Doing serious stories is quite enjoyable. Despite the fact that I'm still in the process of working on a rather long opus, I felt that a break was in order. Recharging the batteries through a little bit of humor has always been a fun tactic for me, so without further ado, I give you my first, and probably only entry into the Spells R Us universe. This particular story was inspired by a description of the card rack in SRU-Trading Cards, and the wizard's fondness for games as described in Holly Potter and the Mists of Avalon. After all, who would enjoy Magic more than a Wizard... Oh, and just so I don't scare anybody off, I don't do a play by play of a magic game. Just enough so that the purposes of the story are served. SRU - Mana Burn By brevdravis "Hey, Denis! We'll meet you back at the room later, Okay?" "Yeah, right. You guys didn't even give me time to eat!" I shouted at the backs of the rapidly retreating group. Acquaintances really, but they had the decency to at least shower regularly, unlike some of the people I had ended up sharing rooms at conventions with. Gamers, by and large, well, mostly large... They tended to have some kind of aversion to soap. Fortunately, this time I had avoided the fatbeards that tended to plague such events. I wouldn't even have done this con if it hadn't been for the Magic tourney. Usually I only did one to three cons a year, whenever I could get a break. However, the last several events, I had entered into the Magic the Gathering tournament. I wasn't even close to breaking into the professional level, but I had consistently won with a deck design that used none of the typical tricks. If anything, my play style had been fairly boring, but it had won. So far this con, I had gotten into the semi-finals. Not bad at all. If I kept up my winning streak I might actually get some notice on the national level. And even if I didn't, the prize money for getting as far as I had might actually pay for more than just the ride out here. It would be nice to be able to actually be able to save up some money and move out of my parents' basement. Seven o'clock on a Friday night and where was I? Sitting alone in a food court, wolfing down a burger with fries. Having nobody to talk to, after the disappearance of my temporary roomies, I pulled my deck from my jacket pocket. Not really a mister suitcase kind of guy, I just brought one deck, plus sideboard to every convention. I was NOT going to mess with a winning strategy. Alright, lucky strategy. Magic was, after all, a game that relied on a great deal of luck as well as thought. Inside their protective sleeves, the cards slipped out of the box into my hands. I wiped my greasy fingers on a napkin, and shuffled rapidly. I cut the deck, taking a bite of my burger, and drew my cards. Perfect hand. Just the right balance of mana and spells. I cut again and again dealt myself a hand. Not as good this time, but easily workable. Chomping on the burger, I smirked, recalling how almost everyone I had played had bitched about my luck in draws. It wasn't luck, just good design. I really didn't want to go back to the hotel room just yet, since it was a good four blocks away, and it was only about seven thirty. I deposited my tray after finishing my meal, and decided that walking around the mall would be nice. It would be a heck of a lot nicer than that fricking Real World marathon that whatshername kept playing. Yes I was sharing my room with a girl, and yes her boyfriend was with her, and no she was not interested, and yes he was big, and no I was not. Malls everywhere in America have taken on a sameness that I really didn't care for. No matter what town I ended up staying in, I could always depend on the local mall having the exact same stores as every other one I had ever been in. At least one chain bookstore, one or two electronics stores, a zillion or so chain clothing stores, and a Spencers. If it was a really cool mall, they might actually have a Friendly Local Game Shop. Most often, they didn't. Chains were rapidly trying to fill that niche too, so far too often I ended up trying to talk shop to a bored sixteen year old with acne and more interest in cars than games. I smiled when I saw the sign for a store that HAD to be a game shop. Spells R Us. Come on, it had friendly local store written all over it. It didn't even fit in with the rest of the mall, typical gamer icon. A little wooden door? I shrugged. Probably was a Thomas Kinkade gallery before, or some other piece of crap arthouse shop. No huge glass windows, but that was typical as well. Right now I needed to talk shop. The little bell rang as I opened the door, peering in. Whoa, was my first thought. The place looked like somebody had tossed about fifteen Chaos Orbs inside and hadn't bothered to clean up afterwards. There was everything in here! A bunch of cleaning supplies dominated one side, followed by racks and racks of uh, junk. I mean it looked like somebody had robbed a few gypsy fortune tellers, followed by raiding a local porn shop, then topping it off by knocking over a toy store afterwards. Costumes, toys, little statues, electronic toys, a couple racks of what looked like wands, a big case of gangsta jewelry intermixed with other stuff, a big dog staring at me... A dog? I blinked as I stared at the large animal eyeing me with a wary glance. I was getting the very distinct impression that this wasn't the FLGS I had hoped to find. I could see a few books in the right size and shape to be game books, and I thought I could see a small rack of cards, but apart from that, I figured I was in the wrong place. "I'll be right with you!" A voice shouted from behind a curtain near the back of the store. I wasn't really paying attention, trying very hard not to stare at the large dog on the floor. I remembered reading somewhere that dogs viewed eye contact as a challenge. "Don't worry about the wolf. He's harmless as long as you are." I was rather amused to see an elderly man walk in. He had a large beard, and was apparently wearing a bathrobe. Oh great, I thought. I get one of those guys who lives in his store. Probably thought he had closed up for the night and I disturbed his washing up in the back. "Uh, thanks." I mumbled, trying to figure out exactly what I was doing in here. Why was I bothering with the FLGS anyway? I could probably find anything I needed at the dealers room. "I assure you, Denis, I have many items that you would definitely be interested in." The old guy spoke again, staring at me intently. I wondered for a moment at how he knew my name, before I remembered that I was wearing my con badge. They hadn't thought to supply name tags this year, so I had appropriated a black marker and written "Denis" very large and in charge across the front of the badge. "Yeah, look, uhm, sorry I came at a bad time, I'll just come back tomorrow." I blustered, retreating towards the door. Now would be my cue to leave. "No time is a bad time for a man with interest in Magic." The guy's cryptic response got my attention. I wasn't sure how he knew that I... "I'm a wizard, now stop with the stupid thoughts, I've heard them all before and you're really starting to get on my nerves. Accept it and let's move on." The uh, wizard spoke rapidly, tapping his fingers on the counter in front of him "Okay..." I shrugged. I'd dealt with a lot weirder stuff in my days at the con. I'd have to tell him the one about the barbarian who walked into Burger King and ordered "MEAT". "I've heard it. And it was funnier when it was a Klingon." Okay, now I was really freaked out. I decided to just shut up and see if he had what I wanted. "Do you carry Magic cards?" I asked hopefully. "Of course I carry "Magic" cards." The wizard replied with a smirk on his face. "I have a few packs that I could part with for retail, if you're interested." "Sure, what have you got?" I smiled moving closer to the counter. Heck, maybe this old goat would have a few rares that he didn't know were valuable. "I have singles." He picked up a binder from somewhere below the counter and slammed it down upon it. The thing was huge! There must have been thousands of cards in it! "And I have starters and boosters." He gestured over his shoulder at a small rack. There were a huge variety of expansions in the rack, but there only appeared to be a few packs of each. Typical for a small operation. "Well, I wasn't planning on building a new deck in the middle of a tourney." I shrugged. It was against the rules, anyway. "What I was hoping was to find some..." "Unlimited." The wizard finished my sentence. The holy grail of Magic. The first BIG release. It had been over ten years, and basic cards from that series were going for beaucoup bucks. I just nodded. "I unfortunately sold out of that particular series months ago. However I do have a few Alpha series that I might be willing to part with for the right price." My jaw hit the floor. If Unlimited was the Holy Grail, Alpha was the equivalent of having sex with Athena. The FIRST release. The one from which the rarest cards went for WAY too much money. "How, uh, how much?" I gasped out, as the old man dropped five foil wrapped packets on the counter. Alpha, unopened. The price for these in today's market... "I can offer you two payment options. First, you can pay standard cost for these. Right off the bat I'll let you know that you couldn't afford it." I nodded. I had expected as much. As he watched my face fall, the wizard held up his hand. "Or, you can play me one game of Magic, and pay retail for em." RETAIL! Three bucks? Fifteen bucks total for cards that couldn't possibly exist? I couldn't wipe the smile off my face as I rapidly nodded my head. "So we have a game then." The wizard grinned, pulling a dark box from under the counter. "Uh, do you mind telling me what colors you play?" I asked, drawing my own deck from my jacket. One game. He didn't even say I had to win! "I play white, blue, green." "Blue, artifact, black." The wizard shot back, before a thoughtful look came across his face. "You do realize that this is a real "Magic" game?" The emphasis on the word magic threw me for a moment. I shrugged, and started to shuffle. "As long as it's a friendly game." I smirked back. "No foul language, no calling anybody else a cheater, and if anyone mentions Pokemon or Yu-gi-oh after I finish this sentence the death penalty applies." "And you agree to be bound by the effects of any spells you cast." The wizard smirked. "If you agree not to cheat by reading my mind." I grinned right back. The answering nod made me a bit more relieved. "Why cheat when it's "just" a game?" the wizard pulled a gold coin from his pocket and flipped it skyward with his thumb. "Tails." I called, happily crowing "play" when the wizard displayed the coin featuring a rather shapely female backside. Nice taste in coins, I thought. The game went swiftly. As usual, my deck did not let me down, allowing me to counter most of what the wizard threw at me with aplomb. After a few rapid turns, I was finally ready to throw down one of my deadliest combinations. "Ready?" I asked as the wizard tossed down yet another card with a shapely woman on it. He must have been using alternate art cards, because I had never seen so many hot chicks in a game. I reminded myself to check on that when I got back to the con. "Okay then, Serra Angel, Creature Bond." This was one of my favorite combos. Serra's were one of the best drawn cards, with a beautiful dirty blonde angel with generous cleavage, holding a sword. Creature bond was a great way to take advantage of the Serra's ability to attack and defend, giving me life whether I was on the offense or on the defense. "Are you sure you want to do that?" the Wizard asked menacingly, his eyes taking on a typical psych out stare. I wasn't buying it, and rapped my fingers on the table. "Done." The wizard smiled again, looked at his hand, and the seven life points he had after my turn. "I concede." The wizard smiled, placing his hand face down on the table. "Oh no, you're going to see my final turn!" I laughed, gesturing towards his hand. The wizard chuckled a little smugly, and picked up his hand again. He played a small ground creature, and placed his hand down. "Are you sure you want to play your next turn?" he asked in a quiet voice. His eyes had begun to sparkle in a manner that wasn't exactly readable. I grinned, pulling a card from my deck. Perfect as always. I grinned, tapping the correct amount of land, before flipping the card around to show it to the wizard. "Divine Transformation." I snickered, before slapping the card down on the Serra Angel. "And you hit me for the exact amount to end the game and call all spells into effect." The wizard laughed. "Huh?" I blurted, staring down at the cards. They seemed to shimmer slightly, and the face of the angel in the card winked at me. I mean winked. An old school, Marylin Monroe wink. "Spells are more than the rules. The spirit of the spells is what is called into effect." Fear ran through me sending shivers of ice up and down my spine. "So, let's see now. You found a creature called a Serra Angel. You bonded with that creature so that spells that affect it affect you. And then you cast a transformation spell upon it." The Wizard laughed again as I stared at the cards. There was a swirling in the air as they seemed to take on a life of their own. They lifted off the table and began to circle me, spinning like a card thrower's projectiles. A pale light seemed to emanate from the cards, bathing me in the radiance. On and on the glow continued until I couldn't see anything but the horrid brilliance. It was then that I felt myself beginning to change. It was not instantaneous, seeming to last hours, but I was sure it was only a few moments. I felt my weight receding, a lightness that I had not known to exist filling my soul. The light extended through me, shining out of my back, and collecting into two feathered appendages. It continued, coursing through my body, reshaping, molding. Every fiber of my being seemed infused with the brightness as I felt myself becoming slimmer, but stronger. I could feel the pulls of weights on my torso, both to the front and the back. Between my legs, well, the light pushed inwards, reshifting my genitalia to a form more pleasing to the ideal of the angels. And then, suddenly the light was gone. I was kneeling on the floor, my breath coming in short intakes. Long golden hair streamed into my vision, which I brushed backwards with my arm as I stood. A resounding crash came from my left, and I looked to see that my... wing... had knocked over a small statuette, which now lay in pieces on the floor. My jacket, I also noted, was shredded, along with the back of the shirt I had been wearing. The shirt. Far too tight, as I looked down to see the rather large breasts upon my chest, straining against the fabric. At least my jeans still fit. "Would you mind putting those things away?" the wizard asked a bit testily. He gestured towards my wings. Still trying to adjust, I concentrated on my back, and to my delight noted that the wings folded back nicely against it. They were still there, just not very obvious. In fact, if I wore a jacket that was large enough, they probably wouldn't even be noticed. But I was a female Angel! This was not a good thing! Almost of their own accord, my hands came up to clasp at my breasts. The feeling was ecstatic, and I gasped in pleasure, before the wizard's annoyed cough brought me back to my senses. "If you don't mind, I have a business to run here. It was a nice game alright, but I'd like to finish our little business." "Wait a minute." I shook my head, trying to clear it. I was still in shock from the rapid change, and needed a moment. "Can't you turn me back?" "I didn't change you. You did it." The wizard chortled, passing me the foil packets. "That'll be Sixteen oh Five, with tax." Numbly I reached to my back pocket, noting the shapely rear that I now had. I pulled out my wallet and handed the wizard a twenty. "But can't you change me?" I whined, as he rang up the sale and handed me my change. "Bad form to mess with someone else's spells. Do it yourself." "Bad form!" My hands dropped to my side before I noticed the rather large sword that was now buckled there. A thought crossed my mind, but was immediately squelched by the warning growl from the wolf. "That's right. A pleasure doing business with you Denise." the wizard laughed again, staring at my chest. "Nice rack, by the way." "But I..." Before I knew it I was walking towards the door. I had no control whatsoever. "Oh, and you might want to fix that jacket before you go anywhere special." The wizard's final words echoed through my eardrums as I opened the door and stepped out into the fluorescent light of the mall. In my hand there were five packs of cards. In my other hand there was my deck. And all over my body, I was female. I couldn't believe what had happened, and turned around to walk right back into that store. It wasn't there. All that was there was a pair of double doors with an emergency exit sign above them. I felt weak in the knees, and breathed deeply, trying to steady myself. Okay, calm down. I opened my wallet, noting the cash in it, but also noting with despair the identification with my face on it. I had already caught a glimpse of the face that I now had. I looked nothing like my old self. If anything I looked like a leggy blonde who had a fascination with medieval weaponry. Well, at least I would fit in alright with the rest of the convention. This wasn't the best situation, but I had to make do. I inhaled, stretching my new body to its limit. I had to think... "Hey, Great Costume." A voice called behind me, and I realized that while stretching, my wings had become extended again, almost of their own free will. They didn't seem to want to be flat against my back. I quickly retracted them, and turned to see a small geeky kid in a Voyager uniform. Trekkies. I groaned. I smiled, what I later realized must have been a dazzling sight, and walked on. I still had everything. Perhaps this was just the impetus I needed to get out of my parent's house. First stop, my hotel room. "But won't she just revert himself with another card?" Danni asked, as she stared into the scrying pool, and the image of the blonde Valkyrie rapidly changing into another jacket. "Not likely. She'd have to have some actual skill in Magic to do so, and she quite obviously never had it, never will." "But she cast those spells in your game." Danni complained, pointing out the obvious flaw in the logic. "Because I lent her some of my magical ability for the game, dear apprentice. If she could find another person willing to cast the right spell, or loan her some magic, she might be able to go back, but why in god's name would she want to?" The wizard admired the extremely shapely form that Denise now possessed. It was a shame really that Denise hadn't cast any mind altering spells, since the body she now inhabited would have been extremely fun to watch. "I could always do it." Danni offered, her gaze still on the beauty who now seemed to be going through a complicated kata with her sword for an appreciative audience of balding males. "Bad form to mess with someone else's magic." the wizard laughed, looking at his latest customer.

SRU Friends are Thicker than Wishes

Here's my SRU anniversary story that I mentioned last week. I had hoped to have it ready for the October 8 anniversary, but fell a little short. Either that or I got a little longwinded ... again. This story is a little different from the others as I've written in the SRU universe in that its also a prequel of sorts to one of my non-SRU stories posted last month. It didn't start out that way, but given some of the characters I needed for this, I think it worked out better. You...

SRU Convention

Just a quick note, this is my first attempt at a transgender story. So all critism will be openly accepted. SRU: Convention by Greg Iacovelli As I walked through the mall looking for a costume to wear to the animae convention I saw the same stuff in every store window, stuff for Halloween. It was October 12, 1998 and my friend agreed to go in costume if I got it for him and he said any costume so I planned to do him over good. I still remember the conversation...

SRU Unreally Real

SRU: Unreally Real By Ran Dandel "Damn!" exclaimed Terry Ralston, as the monitor screen pronounced the words, "Game Over". "Killed again! If I could just get past that level!" This was the tenth time Terry had tried to win his way into the final obstacle in his latest computer game. He stripped the oddly-shaped device from over his eyes, and peeled off the equally-strange gloves. "How's that new virtual reality game, Terry?" asked his roommate, Jim Briggs. "Well, it's...

SRU High School Reunion

This is written for the third anniversary of the SRU universe. It's a little late, but somethings can't be helped. The first story specifically designated as SRU (although I spelled it all out the first couple of posts) was posted to the TSA-TALK mailing list on October 8, 1996. At first, I wasn't sure if I would have the time to write an anniversary story. There was the crossover series with the Altered Fates universe to consider, although that project now looks dead. And I didn't...

SRU Wizards Guest

It's been a while since I did an SRU story and I've missed the anniversary of its creation. This is a sort of sidebar to the SRU-AF crossover I did a while back. That story was the supposedly the beginning of a collaborative collection, but it failed. Maybe this story will help revive it. Or maybe it will just drive another nail into its coffin. But then, I never received much in the way of review one way or the other. Oh well. Those who archive stories freely may do so,...

SRU The Best Possible World

Summary: Kristin was just your average air-headed blonde, who worshipped the ground her boyfriend David walked on. At least she thought she was, until a visit to SRU forced her to confront the painful truth about herself... Notes: The Spells R Us universe, and the SRU wizard, was originated by Bill Hart. Dannie was introduced by another author, DanielSan59 unless I'm mistaken, but has been further developed by authors such as Bashful, Ellie Dauber, and Bill Hart (to name a...

SRU Stargirls Visit

Authors Notes: The mighty SRU universe belongs to Bill Hart, whom I gladly tip my bonnet to in the hopes I'm not breaking anything here. This story contains a few words not seen on TV as well as an object PC people and people with aversion to sexual items would do well to avoid. This is just a piece of fluff filler before I begin my story universe. Stargirl's reply as she walks out the SRU door I've taken from another SRU story, though I don't remember which one. Also, The...

SRU Oldtimer part 2 Second Chances

Intro: Three years ago Pretzelgirl wrote a story called "oldtimer in the SRU universe. It was probably one of the best SRU stories written except for the ending. My apologies if I don't do justice to her work. SRU Oldtimer part 2: Second Chances By Reality Check 'She gasped in abject horror at gnarled, withered hands still sporting long bright pink nails. Her chin widened, sprouting a cracked, weedy, sun-reddened texture. The candy-striper's petite nose exploded into a ruddy,...

SRU The Engagement Ring

Foreword: This is the first story that I have written that I felt worthy of being read by others. Your comments and criticisms are more than welcome. I would like to thank Marina Kelly for her assistance in improving this story from its dry, clinical origins into is readable state. Her stories have been a valuable guide for me. Thank you - Monica Rose. SRU - The Engagement Ring Linda began to tear-up when the wizard told her, "I'm sorry Linda, but I can't do anything...

SRU The Retrun fo the Love Doll

SRU: The Return of the Love Doll By Ran Dandel The Riding Club of the University was one of its most exclusive organizations. It was like a non-resident fraternity. The members gathered there to meet and socialize, and to build their skills at networking. The exclusivity was guaranteed because only the wealthiest students in good standing in their respective cities' Society could become members. Members who graduated were destined to wield great power in whatever ...

SRU The Good Wifes Guide

SRU: The Good Wifes Guide. by Darkside --------------------------- This contains actual extracts from a Home Economics textbook printed in the early 60s. It did the rounds at work a while ago and it just begged to have a story written around it. This is my one and only sojourn into the 'Spell R Us' universe. So I hope you all like it. As an experiment, I've deliberately left much to the imagination. This is more of a covert TG story than most. At was also an experiment in that I...

SRU The Thin Line of Love

Author's Note: This story is a continuation of my previous SRU story entitled "The Love Hate Rule". If you haven't read that, it may help before you read this one, but it is not necessary. This story is pretty much free standing. I hope you enjoy it as much as it's predecessor. ----------------- SRU: The Thin Line of Love By Crunch Andrea Clark had just stepped out of the shower. It was another lost bout of trying fight off the sexual urges she felt. It...

SRU The Contract

Spells-R-Us & The Contract by Bad Irving Standard disclaimer, if under 18 do not read this tale. Actually this disclaimer is just a chance to give some credit, where credit is due. The story "The Reviewer from Hell" by Happyguy was the starting idea for the creation of this story. It is with Happyguy's permission that I take his concept and proceed with my own story. The characters in this story are not a carry over from Happyguy's tale, but, the Spells-R-Us (SRU) characters...

SRU Nicely Backfired

SRU: Nicely Backfired: by Donna-Allyson McCleod (my first attempt at short SRU story) It had all started a month earlier when Shirley Davis had moved into Don's neighborhood along with her older sister Valerie and their estranged mother Sherry. Don Wallace was a senior at St. Mary's Boy's High School at the time. Shirley Davis had immediately caught Don's eye on her first day at the school. Shirley was sixteen and had transferred into the adjoining St. Mary's School for Girls as a...

SRU An Error in Application

Warning: This story contains adult material. SRU: An Error in Application by Fringold Sixfingers Lyle Green had heard several rumors about the 'Spells R Us' shop in the mall. Sense he did not believe in magic, he took the stories as tells of fancy. There was one rumor he was not about to ignore. The best place to buy computer hardware was SRU. Lyle could use an upgrade to keep him competitive. Soon he was outside the shop. Not at all what he was expecting. The store looked more...

SRUAF A Wizards Altered Fate

Author's Notes by Bill Hart This was initially intended to be the second posting of the collaborative crossover set in the 'Spells R Us' and 'Altered Fates' universes written by myself and Raven. However, after finally making contact with Raven, we decided my story could be posted first, with his story becoming a prequel of sorts, instead of the lead in. Before I do anything else I would like...

SRU Well Dressed

SRU: Well Dressed By Bashful Jack Edward Wilson was a relatively happy man. He had a good job and a wonderful wife. They had not been blessed with children yet but that was just a matter of time, he was sure. Jack really enjoyed his job, it was something he liked doing and he was good at it. He worked for a good company that treated it's employees well. You'd think he had the perfect life and you'd be right, except for one little thing. Jack wished he was a...

SRU Hunting Season

Note: This is rather tame compared to the other SRU stories and I took a few liberties with this one. I hope that I don't piss anyone off with it. There is no sex on this one so if that is a deciding factor for you, pass this one by. Please let me know what you think of this story, whether you like or dislike it. I have other stories that I'm working on and hopefully will post in the future. This story may be posted to any sight that doesn't charge a fee. All others must get my...

SRU Pantyhose

SRU: PANTYHOSE BY PAUL G. JUTRAS "Why can't I wear clothes like that." Was the thought that often ran through Chris's mind. Chris was a pleasant twenty-two year old. Anyone who looked at him would think he was a normal boy checking out girls. What he was looking at was the clothes they had on. Clothes he wish he could have on. His mother's side of the family ran a night club and during the early evening he listened to the music and wondered what it would be like to feel silk...

SRU Made for Each Other

SRU: MADE FOR EACH OTHER by Roy Del Frink Leland Welker was strolling through the mall one day when he saw a strange sight. It was an old-fashioned wooden shop called "Spells R Us". He was bored, so he decided to enter on a whim. Leland couldn't believe all the junk in there, and didn't understand what he would do in a place like this. Just then he noticed a short old man behind the counter. He looked at least eighty years old, and he wore an old crimson bathrobe. He asked the...

SRU Half and Half

SRU: HALF AND HALF By Roy Del Frink A disgruntled lady walked up to the counter, holding a paper bag in her arm. "Listen here, buddy," she said to the old man behind the counter, "you sold me a potion that would turn my husband into the next thing I said. I said, 'Change my husband into a Chippendale dancer,' and look what happened!" She placed the bag on the counter, and opened it. The lady pulled out two chipmunks, dressed in tiny top hats, tuxes, and canes. One had a...

SRU Learning French

SRU: Learning French By Demonn Hi, my name is Todd or should I say was Todd. I am, was 5' 10" and maybe just a bit of a geek. I wasn't ugly mind you but I wasn't all that incredibly strong. But that didn't stop me having friends like everyone else. It was a Saturday and like always, I was going to have some fun at my friend's house. I was a simple 15 year old guy, who enjoyed some R&R, when, my high school, Rivers High, was out. I mean who didn't. When I arrived at...

SRU Lovers Knot First Draft

Some time ago, Raven and I collaborated on an SRU story called Lovers (K)Not, which is unfortunately incomplete at this time. Raven created the story idea, basic plot and the main characters, and then asked me to write a rough draft based on the information that he gave me. After I completed the rough draft, I sent it to him, where he polished it up and added quite a bit more detail as well as his own touches. Raven posted each chapter to Fictionmania after he'd finished his...

SRU Paper Dragon

SRU: Paper Dragon By Kim West I wish to thank Bill Hart for creating the SRU Universe and allowing others to have a chance to play in it. The story I have come up with is loosely based on "Puff the Magic Dragon." I hope you will enjoy the following. SRU: Field Trip Jack woke up as he always did. Messed up from a night of partying and binge drinking, with of course the occasional mixture of various drugs. Groggy and clumsily, he got up from bed and looked at his calendar. "A visit to the zoo? Oh joy!" Jack said with a sarcastic tone. He had never thought much of animals in general nor was he going to start to now. What with being a troublemaker in class, this would just be another opportunity to do more trouble, he...

TG: SRU: Too Much of a Good Thing This story has been hanging around on my hard drive for years as a rough draft and I've finally got around to cleaning it up enough to be posted. I have another story which I've only just started working on that might be ready to post soon. Like this one it involves something different than the standard gender swap.
