The trick here was to do this without getting anyone else killed. That was
going to be tricky as there were too many loaded people with the drug in
their blood stream thanks to mass marketing.
My plan was simplicity itself. Set me up in a club and set the place up so it
can be defended. Let them attack us. But again, we were fighting mind-
controlled innocents. We had to draw out the controlling factor. I still had
now worked out how to do that. These guys had the perfect weapon.
I had to keep stinging them until they decided to do the job themselves.
They had to feel safe doing that, so my legendary second sense had to really
be under wraps.
I had to work in the club, and still sting them. I had to figure out the police
angle. They were just as open to the control as anyone else.
All the booze in the place would be laced with E and even the water had the
stuff in it. IF you came in out place, you got mega doses of E.
We estimated that it took about 3 minutes to neutralize the drug from
ingestion. So everyone was being watched. We had to be careful.
In the meantime, I was going out on the street making myself known. I was
just walking around, doing my normal thing, catching the bad guys and
interfering with the local petty thieves and pickpockets.
Mary Kate was livid over my making myself known. But this was
necessary. We wanted them to keep attacking until they had to send the big
boys to get me.
The local police were keeping hands off approach to the whole situation. I
had this feeling that my good friend had run his mouth. But as long as the
brass didn't find out about it, I didn't care. A few of them even showed up
to check us out, but because we had low friends in high places, no one
bothered us.
I also realized that the brass was watching us closely. I was doing what I
was born to do. Undercover and investigative work. I wish I knew who this
group was.
Now as far as the club was concerned, I was going to be real tame. I was
just going to serve the booze and in general, be one of the wait staff. I was
not going up on stage. I just didn't want to do it. Also, by being in the
audience, I could size up the situations quickly. There was only one
problem, I could be grabbed easily and carried off. That is where the 6th
sense I depended on would save me.
Mary Kate was behind the bar. She just ran the bar and the setups. She
controlled the bar keeps and the manager. I just kept my headset on and
made the drink orders from the headset. If anyone listened in, all they ever
heard was drink orders. We of course, had a code for intruders. It was all
colorful. Including the bar fussing at me for not paying up the tabs. (When
a customer paid up, the waitress would go and give the main bar keep the
collected tab.) That was our code for me to come up and talk to Mary Kate.
No one, I mean no one knew I was the owner and operator of this place. I
went out as me, but inside the club, I was disguised.
The place was off a side street of Royal. Close enough to the main drag
without the problems and high rent. Some of these places rented for 20,000
a month. The government owned this property. That fact was hidden by a
leasing company who appeared as the owner. I, of course, leased the
building for about 10,000 a month.
The world would think that the business was very successful. I had a
manager who would take the brunt of situations. As the owner was this
mysterious individual who didn't want to be bothered with the day-to-day
operations of the club. All he wanted was the cash. Good enough cover for
me. I was just a waitress.
Our opening night was big. We had a stage show, a band, a good dance
floor, and a DJ upstairs. The booze was flowing like a river. Of course,
everyone was getting a full dose of vitamin E. If someone was here to get
blasted, it was only brief thought.
The following night, the phone rang and I answered the usual business
greeting. I got modem tones. I kept silent and just listened. Once the tones
were done, a computer voice told me to pick up a weapon of my choice and
kill the person beside me. I hung up the phone and thought. They are
testing the waters? I will need to do something, but what? Should I do
nothing? They would surely try someone else. Maybe they would send
someone off the street to walk in with a bomb? Maybe they would just keep
sending suicide bombers until we were all dead? The only way I could
approach this was to just do nothing and wait. I didn't have to wait long.
The next night, I saw the guy walk in. He was wearing a trench coat. I felt
the hair on the back of my neck raise. I had a good security staff. I pointed
the guy out and told them to be real careful. He looked like he had a
shotgun or some kind of automatic weapon. He was going to shoot up the
place. My guys were right there the second he opened his coat. He had a
cheap AK47. We disarmed him and took him to the back room. A couple
of stiff drinks and he woke up from the drug induced zombie. We took the
gun, and let the guy go.
We kept doing this. They were sending in one or two a night. They didn't
want to appear too blatant and make it look like a full-scale attack. The
police would then get involved and then there would be investigations and
the whole operations would be found. It was too easy for us to figure out
what was going on, so the cops would soon find it and blow the whistle on
the whole thing. So, caution and diligence was their only weapons.
I kept pointing out and my staff was disarming the zombies. They kept
sending them. One, two and three a night. Always the lone gunman or
some kind of bomber. Then one night, a sub boss showed up. He looked
normal, but was watching us deal with another zombie. He didn't see me. I
was the normal big-busted waitress. I also had changed my look enough to
make myself unrecognizable. They didn't have a clue how their bombers
and zombies were being caught. We even got some of the locals, looking to
try to put us out of business. Because we were dealing with the troubles, we
had a real good rep. In fact, our joint was known as the safest in town.
I just kept pointing out and the staff was disarming the Zombies. No one got
past me. Then one night they stepped it up a notch. They let a local carry in
a bomb. Of course, I spotted it and the security boys grabbed it and got it
out before it blew. Someone was sitting on a remote control and was
watching. One of my guys was hurt. I took real good care of him. In the
meantime, I got the remote guy and took him to the back. He never came
out of the room. Our other security team took him. He got the government
black bag treatment, including the full drug interrogation. We found out
everything he knew about these agents after me. Including the name. WD
industries. (World Domination).
After a while, the attacks stopped. I remained very watchful. They were
trying to figure out the next angle.

Deep in the dingy basement, somewhere in the quarter, World Domination
was meeting again.
"We have tried everything. We can't get past their security. They seem to
know who our people are before they enter the door. We have a security
leak!"
One of the quiet ones looked up and spoke. "I think there is something else
going on here. I think that we are up against someone who has a very high
PSI factor. They are being tagged by Reggie Starr herself."
"That means that Reggie Starr is in the audience, working and pointing out
our attacks."
"Yes, and that means Reggie is right in front of us. She has been there all
along."
"So what do we do?"
"This is obviously a trap for us. So we should do nothing. Let them alone
and go on to something else. Keeping on attacking will do nothing but open
us up to exposure. We should just let Reggie alone and go on with our
work. Sooner or later, Reggie will give up and come after us when we
attack again. Then we can get her."
It was the consensus that they needed to just move on. Reggie Starr was
outside their reach for the moment.

After a few days of nothing going on, we figured out that nabbing the button
man for that bomb was the tip off that we were onto them and that they were
going to figure out a different strategy.
"WDI" as I called them was doing little jobs around, A bank robbery here, a
hijacking there. All not connected, or so we thought. I had learned that this
group does nothing without a reason. Everything was connected.
I was laying down in my bed, thinking about all the pieces to the puzzle and
then, the whole thing opened up in my head. I knew who we were after.
It was 2 am and everyone was asleep. I called the control desk and had the
on call guy call control. The sleepy control called me back, rather upset, but
once I told him what I had figured out and how I had figured it out, he was
noticeably happier. We all had to get together and talk about this one.

Those of you, who have been following the plot, know who we were after.
But what was their problem? Why world domination?
Lets see, these folk were being ostracized and demonized to the point that
none of them could get a job in any normal occupation. They all had to be
club or sex workers. This was not the reason they became women, unless
they had been forced by the mob.
But dominate? No, they were vengeful and spiteful and had figured out a
way to make the rest of us miserable. My job would be to find them. I think
I can do it. The meeting we were all attending was with everyone connected
with the club, and the operation.
To make a long story short, the meeting went something like this. Control
yelled and screamed about why we had not figured out this long before now.
I came up with the peaces of the puzzle and laid them out for the staff. Our
plan was going to have to be how to flush out the group. They were all very
tight knit and there would be no way to get inside. We had to work on their
henchmen, and women. That meant that I would have to stay out of the way
and let others work this. That meant that project T had to come in and work
this.
Project T was happy to help. We were after a group of Transsexuals and
Drag queens who were out to make a mess of the normal world. They all
worked in the quarter, as dancers and performers. They had made their
connections by blackmailing their clients. (How do you think it looks if a
normal married man slept with a She male? Kinky Huh?)
We had to get in there. We had to bring in the Project T people and kick
their beautiful firm assesses. We had to shut them down.
