Jamie was walking down the beach, alone with his thoughts. He was
wearing a modest one piece swimsuit, cut high in the hip, to show off
his best features, his legs. Ever since that first time when he decided
to shave his legs in Jasmine's shower, he had kept his legs nice and
smooth. He was wearing a white baseball cap, and gold hoop earrings.
He was wearing 'beach' makeup - tinted sunscreen, waterproof mascara, a
little waterproof blush, and some lip gloss. But for the fact that he
had a completely flat chest, which he made no effort to hide, he looked
like a very pretty teenaged girl.
Jamie was lost in his thoughts, looking down at the sand for pretty
shells, and did not see that he almost collided into someone walking at
the ocean's edge from the opposite direction. The other person seemed
to be a teenaged girl, perhaps a year or two older than Jamie, with a
spectacular figure. The girl was wearing an adorable bikini, skimpy on
top, displaying her perfectly formed, tanned breasts, and on bottom,
something a little more modest, but still sexy - short, but with a
frilly little "skirt" around the front.
The girl giggled at how oblivious Jamie was, and introduced herself.
She said, "Hi, I'm Jordana. Did you just get to the beach?"
Jamie smiled and said, "Hi, I'm Jamie. Yes, how did you know?"
Jordana said, "I can always tell by how tan someone is! You are not as
dark as me, and I have been here for four days, so..."
Jamie smiled and said, "That's very observant of you."
Jordana WAS observant, and she noticed more than the fact that Jamie was
not very tan. She suspected that this was a boy wearing a girl's
bathing suit. But she wanted to be sure, and she did not want to be too
presumptuous. It was possible that Jamie was just a flat chested girl,
not a boy. But the thought that she might have just met someone who
was, well, not exactly like her, but a lot like her, was very exciting.
She said, "Do you mind if I walk with you?" And she giggled and added,
"I can make sure you don't bump into anything!"
Jamie giggled too and said, "Yes, I was pretty oblivious I guess. I,
umm, have a lot on my mind! Anyway, yes, I would love the company."
Although Jordana looked for all the world like a beautiful girl, Jordana
was not the only one with suspicions. There was just something about
her that Jamie could not put his finger on...So, here was this bizarre
sight - two seemingly very pretty girls, one with a beautiful figure,
the other with a nice figure but admittedly flat chested, strolling down
the beach together, with both of them trying to sneak surreptitious
glances at the other's crotch. Jamie had learned to tuck himself back,
so as not to create an obvious bulge, but he was also not really trying
to hide the fact that he was a boy. His thought, encouraged by
Jasmine, was that if someone realized he was a boy, so be it. He would
not be ashamed of who he was.
Jordana, on the other hand, was much more convincing, and in fact was
trying to pass as a girl. With her beautiful breasts, the only thing
that would give her away was the slight bulge down below. She hoped
that the ruffled skirt would provide sufficient camouflage.
So, Jordana had reason to be more suspicious. When Jamie spotted her
glancing at his boy part for the third time, he finally said, "I hope it
doesn't make you uncomfortable Jordana, but yes, I am a boy."
Jordana was not yet ready to admit who SHE was. She said, "No, Jamie,
it doesn't make me uncomfortable at all. In fact I think it's awesome.
But I AM curious. What has made you wear a girl's bathing suit, and
makeup?"
Jamie answered, "Well, I think that this is just who I am. I like to
look pretty, and feel pretty."
Jordana said, "So, do you consider yourself, a boy, or a girl?"
Jamie answered, "Well, I guess I really don't think about it like that.
I really feel like am a little of both. But if I was forced to give an
answer, I would say I am a boy who likes being feminine. I guess you
could say I am a sissy. Some people might be offended by that term, but
I am not."
Jordana was amazed. She had never met anyone like Jamie. She had at
first been totally mortified at her own breast growth, and tried to hide
it from the world. When she started getting more comfortable with
feminine things, and then finally enjoying it, at her mother's
suggestion, she chose to pass herself off as a girl. She did not know
if she would have had the courage to do what Jamie did, to be out in the
world as a feminine boy. As a sissy. She was impressed, and hoped they
would be friends.
Or more?
She had no idea about that last question. She barely knew who she was,
let alone what she was attracted to.
Either way, she realized it was not fair that she knew what Jamie was,
but Jamie did not know what she was. She said, "Well, Jamie, guess what.
I am a boy too." Although Jamie had had his suspicions, he was still
stunned. Jordana could have fooled anyone. Jamie couldn't help staring
at Jordan's chest and saying, "But...but.... I mean, are you taking
hormones?"
And Jordana said, "Believe it or not, no, this is completely natural. I
have a condition called gynecomastia. When it first happened I was
totally mortified. I had never felt the least bit girlish. But as I
have gotten used to my body, I have also started enjoying girlish
things. Anyway, my mom thought it would be good for the two of us to
come to the beach, and for me to spend the week passing as a girl."
Jamie was fascinated. He said, "How has that been?"
And Jordana said, "Well, it was a little strange at first, but as you
can imagine, I am used to strange. Now, it feels pretty natural. I
definitely feel more like a girl than a boy."
Jamie said, "Umm, are you going to, you know, have a sex change?"
Jordana said, "It's funny that you ask. The other day my mom and I were
on the Internet, looking at pictures of different types of girls. Girls
like you, girls like me, girls who have gone all the way and had
surgery. Just like you seem to be happy with who you are right now,
same for me. I have, well, grown attached to my boobs, just like I am
attached to my boy part. At this point I do not want to lose either one
of them. They are both a part of me."
Jamie did in fact think he was happy with his body, and who he was. But
he was fascinated by Jordana's breasts! Jordana could see him staring
at them. She said, "Would you like to touch them?"
Jamie's eyes opened wide. He said, "Really?"
Jordana giggled and said, "Sure, go ahead." Then she laughed and said,
"That would be the most action I have ever had!"
Jamie took a step towards Jordana, and very tentatively, gently touched
one of her breasts. It had been the first breast he had ever touched!
He liked the way it felt, and he liked the way they looked. He couldn't
help feeling a little envious!
Jamie said, "Oh, Jordana, I think that is so cool that you are happy
with your body! You feel the same way I do. Although, to be honest, I
do love your boobs! I think I am a little jealous! Do all the boys
give you looks?"
Jordana giggled and said, "Well, yes, actually, I do get a lot of looks.
It's kind of fun to get the attention, but I am not sure I want anything
more than that. A few boys have asked me out since I have been down
here, but I have said no. Not just because I am a little nervous about
being discovered, but I am not so sure I want to date boys. This is all
so new to me, I really don't know how I feel, whether I like boys,
girls, or, well, something in between!"
The only person Jamie had ever been attracted to had been Jasmine. And
he was not sure that counted, since it was his stepmother. Ok, well,
since he fantasized about her almost every night, he guessed it counted.
But he found himself very attracted to Jordana. Did that make him gay?
After all Jordana had a penis. Still, Jordana seemed as feminine and
girlish as any girl he had ever met.
Just like he had decided to stop thinking about what his gender was, he
decided to stop thinking about sexual preference. All he knew was that
he was attracted to her. He blurted out, "Oh, I think you should think
about the in-between!"
Jordana giggled too and said, "Oh really? Do you know anyone who might
fall into that category?"
Jamie smiled, enjoying the flirtation, and said, "I just might! But
this person I am thinking of is very hot, and she might not be
interested in you!"
Jordana laughed again and said, "Oh, really? Well, if you talk to this
hot girly boy, tell her I would love to make her acquaintance! Who
knows where things might go!"
They walked along the beach together, and Jamie spotted a sand dollar.
He bent down to pick it up, and then he handed it to Jordana. He
noticed that they were both wearing a pale pink nail polish. When their
hands met, Jamie felt something special flow between them. Jordana
thanked Jamie for the sand dollar, giving him a little kiss on the
cheek. And as they continued to walk down the beach together, their
fingers lightly touched.
Neither Jordana nor Jamie had ever had any romantic experience, so they
had absolutely nothing to compare these new feelings to. Until
recently, both had been relatively 'normal' boys, and they both assumed
that one day they would start dating girls, and hopefully have a
girlfriend. And now, they both found themselves attracted to something
else - a feminine, girlish, pretty boy, but a boy nonetheless. A boy,
with a boy part. Perhaps they were both still too young to be engaging
in anything other than kissing, making out and perhaps some 'petting'.
Still, both could not help thinking about how they would feel if
confronted with the other person's boy part. It was all very confusing.
Independently, they both ended up thinking the same thing - "I am not
going to think about what is down there. I found someone who is a lot
like me, who I can be friends with. And yes, maybe more than friends.
I can't wait for us to try on makeup and clothes together, for us to
show each other what we know. Oh, and I'll bet his lips would look so
yummy with a pretty lipstick. I know we are going to kiss, and even
though I have never kissed anyone before, I know it will be awesome.
And I am so excited that this will be the person who gets my first
kiss!"
Jordana and Jamie embraced and headed their separate ways. They were
both staying at a large, resort-like condo complex on the beach. They
promised to meet each other the next morning. Both were excited to tell
their mothers (well, in Jamie's case, Jasmine) about their new friend.
Both were hoping that the four of them could get together, maybe as soon
as the next evening for dinner. It was amazing to both of them how
meeting one person could make them feel so much less alone in the world.
Jasmine sat with Jamie at her makeup table. Jasmine had never heard
Jamie like this. He really did sound like a teenaged girl! He was
pleading with her, "Mommie, PLEASE make sure my makeup is perfect!"
And, "You have been promising me! I want to wear eye shadow!"
The biggest decision had been whether to wear something sissyish, or to
wear a dress. Jamie had yet to wear the pretty dress that Jasmine had
bought him, and this seemed like the perfect occasion. The occasion?
Dinner with Jordana and her mother! Jamie was even going to wear a bra
- not a training bra! A 34 AA with just a tiny bit of padding.
Jasmine was so happy to see Jamie this excited, and happy that he was
embracing his femininity. But she found herself in the strange position
of being a little jealous of this Jordana. Who was this girl who seemed
to have stolen her stepson's heart? Jasmine knew that was foolish, that
she should not, could not, have romantic feelings for Jamie. Still, she
could not help feeling that way she did.
She said, "Jamie, I will make you glam and gorgeous. I will make you
look totally inappropriate for a thirteen year old girl, let alone boy.
I promise you, every guy in the restaurant will be looking at you when
we walk in. And if Jordana has not yet fallen for you, she will when
she sees you tonight. Just promise me you are not going to run off with
this girl and leave me!"
Jasmine meant to make it sound light, and jokey, ha ha, but she found
herself literally crying as she said it. Jamie was alarmed. He said,
"Mommie, why are you crying?"
Jasmine tried to stop. She said, "I, I don't know Sweetie. Mommie is
just being a silly old lady."
Jamie was young but wise beyond his years. He realized what was going
on. Jasmine had just finished grieving for Jade. She had finally let
herself give her heart to Jamie, and now she was afraid she would be
left again.
Jamie went over to Jasmine and hugged her tightly. He said, "Mommie, I
love you more than anything in the world. My dream has always been to
be just like you. And you saved me from being alone, and took care of
me. And most of all, you loved me. I promise you, I will never, ever
leave you. You will always come first."
Jasmine hugged him back, and sniffling, said, "Don't be silly. You are
still too young, but one day you will find a nice girl, or boy, or
someone just like you, and you will be happy together. But thank you,
Jamie. You know I love you very much.
Now Jamie was crying too. He said, "I know Mommie."
And then Jasmine giggled and said, "Young lady, you need to stop crying.
That is not waterproof mascara! And if I have to redo your makeup, we
are going to be late!"
Jamie smiled, as happy as he had ever been, and stopped his crying.
