mom totally grounded me like a billion times when I was in high school, for being a liar that is. My lying is problematic and I worry about it. Sometimes I can’t decide if I’m a “good girl” wrapped up in a “bad girl”, or if I’m a “bad girl” wrapped up in a “good girl”? You decide. But actually I’ve found my lying to be a very useful talent. But that’s another story. I don’t really know why I lie so much. Maybe it’s because...
