What's Taking So Long? (Epilog)

I was going to try and sneak my comments into Briana's
story just before she posted them. But I figured that I'd
wait till the end, so as not to spoil her writing. There
are some things that you need to know.
Some of you have probably guessed that I orchestrated
Brian's transformation. And, you are correct. I did know of
his female side before we were married, thanks to his Mom.
She is a real sweetheart. Knowing that he had a feminine
side did something to me; I wasn't sure what it was at that
time. But, I now know. Here are the parts of the story that
she didn't know while she was writing the story, but will
if she reads this.
When I met Brian, I was taken by how he wasn't like most of
the guys that I knew. He was quieter, more caring, and
gentle. When we made love, he wanted to be sure that I
enjoyed it more than he did. In everything, from movies, to
travel, to sex, he always asked, 'What do you want to do?'.
He was what I was looking for in a husband, and I fell in
love. His Mom took me aside one day and told me the story

Over the next few months, Shelly, Cathy, and I had many

I never figured that she would go as far as she did with
the surgery. I had been talking to her Mom on a regular
basis filling her in on what was going on. She wasn't
surprised that he was going the way he was going, but was
as surprised as I was about the surgery. His Mom is a
really cool person, and played the part just perfectly.
One thing Briana never did tell you was about the first
time we had sex after she had recovered from her surgery.
She was very sweet and romantic. When I arrived home from
work, she had a very nice candlelight dinner, a shrimp
appetizer, small filet mignon steaks, and a side of stir-
fried vegetables. Dessert was a small dish of pineapple

wine, and we enjoyed some time sitting on the patio,
watching the rain. We finished the wine, she got up, gently
took my hand, and led me to the bedroom. She had placed
large candles around the room, and must have lit them
before bringing the wine. It was just so romantic.
