Lastly, ‘A Special Bond’ is a Trilogy. ‘Long Weekend at the Lake’ is the second part and will be followed by the Prequel and finally by The Later Years.
I’ve spell-checked and re-read the chapters multiple times. Yet I am sure there are spelling errors, grammatical problems and incorrect words. I don’t have an editor! Just read and enjoy.
Many of you provided constructive comments, resulting in changes. This includes some of the names (too many ‘K’ names) that caused confusion. After returning from the Lake, the Peters family had a number of decisions to make. In the end Tom and Christy decided not to buy a house immediately, but rather Tom would rent until the rest of the family could relocate and join him.
The day after they got back home, RJ took Candy aside when they were finally alone. He took her into the Family Room while everyone was gone. ‘Drop your shorts and take off your panties’ RJ told his Cousin forcefully. She had obeyed his command, although she was not sure what was happening, until he told her to bend over and grab her ankles. As she presented her naked ass, RJ smacked her hard, twice, across both cheeks of her buttocks. ‘That was for being a sneaky slut and grabbing a second piece of ass off Carlo the other morning.’ At first Candy didn’t think the punishment was so bad, but RJ told her to remain bent over. He took his belt off and swung the heavy leather strap across her ass six times, really putting his might into it. As luck would have it, after several days both Candy and Kayla would start their periods within a day of each other. Candy had dodged the bullet, but she would never forget the lesson, learned at RJ’s hand. The sever strapping made her admire RJ for his strength all the more. However, she could hardly stand to sit down for a full day, and had to hide the strap marks on her ass from her brother.
After a .lot of soul searching, Candy decided to stay back at their old home, with Kenny and her mom. It would have been easier to relocate and start high-school with her cousins at the new house, but she could not bring herself to leave her brother, after finally having gotten together with him. What complicated matters, was that she was totally conflicted, because she wanted to stay close to RJ in the worst way. However, after discussing things with Kayla and RJ, the four teens came to the conclusion that they would be seeing each other on weekends, now that both the guys were driving, so Candy relented to live with Kenny.
Candy and Kenny were not positive, but the consensus was that they, and their mother, would relocate and join their father after Kenny concluded football season. If the gods smiled on him, he would win a football scholarship to some college. The thing that was up in the air was whether, if he won a scholarship, there was any downside to changing high schools half-way through his Senior year.
Candy and Kenny managed to stay with their cousins for another week and a half after returning from the lake, before returning to their own house. Then Kenny had to report for pre-season football practice. Once the Peters family left for home, RJ and Kayla had a chance to get back into their routine, including sex multiple times a day. The one advantage to their dad knowing everything was that they could now share the conjugal bed every night. Their mother took them aside and told them not to be screwing where their father could accidentally see them however, as he was still a little concerned about the kids’ relationship.
Weeks would slide into months, and those into years. The Peters, Evans and Giannini families remained close friends, particularly where Gina and Carlo were involved with the other kids.
Both RJ and Kenny would go on to college, with Kenny having gotten multiple football scholarship offers. In the end, he had decided to accept the scholarship to State College which was just in the next town over from home. This allowed him to commute to classes while staying close to his sweetie.
In future years Carlo and Gina would take over the management of the entire Sand Point Marina, when Mr. and Mrs. Giannini decided to retire, and do some traveling. RJ’s dad, Rob, would provide Carlo with a little ‘surprise gift’ from his contacts in Washington DC. Carlo and Gina spent as much time as possible with their four new friends from the lake, throughout the years.
The Evans and Peters families got closer than ever, once Tom and Christy had relocated back to town. While they maintained separate residences, you would never know who was at which house, and sleeping with whom, from day to day.
In time, all the children would marry, although the circumstances varied for each. This allowed each of the three families to slip into ‘grandparent mode’ much to the delight of the family matriarchs. Kayla and Candy decided to stick with one child each. Gina however, surprised everyone when she delivered twins.
But of course, all of the above, plus more adventures, are all part of a story for another day.
