As Guy came into the clearing he was met with several "Heyo's"
"Heyo Yourselves," Guy exclaimed with a grin on his face. He hefted his
bag and walked toward the ring of his peers sitting around a campfire
where the flames were was just starting to dig into the heavier logs.
Guy looked around the the grassy clearing and drank in the air of nature.
Not that they were in deep untamed woods or anything, but being
surrounded by several miles of woodland was always comforting to Guy. As
he made it to his friends he swung his parcel around and set it in front
of him as he sat on a log.
He looked around and noticed that everyone was looking at him
expectantly. He hid a grin and looked at the fire. "So did someone bring
marshmallows? I'm starving."
Allura poked him in the ribs. "Did you bring them or what?"
There was a slight murmur of assent from the others.
In response, Guy pulled his bag close and then tipped it upside-down to
let the contents fall out. All kinds of boxes and bags fell out each
decorated with sparkles, flower designs, chinese dragons, American Flags,
fireballs and lots of chinese writing.
For a moment everyone around the campfire was puzzled, this wasn't
exactly what they expected. Then a couple of jaws dropped as they picked
out a couple of packages that were very limited in production and hard to
come by. The assortment in front of them could only have come from...
Guy held out the label from the box he had earlier taken all the packages
out of. Three words comprised most of the label, three words each
starting with a very decorative and extravagent "M"
"Mort's Magic Mix"
In smaller type underneath was written: "Independence Day Magician's
Magic Fireworks."
Allura, Cinx and Gerraro all squealed with delight, the others gasped in
joy.
Various hands grasped at the packages. People picked out their favorites
and looked them over, everyone was speaking at once simultaneously
excited about their new hoard and congratulative towards Guy for bringing
it all to them.
"...Way to go Guy..."
"...got your hands on Mort's 2008 collection is unbelievable..."
"...Guy thanks so much these are the best..."
"...My daddy could have got this too, but he feels these things are
beneath our station..."

Guy pulled out his wand and looked at everyone. "Should we get started
then?"
The first Magic Firework everyone gathered around close for. Guy set it
up on a tree stump. It was triangular with a green rounded bottom and an
orange flat top. There was a white circle with a little picture of a wand
in the center of the top where a touch of magic from a wand would set off
the surprise inside. Guy touched his wand to that activation spot.
Instantly the package unfolded to three times its size. Green and Orange
sparks circled the package and outlined little figures of hefty barrel-
chested men lifting comically overlarge dumbbells and doing other
exercise routines.
The Package generated a blurry distortion bubble that enveloped a radius
of 20 feet. Everyone around the package felt a tingling sensation, then a
sense of extreme lightness in their bodies, as though gravity might let
them go at any moment. The sparkly figures working out around the package
then faded away.
Nobody looked any different, everyone stared at each other for a moment
in silence. Cinx was the first to break from the circle. "I've got to
test this out." She dashed across the clearing to the log next to their
campfire. She grabbed the log with her thin arms and effortlessly lifted
it straight up.
The others cheered and called out to her as she giggled and tossed the
log from hand to hand. Then she choked up as best she could on the trunk
and swung it a couple of times like a baseball bat. "Toss me a rock or
something, I want to hit a field goal."
Gerraro, the tallest of the friends grabbed a boulder that was half stuck
in the ground. He pulled and the boulder violently ripped from the Earth.
"Here it comes," he said throwing it overhand at Cinx.
Cinx swung with her log and a thunderous "CRACK!" sounded as the boulder
connected. The boulder hit the ground and flew back at the group of
friends. Everyone dived away from the boulder except Guy, who caught the
speeding boulder with ease.
The friends spent a half hour playing around with their super strength.
Cinx ripped some trees from their roots, being the thinnest and leanest
of the friends she was normally the weakest and now delighted in her
muscles. Splooker, ever the environmentalist, followed in her wake and
re-seamed the trees to their roots with his wand.
Cecelia became a little jealous of the attention Splooker was giving Cinx
so she challenged Cinx to an arm-wrestling match. Cecelia won, but Cinx
gave her a run for her money.
Eventually everyone came back to the tree stump. Gerraro picked a new
Magic Firework out, this one was wrapped in plain beige paper, but had a
sticker on the side of it with the label and activation spot. It was cone
shaped and Gerraro had to set it on the tree stump pointed side down. He
pulled out his wand and tapped it twice on the activation spot. The
package started spinning. As it spun around streaks of light appeared on
it. The streaks of light kept spinning around but left the surface of the
package. They hovered an inch away, then a few inches away. They started
growing exponentially. Soon bands of color passed through the circle of
friends. Everyone felt the familiar tingle of the magic, it was similar
to the tingle of the Muscle Enhancer but had a different cooling after
effect.
The magic package stopped spinning and it was dark again.
"Ok," Cecelia said, "so what did that one do?"
"I'll show you," Gerraro said. His eyes looked over at Cinx. He started
toward her his body shrinking, his black skin suddenly covered with grey
fur and his ears and face contorting into triangles and a muzzle. In the
blink of an eye he was a tiny kitten. He leapt from the ground toward
Cinx.
Cinx's eyes went wide. "No, NO YOU KNOW I CAN'T CARRY YOU!!!" She closed
her eyes as the tiny kitten flew into her arms, but she instinctively
caught Gerraro the Kitten. When she opened her eyes, she saw a cute grey
kitten in her arms purring away happily.
Cecelia, watching all this, smiled, "So it lets us turn into cats?"
Guy grinned at her, "Naw, Gerraro is a shape changer, he can become
almost anything, but he just can't change his body mass. That was a
Gravity Manipulator Gerraro set off. We now have control over how much
gravity can affect us."
"How does it work?" Allura asked.
"Just picture yourself getting heavier or lighter and see what happens,"
Guy replied smiling.
The friends started leaping around the clearing, jumping dozens of feet
in the air, and sometimes letting gravity force them down to the ground.
They had to be careful in jumping, too hard and one went up far enough
that the wind would take them away from the clearing leaving them in the
awkward position of needing to find their way back.
They tired of it faster than the strength Firework and were soon gathered
around the stump. All except Cinx and Gerraro, Cinx was cooing Gerraro as
the happy kitten continued to purr away in her lap.
Cecelia surprised everyone with her choice of what to use next. She put a
Red and Brown package on the stump. She pulled her wand from behind her
ear and touched it to the activation spot.
The box shook. Then something inside the box started banging against the
sides. Similar to a bag of microwave popcorn, the package started
expanding. The package reached a stretching point and the banging started
slowing down. It was silent for a moment. A little puff of white smoke
seeped out the top of the stretched package, then with a "THUFFT" it
exploded casting white smoke in every direction.
As the smoke cleared everyone looked around at each other. Then cheered
at the results.
"YEAH! Good ONE!"
Cinx, unaffected by the Magic Firework, from the ring around the campfire
called over to Cecelia. "Hey Cecelia, I never took you for a Gender Bomb
fan!"
The tall princely blonde man with an effeminent wand smiled back at Cinx,
"don't give me that, its everyone's secret favorite...at least if you go
by Magic Firework sales."
Then Cecelia turned to Splooker, a very short blond girl whose hair
covered half of her face. Cecelia raked his eyes up and down "his
girlfriend" loving the fact that Splooker seemed to now be sporting the
biggest tits out of everyone there.
Splooker was just as amused at her new rack and undid a couple of buttons
to keep her shirt from popping open. Fortunately the rest of her clothing
hung loose on her.
Splooker noticed Cecelia looking at her. She grinned at "her boyfriend"
then struck a pose, "if you don't believe your eyes then why not try
using your tactile senses?"
Cecelia stepped up to Splooker. He now towered over the girl, his dress
had been a stretchy material, so even though it looked a little
ridiculous on his bulky body, it didn't rip. He bent over and kissed
Splooker lightly. Then whispered in her ear, "I'm going to be taking you
up on that offer right now."
Cecelia swooped up Splooker and the two excused themselves to their tent.
The rest of the friends laughed a little.
Only Guy and Allura were left by the stump. Allura wasn't quite sure what
to do with his hands, he was glad he had worn loose clothing, it
stretched over his newly muscularly ripped body.
Guy, meanwhile was disappointed that her own female form was so thin. She
had never been through a Gender Bomb before and was looking forward to
seeing some breasts of her own, but if she had any they were pretty lost
in her clothing which hung on her like blankets.
Guy and Allura looked over at one another nervously. Both averted their
eyes.
"You..uh..look really nice." Allura said softly.
Guy flattened her shirt to let what little breasts she had push through
the fabric. She sighed. "I think I'm wispier than Cinx."
Allura turned to Guy and smiled at the small girl, then she leaned over
to whisper softly into her ear.
Guy's face turned bright red and she looked a little weak in the knees.
She turned to look up at Allura and made to respond, but thought better
of it. Clearing her throat she retrieved another magic package saying,
"why don't we try another?" She grabbed something at random and put it on
the stump.
Just as Guy touched her wand to the package she and Allura were rejoined
by Cinx and Gerraro. "What are we doing now?" Gerraro asked with a grin
on his face. A pair of cat ears had just finished pulling into his head.
Guy looked at the package but it had already started to vibrate. It
jumped around the stump with a yellow glow and blurred the writing too
much to read. Suddenly little yellow sun spots flew off the package in
every direction. Quite a few hit Guy, being the closest. Some hit Gerraro
and Cinx but Allura only was hit with one spot in her thigh. Guy had been
between her and the magic package and had thus inadvertently shielded her
from most of the effect.
Guy fell apart. Literally. Her arms and legs detached and landed with a
heap on the ground with her torso. For a moment her head seemed like it
would hang in the air but it too fell, it bounced off her torso and
rolled to Allura's feet.
Cinx fell over as well but the only thing that detached from her were her
legs. She landed in the arms of Gerraro who had lain down as soon as he
saw the suns shoot out from the magic package. Gerraro's arms fell off
from catching Cinx's small body, she lay on top of Gerraro for a moment
feeling herself being lifted and lowered by his chest cavity as he
breathed.
"Why do I get the feeling?" she asked of the big man, "that you knew
exactly what was coming?"
Gerraro grinned at her with his award winning smile. "I've been through
Segmentation four times before my little buttercup. Its much better when
you can start off more whole."
"Oh really?" Cinx asked him. She looked at her lower half. Her legs were
missing from their regular place, instead they were a couple of feet away
lying on the ground. She looked back at her boyfriend and ran her hand
over the skin on his right shoulder where an arm should be coming out
from. "Why is that?"
Grinning wider Gerraro said, "re-attach one of my arms and I'll show you
why."
Allura picked up Guy's head. He hoisted the head up in the air and with
his best Shakespearian accent said, "Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him,
Horatio, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy. He hath bore
me on his back a thousand times, and now how abhorr'd in my imagination
it is! My gorge rises at it."
"Alright, alright that's enough Hamlet," Guy said rolling her eyes.
Allura lowered Guy to his eye level and smiled at her. "Y'know, I could
just take you home like this." Allura turned Guy's head so he could see
the smooth skin where the neck would typically be. He ran a finger across
that area eliciting a moan from Guy.
He turned Guy back up to face him again. "Did that feel good?" he asked.
Guy blushed, "um, pretty ahh. Put me up to your ear and I'll tell you
what it feels like."
Allura held Guy up to his ear. Guy whispered very quickly and now it was
Allura's turn to blush. "Really?" he asked pulling Guy back in front of
him. "I've never...but I guess I can imagine."
Guy looked off to the side for a moment then over at Cinx and Gerraro who
were amusing themselves by switching body parts around and laughing at
the silly looking results.
Guy nodded her head toward the tent meant for her and Allura. "Let's go
into our tent," she said, "and I'll show you exactly how it feels."
Allura nodded, excitement building up inside her, she moved to pick up
Guy's womanly torso and limbs but Guy stopped her. "No, no, don't bother
with them. I won't need them for this." Allura disappeared inside the
tent he and Guy were sharing.
The door flap to Cecelia and Flooker's tent opened and Cecelia stepped
out. He wore only a wrap-around denim skirt. He arched his back and
stretched while breathing the forest air deeply. Cecelia cut quite an
imposing figure, he looked very content compared to his normal self.
"Life is good," he said under his breath. One would think he would light
up and smoke a cigar if any of the friends had had an inclination to
smoke.
Flooker stepped out of the tent behind Cecelia. Flooker had a blanket
wrapped around her, her blonde hair hung over half her face but that
didn't disguise her own contented expression from glowing out to the
world.
Cecelia turned her head to Flooker then leaned down to kiss her on the
head. Then putting an arm around her the two made their way back to the
stump where they found Cinx and Gerraro all mixed together.
Just because Cinx and Gerraro didn't get as full of a blast from the
Segmentation Magic Package didn't mean they couldn't segment as fully as
Guy. Gerraro's body had one of Cinx's tiny arms and no legs. Cinx's body
had Gerraro's arms coming off of her hips and her legs were on her
shoulders. Her torso was upside down. At the moment they were attaching
their heads directly together hanging off the sides of the shoulder part
of one of Cinx's arms.
"Well aren't you two a regular erector set." Cecelia said.
Cinx and Gerraro stopped what they were doing, they had large smiles on
their faces. They turned to look at their friends and Gerraro's head was
turned upright to face them, leaving Cinx's head upside down.
Gerraro's smile was especially wide as he addressed the couple. "I didn't
think we'd see you two again until morning."
"Well ahh, ere, y'see..." Cecelia started saying while his cheeks burned
easily.
Splooker came to his rescue, "We thought we'd check out another Magic
Firework before turning in for the night."
Cinx and Gerraro turned their heads so Cinx was now on top. "That will
depend on the other gender confused couple. They're taking a little
private time of their own," Cinx's hand on Gerraro's body pointed to Guy
and Allura's tent.
Splooker was the first to notice the extra body parts over by the Magic
Firework launching stump. "Aren't they missing some vital parts?"
Cinx and Gerraro giggled a little, "not for what they have in mind."
For a moment Cecelia and Splooker were confused, until a mental image of
what they were doing popped into their heads. They too started giggling
animatedly.
Suddenly a panicky male voice rang out in the night. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN
YOU SWALLOWED IT???!!!"
Cinx and Gerraro dropped their heads on the ground as they laughed deeper
than before. "Looks like that segmentation spell finally started working
on Allura."
"I guess that's the end of the night's festivities then," Splooker said
grinning. The four of them continued to laugh loudly into the night.
Everyone knew that the effects of Magic Fireworks only lasted until dawn,
but the situation was still funny.
