Writer's Note:
No transformations this story. just a check in on someone who realized
they had been transformed and how they are handling it. It is just a one-
part story, so I hope you enjoy this shorter, more personal story in this
universe.
Samantha
Samantha got off the bus and breathed a sigh of relief. It had been a week
since all the strange incidents had happened at school and besides one or
two small things, nothing had really happened since. She came to her house
and like every day since that faithful day went straight to her room,
closed the door and took off her clothes.
"Yep," she thought, "still a woman." It had happened quite suddenly the
night where almost everyone had changed. Doug and Juliet had become very
public with their relationship, which quite frankly irked Samantha and her
boyfriend Lex, but Lex, nor anyone else really knew the reason it had
bothered her. She knew, for some reason it used to be her and Lex that
were public about their relationship. It didn't bother Samantha not to be
open anymore, but she did miss it. She was the only one who did though.
That was just one of the many changes that took place, and the one that
had impacted Samantha the most. That is what she used to think, but then
she looked down again and saw her small, but developed boobs, and reaching
down to check, her vagina was still there.
For some reason, that night Samantha had remembered that at one point she
was not Samantha, but Sam, and he had not been dating Lex, or Elexa, as
she used to be called. By the best of his figuring, they had traded
places, at least in love and sex. Samantha loved Elexa, but for the past
week there had been this feeling that it had all been set up and he could
not tell where it was coming from.
One week prior she had been trying to figure out what was going on when
looking in the mirror, he suddenly remembered the person who had been
called Sam. He then remembered there was a time when the bus they were on
had to go to a car wash. At this car wash things had changed, much like
they had at school. His memory was still a little hazy but he recalled
that Cathy of all people had once been docile, he remembered Reese,
Cathy's first major target who had run from the school basically screaming
after, or was it Eaton, who had mysteriously disappeared that morning. She
knew something had happened but everything seemed jumbled up for some
reason.
She looked up again, even in her own mind, the pronouns used to describe
her were all jumbled up. Was he a guy? Was she a girl? She just could not
tell.
This whole confusion had been going on for the whole week, and it made her
interactions with people quite strange.
The day after he remembered he had talked to Lex, trying to get a feel for
how Lex would react to the news.
"I am just saying Lex, what would you do if I was a guy?"
"I don't know, I doubt we would be dating, you are a girl, and I am dating
you, I don't know if that makes me straight, I had never dated before
after all. The only way I could answer that question is if I fell in love
with a guy, and with you around, that is not going to happen." Lex gave a
smile that truly made Samantha happy after that, but it didn't answer the
question.
"Well Lex, I want you to know, if you were, male, female, or whatever, I
will always love you. I want you to know that in case anything happens.
You make me happy, happier, than anyone could ever imagine. If I make you
even half as happy as you make me, I can just imagine your bliss around
me. Oh, sorry, that probably came off very egotistical." Lex smiled at
her, and pecked her on the cheek. Samantha missed the feeling of the deep
kisses, but didn't miss them themselves, whatever happened had been weird.
With this Lex changed the topic to Mr. Frederick and trying to get solid
notes for his class. With this reminder, Samantha just shook her head and
started to tell Lex what they went over.
At lunch that day Samantha had tried to talk to Juliet about it in vague
terms as well, hoping to get a female opinion on it, someone who by the
best of Samantha's knowledge, had always been female.
"So, Juliet, have you ever wanted to be a guy?"
"What, Samantha, what are you talking about?" Juliet looked to the sides
quick then leaned in to talk to Samantha and Samantha only. "What woman
hasn't? We are always the ones pushed aside for men, I mean what is it,
like 75% of all CEOs are men. Of course, there are times where I wish I
was a guy. Is something going on, why bring this up?"
"Oh, nothing Juliet, I am just feeling, well, like I should be a guy, it
is hard to explain, you know how I called you out a few days ago about
never being affectionate before, this is similar, I feel at one point I
was a dude."
Juliet gave Samantha a confused look, then shook it off and finished,
"Sounds like you might have some issues, I know it is the thing now, what
is it called, gender fluidity, but I never thought I would know someone
with it."
"No, no, no, it isn't that Juliet, it is more, closer to, I guess a past
life? That is the best way I can describe it."
"Well I don't know what to say about that Samantha, but if you need to
talk to someone, I am her to help."
Samantha thanked her and then went back to her lunch.
At home that night Samantha started to examine his body. He was certain
there was a time where he did not have boobs, but going into his memories,
he sort of remembered a past where he did, it was all quite strange.
In the following week this just kept on happening, Samantha approached
almost everyone she could think of to get an opinion. She was hoping it
was not getting around that she might want a gender change, but she needed
opinions. At one point she had even considered approaching Emma, who she
was almost certain had once been a guy, maybe the Eaton she thought she
remembered.
Finally, tonight though she decided to check the internet, there was a lot
of strange stuff on there and maybe she would find a clue.
It was basically a futile search, that is, except there was one thing. On
the day that she realized that at one point she had been male, she saw
someone posting asking if changes of sex had anyway to happen. The
strangest thing was it seemed to imply some of the small changes that had
happened at the school that day asking if a guy could grow younger and
become a woman, or just start smoking without needed prodding. Samantha
sent out an email to this person claiming she had, had the same thing
happen to her, without the deaging, and was hopeful to get a response.
The next day after school, Samantha went straight to her computer and saw
that she had gotten a response from the person. Sadly, all it did was make
her more confused. The person on the other end claimed she did not recall
ever writing the note and not to try to contact her again. Obviously,
whoever this had happened to had forgotten, just like Samantha had for the
longest time.
She tried to stay calm but, reading this and hitting another dead end,
Samantha just curled into a ball and cried a bit, with nowhere else to
reach she got out her phone and tried to call Lex, he always knew how to
calm her down.
It was decided by Lex that to cheer up Samantha they would go see a movie
that weekend at the mall in the area. It was a small thing, but Samantha
appreciated Lex always looking after her when she was down. Hopefully,
someday Samantha will figure out what happened, and maybe a magic way to
turn back. It was probably a fool's hope, Samantha knew, but she did truly
want one day to reach down between her legs and feel something there
again. A chance to be the protector of Lex however was what she wanted
more than anything.
Epilogue:
Cathy looked over the note that Erica was sending to this mysterious
person who had some sort of similar experience to what they were
controlling. She was tempted to get Erica to ask for her name but decided
it was probably better to leave it alone. If there is someone who was
changed and realizes it happened, they will show signs of it sooner or
later. Erica was given the okay to send and Cathy walked over and sat on
Erica's bed.
"So, do you think I should tell sis about this, it seems very important,"
Cathy asked Erica, seeking her opinion as someone who Cathy was sure sis
had never touched.
"I don't think it is important enough for that Cathy. If things go bad,
which with your bracelet, how could they possibly, we can feel Lavina in."
Cathy shrunk for a second, she was not used to people calling sis by her
real name, and it felt a little disrespectful.
"Did you hear what sis wants us to do this weekend Erica?" Erica shook her
head that she did not. "Well she is getting a bit bored again so we are
going to the mall to wreak some small havoc. I honestly can't wait, I am
looking forward to being able to actually use this thing again, it has
been what, over a week?"
"Hey Cathy," Erica started, "isn't it about time you showed me how to use
that thing then, I know Kim knows, and well she has teased me a bit about
it."
Writer's Note:
Next story will be the trip to the mall, what will Lavina, Cathy, and her
gang do? What about the fact that Samantha will be there with her friends?
The two groups seem to be on a collision course with each other and I hope
you are looking forward to it as much as I am looking forward to writing
it.
