When the alarm went off Lucy felt nothing but hate. She wasn't ready to
get up yet. But she had to. She had to get ready for her appointment at
the doctors. Once the cobwebs in her head had cleared, she started
smiling again. The transformation was done. Her body released so many

to have coffee before, just to be safe.
When she was in the bathroom, she saw her mother's make up. 'Shit, I

such. Lucy's mom was happy to help and went upstairs in with her to

"I'm meeting with Ellie in the mall later, will get some of my own

Her mum helped her with the eyeliner and told Lucy her way to apply.
"You might find your way over the next days /weeks. Just try and get
practice."
"Thanks, mom, I certainly will."
When she arrived at the practice, she started to be a bit nervous. It

"Good morning, I'm Lucy Walsh, I have an appointment," she said to the
nurse at the front desk.
"I have a Dennis Walsh her at 8 am?"

"You don't look like a Dennis to me, Miss."
"Yes, that's true. And it's kinda the reason I'm here."
"Oh.... Okay. have a seat in the waiting area, will be with you
shortly."
Lucy couldn't help but grin at that experience. No one will question
she isn't Lucy. Dennis is gone.
Once called into the doctor's office, she sat down.
"Ms. Walsh, what can I do for you?" Dr. Fowler asked.
"Well, I am transgender."
"So you feel like a man?"
"Uhm, no, it's the other way. I was male, but always felt female and a
couple of weeks ago I found a pill on the internet claiming to be able
to change me into my desired gender.
I took the pill Friday evening and here I am. Your files say I'm Dennis
Walsh, but I'm Lucy now."
"Okay..." Dr. Fowler wasn't sure how to process the information just
given.
"So, Lucy, what kind of pill was that? A party drug."
"I honestly don't know Dr. Fowler and I know it was pretty stupid just
taking a pill I don't know anything about bought off the internet. But
I know it worked. And I know that it made me really happy.
"You know that if you had said anything about that, we had gone a safe
route, with hormones and everything."
"I know, but I never dared to tell anyone. Was just too afraid."
"Okay, I see. Don't worry. You look healthy to me, so it probably
wasn't too bad. I just wonder why and how a pill can do that. So if you
don't mind I want to give you a full examination and draw some blood.
To make sure that it just doesn't look like everything is in order."
"Okay doc."
Dr. Fowler gave Lucy a full body examination, felt her abdomen, checked
the reflexes, and did an ultrasound of her heart, Lung, and abdomen.
Nothing was out of the ordinary.
"Okay Lucy, you look as healthy as a young woman your age should be.
For the moment nothing to worry. The Ultrasound showed you have a
uterus and ovaries now, so you might want to get a gynecologist and
think about birth control. I wouldn't recommend and risk pregnancy just
yet. We need to make sure everything is stable. So, we should make
another blood count next week and the week after next. At least."
"Sounds good to me Doc."
"Okay, I go get the nurse to get your blood drawn and we're good for
today. Just come and see me for the blood results tomorrow afternoon,
just make an appointment on your way out."
The nurse who drew the blood from Lucy was very gentle, Lucy hardly
felt a thing. It just took some time as they were doing a full blood
count and therefore it was quite a lot of blood.
"You're okay?" the nurse asked once everything was done.
"Yeah, no worries. I haven't been much bothered with that since I was
little, and the blood just looks like a lot."
On her way-out Lucy made an appointment for the next afternoon and
while she was at it, as well for a new blood count the following week.
Back home she headed for the coffeemaker first thing. Finally. How
could someone not be loving coffee, not drinking it, and making it
through the day? She certainly had a coffee addiction.
She also texted Ellie to tell her that, minus the bloodwork, her body
is healthy, and nothing is messed up. For their mall date they set 11
am, so they can start their extensive haul, have lunch, continue
shopping, and then dinner and then the celebration.
When Lucy's mom came into the kitchen, she wanted to know how the
doctor went. She was relieved that everything seemed to be fine and
embraced Lucy in a long, motherly hug.
She then looked at Lucy. "Lucy, I must say, I have a wonderful
daughter. And I'm happy for you and to have you."
"Thank you, mom. I'm glad you're not mad at me."
"About the pill thing?"
"No, the girl thing."
"Why should I be mad at you? You are who you are. Genetics messed up,
that's not your fault. You are my child. Our child. Sure, it needs some
time to get used to your new looks. But, it's amazing how much happier
you are. And that's the most important thing and shows how important it
was for you to transition, even though it was with a fishy pill."
"I can get pregnant mom."
"Are you planning to?" Lucy's mom was a bit shocked.
"No, but It's because of that fishy pill. It wouldn't be possible with
a regular transition. And to be honest, it breaks my heart that this
pill isn't the common way to transition."
"I know honey, maybe it will one day."
At the mall, Ellie gave Luc a big hug. "Welcome to the world Lucy."
"I've been here some years already."
"Yes, I know silly, but now you're you. Final. No more transformation
steps."
"True. And you know what? I can't wait to shop to get myself outfitted.
And I need make-up."
"We get you everything you want. Your eye make-up looks very pretty by

"Yeah, I know. My mom told me as well."
Their shopping spree included almost every store in the mall. Lucy
bought Jeans, tops, skirts, dresses, shoes, and makeup. She went to the
car two times to unload shopping bags.
"I bet your bank has a picture of you now in their office, if you
continue shopping that extensive, you'll get every single employees'
kid through college."
Both laughed. But Ellie was right. Lucy did spend a lot of money today.
Luckily not only hers but Lucy's mom also gave her some money as well
in the morning. Not just from her but also her dad as they knew Lucy
need everything new.
One of the highlights for Lucy was a pair of grey ankle boots. It was
love at first sight. And with a 2-inch heel. So, challenging for
someone with no experience but certainly doable. Lucy did not doubt
that she will get used to heels. Plus, no matter what, she loved those
boots. She also got herself a nice grey leather purse.
Lucy was in heaven. She could go for everything she liked. She always
loved going shopping with Ellie. But never bought stuff for herself,
always was at Ellies' side for advice. Just because guy clothes never
looked appealing to her. She usually wore hoodies or t-shirts. Nothing
special. But today she shopped everything. For herself. She felt good.
Life was good.
While they were shopping, they finally heard back from one of the guys.
Kevin texted he will be in, Linus still ignored them.
"Wanna bet?" Ellie exclaimed more than questioned.
"Bet? On what?"
"Yes, I bet that Linus, if he answers you at all, will call off his
presence at the last minute. That's how he always acted lately."
"Yeah, you're probably right. Why is he such a dickhead?"
"It all started when he met Ditzy. Maybe her airhead is contagious."
They laughed about that. Lucy texted back that she was glad Kevin
agreed to meet her. And asked if Linus was coming too, again noting the
importance.
"How do you think they'll react to me?"
"Well, they're our friends. They should be supportive. Otherwise, they
only prove they're the fuck ups they are acting as right now. Besides.
They won't recognize you. They will have a hard time believing you're
Dennis. Well, Lucy in a new shell."
"Yeah, you're right. I'm still adapting to new me. And I think so is my
mum."
"And me. Hell, look at you, such a change in just a couple of days,
that's a lot for the brain. I admit though, it must be the weirdest for
yours."
They picked up a pizza on their way to Ellie's. A big one. With a
cheesy crust. It was so greasy but also so good, just sitting on the
bed and having a slice of pizza. With the pizza they had wine. Plenty
of wine.
"So, Lucy, tell me, what about your love life? Are you into girls,
guys, both, I want to know all the gory details!"
"Oh, getting right at it, aren't we?" Lucy laughed.
"I'm just curious and want to know if we are arguing over the same boys
now."
"Well to answer your question, I don't know. Yet. I always thought that
I'm into girls exclusively. But lately, in the last few months, I found
myself looking after guys more and more, to be honest."
"So, you're bi?"
"Guess so. Haven't tried anything so far."

"No. Do you really think you would have missed it? We hang out together
all the time."

don't feel bad about that. And I don't know if I'm ready yet to jump
into relationships and everything. I'm still getting used to being in

Lucy was happy. Once Linus and Kevin will know, she can go on with her

Time flew and it was Saturday. Lucy got her blood results and there

She spent most of the afternoon texting with Ellie as she was a little
nervous. As Ellie had the house to herself and Lucy's parents were
home, they decided to have the meeting at Ellie's. Lucy went to Ellie

stomach and they prepared everything for the guys.
They wanted to meet up at 5 pm. At around 4:15 Linus texted that he
might not make it as he just went running some errands. Lucy lost her
temper and texted back "Are you fucking kidding me? You knew that we
wanted to meet at 5 pm and now you decided something else. Hell, I told
you it's important. How much of a friend are you?" After she hit send,
she felt a little better. But Ellie could still see the anger in her
eyes. As Linus was not texting back, they decided to wait for a little
while if he's coming or not. Maybe Kevin knows something.
Lucy tried to calm herself, she didn't want to look furious when Kevin
arrives. As he had no clue what's going on and Lucy didn't Want to tell
her story twice both girls decided to introduce Lucy as a friend of
Ellie at first.
It was a few minutes to 5 when Kevin arrived. Lucy was nervous. How
would it go? Will Kevin recognize her?
"Come in, Kevin" Ellie led Kevin in the living room where Lucy tried
her best to appear calm.
"This is Lucy, she's a friend of mine. Dennis had to pick something up
from home, but as Linus isn't here yet I think that's okay." Kevin was
a bit confused.
"Oh hi Lucy, I'm Kevin."
"Hi Kevin, nice to meet you," Lucy said shyly expecting Kevin to
recognize her every second. Which might ease the situation.
"And you two know each other from where?"
"College," Ellie nonchalantly stated. She out of Kevin sights and
mouthed Lucy a 'he has no clue' with a big grin across her face.
They chatted a bit and even Lucy was now sure that Kevin had no clue
who she was. She couldn't hold a titter.
It was almost 6 when Linus showed up. Ellie was mad at him and would
have loved to tell him how much of an idiot he was. But she held it in
and just said that Dennis had to leave but should be back any minute.
When Linus complained about that, Ellie growled at him, "Says the one
who shows up an hour late. If you had been on time Dennis wouldn't have
left."
Ellie offered coffee for everyone and they sat down together. It was
when Lucy's face got serious.
"Guys, I need to say something. Dennis isn't gone. It's me. So yeah,
technically he is gone."
"Huh," Kevin and Linus said in unison.
"I'm Dennis. Or I was. For you. I was never Dennis for me. I'm
transgender. I always felt like a girl."
"Uhm, listen, girl, I don't know what fucked up game you trying to
play, but do you think we're believing this shit?"
That got Ellie angry.
"Don't you dare to talk to her like that. She's telling the truth. Last
weekend she was in the shell of Dennis. Now she's her true self. And
trust me, I've never seen her happier in my life.
Lucy didn't know what to say, she had tears in her eyes.
"Guys, please, I'm still the same person, look at me, don't I look like
Dennis."
"Okay, there is some familiarity, but no way you are Dennis, that's not
possible. You are smaller than him and you don't look like a tranny."
"Wait what? You seriously said that Linus?" Lucy got incredibly angry
now. How could a so-called friend use such a word? He better
apologizes.
"Listen, I know it's hard to understand. But I took a magical pill of
some sorts and it transformed me. Ellie, you took some pictures, show
it to them."
"Wait a sec" Ellie had anger in her voice. She was really pissed at
Linus and hissed at him "Don't you think that an apology would be in
place?"
"ugh... okay, okay, I'm sorry," he said, not looking Lucy in the eyes.
"And Kevin, don't you have something to say?"
"Me? What should I say, I'm with Linus, that's a hell of a story!"
"And you are with him with the bad slur as well?"
Kevin thought it was better for him to deny that and said a quick no.
Ellie got her phone and showed them the few photos she took.
"Okay, that's Dennis with slightly longer hair, and that is Lucy with a
tad shorter hair. That proves nothing."
"Well, the changes occurred mostly during sleep phases, so we couldn't
take many photos, we are so sorry," Ellie said cynically. "But when
you're so smart, why don't you go ahead and ask Lucy something only
Dennis knows?"
Lucy had a tear on her cheek. She really couldn't believe how her
friends were acting. No signs of support.
"Okay, Lucy, Dennis whatever, you remember Kevin's party, where we all
hang out for the first time. What have you done at that party?
"I tried to be DJ."
"And what was your DJ Name?" Lucy could have sworn that Linus had an
evil grin in his face
"It was DJ Dence, as In Dennis and Dance and everyone thought it was
embarrassing. And they were right. But the whole party was shit. I
mean, admission? To a birthday party."
"Can you remember what happened to me during the preps of the Party
room?"
"You injured yourself at that weird foosball table and I drove you to
the hospital."
Linus looked at Kevin, who nodded back.
Lucy felt like a criminal being interrogated. And she certainly wasn't
the one who did something wrong. That slur still stung in her.
"Okay, we believe you for now," Kevin said.
"For now? How generous of you." Ellie was fuming.
"Dennis, can you tell us your story at least? Linus was talking again.
"It's Lucy now, and it would be nice if you could acknowledge that"
Lucy was still fighting her tears and that helped her to get not too
angry and explode at Kevin's und Linus's ignorance.
Lucy explained how she always felt, how miserable she was and that she
started feeling better once she came out to Ellie and that she found
that pill with Ellie. She also showed the website of Madame Osiris
Magic internet shop, but she still had the impression they didn't
believe her.
"Okay, Lucy, look, this is hard to understand now. There are somethings
that only Dennis knew, and you just told us, but that's still something
to get used, you have to understand that," Linus said and then gestured
to Kevin that they should leave.
"Yes, so hard for you while the whole situation was always easy for
Lucy," Ellie said before walking them to the door. Lucy stayed in the
living-room. When Ellie returned, she found her crying. The girl, who
was constantly smiling for a week and most probably is the happiest
person on earth is sitting there, crying her eyes out. She hugged Lucy.
"Those two are idiots," she said to Lucy.
"Yes. Yes, they are," Lucy sobbed.
"They probably feel privileged for being men and can't understand in
their toxic masculinity that someone doesn't want to be part of that."
"Maybe. I don't know. I thought they are our friends. But tonight, they
felt like foes. I never heard them talk like that. Especially Linus."
Lucy and Ellie kept talking about them for a while and Lucy started to
be better. They decided they don't need those two. If they are not
coming around then it shall be.
