Picard Show Concept Idea "Star Trek Galaxy&qu free porn video
Recently I watched my favorite movie reviewer upload about what he think the new Picard Show should be about. Alot of his ideas where almost exactly like the once I thought about. Some differences here and there. So i figured I'd write it down. Don't really have a place other than here to write it so I might as well do it here. Just to get it down.
First off this is not a script really just a concept. Some dialog. Some quick jumps, some long lingering scenes that stick in my head. I’m just free writing this in one go. There WILL be some mistakes. Be warned this will be tough.
Picard is on earth. Retired at his family's vineyard in France. (Yes the same place we see him in the flash forward timeline of the last episode of Star Trek TNG "All Good Things")
Geordi La Forge meets Picard in the field and asks him for help. His wife Leah Brahms (She was the original designer of the Enterprise D/ Galaxy class ship. This was set up in 2 episodes one where she is a hologram and the other where she is real) and him have been trying to track the missing USS Galaxy one of the ships that became lost in the Dominion war. Since this ship is a galaxy class ship the two of them have taken alot of time and effort finding it together.
La Forge explains he's exhausted all his pull in the higher command to find the ship, they have gone a few missions where they think the ship could have ended up and all of the missions have come up empty. Starfleet after all this time no longer wants to spend resources on finding a ship that went missing almost half a century ago.
La Forge was hoping Picard would go to Starfleet command and use some of his pull to get one last mission.
Picard and La Forge will exchange pleasantries that delve into some of the happenings of the last 25 years. Picard's wife has passed away (yes crusher) La Forge has 2 k**s with Brahms. One is in his last year of the academy looking to be an engineer and his youngest has just gotten into the academy and will attend the next semester.
Picard will then go inside to his home where he will see pictures of him and crusher and other items that they both may have enjoyed. He will then open a drawer with his old admiral uniform.
The next scene will be him dressed in his admiral uniform (with no ranking starts). he goes to see Riker who is now one of the high level admirals.
They shoot shit for a few minutes maybe diving into Riker's past, Him and Troy's married life possibly. Then Picard gets down to brass tax and asks if Riker can send La Forge on the mission to recover the USS Galaxy.
Riker gets annoyed. He explains that he's been the one that's been putting his neck on the line for La Forge time and time again. Explaining that when La Forge stepped down as captain years ago he should have been reprimanded for leaving his post prematurely. Allowed him to resign honorably to marry and have k**s and to have his "little hobby" of finding the Galaxy. But after a few failed attempts Starfleet has officially named the USS Galaxy a lost cause.
Picard then brings up moments in the past. Where they have come across lost ships. Gone on crazier missions, and time La Forge has saved both of their lives with his quick thinking.
Riker just sighs and doest really care. He gives in because you can tell he can't say no to Picard (who can really?).
But under one condition, that Picard must go, to over see the mission. That the only ship he has available is a young inexperienced ship that is coming back from a long survey mission and they aren't exactly equipped for a possible recovery mission. Picard begrudgingly agrees. Riker is surprised that he does. Says he'll arrange for transport for them to the deep space, space station.
Cut to young officers on an unfamiliar ship talking about what they will do when the are done with there current long survey mission they've been on for 2 years. Where they will go for shore leave, and other plans. You see excitement in the crew to be done with boring mission they just finished. See older captain on bridge being told he has a private high level command transmission at his personal computer in his ready room.
He takes the call from Riker. Riker explains that shore leave will have to wait until after they go on one more quick mission. He explains that a former admiral and captain and others are going to require their help to find a lost ship that is somewhere near their location, and they are the only active ship that is not currently on a mission. The captain tries to explain that his young crew is excited about shore leave and have already made plans. Riker cuts him off using his command voice tell him what has to be done, but softly explains that this mission will probably be quick, chances are they will come up empty handed. That this mission will be the last of the stones to be turned over in this long search. The captain will have full control and discression of the mission. He explains that the young crew could use this time to learn from the former admiral. The engineering crew members can learn and benifit from the time with the two great mind as well (la forge and brahms.) He’ll even make sure that they look over their systems to see if there is any optimizations they can recommend.
Captain goes to the bridge and asks to make a ship wide announcement.
(Hard cut) We don’t need to see the announcement itself.
You see La Forge, Brahms, and youngest son dressed in his cadet uniform arriving on the space station. Picard is already there reading a book and sipping on his tea at what appears to be a cafe of sorts possibly a bar. A few officers come up to Picard and ask to shake his hand and ask him questions about old missions asking for advice. You see La Forge's son asking why so many people are bothering "uncle jean luc". La Forge explains that Picard is a famous officer and did great thing. The son looks confused and basically says "yeah, but that was a LONG time ago" La Forge just laughs and says yeah it was.
They go up to Picard and he gets up and hugs Brahms and gives stern hand shake to La Forge's son. Telling him how's he's grown, and other pleasantries to show how close he is to his family as well.
Captain of the ship ( the ship name doesn’t really matter) along with the first officer meet Picard and the rest at the cafe. He interupts them in what seems to be a retelling of an old Enterprise D story (not an episode that has aired) After a large laughter has calmed down, the captain nervously introduces himself.
Introductions, bla bla bla.
They go to the ship which is being quickly attended to by both the ship’s crew and the space station crew. Supplies being brought in.
Picard apologizes that their shore leave was postponed. The captain is frank and explains that they were on a long and very uneventful deep space surveying of unexplored, and uninhabited systems. He says the crew was looking forward to it mostly because of how boring it all was.
They enter engineering and you see LaForge and Brahms looking over and talking about the ship’s systems. You see the ship’s engeneering crew looking over interested and sometimes interjecting information about any changes and or problems they’ve had. You see LaForge’s son struggling to keep up with it all.
Captain tells Picard that the crew will benefit from their knowledge. Picard calls over LaForge’s son to come with him. He can engineering is not his specialty. He figures walking around with the captain and himself would probably be a better fit for him.
They walk around the ship some more in the Captain’s personal tour for them. Maybe have the son see a young ensign he finds attractive. And have Laforge’s son run off and do something as an excuse to be closer to the young ensign.
The captain asks Picard. “do you think we are actually going to find the USS Galaxy?” Picard explains that he’s known Laforg a long time. That he is one of the best men and minds he’s served with. That this is their last best shot at finding the ship. And that he believes it is worth a shot.
In the briefing room. The Captain, First officer, Chief Engeneer, and Security Chief at assembled with Picard, LaForge and Brahms.
LaForge explains that they believe the Galaxy is going to be in a certain solar system. When asked why it would be so far from when it was lost and how he believes it would be there. He explains that they believe the ship has been effected by some sort of temporal anomaly. Which explains how it vanished with very little evidence. And all other leads they have followed has made them believe that the ship was either stolen, or vanished into an anomaly.
The captain speaks up. “You never answered the question, HOW and WHY do you think the ship is in this solar system that we are heading to?”
LaForge answers hesitantly. “We came across… almost by accident an artifact. My son he loves archaeology and ancient alien civilizations. He was looking at artifacts and translations of ancient vulcan. (or whatever other race… doesn’t really matter to me). He saw this. (an ancient tablet with drawings and inscriptions) It says ‘the galaxy, although large, and filled with species. Traveling the stars. To find. Even in 20,000 years. At the arrow point of kahs.’ It then shows what looks like a ship. Almost every expert agrees that this looks like an early Vulvan pre logic society dreaming about traveling the universe. Vulcans even like to point out how advanced this idea was for their people who barely could cultivate agriculture. But some experts started to think that this is a fraud piece because it’s doesn’t translate correctly into what vulcans WANT it to. These archaeologists say that this is what it really should translate to. ‘Inside the Galaxy are different species. It traveled the stars. Find it in 20,000 years at the arrow point of kahs.’ And the ship looks like a galaxy class shuttle craft.
“Please tell me this is a joke.” any of the ship’s officers can say this.
LaForge says, that if a temporal anomaly took the ship through space and time. It would make sense a clue could have been given through history, to get to us, to save them.
“Even if this is true, how could they know where and when they were going. IF they HAD been to that point of space and time, why wouldn’t they just try to communicate with us? Or come home. It doens’t add up” Any of the ship’s officers
“The ship can be heavily damaged without communications, the engines could be disabled, or countless other things that could be wrong . If they only have the shuttle crafts to travel, then they couldn’t get far or communicate long distance. If they are going through cyclical jumps at various points in time and space this could be the message.”
“Or it could be an old rock with words badly written on it” Any ship’s office can say this
Captain: It’s not our place to judge the merits of this mission, just to get them there. We’ll find out whether it’s there or not in a couple of days.
“If your theory IS write. And the ship IS traveling through time and space … what makes you think it will be there now? For all we know it could take days or even years for it to show up. “ Random Officer
“Yeah the tablet says 20,000 years, but do we know the exact day it was written?” Another random officer.
“This tablet has gone through a lot of testing. Even more so, since experts started questioning it’s validity. And by the best accurate testing, it’s 20,000 years old from when it was etched… which I also believe is a fact almost too important to be a coincidence. “ Brahm steps in and answers.
The meeting ends.
They get to the solar system.
Then scan for signs of a ship. None are observable right away. They go around scanning for what could be a dead ship floating without power. They scan the surfaces of the planets for signs of a crash landing. The crew starts to get restless.
The captain goes to see Picard in his room.
They exchange pleasantries. Picard knows what this is going to be about.
“I’ll say it first, It’s not looking good.”
“We’ve scanned every place the ship could be. We’ve even sent probes to scan the sun to make sure the ship wasn’t so close that it was being masked by the star’s solar radiation. But simply put it’s not hear, and if it was here it’s gone or has been destroyed.”
“If it’s ever been here? Have we scanned for tachyon particles or other evidence of temporal anomalies?”
“No… we haven’t”
The captain stands up. “Captain to the Bridge. Scan for any signs of possible temporal anomalies.”
“Wow, sir, you’re not going to believe this, but …. it’s everywhere.”
The captain, picard, laforge, and brahm go to the bridge.
“where is it coming from?” laforg asks almost running to the science station
“thats the thing I can’t pin point it. It’s everywhere”
Laforge looks at the science station along with Brahm. “It’s almost as if the entire system is a temporal anomaly. But it’s faint. If it had been a high level it would have triggered the computer’s red alert. But it’s about 10% higher than normal backround radiation. It’s definitely odd.” Brahm says
“And we are sure there isn’t a source?” Picard asks
“ Well it’s hard to see, usually this type of numbers are seen in very high numbers, and can be pin pointed because of it.” Laforge says
“What if we send out a few probes and scan the solar system seeing where it’s at it’s highest? It can basically help us map out the levels through out the system.” The ship’s science officer speak up.
“That’s a good idea.” Laforge says while looking at his wife.
“ok get it done. Map out the levels in the system. See if that gives us a hint about where the ship is.” The capatain says going into his ready room.
Eventually they find the USS Galaxy. They find that the area with the highest levels once you bring the ship into the area passes through some sort of barrier and can finally detect and see the Galaxy.
The ship looks old. Very old. It is a dead ship. All communication attempts fail. The Captain pulls the ship out of the anomaly area for the safety of the ship and the crew.
He goes to his ready room. Picard follows. He hails Riker.
“we found it, it seems to be in a pocketed area of a temperal anomaly in the exact center. I’ve taken the ship out of it just in case.”
“can you recover the ship?”
“It doesn’t look good. The ship is dead, no visible power signs, no communication. And honestly it’s in rough shape.”
“Is picard there?”
“Yes, I’m here”
“what do you want to do?”
“I think we need answers. We got here by an ancient distress signal. To be here, now. It’s fascinating. And there are a lot of questions. But also ramifications. It’s changed history once on Vulcan. If it jumps to another area or time, who knows what other changes it can do to our time line. I think we should take a shuttle. Go over there and find answers. And if we can’t get the ship out of the pocket, we get any other answers we can get, and come back.”
“I agree. OK find out what you can. If you can’t get the ship, get the answers, and see if you can scuttle it before you leave. Lets stop any other changes. Riker out”
The crew of the shuttle include Picard, Laforge, Brahm, their c***d, Chief Science office, First officer, and Medical officer.
They head to the ship. Once aboard. They get some auxiliary power online. And as they do so. The other ship disappears. The ship jumps through time and space to a new location and time.
The ship will have an extreme skeleton crew of the 7 crew members. They will uncover the mystery of what happened to the original crew, where the ship and them have been to and what they’ve done. And see things in space and time not scene before. And try to get back home.
