He gestures towards the pod, which looked like a large clear egg sitting on a metal apparatus in the back of the room.

"This device will shrink to the size of a human egg, with you inside. Then, we will attach it to Jenna's uterine wall. A connector is attached to your bellybutton and functions like an umbilical cord. Jenna will take medications to make her body believe it is pregnant and it will treat you just like a fertilized egg. The device will expand slowly until you are the size of a baby, and then dissolve, after which Jenna will give birth to you."

"So I'll be a tiny full grown person?" You say bemused.

"Only until you are born, then you should grow back to your original size fairly quickly." Jenna interjected

"Okay, assuming I believe any of this, I'm supposed to just be stuck some cramped egg, in her uterus, doing nothing?"

"Well that would quite defeat the point actually," Jenna said, "in order for the treatment to be effective, we need to establish a connection as mother and child, an intimate familial bond."

Emmett spoke up again, "for this purpose we have developed a way to link your nervous system with Jenna's while you are in the womb. You'll be able to see what she sees, hear what she hears, and feel what she feels.
