Stopping in total surprise, Kim asked, “What are they doing here?”
Making light of the situation, Kelly said, “Oh, John and Ed broke some huge case this week. I’m sure you’ve seen it on the television.”
Kim had seen the news and heard Ed’s name, but had decided that it was a different Ed Biggers. Although it wasn’t a common name, surely there had to be more than one in this country. From what she knew of Ed, he was a student at the University and highly regarded within rock collecting circles.
