central table of his room, facing Veronika who had managed to get her top
back on properly. "Yes, quite, I would not want her to find me out; it
would spell disaster." Veronika rejoined, stretching her lithe body,

The next day, Lew was about head off to class, when Veronika came to him.

Now, for most of the time, Lew went to his classes while Veronika sat

anyway, she noted. However, still, to stick with Lew until I can discover

is this fine young lady?" Dr. Burton asked plainly after shaking hands
with Veronika. "Ah well, this is Ronnie, a cousin of mine, here for a

Burton mentioned while eyeing Veronika with a wary glance. "Yes well,

Lew noted with a heavy sigh. But perhaps, with helping out Veronika, that
can help me out. The day went by as ever, but Lew found comfort seeing
Veronika upon finishing his classes.
On the other side of town earlier that day......
"Damn it!" Pauline cried out, as she slammed her hand upon her laptop,
sitting on the table of the hotel room she and Polly Anne resided for the
time being. "Oi, what is it now?" Polly Anne called out as she exited the
bathroom. "Damn, her GPS sensor has gone away now, damn!" Pauline stated
again, her anger clearly visible on her face. "Calm down, Pauline, its
all right, one of us could go into town and see about finding her." Polly
Anne articulated, taking a moment to smooth out her skirt. "Hmm perhaps,
I shall have to contact the Master about this development. You, go and
seek her out, please," Pauline directed with a stern glance towards Polly
Anne.
"Hmph, fine I will go!" Polly Anne shouted as she left the room. Be a
good way to get some fresh air, she figured, along a chance to brush up
on her act. She pranced out of the hotel, soon making her way to a bus.
She pleaded in a little lost girl routine, which allowed her to get on
free of charge. Heh suckers, she thought as the bus rode out to the
college, Southern Highlands College.
However, soon, she found herself quite lost. Then again, she had never
been there but still she felt quite uneasy. Oh come on, she thought, that
is only an act, my mask, I am stronger than that, Polly Anne thought, or
at least when she was not in this form. She looked around to see nothing

Jon was walking out from the practice field, having enjoyed his time on
the practice squad. It's only a matter of time, he figured, before they
would let me on, just need to get them on my side that is all. As he was
walking towards the bus stop, however, he saw an odd sight: a small girl,

me find my Nanny!" she cried out. Jon looked around to see if any campus
security were around, but that station was too far away. Furthermore, he

"Hmm well I suppose I can take you to my home, and tomorrow we can look
for your Nanny, all right?" he spoke in calm and reassuring tones. He
then took Polly Anne with him on the bus, back to the homestead.
"Geez, where is Jon?" Maddy Jo asked as Lew sat at the table, with
Veronika helping out with dinner preparation. "Not sure, if it he had
gotten into something, he would tell us." Lew ruminated on it as he
looked out to the front door.
Knock knock the door went.
"Ah that must be him," Lew noted as he got up to greet his best friend.
"Hold on, Lew let me!" Veronika exclaimed as she rushed past Lew. Dang
girl, eager much, Lew thought but once he got around to the door,
Veronika stood there, shocked. For you see, Jon was there but he was not
alone. Standing next to him was little girl, who looked with uncertainty
upon Veronika.
"You.... dear sister....." the little girl, dressed like a doll uttered
softly, clutching her plush doll. What is going on here, Lew wondering as
they stood, stuck in the moment, unsure of what to do next.
