Being fairly near the site when she heard of the news, Wonder Woman hurried there, using the nearby woods to make a stealthy approach, before coming to the roof. Leaning her head on the hatch, she could hear some noises corresponding to human speech. Lifting the hatch let her hear them clearly- she was definitely up against terrorists. Apparently they couldn't find some scientist staff, and this worried the men in charge. Despite descending into unknown territory, Wonder Woman did not land in plain sight of the guard posted at the doors leading to the roof. It turned out he was on the other side of the door, unaware of the danger behind him.
Assuming the doors were locked, Wonder Woman sighed, knowing this will be noisy. Running at the door, she kicked them out of the hinges with both feet slamming into the metal, mid-leap. The door fell on the guard, knocking him out after the weight on his chest caused shock. However, this alerted a guard who was currently in a left wing of the hallway, and he came running, to find his comrade trapped under those fairly heavy doors. He called out to him, however there was no response- he was out. Immediately readying his weapon, he hoped to confront the cause. But it was too late already.
Wonder Woman had gone back inside the room, and crouching behind a wall, and picked her moment to strike. Once she heard the mercenary grab his walkie-talkie, she leapt out from behind the door frame and ran blindingly fast at the target who barely had time to say: ˝Huh?˝, before a knee struck his back, knocking him down. Her arms locked around his throat while her legs constricted his waist as she rolled around, having to react with violence of a greater degree because he had a weapon in one of his hands. He did fire some shots from the Scorpion SMG sadly, and this angered the Amazon, as it meant more noise. The ceiling would have some holes in it, but the man would be dead. A powerful contraction of her legs combined with the tightening of the hold produced a fairly quick loss of consciousness. But also a brain haemorrhage occurred, a rather catastrophic one. Perhaps the irritated Amazon simply acted carelessly, or thought the raising of an alert by the criminal would endanger the hostages? In any case, something disturbing had happened- the tightness of the hold applied on the man had briefly given Diana pleasure. This was the beginning...
The brief feeling of pleasure confused the Amazon, as she stood there, stunned by the manner in which she eliminated this grunt. But the urgency of the situation did not allow for thinking, and this would prove critical later on, as the mental processes in Diana's brain took a gradual turn for the peculiar. She had to hurry. The dead thug had managed to fire off some shots, and this would bring up attention. And indeed, the walkie-talkie was giving off noise that indicated someone trying to reach the man. Checking for any other humans present on the floor, Wonder Woman sped to the stairs. After the first few, she heard some door down on the lower floor opening. Two men were coming up.
Seeing as the staircase was spiral, Wonder Woman could ascertain the position of the grunts by peeking. Having done this quickly, she leapt on the railing and then dove at the men from above. They barely got to speak up before the kick slammed them into the wall. Confident, and in a high state of adrenalin, Diana took their weapons away by locking the dangerous items in a toilet. The fact that the two men sent to investigate the gunfire on the topmost floor did not report irritated the others. Was the police already trying to free the hostages? The terrorists were frequently looking through the windows, but nobody was out there. Another rather worried person was Colin, a scientist who had realized what was happening early on and hid himself from the terrorists by entering a fairly empty chemical storage closet. He hoped that the warning sign on the closet would dissuade the terrorists from unnecessary searches, while he could try and stay quiet, until rescue came.
And a rescue of sorts would indeed come. To stay out of corridors, Wonder Woman went up the ventilation shafts, making sure the cover wasn't down when she entered the narrow and mazy grid. It seemed to be on a hunch that she chose this path, and her instinct was good, like it should be from a being of divine origins. She seemed to be in a science wing. Possible hostages could be rescued, or clues as to what were the terrorists after, could be found. Seeing a solitary guard through the grates, Diana wondered what was he guarding. And a few meters ahead, she came upon another opening through which air flowed into the areas below. Computers, some machines and also desks and drawers. Could be interesting. The guard had to go, though, if she was to freely inspect the contents of all these items. Wonder Woman decided to go back a bit, and get things done from close range.
Slowly loosening the grate, she eyed the movements of the guard. Unlike the others, this one looked younger. No beard, but the squared head and a serious expression on his face meant he wasn't to be taken lightly. When he turned his head to the side, the Amazon knocked the grate down, landing to the floor. Quickly she flung the lasso at the male, aiming to disarm him. She pulled backwards, readying to knock him out with either a fist or a headbutt. However, the enraged male had not been completely subdued: one of his hands was free. Wasting no time in shouting, he pulled a knife from his belt and hurled it at the dark-haired assailant. Her supreme reflexes allowed her to dodge the blade, even though it came from close by. Her costume was somewhat of a casualty, though. A horizontal scrape mark was now interrupting the golden double W at the spot where her breasts bulged out. Diana didn't even gasp immediately, as her golden tiara connected with the man's head. Her body was divine, but her costume made of Earthly materials was not completely impervious to damage- this was a high quality, military grade knife. Not even gold is indestructible.
As Diana surveyed the superficial damage and realized the assailant had tried to undress her, most likely, owing to the fact that his pants were tight in a certain area, Colin's eyes inflated. Someone just whacked a guard! He decided to wait with coming out- there could be reinforcements to the fallen grunt. Diana was visibly annoyed at the sexist intentions of the guard she'd rendered unconscious, but managed to gather herself, and go over to the computers. Apparently, some of the research in this facility concerned technology that in Diana's opinion could be used to make various objects invisible to radar. She was a proud warrior and skilled tactician, and her mind could think up military uses of various things quickly. However, on one of the other computers, she would find something both intriguing and disturbing. A strangely named file caught her attention. In it...video files. Letting one play, she unknowingly scared Colin out of his wits. The video was about a woman sexually dominating a man, but not just that. She was beating him up, breaking him. And getting off on that. The sudden jolt of Colin's body produced a thud that she heard, but she did not react accordingly until the contents of the video were clear.
