[Rachel & Naomi] Early September
The late evening was not at all the usual time for new residents to enter the Tee. Norma was waiting, naked, to meet Rachel and Naomi, as she usually did for new entrants. She had also recruited Mary Hall to join her. It had been decided that the two newcomers would just be taken to their rooms, leaving all of the introductions and the tour until the next day. With a little shuffling of room assignments, mother and daughter were able to be housed next to each other.
The interesting and surprising thing was how easily both Naomi and Rachel were able to strip and enter the women's section. Discussing it with the staff later, Julia surmised that it was because of the subjugation they had lived under for so long. They had learned to do what they were ordered to do, suppressing any emotional reaction. There was brief speculation as to whether the Reverend had included humiliation and exhibitionism as part of his domination of his wife and daughter. Julia cautioned them against that leap of logic, though.
Both of the Matthews women were attractive. The Reverend himself was a tall, striking, well-built man with very manly features. With his force of personality, he had been able to woo and win Naomi, undoubtedly the loveliest among the daughters of believers in his little circle.
In her early fifties, Naomi was still slender. Her problem was that she appeared too slim and the cares of her beleaguered life had given her a slump and a slackness that was not flattering. The lines on her face were not laugh lines.
Rachel had received the best genes from both parents. Her problem was just as Cy had described her to Caz on the phone. She could very well have been Cy's little sister most of the time, rather than his mother. The cares of her beleaguered life did not seem to have affected her much.
Julia would later deduce that events around her pregnancy had caused Rachel to almost check out emotionally. Her own father had forced sex upon her numerous times. She carried a child when she should still have been enjoying childish things. She was forced to lie against someone she considered to be a nice boy, although she barely knew him.
Those emotional shocks plus the veritable straight-jacket of her home life had developed in Rachel a detachment that protected her from most of what went on around her. The two exceptions in her life were her baby and her mother. Actually, she had hated her mother for quite a while after the rapes - hated her for not stopping the rapes. It took almost until Cy was born for her to realize that there was nothing that Naomi could have done to stop it. Realizing that they were co-sufferers brought mother and daughter very close by the birth.
As she got older, Rachel was aware enough to appreciate the hell it must have been for Naomi to see her husband neglect her to bed her barely pubescent daughter. That realization strengthened their bond even further.
For her part, Naomi never resented her daughter for 'stealing' her husband's attentions. Rachel had had any little flirtatious trait beaten out of her so often as a little girl that there was no way she could have done anything to try to intentionally attract the Reverend's interest. Quite to the contrary, Naomi knew that Rachel feared and detested her father.
Seemingly oblivious to the pleasing sight her naked body presented, Rachel walked zombie-like toward their rooms until they walked past the hot tub area. Because of the very real concern over extreme trauma to the women, not only were all of the men absent, but the other female residents had been asked to stay in their rooms. It was not a great sacrifice, considering the late hour.
When Rachel saw the hot tubs, she stopped in her tracks, showing the first signs of awareness since she had started to undress. "Could ... could I?" she asked timidly, waving her hand toward the tub.
Thrilled at any sign of recognition, Norma led Rachel right into the tub, with Mary and Naomi following. That took care of the plan, and the rest of the late evening took some strange turns.
"Do you no longer consider yourself a believer, Mary?" Naomi asked after they had soaked for a few minutes.
"Oh, I have not given up or renounced my faith at all," Mary answered quickly. "You have to remember that I was forced here as an alternative to standing trial."
Naomi responded "I have to admit that I am only here to prevent William, Jr. from running away and taking his chances on the streets. I honestly believe he would have done that."
"Have you no confidence that you will be helped here?" Mary asked.
"This place is filled with un ... it is a totally secular place," Naomi said, thinking out loud. "I certainly don't expect to find any spiritual strengthening here."
"I want to say this carefully," Mary said, "as I have already overstepped my bounds once. One of the hardest things for me to accept here at the Tee was the way that so many people who do not profess to be believers demonstrated so much of what we think of as the love of Christ. It was particularly hard when we did not always see that love, or any love, from fellow Christians."
That comment caused Naomi to be quiet for a while, joining Rachel who really had not said anything since sitting down in the tub. Watching the younger woman, Norma thought that she seemed like a robot, just following along with everything that happened.
"Rachel, if you're concerned about your son, let me assure that he's in good hands. Did you know that Lindsey, the girl the place is named after, is Mary's daughter and my future daughter-in-law?"
"Oh. H ... how was it named after her?" Rachel managed to ask.
"It was her idea to start it and she is giving a great deal of money toward it," Norma explained.
"So you folks are wealthy?" Rachel asked Mary.
"No, not at all," Mary corrected, "but Lindsey is. She is a country music singer and she has had some very successful songs."
"And Mary wrote the lyrics for one of those successful songs," Norma added.
"I told you on the phone what we did to drive Lindsey away, didn't I?" Mary asked. "Well, while I was doing that, Norma," and Mary gestured at Norma, "showed my daughter what a mother-daughter relationship should be like."
"So, your son is engaged to Lindsey?" Naomi asked Norma.
"Yes, you'll meet him in the morning," Norma said, knowing the impact that statement would usually have on a newcomer.
"Oh, my!" Naomi said, flushing brightly, looking around somewhat frantically, and instinctively raising her arm to cover her breasts.
"Don't worry," Mary said. "Mark is the nicest young man you will ever meet. And Norma will be right with you for a few days."
"You ... your son ... you mean... ?" Naomi stammered.
For a while, the discussion concerned family nudity. Before long, though, Norma and Mary managed to move the subject toward more general topics about teenaged children. It was clear that even that subject was painful to Rachel, especially, so Norma kept introducing other subjects that a group of women should have been able to enter in to.
As it became more and more clear how limited and restricted the mother and daughter had been in their lives, Mary was filled with sympathy for them and some anger at what her own life had been like. But thinking about how she lived right then, she was confident that the environment of the Tee and the interaction with the other women would bring the same kind of change to the lives of Naomi and Rachel that she herself had benefited from.
The conversation continued long after the group of women had to leave the hot tub. Seeing the newcomers' thirst for simple conversation, Norma had a warm feeling that the Tee was about to 'fix' two more very troubled women.
[Cy] Early September
Cy's shock at entering Lindsey's Place for the first time was almost as great as that of his mother and grandmother upon entering Transformations. The place was unrestrictedly coed. Given that it was approaching midnight and that there were almost no rules concerning attire, his initial entry was a real eye-opener.
One of the three girls who greeted him was much more shy than the others and wore a bright crimson blush and a light robe. She hung back behind the others. The other two wore grins and sleep shirts, leaving Cy to wonder if that was all they wore. One boy that greeted him had on boxers and a T-shirt.
The ultra-strict home environment and his grandfather's constant harangues to 'be holy' had not driven Cy to rebellion as might well be expected. Instead, he had developed exceptional self-control for a sixteen-year-old boy. Ever since he could remember, he had realized that his mother was very needy and his natural instinct was to protect her. He knew that her mothering left much to be desired, but there was never any doubt about her love for him. In a house where displays of emotion other than the Reverend's 'righteous anger' were treated as sin, Rachel was very affectionate to her son.
Predictably, Cy's exposure to sex in any form was almost completely eliminated. Some of the things that the Reverend railed against to his grandson and from the pulpit, Cy had to try to find out about to even understand the sin that was being talked about. Given the strictness of his school environment and his inability to access such common things as the public library or the Internet, his research attempts were difficult at best.
Fortunately, the other boys in his school had more normal home environments than his - virtually every teenaged boy in the world did. Although often embarrassed, Cy asked enough questions to learn some of the basics.
As he walked into Lindsey's Place for the first time, Cy was only thinking that right then, his mother was naked. No amount of harangue could prevent a teenaged boy from wondering about his mother's body and fantasizing about seeing her naked. That Rachel was so attractive just made it more difficult.
It seems that all teenaged girls have attractive legs. After the trip in the limo, thinking about his mother naked, just the innocent view of the two girls clad in their sleep shirts caused Cy's penis to inflate. Muriel, the housemother, saw his predicament instantly and moved herself between Cy and the other kids to give him a hug. By the time she had pulled back to introduce herself, his embarrassment had overwhelmed his arousal and Muriel proceeded to introduce the other kids.
When Muriel came to Leah, the girl in the robe, she and Cy gasped simultaneously and shouted each other's names. They were classmates at the church school! Leah was barely able to explain their reaction to the others, but finally, the introductions were completed.
"I think you will find everything you need in your room," Muriel told Cy. Then, she joked "It won't take long to put away all of your belongings, will it. Tomorrow is Saturday, so I imagine a shopping trip is in order. There are plenty of suits around if you want to take a swim or soak in the hot tub for a while. I'm going to bed. The other kids can help you with anything else you need tonight."
Muriel hugged Cy again and walked away. He stood in total confusion, looking at his watch to see that it was midnight. One of the girls, Connie, told him "There really aren't any rules here, Cy. I can see by your expression that just like the rest of us, you've had enough rules to last ten lifetimes."
"I could use a soak," the other boy, Ted, spoke up. "Come on, Cy, let's find you a suit."
Cy's next challenge came when the girls joined them in the hot tub. Leah's two piece suit was quite conservative, but still showed lots of her furiously blushing skin and some very nice curves that Cy never suspected from seeing her at school and church. Connie and Libby had opted for bikinis. He was glad that he was already under water when they appeared.
The next three hours would be indelibly etched into Cy's memory. They all went from the hot tub to the pool, back to the hot tub, to the kitchen for a snack, then to the casual chairs in a nice sitting area. Before they gave up from sheer exhaustion, he had heard a summary of the other kids' stories.
When Connie laid down with her head in Ted's lap and he affectionately stroked her hair, they could all read Cy's look. "We're not a couple or anything," Connie said. "At home, I could never do anything like this with my brothers. I like Ted and I feel comfortable with him. Now, I can show it."
Just before they broke up, Cy could not help asking "Don't they really mind if we stay up like this?"
"The way I heard it explained is this," Ted answered. "The philosophy here is that we manage everything ourselves. That will only change if we show that we can't do it well. This is the first time we have stayed up this long, but it's the first time a new person has arrived in the middle of the night. I don't know about the others, but I would never do this on a school night."
The shocks from the first night were nothing compared to the next day. Libby knocked loudly on Cy's door at about nine. "Come on, Sleepyhead! The mall opens at ten and you need some breakfast."
When Cy arrived in the kitchen area, Leah was cooking eggs. Ted explained "Breakfast is the one meal we do for ourselves, plus any snacks. For lunch and dinner, we get the same food as the people in Transformations. Of course, a lot of lunches are at school. The sandwiches they make for us here are far better than anything at the school cafeteria."
At mention of school, Cy froze. If he went back to the church school, would his grandfather try to force him to come back? "Don't worry, Cy," Ted said, as if reading Cy's mind. "You'll get all enrolled on Monday. It's an OK school."
The surprises just kept piling up when Libby grabbed some car keys from a ring in the kitchen and they all piled into a minivan. "You have a car here?" Cy asked incredulously.
"Oh, no. It belongs to the house. They want us to have as normal a living experience as possible, so they will have a car for every four or five of us. Like everything else, it's up to us to decide who gets to use it, and when." Libby laughed, and added "I guess they figure if they stick with used minivans, there won't be much risk of racing or anything like that."
"Libby!" Leah admonished. "You know it's because they can hold lots of us." That brought a laugh from all of them.
"Do you have your license, Cy?" Connie asked. He just snorted in answer. "Don't worry," she told him. "They've got an approved school all lined up. I was the only one with a license when I came here."
"So you've all been here for a month or two?" Cy asked.
"I was the first," Connie answered. "It was pretty strange being here alone for two weeks with construction still going on and everything. Still, it was better than home. When Ted arrived, it got a lot better. I can't wait until this place is full."
"I don't have much money with me," Cy lamented. "I'll have to buy just a few things for school. I don't think my mom and grandma have much with them, either."
Connie waved a credit card at him. "We're under orders to see you fully outfitted. We'll be your style consultants, won't we, Girls?" That made all three girls giggle.
Shopping, shopping, and more shopping, then lunch in the food court. It was all a little disorienting to Cy, but he loved it. When the others led him to the theater after lunch, he was about to object. It was Leah, showing unexpected boldness, who took his hand and said "I felt the same way the first time. Just enjoy it. It won't send you to hell."
By the time the group returned to Lindsey's, as the kids had dubbed it, Cy was suffering from almost non-stop culture shock. Around the table, he asked "Did all of you have trouble with your parents trying to get you back?"
The other four recounted what had happened to them. "Don't worry," Libby said. "The lawyers have it all figured out. I had a PI accompany me to and from school for several days until some kind of restraining order was issued against my parents."
"My situation is weird," Cy told them. "You know Mom is right next door at Transformations. My grandfather will have gotten home by now and he will go crazy with all three of us gone."
"Who is your legal guardian?"
"Mom is."
"If your grandfather is not your guardian, there's nothing he can do," Libby opined.
"Libby's our 'jail-house lawyer'," Ted said with a chuckle.
"He may not have any legal right," Cy said, "but that won't stop him from making all sorts of trouble."
"Where is your father?" Connie asked. At seeing Cy's sad and confused expression, she quickly said "Sorry. Guess that's none of my business."
"No. No. If ... if you're willing to listen, I'd like to tell you all about it." This part of his story had not come up the night before.
Cy insisted that they all go to a seating area before he started his tale. Then, he told them everything he knew, up to his conversation with Caz.
"You sound like you don't believe the rape story," Ted observed. When Cy nodded, Ted went on "They'll get you a lawyer, here. Maybe you can get a paternity test to find out. I can't imagine how hard it would be not knowing something like that."
Since he had heard the rape story so many times, Cy had accepted it. When he inadvertently saw 'Carter Calloway' on his birth certificate, Caz became an object of hatred. In the last few years, however, he had experienced an uneasy feeling about the whole situation.
Of course, the Reverend had often referred to the rape publicly, glorifying himself by the magnanimous way he had handled everything. Perhaps because his negative feelings toward his grandfather were so strong, Cy was loathe to believe anything the man said. Add to that the strangeness of his home situation and by the time they fled the Reverend's house, Cy was no longer sure what to believe and who to hate.
During the conversation with Caz when Caz had claimed that he could not answer Cy's questions, Cy became certain that everything he had been told was false. Suddenly, finding out the truth about his origin became a mission.
"How could I pay for a lawyer?"
"You don't have to. It's part of the service."
"Where is all this money coming from?"
"From Lindsey. I'm sure she'll tell you her story and explain why she is doing this. The interesting thing is that her mother and dad come with her when she tells it. Her home life was as bad as most of ours, but now, her parents have turned completely around. It's because of Transformations." Libby had explained all of that.
"I ... I thought Transformations was just a place where Mom and Grandma could be safe for a while. Maybe it will really be a help to them," Cy mused. "Who do I talk to about a lawyer?"
"Muriel will handle it," he was assured.
"Um, Cy," Leah asked timidly, "do you want to go to church tomorrow?"
"Oh, I couldn't go back there," Cy answered quickly.
"No, not your grandfather's church. Now, I go to the one where Lindsey and her parents and Frank Schermer's daughters go. It's like all of the good things about our other church without the ... the..."
"Without my grandfather's screwed up views, you mean?" Cy said bitterly. "You said Frank Schermer's daughters? Are they involved here?" That led to a very animated telling of the whole Schermer saga. At the end, Cy asked "What if my grandfather tried to take me back? Is it safe for me to go anywhere, now that he's home?"
"Tell Muriel and she'll have an escort. She'll even drive us."
"Then, I'd love to go. I wish Mom and Grandma could go, too, but that won't happen."
[Rachel & Naomi] Early September
Saturday was no less of a shock to Naomi and Rachel than it was to Cy, just different. Their exposure to the other women came first. It was very hard on Naomi, but Rachel seemed to be still in her 'zone' and took it all without much reaction. Next came the exam by Ryan. As usual, his lab coat and professional demeanor seemed to take much of the shock and embarrassment away.
The initial picture session with Mark was, as usual, the first major traumatic exposure. As had happened a few times before, Naomi, in particular, was so consumed by the thought of Norma so nonchalantly naked with her son that her own exposure shock was somewhat muted.
Meeting the rest of the male staff, initial workout sessions, massages - all of the standard Tee activities took their toll, and by dinner time, even Rachel was looking glassy-eyed.
Early in the afternoon, Mary Hall had sought out Julia and asked to speak to her. "I know they're supposed to stay naked for the time they are here," Mary said, referring to Naomi and Rachel, "but I have a concern.
"Their faith and going to church have always been the center of their lives. Naomi, in particular, has a sense that by coming here she has, um, turned away from her faith. I think if I could take them to church with me and make sure the boy came along, it would have a very positive effect on them."
Julia sat pensively for a few minutes, then responded "Mary, that is an excellent analysis, and I appreciate your mentioning it. I had already been thinking about how we might allow some interaction between the women and Cy. In their situation, it doesn't seem appropriate right now to force them to meet with him naked."
"My guess is that after they're here a while, naked with the other guys, they will want to do that with Cy," Mary observed. "What about church?"
"I don't think I can make a permanent exception, but for tomorrow and maybe the next few Sundays, I think your suggestion is right on. There's another angle that is important," Julia pointed out. "By going out in public, it should give them much more confidence that they really are out from under Matthews' thumb. Encourage them to identify themselves when asked. Do not tell them that we will have a couple of Carl Plonske's people shadowing them."
"I've got to do some quick clothes shopping, then," Mary said, not even mentioning reimbursement. As Mary walked away, Julia experienced one of those treasured moments when she could clearly see the positive results of the radical program she had undertaken.
Mary chose to inform Naomi and Rachel in a fairly dramatic way. Leaving the dinner table a little early, she laid out the clothes she had gotten for them on each of their beds, along with a Bible. When the after-dinner conversation broke up, she took them back to their rooms, showed them the clothes, and explained what had been arranged. When she mentioned Cy, Rachel's zone was broken into for almost the first time, and she collapsed in grateful tears.
Lindsey and the Schermer sisters were on tour that weekend, so it was just Mary, Floyd, Naomi, Rachel, Cy, and Leah in the group that went off for church.
Cy had waited outside the entrance to the Tee and engulfed his mother in a huge hug when she came out. Still hugging Rachel, he wrapped an arm around Naomi as well. Then, he introduced Leah.
"You're Norman's daughter, aren't you?" Naomi gasped. It turned out that Leah's father was an elder in the church. Somehow, the girl's presence made a real impact on mother and daughter, emphasizing the change in life that they had chosen.
[Muriel & Clark] Early December Clark was elated when Muriel told him about their weekend. He had loved her deeply since he first met her. She had been married, then, and his sense of honor had prevented him from ever revealing his feelings. When she became widowed and penniless, he helped her and Dale out of natural human concern and kindness. At the same time, he had hoped that someday he might earn her attentions. Although he had never married, Clark had been in an eight year...
They were not even onto the freeway yet when Andy pulled out his phone and called Julia. He spent several minutes explaining how he knew Andi and how they had picked her up. Julia asked if she had any pills with her, and when asked, Andi said 'no' and started to cry. Julia then asked if she knew what the pills were, getting a tearful shake of the head. Julia told Andy that there was not much she could do to help the girl. It was going to be a very, very rough night. She warned him that...
[Dale] Early May Dale had always run for conditioning, but in the last miserable week, since finding out about the cancellation of his scholarship, he had stretched out the distance because it was the closest thing to a drug that he would ever indulge in. He needed it now more than at any time since the plane crash. It was a week and a half until finals, and then, his world would undergo another wrenching change. Even though he had known since the first few weeks that he really did not...
Sleep came only in frustratingly short bursts for Barbara that Friday night before she checked in to Transformations. Remembering the one big erotic adventure of her life had not made sleep any easier. Oh, it was a wonderful memory, but it was another time, and she wore another body then. Her ex, whom she had been so in love with, had taken the last vestiges of pride in her body with him when he abandoned her. After several short, unrefreshing snoozes, she went to the bathroom, then rummaged...
After fainting on her date with the doctor, which was definitely going to be her last date with him, Chelly had a day off and called in sick the following day. With what was going on in her head, she was not safe around patients. The emotional drain from finally admitting that her whole sexual life had been spent seeking the wrong kind of man was devastating. She could not get the restaurant manager's words out of her mind when she came to in his office. He had assumed she was a hooker....
[Missy] March Missy should have felt frightened, or miserable, or something. Instead, she felt mostly numb. Truthfully, she felt a little bit of satisfaction, too. Melanie Farnsworth, her mother, actually looked like she had tears in her eyes! Of course, those could not be tears of sorrow for her daughter. They would be tears of frustration that her efforts to make something of the girl had taken a major setback. Missy's father, James Farnsworth, just looked grim. James Farnsworth looked...
[Jessica] Early July In an unrecognized form of self-punishment, Jessica resisted the urge to call Julia after she moved out. In fact, she resisted for almost a week, until the day the case documents arrived at the lawyer's office. During that week, Jessica hardly left her room. Her landlady was a kindly woman with strong mothering instincts. Like almost everyone, she felt the urge to help Jessica, and after a few days, she had the whole story. Jessica found it surprisingly therapeutic to...
[Missy] Mid July The Farnsworths arrived at the main entrance of the Tee on Saturday morning. After considerable discussion, Andy and Andi had been chosen to be their greeters and escorts. They were clad in standard staff shorts and shirt. "Mr. and Mrs. Farnsworth," Andi said as Andy opened the door. "Welcome to Transformations. I'm sure Missy will be happy to see you." That, of course, was a blatant lie, and both parents' expressions showed that they realized the falsehood....
Sunday proved to be very interesting at Fran's house. Melanie (Mel), Fran's doctor, was a former dorm mate and casual sex partner. When Carson talked her through the plan, she was enthusiastic, but had a great many questions. When she ran out of questions, she insisted it be tried out on someone besides Fran first. To no ones surprise, Carson volunteered. They decide just to do his elbow as a test, in case they ran into a problem. They also did not want to use up too much of the supply of...
[Erica & Julia] Late February "Is it OK if I start wearing clothes again?" Erica asked Julia after dinner one night. "Of course it's all right, Erica. As a matter of professional interest, can you tell me why you don't want to be naked any more?" "I guess it's because I don't need it any more," Erica answered. "In fact, it's starting to make me feel different from the other kids. No, wait - that's not right. I felt different from everyone from the first. I thought I could...
It has often been said that Christmas amplifies emotions like no other event in the year. It was hard to imagine how the emotional level for the Halls could get any higher. Mary had been a complete basket case since the kidnapping, and the supposed joy of the season had hardly dented her anguish and depression. Officially losing her daughter through manumission was a far more cruel blow than Lindsey realized. Despite all her hangups, motherhood was still the cornerstone of Mary's existence....
Saturday morning was not a happy time for Mary and Floyd Hall because it marked the end of their five days together and the beginning of two or more months of separation. Mary had checked in to the Tee in a hurry and there had been no time for lengthy goodbyes. Of course, they had known it was coming, but had refused to face up to it. Back then, the loss of physical contact did not seem like major deprivation, either. In the last five days, under Barbara's tutelage and insistence, they had...
Sarah had quit her job and moved back to room with Sonja. They would be getting a place together as soon as she found a new job. She arrived in town at the time Judy's piece on Transformations was getting wide exposure. As soon as she arrived at Sonja's, Sarah called Lindsey and Mark and asked them to come over Sunday afternoon. She told them that she and Sonja had worked out the perfect way to deal with their brother Frank Schermer. The plan required a great deal of work, but Sarah...
[Caz] Late August It was through his close surveillance of the Reverend William Matthews that Caz became aware of Transformations. When Matthews began his harangues from the pulpit against Transformations, Caz was notified by his 'inside' contact and immediately sought to find out more. If Matthews was so vehemently against the organization, it might be something that Caz should support. Or perhaps, it could somehow aid Caz in his long-sought revenge - 'the enemy of my enemy is my...
[Caz & Cy] Early October "Counsel for Reverend Matthews called and they want to negotiate," Caz's lawyer told him over the phone the morning after Marty dropped her bombshell. "I will give the Reverend the same opportunity to negotiate that he gave me," Caz said sharply. "Absolutely none." "I was hoping you would say that." Caz could hear his lawyer grinning over the phone. "I still have someone on the inside," Caz replied. "Is it all right to refer to absolute turmoil...
There were still several weeks of school left when Lindsey moved back home, but the girl who showed up in school seemed like a different person than the one who threw up in the girls' bathroom because of a false rumor. Her friends watched in wonder as she set out to instantly learn and do everything she'd missed the last four years. Trish, Janie, and Caitlin were more than happy to introduce her to the 'in' stores and to educate her on the clothes that were right for a teen. Still...
Lindsey spent a very fitful Friday night. She again slept on the hideabed in Sonja's apartment, and Sonja could here her tossing several times during the night. Sonja felt sorry for her, but there was not much she could do but be a friend. The hardest part for Sonja was that she knew exactly what Lindsey was feeling. At Dex's holiday party, Amy had pulled Sonja into the singing, and she had been 'discovered.' Her parents were there, and their anger at her performance had taken a lot of...
Having not visited or talked to his wife since she checked in to Transformations did not make it any easier for Floyd, now that he was about to check in himself. After all the preparations that had been made so he could work from there, he had almost lost his job anyway, just from distraction and inattention. It had been hard enough just existing for the four weeks that Mary had already been gone. He had completely lost track of how much he just depended on her for everything around the...
Hector could not figure it out. She was no virgin, not by a long shot. When she got going, she was a fucking machine. The friends he had invited to help 'break her in' were all begging for return engagements. His 'brainwashing' techniques seemed to be working well until he tried to get her to turn tricks. Then, it was like a stone wall came up. In all the girls he had broken in, he had never run into one like Gem (the name he had given Andi). Usually, they became attached, even devoted...
Andy and Beth waited in Andi's room while she was checked out, then walked beside the mandatory wheelchair as she was taken to the exit. Andy had parked the company van nearby, and before long they were on their way to the Tee. Conversation was sparse, with Andi obviously nervous about what she was getting into. During the night, she had tossed a lot with many misgivings about what she was doing. Ridiculous as spending a couple of months naked seemed to her, the stark reality was that she...
[Cy & Leah] Late September Friday had been an impossible day at school for Cy. His mind could not get away from thoughts about the next morning. Over and over he had decided what he was going to do, and over and over he had changed his mind. As it turned out, Saturday afternoon was just as bad. As it drew near to dinner time, he realized that what he needed was someone to talk to, someone to tell the incredible things that had been happening to him. Dr. Waxman would certainly take the...
[Julia & Ray] Early November Julia was hopeful that Janice was approaching the turning point, so she kept one midday open to talk to Ray. That day, Ray should have realized that something of import was about to happen because Norma and Muriel were waiting for him once again. Missy was also there. Including Missy had taken some thought on Julia's part. On the one hand, Missy was way too young for the upcoming discussion. On the other hand, she was very close to all of the Ralstons. She...
[Erica] Early December Genetics or environment? It is often very difficult to tell which is the primary cause. For a teenaged girl like Erica McCann, the cause did not matter. All she knew was that she was fat, she was a disgrace to her parents and her siblings, and she absolutely hated her life. In the McCann family, style was everything. Both parents, her older sister, and her younger brother were examples of physical perfection, and that seemed to be the most important thing in their...
[Rachel, Cy & Leah] Early January One day as Cy was working right after school, Julia came in and pulled him aside. "I want you to work the early morning tomorrow. Naomi will not be with your mother when she greets you." "Is something wrong?" "Not at all. Things are going well. Up until now, your mother was almost non-functional without her mother. She is ready to do some things on her own, now." "Is Grandma sad about that?" "Oh, no. She is thrilled. Much as she loves your...
[Leah & Julia] Early March "This is probably the question you've been dreading," Julia said to Leah as the girl held Cy's hand tightly. "If your mother follows through with Bradley, and if you can be convinced that home is much different, will you move back?" "If the reason for my being here no longer exists, it would be selfish to take up a spot, wouldn't it?" Leah answered. Julia should have expected that, perhaps, but it still brought moisture to her eyes. With a sigh,...
Mark had first gotten naked in front of his family on a Monday night. Going to school the next day had given him a break, but as it turned out, stripping when he came home was almost as hard as the first time. Since his ten-year-old sister Tori had been waiting all day for an explanation of erections, it was doubly trying. Norma decided that when it was her turn, she would do it Friday afternoon. Staying unclothed through the whole weekend should force her to get over the worst nervousness...
When Beth led Andy down the stairs naked that Sunday morning, he saw Julia, and tried to retreat, but Beth was having none of it. Julia's reassuring smile and Beth's firm lead somehow got him to the living room. Seeing his mother lying on the sofa with her arm over her eyes was enough to force the thought of his nakedness from his mind. One of Andy's biggest recent fears was Gretchen's health. He did not think he could have kept her schedule, and did not understand how she could. He had...
[Julia & Staff] Mid-January "I know you hate to have this subject brought up, but is Phyllis going to have to be a freebie?" Frank asked in the staff meeting the next morning. "Not a problem, this time," Julia answered. "Caz Calloway is covering her for as long as necessary. He offered as soon as he heard what had happened. "On another matter," Julia went on. "I guess you are all aware of the extreme deviation from normal admittance. I could make a joke and say 'Extreme...
Transformations A Love Story I felt a wave of pleasure shoot through me as her lips touched my right nipple... instantly as she touched me, then more as she began to kiss my right breast. Next, her right hand slid to my left breast and she slowly started to circle my nipple with her index finger. My eyes shot open and I let out a sigh - having never been awoken to anything like this. I heard a subtle "mmmmm" come from Danielle acknowledging my sigh, but the vibration of her...
It was the third night of the Transformations team's stay in paradise, following the second full day. Mark had watched with pride and enormous satisfaction as Lindsey's confidence grew by the hour. The previous day, her first day naked, she had not been able to go to breakfast, and had visibly recoiled each time she encountered a stranger. He and her other friends had kept a constant escort, or shield, around her the entire day. When the afternoon team meeting had finished on that second...
Norma let Mary nap as long as she wanted to. She either stayed in the room with her, or was close by for the three hours that Mary stayed in bed, trying to sleep, but mostly tossing restlessly. When Mary's bladder forced her to get up, Norma scurried out to fetch Ryan while she was still in the bathroom. She timed it just right, and Mary screamed when she walked out of her bathroom to see Ryan standing there. Norma was right at her side to make sure she did not faint, but otherwise did a...
Andi still cried a lot. But more and more, they were tears of happiness, or just a reaction to the kindness being shown to her. This place was unbelievable! It was exactly what she needed. She was actually starting to worry a little about having to leave some day, but mostly she just basked in the security and the care. And most especially in the presence of Andy. Her days were very full. She had never exercised vigorously in her life, but she had found what Shannon Torvold told her was...
Julia had been spending almost every evening at the Tee since Mary checked in. She had a strong desire to pull off some kind of miracle for Lindsey. Now, she had given Barbara free rein to work with the Halls together. She still found it hard to believe she had agreed to take such a risk. She had told Barbara not to tell her what was going on. Sill, she needed to be close by in case something blew up. Lindsey had been on pins and needles since coming back from dinner over on the men's side....
After Dottie had finally stopped sobbing and regained some of her composure, Andi and Andy took her on a tour. Again, she was greeted warmly by all of the women, with everyone anxious to show her what they were doing. It was almost as if they were trying to sell her on the place. There was an unexpected crisis when she first saw the hot tub. She started crying again, and almost collapsed. The whole way, Andi and Andy had been holding her tightly, so she did not actually fall. "Th......
In the planning stages for Transformations, there had been a log of concern about transferring the the effects of Immersion Therapy and re-birthing, as experienced by Shannon and Kathy at Greg's house, to a larger group of people. There was considerable doubt that the same kinds of effects could be achieved when the subject was one of many naked people. The concerns were correct, but not in a negative way. In fact, in a development that should not have been surprising, the group had its own...
The timing was perfect. Andy had worked long hours at the Tee since it opened, forgetting about school in the interim. On days when the high school guys were at school, he and Ryan were the daytime staff, along with Gretchen and Carol. Paul was on site a good deal of the time, but between operational details of the Tee and his growing outside business, his time with the residents had decreased over the months. One mid-morning, as Paul came into the office after breakfast with a new client,...
When Matt picked up Beth on Sunday afternoon to drive back to school, the mood between them was very strained. Other than a few polite questions and short answers, there was silence until they were several miles down the freeway. Suddenly, Beth started giggling uncontrollably. Matt first looked at her in puzzlement, then in disbelief. When she did not stop, he startled to chuckle, carried along by the musical quality of her laughter and his own guess at what she was laughing at. "Beth...
[Julia] Late May "What we're talking about, here," Gerald Magnuson said in his most forceful manner, "are kids who would not fall under the legal definition of abuse, but whose home situations are intolerable." He was addressing a group that included Julia, two other local psychiatrists, the director of County Children's Services, a lawyer for the county, and two counselors from regional school districts. One of the counselors spoke up immediately. "Mr. Magnuson has identified a very...
His parents and Marty were not the only people who cared about Caz. He had become one of those very successful people whose success almost no one begrudged. His long-burning hatred had been unable to kill the basic respect and care for people that had been a trademark of young Carter Calloway. Within his MLM company, there were literally hundreds of people who thought he walked on water. From the many under him who had earned enough extra to stave off bankruptcy, to those who had...
[Janice & Ted] Late November Julia gave it a few weeks before trying what she hoped would be the deciding move. It was a Saturday, and Janice usually exercised late morning, then got her massage. That morning, with her usual pro forma show of reluctance, Janice got on the table and Mark started working on her shoulders. For whatever reason, she always turned her face away from whoever was working her, so it was relatively easy for Ted to slide in and take Mark's place. The first...
[Faith] Early December "I appreciate your calling me first, Mr. Charles," Julia said after taking a call from Max. "Max, please," he said quickly. "I didn't know how Faith would take the news. I don't think we should keep it from her, but I'm concerned." "You're right to be concerned," Julia assured him. "She needs to know, so I will tell her, and I'll be sure that Dale is with her. Max, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your willingness to forgo the visits. I did not...
[Brett] Late December Brett was met just inside the door by Leah, Missy, and Connie. It was surprising how much planning and scheming had gone into his punishment. Given his offense and his attitude toward girls, Julia had decided that his direct supervision would be done by the girls, and all of them would be involved. The boys had been instructed to be friendly and helpful, but not to give him any direction. Julia had spent quite a bit of time at Lindsey's coaching the kids on how to act...
[Nancy, Ron & Julia] Late January "We certainly didn't plan for anything like this," Ron Merker lamented. "I couldn't believe it when the Halls did it to Brett," Nancy admitted. "When I threatened Chelsea with the same thing, I wasn't serious. I'm afraid I am, now." "Brett's punishment was supposed to be a one-time thing," Julia said to the Merkers as they sat in her Transformations office. Julia had come into the office that Saturday morning after her breakfast with...
[Erica & Dozer] Late April She had talked about it with Julia several times. She never knew whether she hoped Julia would talk her out of it or talk her into it. It had been very frustrating when Julia would do neither, only ask probing questions. Finally after six dates with Dozer, the last three ending with very warm kisses, she made her decision. There had never been any question, but Julia had agreed immediately. Dozer had agreed to come over right after school, bring his books,...
[Bryan] Mid May There had been no commitment from the DA people when they left after discussing more naked 'sentences' for troubled kids, but none had been expected. About three weeks later, Julia's admin caught her between appointments and said "A very distraught woman called. She said she was given your name and number by someone in the DA's office." Five days later, there was a replay of Brett's entrance into Lindsey's. There were some differences, though. Only a mother stood...
The next evening, both Norma and Paul seemed distracted, so much so that Mark commented on it. Assuring him that nothing was amiss, the whole family watched a couple of shows together, then the kids went up to finish the last homework before bed. Left alone in front of the TV, Norma said "Penny for your thoughts." "Oh, I guess I've just been thinking too much. When Dr. Waxman talked about the pay and the college benefits, it just made me depressed that I can't give him the college he...
Over the next few days, Mark experienced a lot of that same feeling from the first night in his parents' room. He was naked, and everything else about the world seemed to go on as if nothing was wrong. It didn't make sense! How could everything be so... normal? Of course, he didn't really know what disaster he was expecting. His family, even Tori, would never ridicule him, even the frequent times he was erect. No one else but the family would see him. It was just... he couldn't even...
Back when her parents tried to get her to attend the Schermer retreat, Lindsey should have been more suspicious when her father caved so easily. Suspicion, however, was not yet a big part of her nature. She had no reason to suspect her parents of doing anything drastic to her, certainly nothing physical. They were closed-minded, mean-spirited, suspicious, paranoid - the list of their passive faults was very long. But there was no reason to suspect them of any form of violence. What had...
After dinner at the Waxmans', Jeanine was subdued, but not hostile. Carol was pleased that there did not seem to be a rift developing between her and her mother. Julia, of course, was a genius, and as Carol thought back on the conversation at their house, she remembered specific things Julia said to Jeanine that must have made a huge impact. The next day, Jeanine acted in a surprisingly normal way, although Carol noticed a definite flush and an occasional recoil as she looked at her...
High School is one of the most transformative times in the life of any teenager. Boys start to sweat more. Underarm hair starts to grow. The penis and testicles grow and the scrotum gradually becomes darker. Most girls gain weight – and it’s normal for this to happen – as their body shape changes. Their breasts continue to grow and become fuller. Pubic hair becomes coarser and curlier. Only all of the above are quite normal changes. But what if by some strange twist of magic or technology there...
TeenMonth 6... It was a good thing that Erin Hunter saw Andy on a regular basis during the month. Because what walked through her office door that Saturday morning looked and carried herself like a totally different person. "Got your latte, babe," Andy said as he handed Erin her Starbucks and gave her a sweet kiss on the cheek. Dani smiled and sat. "Let me look at you," Erin said to Andy. Even though Erin had witnessed the progress, she was amazed at what stood before her. In...
[Floyd] June As Julia went about the mechanics of shutting down the men's section, the one man she thought most about was Floyd. There was no doubt that the Tee had given the Hall family a chance at a time when they were absolutely doomed. Of course, the circumstances were unique. Never again would a husband and wife have an entire section to themselves as Mary and Floyd had been able to do. In future years, Julia was sure that she would look upon Mary as one of the Tee's crowning...
19 year old Ash Ketchem found himself in a white room filled with legendary pokemon. He knew something was up. He didn't know if he wanted to be a part of it. 'Ash, my chosen one.' Ash turned around to see Arceus, the creator of all Pokemon. "Arceus!" Ash quickly exclaimed, falling to the floor, bowing. 'There is no need, Ashura. Please, get up.' Ash quickly got up. "Ummm... why did you bring me here?" Ash inquired, suddenly noticing a blush from some of the Pokemon behind Arceus. 'You've saved...
Through Month 4... Dani woke as the sun started to shine through the drawn curtains in their bedroom. She looked across the bed at the clock. Just after 7:00. Andy lay there on his back, sheets lightly across his chest. His left arm was up over his head, curled around his head. He had always been a stomach sleeper... but there he was in a more feminine pose. To Dani, his face had softened slightly. And while his facial hair still grew, it was substantially less... and...
Month 5... Over the last month, Andy had made big strides to come to grips with his developing feminine shape. But during their private sessions, he admitted to Erin that he was still extremely self-conscious about hiding his shape in public... but around Dani he was more comfortable. While comfort at home around his loving and supporting wife was easy, from a psychiatric perspective, Erin knew that Andy had to progress outside of the house. The physical changes were increasing and...
Epilogue... Andi's eyes slowly fluttered open. She felt Dani gently squeeze her hand - sitting next to the bed. Giving her wife time to focus, Dani asked, "how do you feel?" Andi thought about her answer for a few moments, then lightly chuckled under her breath as she answered, "I feel like someone kicked me in the balls." The path to get here had been unexpected... unimaginable less than a year before. Need had turned to curiosity. Curiosity to...
Because of Warren's vasectomy, Dottie had not worried about pregnancy for twenty years. In her mid forties, she was not yet menopausal, but her cycle had become very erratic and the doctor had not thought it worthwhile to put her on birth control to regulate it. The chance of pregnancy had occurred to her a few times on her weekends with Court, but had never occupied much of her attention. Since the last trip, she had noticed some morning problems, and had begun to fear the truth. When the...
"Aunt Barbara! Aunt Barbara!" Tori shrieked, and did a flying leap into the woman's arms. When Barbara reached the group, Paul said "Floyd, this is my sister Barbara. She's going to start you on your aerobic routine." He managed to shake hands, half surprised not to get a bone-crushing grip from her. His other hand attempted to shield his crotch. Very quickly, the others took showers, dried, dressed, and left. He was then alone with the daunting woman, not at all sure what to expect....
