Interlude and about Silvio’s Family.

They were both in the car to pick me up and, from the look of Jo, she had been well and truly shagged today. Mike had that silly grin on his face so I knew he had done as I asked and treated her like a princess.
I got in the car with Jo and said to her, ‘Well, how did it go?’
She smiled at me, gave me a little kiss, and said, ‘I’ll tell you all about it while we shower before dinner. Mike’s going to get it ready when we get in. I’m afraid we didn’t have time to start it before coming to pick you up,’ she added with a big grin.
Before we pulled away I tapped Mike on the shoulder and said archly, ‘And what have you been up to today?’
He gave a great big guffaw and said simply, ‘Jo!’.
I turned and looked at her closely. She looked, well, self satisfied and she looked calmer and happier than I had seen her for ages but she did seem nervous. ‘Was it good?’
‘Oh Lena, like nothing ever before. God we’re lucky to have this man.’ Then suddenly concerned, ‘I’m sorry Lena, is it all right. I haven’t upset you or anything have I? I couldn’t help myself you see. I had to have him. Please don’t hate me!’
She was nearly in tears so I took her in my arms and held her tight. ‘Don’t be so silly. Of course I’m not upset and I love you. How could I be upset when I told him to look after you and I told you to seduce him. My only regret is that I wasn’t there to see it. Now stop crying and let’s get home. You can tell me all about it while we have a bath together. What’s for dinner Mike?’
‘Well,’ he said smiling at both of us, ‘I thought a bit of steak would go down well so I’ll cook that with a pizziaola sauce. Is that OK?’
‘Mmm, sounds good. I could do with some red meat inside me,’ I added smiling archly at him.
He laughed, ‘Well, unless you want to get very messy, you’ll have to wait until next week.’
Jo and I both looked down our noses at him, pretending to be annoyed, ‘You are disgusting,’ I said, ‘but I love you so it doesn’t matter does it Jo?’
‘No, I love you too so it’s all right.’
Off he drove still grinning. We arrived home and he patted our bottoms upstairs saying, ‘Go on you two, have your bath and your chat. Remember Jo, tell her everything otherwise I’ll get a telling off tonight.’
I laughed, ‘Come on Jo, let’s leave him to cook,’ and off we went to the bathroom where we ran the bath and undressed together. Sitting there lovely and comfy, the water bubbling around us, we both relaxed completely.
‘Well,’ I said smiling, ‘tell all.’
‘Oh Lena, he was marvellous and I felt OK. I didn’t need to feel hurt or to hurt him. It was so good, like nothing before. Even better than Sunday morning. He didn’t take me there you know.’
‘I didn’t think he would, but now tell me exactly what happened. I can’t wait to hear.’
She told me about the morning and how she’d made lunch and then, afterwards, had asked him to make love to her. Then, ‘Oh Lena, I couldn’t believe it. You know when he made love to you with the sonnet. Well he did the same to me. He used the bit from Faustus, you know, about Helen, but he used my name. Oh, and I must tell you that the last line should be:

‘Yes, he’s very thoughtful like that. He wouldn’t forget me. That’s why I’m not jealous you see. I know that he thinks of me all the time. Does it bother you that he does?’
‘Oh no. I know he doesn’t love me in the same way he loves you but I know that he does love me in his own way. I certainly love him.’
‘OK up to now, come on what about the rest?’ She went to tell me all about the afternoon, how she cried and how he made her feel.
‘Oh Lena, he is so wonderful. You know I didn’t really believe you when you used to tell me about him. I thought you might be exaggerating, you know, because you were so fond of him, but it’s all true isn’t it? He makes you feel like a princess, special, the only thing in the world at that moment. I kept on crying not because I was sad but because I was so happy. Oh the sex was great but it is more than that isn’t it. He carried me through getting over Steve. That’s all in the past now, nothing about it matters any more, just the future with you and Mike, and your baby,’ she added smiling at me.
‘It’s funny,’ she carried on, ‘all those years when you used to tell me everything, like I was your mum or your sister, and now I’m doing the same to you. Oh I do love you, you know, you and him.’
‘I know,’ I said holding her, ‘and I’m so pleased that Steve is behind you now. That was the only thing that worried me, that you wouldn’t be able to get rid of those horrible feelings and forget that nasty bastard.’
‘Well I’m all right now and I’m really looking forward to the weekend. Will he take me there, do you think?’ she asked coyly.
‘Joanna,’ I laughed, ‘you are a vamp! If you want him to he will, I’m sure. He wants that badly, I know. He was like that with me the first time. It’s tremendously exciting for him, taking a woman there, and you will be virginal to him won’t you.’
‘What do you mean, I’ve done it there before, you know, with Steve?’
‘Yes, I know, but not with Mike. That’s how he will see it. Not quite as exciting as with me because I was a virgin there but he will still be very worked up. You’ll have to convince him that you want it though. He won’t do it unless he knows that, and that it will give you pleasure. He
looked at Jo and smiled softly at her, now slightly embarrassed it seemed, and said, ‘I think we could go for a 13 you know, what do you say Jo?’
She smiled shyly at him, ‘Mmm,’ and blushed which, as always, made her looked even more adorable.
We both cuddled her and kissed then began our meal. We spent the rest of the evening talking about the future, Italy, and the house. Bedtime came all to soon and Mike suggested that we all use the big bed again. I think he was still unsure about Jo being on her own. She readily agreed. I think she just wanted to hold him a bit more!
Thursday and Friday passed quickly, mostly taken up with Mike and Jo getting our things from the flat and sorting out furniture and things. Sarah took me out for a lovely meal on Friday afternoon and got me slightly tipsy. She did admit, however, that she thought I was a very lucky woman as he was a man in a million. She regretted letting him slip away. As I suspected they had had a thing a long while ago, before he was married I think, but I’m not sure. Even when he was young, she said, he was considerate and kind, and a lover far better than anyone else his age.
When Mike picked me up she got all maudlin and kissed him and everything, again offering to ‘break him in’ over the weekend. He gently rebuffed her advances, giving her a big kiss, before he ushered me into the car and drove home. God I was horny then, if I hadn’t had my period I’d have dragged him up to bed straight away. I was just going to have to wait until next week!
He had to go out on Saturday morning to make some arrangements for the house while we were away and he was going to see Silvio. All Mike was going to suggest was that they sat next to each other at the meal. Myself, I thought Silvio was cute enough to realise what was going on but never mind. The good thing about all this was that it left Jo and I on our own for almost the whole day. We went out shopping in the morning to get dresses for Sunday and some food. Then we did the housework. In the afternoon all we did was talk about tonight which Jo would spend with Mike and me, then about the party tomorrow. Obviously I wouldn’t take much part tonight, Jo was the star of the show.
‘Jo,’ I said as we were sitting in the lounge after a light lunch, ‘you don’t mind about tonight do you? I sort of forced you into it didn’t I?’
She laughed, ‘No, I don’t mind. Why do you ask?’
‘Well, with Mike and I, because of how we started I suppose, sex has always been ‘planned’. I mean, we knew when we would have sex. It wasn’t spontaneous, well only on a couple of occasions. I should have made sure you were happy with that.’
‘Oh don’t worry,’ she said smiling, ‘it was like that with Steve. I suppose it’s a consequence of how you meet somebody. Anyway, with Mike I’m enjoying looking forward to it. All the getting ready, what to wear, make-up, all those things add to the excitement, the anticipation. Is it like that for you?’
‘Oh, yes. It is. It makes the actual sex even more exciting. But I must admit I do like to do it without expecting it sometimes. Remember that night he stayed a couple of weeks ago and we woke you up.’
She laughed, ‘Yes, even when you’re quiet you’re noisy, but I didn’t mind, really. You know that don’t you?’

‘Well, we’ll both be getting ready for him in the en-suite so why don’t you wear the blue basque?’ I said, ‘You look absolutely adorable in that. At least to meet him with.’

‘So,’ I said, ‘will you wear the basque for him?’

I’ve told them how I live with a lovely lady who is like a sister to me,’ she smiled, ‘and that you are very beautiful, and that we’ve know each other for a long time, and that you are a nurse. I haven’t told them that we are lovers, that you and Mike are as well, or that you live with us now. I suspect Mike has told Silvio that you and he are together and that you live here now. That’s probably what he’s doing today. Why?’
‘Well,’ she said, ‘they know about me but I don’t know anything about them. Come on tell me all about them.’
‘OK. You now about Maria, all about Maria, I’ve told you everything haven’t I. I actually think she’s guessed that we are lovers but I don’t think she would have told anyone. She’s a very private lady, what with all her sadness. I think you’ll like her. We’ll probably see a lot of her when we get back from Italy.
‘Silvio is a lovely man. He’s a lot older than Mike, taller and more well built. I don’t wonder that he hurt Mike when he told them about Maria but he really is a very kind and tender man. He flirts outrageously with me and regularly pinches my bottom,’ I laughed, ‘I don’t mind, in fact I encourage him, I flirt with him outrageously as well. He’s full of fun and always seems to be smiling. Be careful of him because he will almost certainly pinch your bottom as well.’ I laughed, ‘It’s almost his way of
saying hello.’
‘What about his wife, doesn’t she mind?’
‘Oh, I don’t think so. She’s a lot younger than him. Mike said she was only 17 when she had Bernardo. It was a sort of arranged marriage. She came over from Italy to marry him. Luckily they have been very happy. She actually rules him with a rod of iron. She a tiny little thing and so lovely. She always ‘mums’ me when I go there. I suppose being over twenty years younger than her husband she understands how I feel about Mike. She’ll probably ‘mum’ you as well. You’ll like them both, I’m sure.’
‘What about the boys. I’ve heard you talk about them, are they really that bad?’
‘I don’t know about ‘bad’. They are very forward. The first time I met them they wouldn’t leave me alone, ‘bees round a honey pot’ Mike said. One of them touched me up, put his hand on my bottom but Mike spoke to him quite severely and nothing like that has happened since. ‘Isn’t Mike jealous?’
‘No. I thought he would be, but he isn’t. I think he was worried when I first met them because they were young men, you know, more my age and he was concerned that I might find them attractive. Well, to be honest, all three are quite good looking, but as I said to him, I have a man now and I’m not interested in boys any more. You only have two to worry about now anyway, the youngest Michelle and David. They’re 17 and 16 and not too difficult to deal with. Pietro, the next one has got himself a new girlfriend who’ll probably be there tomorrow so we don’t have to worry about him. The last time I saw him he was besotted. It was quite funny really.’
‘Isn’t there one you’ve missed out?’
Yes there was and I’d done it on purpose. I wanted her to be thinking of him apart from all the others. Our plan didn’t need too much help but I wanted to make her curious about him.
‘Yes, that’s Guy. He’s 24 and he is the most handsome man. Tall, taller than Mike, slim but not too slim, he’s very attractive. Well, I fancy him anyway.’
‘Lena, you’re terrible,’ she laughed.
‘Oh, I don’t mean really, but he is so fanciable. I wouldn’t ever try anything with him, although I do tease him unmercifully. He is very, very shy and he doesn’t do very well with girls. He’s been at university for the last 4 years, totally immersed in his work there. Mike tells me he’s quite brilliant, one of the cleverest scholars they had at Cambridge for years. He doesn’t have much time for girls I think but that might be his shyness and inexperience,’ I leaned close to her conspiratorially, ‘Mike thinks he’s only been with a couple of girls on one night stands, so he’s virtually a virgin,’ I ended laughing. ‘You’ll like him to. He’s very sweet.’ There, that should set her wondering!
‘Mmm,’ she said, ‘I’m looking forward to meeting him, he sounds nice.’
Just then the front door opened and Mike arrived home, ‘Hi everyone,’ he said as he walked into the lounge.
‘Hi,’ we both said as he bent to kiss us both on the cheek.
‘What have you two been up to today?’ he asked smiling.
‘Well,’ I said, ‘this morning we did the shopping and we bought our dresses for tomorrow. Then we did the housework and then we chatted. What did you do?’
‘I sorted some things out about the house then I saw Silvio,’ he said, ‘and told him and Gianna about Jo. I thought that the family ought to know . Is that all right Jo?’
‘Off course, I don’t mind who knows. Perhaps it will keep the boys from being too forward,’ she laughed.
‘I doubt it,’ he said laughing with her, ‘when they see a beautiful creature like you they won’t be able to stop themselves.’
‘Thank you kind sir,’ she said standing up and pecking his cheek, ‘I’m going to start dinner now you’re in. See you in a bit.’
I was a bit worried now. If all of Silvio’s family knew about Jo and Mike there was no doubt that Guy would certainly not make a pass at her or react to her if she fancied him. Not if he knew she was with Mike.
