Okay, so I was walking home from school on the way to my best friend
Ashley's house and we were laughing and goofing off and one thing lead
to another and she gave me a shove. Well it knocked me off balance and
I fell into this HUGE mud puddle, I was soaked head to toe.
We both laughed for a moment and decide to head back to Ashley's (It
was close to the school, I hung out with her there until my Mom picked
me up on her way home from work.) we get into the garage and Ashley
turns around and says,
"Where do you think you're going?"
"Inside, to hang out." I said and walked towards the door.
She stopped me again, "Not in those clothes you aren't my Mom will kill
us"
It's true, Ashley's Mom did keep a really clean house. Almost hospital,
creepy clean. But here I sit, in wet muddy clothes way far from my
house.
"What am I supposed to do?" I said, "I don't have any other clothes."
"Hmm I got an idea," Said Ashley "Come in the door go right in the
bathroom and change and we'll throw your clothes in the wash."
"So my being naked won't bother you?" I said jokingly
"Oh you're a riot!" said Ashley "I'll find you some clothes and there
is a shower so you can wash the mud out of your hair."
So I walked straight in the floor and there was a bathroom right as I
walked in. It must be the bathroom Ashley uses because it's all girl
stuff, the shampoo, the body wash, even the pink scrubby thing.
So once I'm securely in the shower Ashley came in and grabbed my
clothes.
"The stuff for you to wear is in the duffle bag." said Ashley
And with that I was left to myself in the shower, it takes me a long
time to wash my hair since I let it grow out, almost down to my
shoulders. But with the shower done and pull my hair back into it's now
usual ponytail and open the bag.
"ASHLEY!" I yelled.
"What?" she said running into the bathroom, thank god I had the towel
on.
"These are your clothes, the underwear, the shirt, the jeans..." I said
"Well duh, what did you expect? There is me and My Mom, would you like
to dress like a 40 year old woman?" Ashley said
"I don't know but I can't wear this stuff...I'm a bo..."
"Oh c'mon" She said rolling her eyes, "no one is going to know."
"You're right, plenty of guys wear pink panties and hipster jeans."
"They are boy style, and have Superman on them." She said
"SuperGIRL, Ash! I'm gonna look like a freak!"
"Dude look, these are the only clean dry clothes you got. If you want
to get a coffee at Starbucks it's going to be dressed like that."
"Fine!" I said, slamming the door. Ashley and I had not missed a trip
to Starbucks since we were in the 8th grade, I was not about to be the
first one to miss the standing date. As I got dressed I cold feel how
every stitch of clothing was different. Softer, it felt nice. I slipped
on the shirt and zipped up the hood. I walked into the living room, and
saw Ashley sitting in the chair. I walked over and sat down next to
her.
"Hey sorry I yelled, you're right I don't look that bad and it's only
for the afternoon. I'm sorry I can be such a dork sometimes."
She looked at me frowning and a sly grin came across her face. "It's
okay Nate, you've been wanting to get in my pants for awhile, now here
is your chance."
With that I picked up a throw pillow and bopped her on the head. We
wrestled a lil bit and laughed the whole thing off. We were walking arm
and arm to Starbucks without a care in the world.
