Acres upon acres of wheat and sunflowers stretch towards the horizon. At this point, the car you rode is already long gone. Before departing, your father stared in the rear-view mirror with great disappointment, and only after a lengthy silence could he put some words together.

If everything goes according to his plans, the current scrawny you would be completely unrecognisable upon returning.
Such an idea still sounds frustrating. You're determined not to let him dictate your vacation.
Nevertheless, while this treatment was commonplace, the actual bizarre thing happened as you stepped out of the vehicle. You caught his smile in the mirror. He didn't try to hide it, and you don't know what he meant with it. While it didn't seem to hide some bad intentions, it didn't reflect any good ones either. But thinking too much over it is unlike you.
He's gone, and you're by yourself for now.
You take a deep breath, wipe the sweat on your forehead, then turn a few more times to see the entire area. The dirt path is easy to spot. The farm, even more so, as it meets the dirt path at some point and sticks out like a sore thumb with its red paint and white fences. You can see its two-story house and generic porch. Beside it is a barn, and behind, a mill and a few short roofs stick out, everything fenced into their own sections.
Finally, you're confident enough to advance. A few steps forward, and you're on the path. Another few hundreds, and you're standing in front of the main gate, the walk taking only ten minutes, even with a casual step. You lift your hand and try pushing it open, but it remains frozen after a rumble.
"Aunty Janet?" you shout, peeking over the gate, at the house. "Lucy?"
You attempt to open the gate again, but to no avail. Glancing at the fence, an idea crosses your mind. Although the fence reaches up to your shoulders, it is a four rail fence. Climbing over it sounds like more fun than forcing open the door.
You step to the side and lift your leg. Once. Twice. When you try to take another step on the 'ladder' and lift yourself over, the rail breaks under your weight, and as you fall within the fenced area, the uppermost does as well.
"Damn it..." you say to yourself in a soft tone. You are unhurt, but this blunder is sure to bring a scolding, what you hate most.
As you stand up, you dust yourself off, then continue towards the house for another minute as if nothing happened. Once the porch's shade covers you, the temperature becomes just bearable. You make no attempt to wipe the sweat off of your face, trying to appear as pitiful as possible.
You knock at the first opportunity. And soon, someone twists the handle. The door creaks loudly as it opens. It is slow, but completely worth the wait.
A woman looks up at you and smiles. She raises her eyebrows a little, visibly curious. Reaching only up to your chin, she wears a white and loose one-piece dress that hides most of her curves. As its ends touch her knees, you can see that the exposed skin is her bare, small feet and hairless calves. You quickly return your eyes back to her face. Blue eyes and dark hair that naturally hangs down her back. Her small nose is cute beyond belief, and her sharp chin almost makes you reach out to feel it. But the thing you're surprised to see most is how healthy her skin looks, hydrated, with no wrinkles.
You're completely captivated by her. The bits and pieces of memory inside your mind are coming together, and you realise that this is none other than your aunt, Janet.
"Hmm? Are you looking for Lucy?" she asks in a playful voice, taking a good look at you.
