The Journey - Episode 4: Galatea free porn video
Notes:
1)This episode advances in the plot line of the post-apocalyptic world,
but you will notice that I'm already implying that the world is
recovering from the tragedies. I am an optimist by nature.
2)The explanation about the drinking water is based on a real experience.
During 2009 Brazil was subject to a power shortage which hit about 80% of
the population (and half the country). The power shortage took about 3 to
12 hours to finish, depending on the place, so it was not that severe,
but after that many houses in S?o Paulo and in other parts of the
country remained for days without water supply, due to the failure of
the pumps. This is a striking proof that our major cities are way out
of ecological balance and if something happens to disturb the
equilibrium they will become very bad places to
live. I read once an interview by Arthur Clark in which he tells he moved
to Sri Lanka after writing a tale about the effects of a new glaciation
era hitting London. I?m not that scared, but I guess in the future I will
buy a country house with a well :-).
The Journey - Episode 4: Galatea

The boat trip to Nitry was the hell on earth. As soon as I laid my feet
into the boat, I started vomiting. The Fisherman looked suspicious at me,
and, even before he considered throwing me off board, I confessed that I
was pregnant. His attitude towards me changed immediately and he started
treating me like some fragile thing, like an old porcelain doll. That was
as disgusting as being thrown off board.
We stopped for the night at the beach of a natural harbor located in a
bay of big island on half way to Nitry. The total length of the trip was
not so large, about 350Km if it were a straight line, but we had to sail
in zig-zag all the time against the constant wind that blew from
northeast direction and this almost tripled the total length, so we
needed two days for the whole trip. For me it was like 48 hours of
torture. I must confess, however, that the landscape was amazing: at one
side we had the ocean, which once was called Atlantic, at the other side
we saw the cloud covered mountains which ran parallel to the whole coast.
The exuberant vegetation covered all areas up to the beaches. Nature had
already claimed back the devastated areas which existed only 200 years in
the past.
I searched for the local monastery moments after we arrived at Nitry. The
port was located at a large island in front of the ghost town of RJan
which could be seen in the distance. As I learned in the ancient
geography classes, Nitry in the past was located at the entrance of a
large bay, but the increased sea level formed a channel isolating it from
the continent.
The local head monk, Dan, recognized my ring and offered his support.
Comparing with Thuangduul he was much too young for such an important
position, but I quickly realized the Nitry monastery was different from
the ones I already knew. I was realizing that my view of the world, based
on my former male life?s experiences as Marek was much too limited. It
was only 22 days after my departure form my village, but it was already
clear to me that the world was very different then what I expected.
We started to look for Laisa's home in Nitry, but this was not easy. It
took us five days to obtain the first information about that elusive
girl. It turned out that she was a "scavenger."
Close to the fall, after the electricity network broke down, the huge
cities like RJan were abandoned in a hurry by the plague survivors.
This was mostly due to the fact that the drink water supply depended
on electrical pumps, which, of
course, could not work without electricity. To complicate things, the
drinking water wells located inside the cities were polluted and unfit
for human consumption. The survivors, therefore migrated to other areas
were clean water was sufficient for the remaining population. In the case
of RJan it was Nitry. After that the famine wars relocated large
populations and contributed to a further decrease in its figures, so the
abandoned Ghost towns became unexplored until very recently. They are now
important sources of relics of the old days of technology. Medicines,
small electronic devices and other useful (or not so useful) gadgets were
recovered by specialized people, the "scavengers." There was a common
prejudice against them, they were considered half-criminals or something
like that, but they were tolerated. I knew about them due to the monastic
school. My own village was located too far away from the ghost towns and
"scavengers" did not set their feet there.
We went to the market and met an old acquaintance of hers. As it often
happened with the local scavengers, she moved about five years before to
RJan. The lady told us it was already three months since she last saw
Laisa, which accounted for the meeting with the demon in the timeline I
was building. It turned out that the ghost town was not so "haunted"
after all, to my surprise. Many people had already moved there, mostly
scavengers, and lived in the old abandoned houses of RJan. The problem
was that these people lived scattered around the town, and fearing being
victims of thieves, they did not usually publish their address. Laisa's
friend, however, knew that she was living at some old house close to the
high cliffs behind the sunken skyscraper forest, in the way up to the old
Christ mountain.
In the mean time, while awaiting for the answers about Laisa's last
whereabouts, I visited Nitry's monastery. It was quite different from
what I was used to. Not that I was an expert in monasteries, I had seen
only the one in my old village and the other in Haltdoor, but I was not
used to the light atmosphere of the Nitry monastery. It seemed that the
monks where enjoying life, something that would be considered an heresy
by Thuangduul. I swear I even saw a monk kissing a girl and I guess that
the monks in Nitry where allowed to marry (at least to have normal sex),
which added to my wonder.
Dan gave me a tour to the whole installations and I realized that the
Nitry monastery was also bigger than the ones I knew. They worked in many
projects and Dan's preferred one was a distillery to produce combustible
alcohol from sugar cane. I was used to distilleries, but the ones I knew
where used to produce a spirit called "caszasa." The difference in the
Nitry process, however, was that the produced alcohol had less water
content, so it burned when subject to a heat source. Their intent was to
use this alcohol in a small scale power plant. They took this idea from
old registers found in the monastery library (Nitry had an university
before the fall and the RJan university was close by, this allowed the
survivors to recover the old books in the migrations). Dan told me that
this kind of solution, together with the use of vegetable oil produced
from soybean and other plants, had been used before the fall, but was
abandoned because large resources of petroleum had been found and, with
the time, the use of the so called "biofuels" was forgotten. I was
impressed. If they were successful Nitry would have large scale
electric power again, maybe
for the first time after the fall.
The population of RJan was already so big that a kind of boat transport
line had been established between Nitry and Rjan. I used this line and
traveled to Rjan's "port." In the way we had to pass through the sunken
skyscraper forest. There where all kinds of sunken buildings, tall,
short... Some where even fully underwater. The conservation state of the
buildings was in most cases pitiful, and some of them had already
crumbled down, almost disappearing. I noticed that the water mark in the
buildings which remained partially above water was about 5 meters higher
than the actual level. I asked about that to the sailor and he confirmed
that the sea level used to be higher in the past but was decreasing in
the last 50 years. I wondered if some day the sea level would return
to the one observed before the fall and which kind of impact would
this have to our new society.
After we reached the shore I disembarked and started to search for
Laisa's place. The ghost town was creepy, most of the old building were
in ruins and from time to time I heard animals hiding from me when I
approached them. Once or twice I had a glimpse of them, they were wild
cats! Fortunately they fled, I was not willing to meet some wild animal
in a dark corner of that lost city. Wild cats were decedents from
conventional house cats which were abandoned after the fall. First they
survived from the equally large rat and mice population left behind by
the decadent society. The cat populations first had plenty food supply,
but as the food (and corpses) began to become scarce, the rat population
could not follow up and this was disastrous to the cat population. This
was a classical example in the ecology classes at the monastery and the
calculation of the equilibrium population sizes was a typical exercise
for 10 year old children.
Some of the writings on the building could still be read. For the first
time in my life I was grateful for the classics lessons the monks gave to
me. First of all, the strange "letter" alphabet, so different from the
ideogram based alphabet we used after the fall. The idea of forming
sounds through combination of letters was so strange that most of us
hated those classes, but the monks insisted and almost forced that
knowledge in our heads (like opening our skulls and putting all that
stuff literally inside our brains). I never expected to acknowledge that
the monks were right about that. Of course, the classic lessons also
included learning the main languages which preceded ours: Portu?ol,
English and Mandarin. This was not so unpleasant than learning the
alphabet, but still most of us resisted (without success, of course, the
monks had special ways to make us learn).
I walked most part of the dry city without finding anything else than old
ruined houses. I was almost giving up for that day and wanted to return
to the port, to travel back to Nitry, when I noticed something shinning
at the distance, at the end of a street. I approached and, after about
100 m I recognized it was some sort of light bulb. I was curious about
that, since I had never seen a light bulb outside of laboratories. It
marked the door of an old, but conserved house. I tried the door and it
was unlocked. I carefully entered the building. There was a staircase
which ended in a large saloon. On the opposite side of that room I found
an exquisite wooden door. I went there and opened it.
At the other side there was a room, which I recognized as a living room,
based on the pictures I had seen in the old history books. In the middle
of that room there was a man, my best guess he was about 50 years old,
dressed in something I had never expected to see in my life other than in
old pictures: a tuxedo! There was something strange about that man, but I
could not identify what it was.
He said:
"Be welcome, I am not used to receive visitors in my house, but I hope
you feel comfortable."
I did not know what to answer, all this caught me by surprise, so I
simply answered:
"Hi, my name is Illana."
He did not bother to tell me his name, answering only:
"Nice to meet you, Illana."
After and awkward and tense silence, he asked me if I was hungry. I was
indeed, and also thirsty. I brought some bread and water for my trip to
RJan, but had consumed them already five hours before. He invited me to
join him for the dinner, leading me to a nearby dinner room, with a very
big table, full of food. We sat and started eating. He remained in
silence and, to be honest, I was not in the mood to talk with my empty
stomach. I guess my baby was already announcing his presence in that
matter.
After the dinner, we began a conversation. I asked about the electricity
and he answered he was a scavenger, and moved to RJan five years before
when he found this house, still equipped with working solar panels
(something I was aware of, since they were the main electricity source
for the laboratory experiments I saw in the monastery). He substituted
the batteries and found replacement light bulbs in other points of the
abandoned city, and so was able to build this home for him. According to
our timeline, we had built in Nitry's monastery, this was a match to
Laisa's story. Was it really possible that I had simply stumbled down in
the man who was the former Laisa? I decided to test this by telling my
story to him, but before I could do that he said he would bring us some
tea and went to the kitchen. He returned with two cups and gave one to
me. I started sipping on it and was about to tell him my story, when I
felt dizzy. The room started to spin and I fainted.
When I woke up, I was lying over the bed of an unknown sleeping room,
obviously decorated for a woman. I was wearing a red dress made of a fine
thin fabric. I moved to sit and then I noticed I had something in my
feet: high heel shoes (with heels about 5cm long). I wanted to take them
off, but the shoes had a strap around my ankles. I tried to untie them,
but they were glued by some sort of plastic mass. No way I could take off
those shoes without scissors or at least a knife.
Carefully I stood up, equilibrating over those heels, and started to
explore the room. I could feel that I had something on my face and that
my hair was different, so I carefully walked to a dressing table, which
had a mirror over it. I saw in my image that I had a make up, but not
like the light ones of my two earlier experiences. This was some sort of
elaborate make up, which would surely take many hours to be done. My hair
was also different, the curls were gone and I had now long straight hair.
It looked also brighter than before. My nails, both from hands and from
feet, were polished and painted in a red color, matching the dress,
which, by the way, had a cut at the right side of the skirt, so that my
leg could be entirely seen. I noticed that I had been shaved. Then I
noticed the same happened with my arms, including the armpits. I looked
carefully in the mirror and noticed that the faint mustache I had been
cultivating as a memory of my lost manhood was also gone. I raised my
dress and examined my pubic area. I was wearing pink panties, but my
pubic hair was still intact, at leas that was not shaved. My bra was a
match to the panties. Looking again at the mirror I saw that I was
wearing fancy earrings, with some sort of jewel at the tips. I probed my
earlobes, but the earrings holders were held on place with the same glue
used in the shoes. It was no point taking off the collar and the
bracelets, as well as, the female wristwatch I was wearing. They were
also glued so I could not open the locks.
That guy spent surely a lot of time with me while I was asleep. Then it
struck me, what else did he done with me when I was asleep? I had read a
lot of proscript stories from the pre-fall period, in which women were
drugged and raped when asleep. Sometimes the drugs caused memory loss, so
that they had no recollection of the violence. Was this that happened to
me? Just the thought was disgusting, but my first instinctive concern was
about the safety of my baby, and this irritated me. After hesitating I
probed the door. I did it at last because I expected it would be locked,
but to my surprise, it was not.
I went out of the sleeping room and entered the same dinner room I had
been drugged. The man was in the room and said:
"Good that you woke up."
"What did you do to me, did you rape me?," I asked.
He gave me a disgusted look and said:
"I would never do this to a girl, I just needed some time to show you how
beautiful you are, by the way, did you like the silk dress, it looks
wonderful in you."
So, that fabric was silk, no wonder it was so comfortable. The man was
obviously crazy, but he looked honest in the last statement. I tried to
argue with him about the drug, telling I was pregnant and he looked
genuinely sad, but stated that the drug was safe to the child, then he
opened a smile and said:
"These are wonderful news, I have lots of dresses for pregnant women you
can try when the time comes!"
He was obviously nuts, he was really expecting I would stay with him? I
tried to walk to the entrance door, but he moved and grabbed my arms to
prevent that. I panicked, thinking he was attacking me, and, I don't know
from were that strength came, I pushed him so hard that he stumbled in a
fold of the carpet and fell backwards. When he fell, he hit the corner of
the dinner table with the back of his head. As he reached the ground I
already guessed he was dead.
I murdered that man. Of course, there were mitigating circumstances:
first, it was an accident, that is unintentional, second, he was
attacking me, so it was self-defense. In my mind, however, the only thing
I could think of was that I had finished the existence of another human
being. I started shaking violently and had to sit down to recover my
strength. His sight, with his open, but lifeless, eyes and the growing
pool of blood was a constant reminder of what I had done. The worse was,
that if I was correct, I had killed the person who had been Laisa before
the swap, the only one who could help me in my quest.
After some time I was able to think coherently again. It was useless to
stay there, I had to send for help. I decided to go to the harbor and
send a message to Dan, asking for his presence at the house. With
difficulty I walked the irregular streets of RJan, taking extreme care
not to break those heels. It was already too difficult to walk over those
things, imagine walking with one of those things broken. I reached the
harbor and realized one full day had already passed. The man had drugged
me for many hours, perhaps more than 12. First the sailor was unsure
about what I was asking, but when I promised that the monks would give
him a reward, he agreed to carry my message to them.
They arrived at the harbor in group a while later and I lead them to the
house. Dan was leading the group. I explained to him what happened and he
said I should not worry. In fact, during the time I was telling my story
the other monks had already get rid of the corpse and cleaned the blood.
Dan was mostly interested in the solar energy, so I had to remind him,
angry, of my mission. He gave orders to the other monks to investigate
the house and we resumed talking (about the energy). When the monks
returned, they gave him some reports in private and then he confirmed to
me that they believed the man had been, indeed, Laisa.
He brought me to another room, which I did not know yet. It was a girl's
room, full of girls stuff, like clothing, make up stuff and dolls. He
told me that they found evidences of constant use of that material in the
last months. This puzzled me, until Dan told me that they believed that
man had dressed himself and played with those things all the time since
the transformation. Then I realized what had bothered me about that man,
he had effeminate facial traits, probably due to the constant use of make
up. Dan believed that the transformation was so traumatic to Laisa, that
she suffered some sort of psychotic break, trying to deny the gender
change. When she spotted me in RJan, what they believed, happened long
before I had even saw that light bulb (which was a bait, now I
recognize), she decided to change her tactics and use me as her doll, to
play her femininity in me. So she was not attempting to rape me, as I
first thought, she would make me "only" her prisoner, maybe using drugs
to bind me as in the first attack.
As for the identity of the man, this would require more investigation.
One of the monks made a sketch of the man's face and they started looking
for people who could identify him, or, at least, to say from where he
came. Five days latter they had success. They found a participant of a
"tropeiro" party, who knew the man (but not his name), and that he had
joined the party in the mining city of OurP. These parties used to
transport (at donkey and horse backs) the goods from the mining region
(mostly processed pig iron, but also some raw iron ore or cast iron
foundry products) to Nitry for shipping to overseas and returned to the
region with food, supplies and steel scrap needed for the cast iron production.
During those five days the monks had been active also in taking
possession of that house in RJan, which, by the way, I had been
inhabiting since the accident. Dan told me they would open a RJan section
of the Nitry monastery, to study the solar energy technology Laisa had
scavenged from the ruins. He meant this would help them to advance in the
solution of the energy problem they were working on. I was already
preparing to join one of the "tropeiros" party towards OurP in the next
morning. I was bringing with me the monk's sketch of the man's face, in
the hope to find someone would recognize him. There was no monastery in
OurP. The local university had been closed long before the fall, but they
had an agent there, responsible for their iron supplies. This agent would
help me tracking the next demon victim.
Before leaving, Dan asked me to follow him to a window and to look
upwards. First thing I noticed was that the constant clouds which hid the
top of the mountains was gone, then, looking with more care, I saw that
there was a small statue over the top of that mountain. It was the statue
of a man with one arm open. It had already lost part of the head and
apparently a second arm, but the form could be clearly recognized. Dan
told me that it was very rare occasion, when the Christ decided to show
himself to the city and that this was a good omen to my journey. I hope
he was right.
Dan insisted me to get all of the dresses, shoes, and other women's
materials we found in the house. First I thought about resisting to the
idea, but finally I decided not to do so. My wardrobe was not as big as I
first believed and the dresses and shoes were really fine stuff. Worse
that that, part of the make up the man did in me was permanent, it was
some sort of black tattooing of my eyebrows and eyelashes. The border of
my lips had also a thin line surrounding them. Unless I wanted to look
like a clown, with an incomplete make up, I would need to constantly
complete it myself, so I was condemned to wear make up all days in the
future, including lipstick with strong colors to hide that line. It
seemed that there was some high power conspiring to make me accept the
idea that I am a woman now. I decided then to start using earrings,
rings, collars and other accessories, both from Thomasz' box and the ones
we retrieved from the RJan house. Later I recognized that this was the
surfacing of changes that were happening to me for some time already, but
that I was unaware at that moment.
