He snorted, “and the blonde?”

Staring across the room at a tiny girl on the other side of the restaurant, who was eating soup and not responding to the stare Helen didn’t move a muscle for minutes. Even letting her run now and then,” Clarissa added gleefully. To her, the whole situation was so far out of hand, it was ludicrous. Amusing the younger, two-century-old vampire, to no end.
