Project Zulo: Postscript free porn video
(Author's Note: This isn't so much a story as an interlude, a brief
postscript to Altered Fates: Project Zulo. There was a request for a
family tree, and brief precis of the transformations that occurred
among the Peyton family in the dozen or so stories that culminated in
Project Zulo, for easy reference. Well, I aim to please so here,
presented as a conversation between two characters, is that data. If
you haven't read Project Zulo you probably shouldn't read this one
since it contains a lot of spoilers.)
PROJECT ZULO: POSTSCRIPT

The clean-up operation at Peyton International's new Reno aerospace R&D
facility, in the wake of the Project Zulo affair, had gone well. The
soldiers had left that morning, all memory of the affair wiped from
their minds by an ancient power. The crew brought in to undo what had
been done to the facility while in the hands of Colonel Alexander
Kramer's rogue operation had done so with speed and efficiency.
Not that there had been a lot of damage done to the main plant. Just a
small hole in the roof of the jet-engine testing chamber, and a larger
one in one wall. A small pool of metal, melted but now cool and hard
once more, had been carefully removed from the floor for testing. It
was the remains of what had been a replica of the fabled Medallion of
Zulo, one that had been turned to slag by the same power that had
mindwiped the soldiers. If anything could be discovered about that
power from the remains of the replica then the Order of Merlyn's
technomancer, Mitchell Jefferson, would find it.
In the commissary, waiting for their ride back to the East Coast in
Peyton International's Gulfstream III corporate jet, were three of
those who had witnessed the momentous events of the past few days.
Sitting in his chair, gazing across the coffee table that separated
them, Lucius Duvall smiled at the couple on the sofa opposite.
Mike and Gretchen Hudson were in their early fifties, a full ten years
older than Duvall himself. Mike Hudson was hunched over the laptop in
front of him on the coffee table, tapping away at its keyboard, while
his wife of thirty years was cuddled up against him, asleep and
breathing shallowly.
"Working on your report on the Project Zulo affair for the journal?"
enquired Duvall.
Mike was the editor and chief reporter/researcher for the Order of
Merlyn's in-house journal, a web-based publication the Order's far
flung members used to keep in touch with its activities, to report
sightings of sorcerous artifacts the Order tried to keep track of, and
the like. Concealed behind both software-based and magical encryption,
it was believed no one other than a genuine member of the Order could
access it.
"Yeah," said Mike, "we've got time to kill, so I thought I'd get it
down while it's all still fresh in my mind. Should I include the
revelation that Karl Stark was your birth-father, or not?"
"Why not?" shrugged Duvall. "Now that Stark himself is dead, and his
heir-apparent was there to hear it when I dropped that bombshell on
him, there's nothing to be gained from keeping it a secret anymore."
Having recently learned the extent to which members of the Church of
Stark had wormed their way into positions of influence over the past
three decades, Duvall was expecting a lot of trouble from them in the
future.
"How are you covering the Peyton curse?" asked Duvall. "There's a
pretty complicated genealogy to explain in that family."
The curse, which had been broken only yesterday, had resulted in the
Medallion of Zulo returning to the Peyton family every generation to
take the manhood of all of Josiah Peyton's male heirs.
"I've laid it out in the form of a family tree," said Mike. "Do you
want to see?"
He scrolled through his article to find it, then spun the laptop around
so it faced Duvall, who leaned in to examine it:

"Where applicable, I've put the names everyone started out with in
brackets under the names of the people they are now," said Mike.
"Depending on where the line goes from, you can tell at a glance
whether any children were the offspring of the original person or the
person who took their place later. I've either left out or included
non-relevant spouses entirely at my own whim. It's ASCII at the moment,
but I may do a fancier HTML version before posting it. I haven't
decided yet."
"It looks good," said Duvall, approvingly. "There's everything there
that those reading the journal will need to know. You've included
everyone who carried the curse."
"You're still not going to tell me who Ben and Ed Ryan are, are you?"
said Mike, resignedly.
"No, I'm still not," chuckled Duvall. "Since the original brothers
Ryan, the two who actually carried the curse, died forty years ago that
information is not relevant to your report and does not need to be
incorporated into the family tree. I understand your reporter's
curiosity, truly I do, but I'd prefer to respect their privacy. The
original Edward Ryan fathered twin sons before his transformation and
subsequent death, so ensuring the continuation of that branch of Josiah
Peyton's line. Only his descendants need concern you."
"That's fair enough, I suppose," said Mike, "and it's not as if there
isn't enough to chew over here. Some of these relationships would put
daytime soaps to shame. For example, Anne Peyton marries Mark Wayne,
who by that point is actually her old lover Judy Amis, the two having
switched identities, and they go on to have a son, Eric. Anne's father,
Arthur, is by this point actually her Aunt Agatha, and he fathers a
child by Judy Amis, the transformed Mark Wayne. Their son, Neil, later
takes on the form of Anne and Mark's son, Eric. Eric in turn becomes
Gretchen Jorgenson, a twin/clone of Neil's girlfriend, Heidi. She then
falls in love with a dashing young reporter. And we've been happily
married ever since."
Mike smiled down affectionately at his wife, still asleep and cuddled
up next to him.
"Have you explained what happened to Judy Amis, the former Mark Wayne,
in your report?"
"Not yet," said Mike, "but I will. There wouldn't have been a Project
Zulo without her. I'll lay out how she always wanted to regain her
manhood and, when the chance came to do so, she took it, and became
Alexander Kramer."
"Only to come to realize that by doing so she lost far more than she
gained," said Duvall.
"Yeah," said Mike. "She had abandoned the love of her life to be a man
again, and then discovered that only lesbian sex did it for her any
more. Desperate to be a woman again, she set her sights on stealing the
body and the life of Kate McGowen, the beautiful, famous, and openly
gay young model. Fortunately, she was stopped, and instead she ended up
becoming a doppelganger of Liz Sommers..."
"...who unbeknown to her was the lover she had abandoned years earlier,
now transformed," said Duvall.
"Sommers claims she started out as someone else before that," said
Mike. "Do we know who?"
"I haven't had a chance to ask her yet," said Duvall, "but if she's
joining the Order that's something we'll need to know."
"If Jake and Nancy had had a kid before the curse was lifted," mused
Mike," he'd have been a carrier, too."
'Nancy' was model Nancy De Niro, the former Peter Cochran, and 'Jake'
was Jacob Horowitz aka Coyote Dingo, front man of the band Deathsperm
and another member of the Order.
"Indeed," said Duvall. "Now, when they do get married, any offspring
should have great mystic potential what with being the children of
mystically transgendered parents, one of whom is himself the son of
mystically transgendered parents. The more such children that are born
the greater the chance of our species surviving what is coming."
"Guess it's up to the Medallion of Zulo to keep mystically
transgendering people, then," said Jake.
"Not just the medallion," said Duvall. "Mystically transgendered people
are coming from a number of sources. For instance, there's a shop run
by a strange but powerful old wizard that's proved a useful generator
of them over the years. A decision was taken by the Order not to
approach him, but we monitor his transformees whenever we learn of any.
If they then have children, we'll contact them."
"Right. Didn't I hear that only one of Jake's parents was transformed
by the medallion?"
"Yes, his father," said Duvall. "Ed Horowitz started out as a woman
named Jan. The identity switch was against her will, possibly
accidental, and she wasn't happy about it. She had a brief,
experimental fling with Jake's mother - an attempt to see if she could
function as a man in a heterosexual relationship, I suppose - and Jake
was the result. His mother raised him by herself."
"If Jake's mom wasn't transformed by the medallion, how did she become
a woman," asked Mike. "Was it anything to do with that wizard you
mentioned?"
"No, it wasn't. She was a graduate of St. Searle's, a very special
girls' school in upstate New York run by a rather remarkable
Englishwoman."
"And you're not going to tell me anything about it, are you?" sighed
Mike.
"Why, Mr. Hudson," smiled Duvall. "I do believe you're beginning to get
the measure of me. But don't worry. When the time is right, I'll tell
you all you need to know."
Mike knew from experience he would get no more out of Duvall, so his
assurance would have to do. For now. Grinning ruefully, he turned his
attention back to his laptop and to what was still his passion after
all these years. Talking to Lucius Duvall was always both illuminating
and frustrating, but in the end it did not matter. The important thing
was that he was a reporter.
And he had a story to finish.
