But having had those thoughts of my former life, and the feeling of obligation to help those in need, reminded me of something else I had to do. That something else, once thought of, was now as important to me as Jen and Vicky's well being. I even toyed with the idea that perhaps this something else was the primary reason for my going back in time in the first place. This something else was my daughter Clarity. In 1980 something wretchedly horrible would happen to her that would not only devastate her for years but would also tragically affect all the lives around her. I somehow, in some way would prevent that horrible occurrence from ever taking place.
