And in the final battle, Sylvan is to be killed by a poisoned dagger trap, on the final door, no saving throw allowed (but would be rolled so the players do not realize this). And right before dying tell the party she was supposed to lead them to their deaths, but this trap was not supposed to be there.
Almost a total flip on the “innocent Kaos with a magical compulsion” she could not control, and a player playing an evil character trying to get them killed. They both loved it, and said it sounded great. Of course they both agreed to play it correctly and I wrote almost 3 pages of notes from our conversation as they sat on the couch and talked.
