SRU: Big Girls Don't Cry

It was a beautiful late spring day when the SRU store appeared at the
Twin Pines Mall. The Wizard felt a sense of delightful anticipation as
he awaited his first customer of the day. All the years, he thought, all
the years I've been at this, and there's always something new.
The Wizard's back was turned at the moment George walked through the
door. All he heard was the tinkling of the little bell, but he offered
a cheery, "Hello, George," before turning around.
"How did you know?"
"You know me. You shouldn't have to ask that question."
"I've come to ask?"
"Let's save some time. You've been doing research about me, reading all
those stories. Most of it is a bunch of rubbish, but there's enough
truth there to be dangerous, or at least a bother to me. In any event,
you know I usually have to help people who don't realize they need my
help. You've decided to be different and make a direct request. I
commend you, my boy, and I'm glad to help."
"But I didn't have a chance?"
"I don't mean to rush things, but I've got an unusually busy schedule
today, so please, let's just move things along. You wish to become a
woman, right? You know it's my specialty, right? It's what you've
dreamed about since childhood, right?" George nodded three times. "Very
good. Will you step back here please?"
The wizard was heading toward a door behind the counter of the store.
George passed through a dusty, dark room filled with piles of ancient-
looking thick books and a host of small things he couldn't identify. He
nodded at a young woman who appeared to be moving one of the piles of
books. George followed the Wizard through the door and realized the two
of them were standing in what looked like a very ordinary modern stock
room. He noticed several racks filled with women's clothing.
"Where are we?" George asked. He was surprised that the Wizard had
actually allowed him to complete a question.
"This is the stockroom of what will be your new business. Since you know
so much about me, you know that I provide what I believe is called 'the
full meal deal' in this era. Not just the physical transformation, but
the new life to go along with it. When I depart, this store will belong
to you." The wizard waved his hand. On what had been a blank wall a
moment before, a full-length mirror appeared. Next to it was a large
panel with multiple digital readouts. "Step up the mirror, Gwen," the
Wizard directed.
"Gwen?"
The Wizard sighed. "I thought you were of above-average intelligence,
but I suppose I have to take your unusual level of anticipation into
account. Your new name will be Gwendolyn. Although almost everyone other
than your mother will call you Gwen." The soon-to-be former male quickly
complied with the Wizard's directive.
George wasn't surprised to see his plain T-shirt and Levis vanish from
his body. He was so happy to be rid of male clothes; he couldn't wait to
try on some of his new store's stock. Dressing in pretty and elegant
things was just one of the many delights he looked forward to as a
woman. All of the readouts suddenly came to life.
He saw the numbers for his male form register: six feet tall, 270
pounds. Yes, it was true he didn't watch his diet or take very good care
of himself, but things would be different when he was a woman; he had no
doubt about that.
George watched the process of his transformation with rapt attention.
First he saw himself shrink in height and width. Most of his body hair
vanished and his genitals appeared to draw up inside of him. For a
moment, he was a seemingly genderless being, five feet, four inches
tall, weighing just 110 pounds. He thought he resembled himself in the
fifth grade.
Then the second round of changes kicked in, and he felt things beginning
to shift inside. It wasn't a painful or unpleasant sensation; more
unfamiliar than anything else. He realized that the process of turning
into a she had started.
She watched her hair grow rapidly to shoulder length. Her cheekbones
became more prominent, her lips fuller, her chin narrower. Her breasts
grew and her hips widened. Her pubic hair assumed a feminine, triangular
shape. Gwen had been too excited to follow the rapidly changing
counters, but now saw she weighed 125 pounds and had a 36-24-36 figure.
"Oh! This is absolutely perfect!" she cried. "Thank?"
The Wizard, who had been watching the process carefully, uncrossed his
arms and pointed at the new Gwen. "We're not finished yet, dear," he
said quietly.
"What--?" Gwen couldn't get out another word as she watched her new form
rapidly expand in size. She seemed to be inflating like a child's
balloon. The scales quickly moved past the 150 pound mark, the 200 pound
mark, 230, 240, 250, and finally came to a rest at 280 pounds. She
actually weighed more as a female than as a male, despite being more
than half a foot shorter! She looked at her new measurements: 52-44-55.
She had a definite double chin and large dimples on her cheeks. Her
rolls of fat and cellulite were soon covered with women's clothing, much
to her relief. "Oh, my God!" she cried. "This isn't what I wanted. Men
will never give me a second glance if I'm....like this."
"It's true, many men won't give you a second glance, and others will
only look at you with contempt. But it's their loss. Their loss. And I
assure you that many, many more will look upon you with intense desire."
The Wizard maintained his gentle tone. "You know that I am able to look
into your deepest soul," he said. "Yes, you wanted to be a woman, and
you needed to be one. It was necessary for your well-being and survival.
But you also have an unusually strong bond with food. You love things
that are savory and sweet. You delight in the sights, smells and tastes
of food. It's your comfort and reward. I could erase your love of food,
but in your case, I would be erasing part of your core being. You would
be miserable as a thin woman, Gwen, absolutely miserable. Always
starving yourself and hating yourself because you failed at yet another
diet. This way, I've given you a chance at happiness. I emphasize, a
chance. The choice is ultimately yours." With that, the Wizard vanished
in a puff of smoke.
Gwen stood there, stunned. The digital readout panel was gone, but the
mirror remained. Once she got over the shock of her size, she took time
to inspect her new form, and found there was a lot to her liking. She
delighted in the smells of her new body. She knew it was more than just
the perfume, soaps and lotions she had used that morning; women smelled
different than men, and that was all there was to it.
Her face was perfectly made up, and framed by big, wavy brown hair that
fell to her shoulders. (A big girl needs big hair, she thought.) She was
wearing a long-sleeved, cream colored satin blouse and a curve-hugging
skirt of black velvet that fell just below the knee. A wide belt helped
to accentuate her hourglass figure. She had a long strand of pearls
around her neck, and wore matching earrings and bracelet. Her legs were
encased in sheer black hose, and she had a pair of 3 ?-inch cage heels
on her feet.
She walked back and forth on the concrete floor several times, reveling
in the tap-tap sound emanating from her heels. She loved the fact that
she was now responsible for a sound she had always associated with
women.
She opened a door and peered into the store's break room. Spotting a
sturdy, comfortable looking couch, she quickly sat down, carefully
smoothing her skirt as she did so. She unbuttoned her blouse to get a
better look at her new breasts. She felt a shiver of delight when she
saw her new mammary glands encased by a lacy white bra?no doubt from
Just My Size. She noticed the 52G bra was a front hook?no doubt easier
to put on and take off.
Gwen opened the bra and let her breasts fall free. She couldn't believe
that these wonderful appendages were really hers. She was shocked by how
large her areolas and nipples were. All she had to do was touch a nipple
with a perfectly-polished and manicured nail to know that it was indeed
hers. Before she realized it, she was massaging both breasts at once.
She thought of the line Steve Martin uttered in one of his movies?which
one was it??something like, 'I could never be a woman. I'd just sit and
play with my breasts all day.' Gwen feared she would face the same
temptation.
With great effort, Gwen closed her bra, buttoned her blouse, and stood
up. When she did, she noticed a small refrigerator in the corner of the
room. She opened the door with a sense of delighted anticipation. Hmm,
there was a basket of fresh strawberries, and a tub of whipped cream to
dip them in; a big bag of sliced vegetables, and a tub of hummus for
dipping; a package of oatmeal raisin cookies (much 'healthier' than
chocolate chip, right?); a big Tupperware container full of fried
chicken; and several cans of Diet Coke.
Gwen squealed with delight when she opened the freezer compartment.
"Ohh! Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie! Women need chocolate,
right?" she muttered to herself as she opened the drawer near the sink
in search of a spoon.
She had just finished scraping the last of the ice cream from the sides
of the container when she heard a tapping at the store's front door. She
knew it was Mrs. Cheswick and her daughter Celeste, who was 16 years
old?and a size 16. She needed a special dress for the upcoming junior
prom. The poor girl had major self-esteem issues and wouldn't even be
going to the dance if her mother hadn't paid her cousin to be her
escort. Well, no matter. Gwen had just the dress, a gorgeous taffeta
gown in midnight blue, to show off the girl's womanly curves. And with a
little help from her friend Tania at Creative Hair Design at the other
end of the mall, they would have the boys falling all over themselves
for a chance to dance with Gwen.
Yes, thought Gwen as she gave the spoon a final lick and dropped it in
the sink, the Wizard has given me the chance for a pretty wonderful
life.
