Author's Remarks: Hello all. Here is yet another one of my cracks at writing a story like this. I agree with some of you in that thinking my last (which happened to be my first) story seemed kind of rushed near the end. I apologize for that, and promise to take my time with this one. I hope you enjoy it. If you have any comments or suggestions, PLEASE leave them. Good or bad, they only help me write better stories for you. Author's Note II: I feel obligated to say that although the story is mine, the idea was partially borrowed from another Spells R Us story - "The Fine Print" by Jennifer. I found that to be an exceptional story, and hope nobody minds the take. Thank You. SRU: The Love Hate Rule Another story by CRUNCH Dan was sitting at his computer when he heard the front door open and close. After a few more key strokes, he got up to greet his younger brother who had just arrived home from school. After stopping off in the kitchen to grab a pop, Dan strolled into the living room. He saw a heap of junk lying near the middle of the room. "Oh Andy." He said to no one inparticular as a sigh escaped his lips. He went over to the junk and started putting it away for Andy. He hung Andy's coat on the doorknob, put his shoes in the closet, and tossed his younger brother's backpack off to the side. Then Dan went off to find Andy. Walking up the stairs, Dan thought he could hear a faint whimpering. "Andy!" he called out, "You ok?" There was no response. Dan continued walking to the top of the stairs. He went down the hall to the door of Andy's room, which was slightly ajar. He peered in. "Andy, bro, are you ok?" A flash of concern went over Dan's face. After all, he cared about his little brother. Andy looked up to see his older brother, more to him like his bodyguard or bouncer, towering over him. He always did that - he couldn't help it. After all, Dan was 6' - 3" compared to Andy's 5' - nothing frame. And he was built. Dan worked out almost every day to keep his body in shape and to put on more muscle. At college, he was one year away from being the defensive captain of the football team. Dan loved playing football. It showed too. He was the fiercest linebacker on the team. After leading this year in tackles and sacks, Dan was bound to be named an All - American. Andy wondered sometimes why Dan got all the luck in the family and it seemed HE crawled out of the shallow end of the gene pool. Andy was short, lanky, almost pale, and had no discernable muscles to speak of. He was almost smart, but not quite. He could be a better student if he worked as hard as Dan. That's what he always heard from his parents. But a C average was good enough for Andy. He just didn't care. Suddenly, a voice shook Andy out of his self imposed haze. "You ok Andy?" his brother asked again. "I - I'm all right." Andy replied meekly. He felt something warm in his eye, and knew it was blood. "What the hell happened to you Andy?" asked Dan. "I dunno." Andy cracked a slight smile, "I guess I looked at somebody the wrong way today." Dan sighed and scooped his brother up under his arm. Andy hated it when he did that. It made him feel like he was a little kid, and not a 17 year old. Dan effortlessly carried him into the bathroom and sat him down. He ran some water over a washcloth and began to clean Andy's wound. "Hey," he started, "while I do this, why don't you tell me what went down." Dan flashed that look to Andy that read, `Tell me now so I can go bust some heads in.' Andy looked at his older brother and began to relate the days happenings to him. Dan's face was flushed with anger. This was the second time since he'd been home on break that this had happened to his brother. "That son of a bitch!" Dan yelled as he pounded the wall. Andy looked over and saw a nice sized dent in the decoration now. "Why? Why would he do something like that?" Dan was really on now. It was Andy's job to coo him off so that he didn't do anything stupid. That, and Andy felt weak when his brother, the all powerful and perfect Dan, had to take care of things for him. Andy figured it was nice when they were growing up, but now it was becoming demeaning. Andy knew things could have been worse in childhood. Dan was always so much bigger than he was that he could have taken any opportunity to pick on him or maul him, like most brothers do. But ever since day one, Dan had looked out for and protected his younger brother. Their parents really liked that, and so it just made Dan even more perfect in their eyes. But Andy didn't mind. After all, he and Dan had not only grown up as brothers, but as best friends too. Andy felt really loved to have someone - especially like Dan - that would always stick up for him, no matter what. Now it was Andy that had to save his brother from irrational thinking. Dan had already got his jacket and was on his way out the door before Andy grabbed him. To the innocent bystander, the younger boy stopping the older would have seemed as futile as fighting a tank with a toothpick, but Dan always respected Andy's wishes. "Danny," Andy began, "what are you going to do? You gonna go pond his face in? Or maybe break some bones? Huh? Think about what any complaints you get for reckless behavior might do to your scholarship! C'mon and think, Danny." Andy's voice had a sobering effect on the raging Dan. Dan smiled and looked down at the ground. Mostly to cover up the wince on his face. He hated being called Danny. Andy was the only person on earth who he let still do it. It made him feel like a little kid again. "I don't know what I'd do Andy. But maybe there wouldn't be any complaints filed if I killed him?" Both boys started laughing as Andy slowly coaxed Dan back into the house. The `him' in question was Tony Ragnon. He was the captain of the Manta's football team at Valley High School. He had taken over Dan's position on the team at middle line backer after Dan had graduated and left for college. He wasn't nearly as big as Dan, but judging by his mouth he sure thought he was. Tony hated little punks that didn't care about how they looked. This included guys who dressed funny, grew long hair, or let their body's go to waste. He picked on and beat up every one of them - except one - over his high school career. Andy Clark had always managed to elude Tony. Most of that was Tony's doing, though, because he knew that messing with Andy meant messing with Dan. Dan the monster linebacker. Dan the captain of the team. Dan the big ugly lug who had just graduated and went off to college and is no longer here to protect that little punk, Clark. Tony smiled and ran a hand through his jet black hair that was slicked back. He enjoyed beating the shit out of Andy. And planned to do it every week until the end of the school year. ---------- Dan and Andy walked the halls of the Valley Mall. The noisy chatter of hundreds of conversations pulsed in their ears. "Danny," Andy whined, "You really don't have to do this. Please." Dan's brisk pace slowed down to a nice stroll. Even at his decreased speed, Andy had to sort of struggle to keep up with Dan. "Look bro," started Dan, "I can't always be here to look out for you. Besides, I know you don't like it when I do anyway. Now, you stopped me from acting on impulse today, but next time I'm not so sure you can. So we're gonna make sure that there isn't a next time. I'll hook you up with Mitch down at the Sport Supplier. He's a good guy and will help you get started on weight training. I want to make sure you can at least try to fight back next time." Andy saw the blend of seriousness and sympathy for his weaker brother in Dan's crystal blue eyes. Andy took that moment to reflect upon his current condition. He looked Dan up and down as he walked. He was a tall, powerful man, and it showed in his movements. Large strides with an air of confidence preceded him. To Andy, he was like a gentle giant. Then Andy looked down at his own scrawny body. His non-existent frame was hidden behind a loose T-shirt and baggy jeans. Standing next to his brother, he looked like a girl trapped in a boy's body. He might have even been able to get by if he had an interest in cars or sports or things like that, but that stuff just didn't excite him. He was more into things of fantasy and mythology. "Maybe," he thought, "Maybe Danny's right. I should learn to fight and defend myself. What's worse that could possibly happen to me?" With Dan leading the way, the pair rounded some corners before stopping outside where the Sport Supplier should be. But it wasn't. In it's place stood an old - looking, decrepit shop. It looked more like a store that belonged in the old parts of New England, not here in a modern mall. The front face of the store was a cold, gray stone, broken only by the small display window and wooden door. A little wooden sign poked out above the door proclaiming the shop's name to be `Spells R Us'. "What the hell!" Danny blurted out. "Where's the sports store?" He was truly baffled. That store couldn't have gone under, what with all the jocks in the area. "Maybe they just relocated, Danny." Andy chimed in. "Or maybe you took a wrong turn. You have been gone for awhile, after all." Dan considered the words of his little brother. Maybe he was right, it had been a long day. "Hey Danny," Andy said, a little hesitation in his voice, "while we're here. do ya think we could..um maybe." Dan cut off his stammering brother, "You want to see what's inside, don't you?" Andy nodded his head. Dan knew his brother had some sort of weird fascination with all that fantasy stuff, and he had had an even worse day than himself. With that, Dan reluctantly agreed and the two strode into the shop, unknowing what was about to happen. ---------- A chime from a bell over the door broke the musty silence. Andy looked around the store, his eyes as wide as saucers. He had never seen this place before in the mall, and he just knew that there had to be something special about it. Dan walked in and coughed. "Jeez," he commented, "this place isn't much on clean, is it?" Objects were here and there all over the shelves. Thrown about, on their side, piled in corners. There were some women's costumes on the far wall, and some other stuff behind the counter, but nothing really impressed Dan all too much. To him, it looked like some kind of run down old flea market. As Andy wandered around the shop, examining everything, Dan just stood there, his arms crossed and crunched across his body. The store seemed so crammed, he didn't want his huge frame knocking over anything. "Sorry about the mess, Danny - oops, I apologize. I meant to say Dan." came a voice from the back room. An old man in, what looked like a bathrobe to Dan, came out and stood behind the counter. "We're taking inventory this week, so things are a little crammed right now. Again, my apologies." Dan sized up the old man. He looked to be in his sixties, at least, with a long, silver beard, and dark eyes set back in his head. A pointed cap he wore covered up the top of his head of hair, however, an abundance of it ran down his back. Dan also noticed some markings on the old man's robe. Stars, moons, sparkles - it looked pretty cheesy. Dan noted that he had at least a good foot on the old man, but the elder didn't seem the list bit cautious or intimidated, like most people are. The old man addressed Dan again, "Go ahead and relax, my lad. You can't break anything while it's in the store. I've put a protection spell over all of it." Dan's shoulders slumped down a bit as he let out a breath of air he'd been holding in. "Protection spell?" Dan quipped, "What you supposed to be, a wizard or something?" Dan chuckled at his own wry remark. The wizard's eyes lit up. "Oooh! Very good Dan! You have no idea how long I've waited to hear somebody understand that! I knew I was going to like you!" the old man smiled. Andy wheeled around from where he was observing several old bottles on a shelf. "A wizard? You really mean it?" the excitement exuded from his voice. "Most definitely, Andy." the wizard said, "And this is my humble magic shop." Dan snorted a little. "C'mon, old man." He said. "The getup is cute and all, but you can't really expect us to believe that." However, Andy was already lost in the possibilities raging through his head. "You're right. I can't EXPECT you to believe it." The wizard replied. "But maybe I can show you by helping you with your problem." "We don't have a problem, sir." Dan replied as nice as he could. "Are you sure about that?" the wizard asked. He then turned to Andy. "My, my, Andy," he started, "that's a nasty cut you have on your forehead. Did you run into a wall or something?" The wizard chuckled, for he already knew what had happened. "N-no." Andy began. "I- I - I w-was beat up today. Again." Dan rushed over to his brother. "C'mon, Andy," he spoke comfortingly, "you don't have to tell him that." Dan was filled with emotions of pity for his younger sibling as much as embarrassment for being brothers. That feeling ashamed him. He always knew Andy wasn't as big as he was, and that he shouldn't feel superior or embarrassed. He should just do everything he could to watch out for him. Like now. "Ah, Dan. Always the protector. That's why I want to help you. It's so hard nowadays to find brothers who actually care for each other their whole lives. You impress me Dan, and for that I am grateful." The old man gave a heart warming smile to the two young men. "Realize now, that it is not often a wizard is impressed." "Thank you, sir," Dan stated for the two of them, "but I really don't think this is something that you can help us with." "Isn't it?" the wizard asked. "You want your younger brother to be stronger and healthier, am I correct?" Dan nodded his head. Andy followed suit. "Well then, maybe I can help." "How's that?" Dan said. "You got a weight set in here or something?" "No, I'm afraid weight sets are a little too slow for my line of work. I prefer a more dramatic approach." A twinkle lit up the old man's eyes. "Magic." Andy said, bewildered. "You can give us some magic that will help us." The old man smiled again. "If that is what you desire, I can help you." Dan scowled at Andy. "Andy, you've been reading too many of those damn fantasy books of yours. There's no such thing as magic." Dan was growing ever impatient. "No Danny, you're wrong." Andy shot back. He confidently defied his older brother because he knew he was right this time. Andy explained it do Dan, "See, I've done a lot of research on it at the library. I believe that magic existed at one time. Think of it as a science that people lost faith in. Then it kinda faded into the background. Like a footnote in history along with mythology and legends." "That is exactly correct, Andy." The old man was beaming, now. "You are a very intelligent lad. Now, here is my offer." The wizard produced an old, yellowed scroll from behind the counter. It seemed very tattered, and was sealed at the edge with a wax seal imprint, like from medieval times. Andy recognized the symbol as the yin yang. The symbol of intertwining good and bad from Oriental belief. "This scroll," said the wizard, "contains a magic spell that can solve your current problem." "How does it work?" Andy and Dan asked simultaneously. "Well, this is a varying directional spell." The boys looked dumbfounded. "Let me explain." Said the wizard. "All you have to do is write in the name of the person whom the spell will effect, and the consequence you wish bestowed on them. Then, read the spell and voila! The magic takes care of the rest. Meaning, Dan, that you could use this spell to make your brother stronger, or bigger, or both." The old man finished his speech with a broad waving of his arms and a smile. "How much?" was all Dan could muster to speak. The old man immediately said, "One hundred and fifty dollars - plus tax." Dan's large form nearly toppled to the ground. "One hundred and fifty! For that! We don't even know if it'll work yet!" The wizard contemplated that for a moment. "You are right, Dan, you cannot be sure it works until you try it. Tell you what, you can take the scroll now and cast the spell. If it does not work like I said it would, you can bring it back to me and I'll buy it back from you - plus fifty dollars. How's that sound, fair enough?" Dan couldn't get his credit card out fast enough. If that thingy didn't work, he'd get all his money back plus some. It was too good to be true. He smiled at the wizard as he said, "Do you take plastic?" "But of course, dear lad." The wizard said. As he rang the order up he spoke, "Now I must warn you. What you are getting is a very powerful spell that is totally irreversible. Please, please, PLEASE follow all of the instructions and head the warnings written on the scroll. It would mean so much to me. Oh, one more thing. Andy, as much as I know you'd simply love to be the one who casts the spell, you cannot. One stipulation of the magic is that the spell cannot be cast on the castor. Sorry." The wizard put the scroll in a sturdy, wooden cylinder before he handed it over to Dan. "For safe keeping. Enjoy." Dan and Andy walked out of the quaint little store with their newfound magic. Andy couldn't wait to get home to use it, but Dan had some more questions for the wizard. As he turned around to walk back in, he bumped into Mitch. Baffled, he looked around and saw that the three were standing in front of the Sports Supplier, not Spells R Us. Mitch was just getting off of work, and asked Dan if he'd like to go out for a drink. Since the two were old friends from high school, Mitch was a pretty decent safety on the team, he agreed to it after assuring Andy that he'd be home in time for their `plans' that evening. Andy reluctantly conceded and the three left together. ---------- It was well into the morning before Dan got home. He staggered into the living room and found Andy asleep on the couch. "Poor little guy." He thought, though hazily. "Well, not for long." A smile crept over Dan's face as he went over to the table where the scroll had been set. He took the scroll out to the kitchen and sat down with it at the kitchen table. Dan broke the seal on the ancient parchment and glanced it over. All the words seemed jumbled and incoherent. "I'd better sober up a bit first." Thought Dan. So before he started messing with the scroll, Dan brewed some coffee and made a sandwich. Halfway through his snack, and the pot of coffee, Dan looked again at the scroll. Most of it was some cheesy rhyming words that Dan figured to be the incantation. He looked over the necessary tools to cast the spell. "Hmm, just need some candles and a picture." Dan reached back to his pocket and pulled out his wallet. Inside, he removed a picture of his younger brother - he always kept it with him. "Well Andy," he said softly, "After tonight you will be puny no more. Hell, I could even make you the star linebacker like I was, rather than that snot nosed faggot Tony." Dan paused for a moment. If you were watching this transpire, you would've sworn you'd seen a light bulb over Dan's head. A sneer went across his lips as the idea slowly brewed in his slightly inebriated head. Dan rushed downstairs to carry things out. He rummaged around in the store room before coming out with a box of candles that were used for emergencies. Reading the scroll again, he made a small circle of candles on the floor. Next was to place the picture of the person affected inside the circle, but instead of Dan's picture of Andy, Dan placed a picture of Tony Ragnon that he cut out of one of his old yearbooks inside the circle. The scroll then instructed Dan to write in the name of the person to be affected and what was to happen to them. Dan did so. He then proceeded to read the incantation. "By the ancient mists and hidden trees, What is to become will now be seen. Spirits of old, hear my pleas, Make what wasn't now to be." Dan thought that sounded even weirder when he said it. Along the bottom of the scroll Dan noticed a small footnote that he must have glossed over. He squinted in order to read it. It read, "See LuvHat 10.4" Dan pondered that for a moment. "What the hell is a LuvHat?" he asked. Before he could think about the meaning, a slight breeze filled the room. The lights dimmed as the candles were blown out one by one. Then the lights returned to normal levels. Dan looked down again to read over that footnote, but instead noticed the scroll seemed to be shrinking. Sure enough, the scroll withered up and disappeared into a puff of smoke. "That was it?" Dan thought to himself. Maybe he messed up something, Dan was expecting more. Maybe like some thunder or lightning. He thought about how he proceeded. He was sure that he followed both the wizard's instructions and the scroll's instructions to the letter. Oh well, if it didn't work, he could get his money back. Fair deal, he supposed. ---------- Andy awoke the next morning on the couch. He did remember falling asleep there waiting for Danny to get home. Did he ever come home? Andy started wandering the house searching for his older brother. At last he found Dan passed out in his bed. He shook him and poked him to get him up. "C'mon Danny!" he yelled, "Get the lead out!" Dan let out a muffled grunt as his eyes opened slightly to see his brother pounding away at him. "Danny!" he yelled. "Go away. It's too early." Dan retorted. "It's past noon you lazy jackass." Andy said sarcastically. "Now, come on and get up and let's get down to business." "Huh? Business? What do you mean?" Then suddenly, Dan bolted up in bed. He remembered the scroll and the spell, and how Andy wanted to be there. "Oh Andy," he said apologetically, "I meant to tell you when you woke up. The scroll, it's gone." Andy's eyes grew wide with anger and fear. Seeing this, Dan quickly corrected himself. "No, no, no! I meant that I used it already and it disappeared." "You used it already?" was Andy's reply. He then hurried over to the mirror and peeled off his shirt. Examining himself, he said to Dan, "I don't feel any different. And I sure's hell don't look any different." Andy seemed deflated with despair now. He looked forlornly at Dan. Dan merely smiled as he pulled a shirt over his head. "Andy," he said, "let me explain this too you over breakfast. My treat." He flashed Andy a knowing smile. A little confused and excited all at once, Andy agreed and the two went to get freshened up. Over pancakes at IHOP, Dan layed out what had transpired the previous evening. He explained the procedure of the spell, the candles going out after it, and the funny footnote that made no sense. "LuvHat?" Andy pondered the strange word too. "I've never heard of that in anything I've read." He said. But he did love the idea that Dan told him, about what he planned to do to Tony through the spell. "When do you think it'll happen, Danny?" "I'm not sure, the spell didn't say. Maybe sooner, maybe later." "Well, the team has practice before the big game tonight. Maybe we could stop by and investigate?" Andy was smiling wickedly. "Sure, I suppose, bro. Let's finish up here and get going." The field was alive with the sounds of whistles and pads hitting each other as Dan and Andy watched the practice. The Manta's looked good this year - except for one player. Dan noticed that Tony was playing like shit. In one instance, Dan noted that Tony tried to tackle Marcus, the team's running back who is half his size, and bounced right off. Marcus kept going as if Tony were nothing but a fly in his way. Dan was smiling as he walked over to Coach Marr. The coach gave a huge smile as he saw Dan approach. "Dan!" he exclaimed, "How's my future All-American? Keeping in shape I see." The coach threw some fake punches Dan's way as Dan grinned with pride. He was always one of Coach's favorites. "Team looks good." Dan said as he squinted towards the players on the field. "But what's with Tony? He's playing awful right now." "I know." The coach said with a scowl. "He was a half hour late showing up today and now this." Coach Marr nodded his head in disapproval. "I'd bench him for tonight, but he's the only one I've got that can play that position. Hey Dan," the coach said with a wistful look in his eye, "would you mind having a word with him? Maybe giving Tony some pointers or something? It would mean a lot to me." Dan simply smiled. "Sure Coach, I'd be glad to." Tony hustled off the field when he heard Coach's whistle. He was a little scared at first. He knew how he was playing, and couldn't explain it. He had just felt kinda weird when he woke up late this morning. Coming closer, he could see Dan was standing next to Coach - along with that weakling little punk brother of his, Andy. "What's up coach?" Tony squeaked. He cleared his throat and tried to speak again. "You wanted to see me?" Again, his voice cracked. Tony hadn't sounded like that in five years. It shook him a little. Maybe being around Dan was making him nervous. Maybe that little punk squealed on him, and Dan came and told Coach. Tony glared at Andy. Andy stepped closer to Dan. Coach pulled Tony aside. "Tony, son," he said, "I figure we just got luck by having our All-Star linebacker visit us today. Now, he was kind enough to agree to talk to you and maybe give you some pointers. Is that all right with you.?" Tony was lost in his own thoughts as he was admiring Dan's build. "God, he's built." Tony thought to himself. "Son?" coach said again. "Huh? Oh, yeah, that'd be great coach." What the hell was he just thinking? Tony thought to himself. He wasn't gay. If he was, he'd have to kick his own ass. As Tony walked over to Dan, he heard the coach call out again. "Tony, get a hair cut too, would ya? I know longer hair tends to be the style these days, but you'll wear your gear better if it's shorter." Tony couldn't imagine what the coach was talking about. He always kept his hair short enough to wear his helmet, but enough to keep it slicked back and get some girls. He brought a hand up to his head and ran it through his hair as he started walking over to Dan and that little punk. He followed it to the end which should've been just to the nape of his neck - but it wasn't. Instead Tony's hair went down to almost the bottom of his neck. "That's odd," thought Tony as he neared Dan, "my hair seemed normal this morning." Tony walked up to stand in front of Dan, who seemed to loom over him. He shouldn't though. Tony knew that Dan had a couple inches on him, but he seemed a lot taller now. "Hey Tony, how's it going out there?" Dan asked with a smirk. The bastard is probably eating this up, thought Tony. Probably thinking how much better we'd be doing if he were still out there instead of me. "Ok, I guess" Tony squeaked again. His voice didn't seem right, but he just couldn't place a finger on it. He felt a tickle on his neck. When he reached to brush it off, he was greeted with more hair. It was now a little past the bottom of his neck. And Dan seemed to be growing taller every second, thought Tony. No, wait, that wasn't right. It was Tony who was shrinking. Dan and Andy started chuckling at Tony. Andy was almost outright laughing. This infuriated Tony. "What the hell did you do you little punk?!" exclaimed Tony as he lunged for Andy. Dan stood in his way, though, and Tony merely bounced off. Tony got up and brushed himself off. It was then that he noticed his hands looked smaller - maybe his nails were longer too? When he stood up, he noted that Dan now had almost a foot in height over him. Dan grinned as he bent down to whisper into Tony's ear. "I know what you've been doing, Tone." He said with a chuckle. "So I took matters into my own hands to see that it can't happen anymore. I see you've already noticed some changes. Well, fear not. More will come, and soon you won't be able to pick on anybody any more." Dan laughed as he pulled away. Tony glared up at him. "What the hell did you do you cock sucker!" he shouted at Dan. "Am I turning into a little geek like your punk brother?" Dan hit him and Tony fell to the ground - hard. Tony felt tears come to his eyes. He stood up and tried to stand toe to toe with Dan, but found he was too short. "You'll pay for this." Tony said in a now higher, softer voice. He grabbed his throat and coughed, then tried to speak again. "What have you done to me?" his meek voice asked, almost in a panic now. "I've just made sure that you'll never take advantage of ANYone again." Dan smiled, "In fact, I'm sure you'll find that the tables have been nicely turned." Dan watched as Tony squirmed around in his pants that were rapidly becoming too tight. Tony's ass started puffing out as his hips widened. Dan saw Tony draw in a sharp breath of air. He looked down and distinctly made out Tony's waist narrowing through his sweatshirt. No, it couldn't be called a sweatshirt anymore, it was more like a sweater. A nice, trim, white sweater laced around the edges with blue and gold - the school's colors. Andy was watching intently with amazement. He had believed that magic existed, but this was wild! He looked on as Tony clawed at his sweater, then noticed his longer fingernails turn a bright red color. When he looked down, a mass of hair clouded his view. He drew one of his daintier hands back to grab some of it - and came back with a lot. Tony's black hair was now down to his waist, where it stopped and became softer and fuller. At this time, Tony couldn't see what was happening to his face. His eyebrows thinned out and arched a little more. His large nose started shrinking, becoming smaller and a little more upturned at the end. His eyes seemed to grow larger - like a deer trapped in headlights, as his lips became fuller and poutier. His face then softened and rounded out. Raising his cheekbones and eliminating his protruding chin. Yet, Tony felt none of this as he was more concerned with the tingling in his chest. He was clawing at his sweater to try to subdue the sensation, but was only greeted with a new tenderness. He held his hands in place and felt his chest growing outwards. With all the strength he had left, he tried pushing his chest back in, but was very unsuccessful. His breasts were blossoming to a full, soft, round DD-Cup - stretching to the limits his sweater. A thought quickly flashed through Tony's head before he reached down to check the important stuff. He went to rip off his sweats before he saw that they had changed into a rather short skirt that showed off his very shapely, hairless legs. Tony reached up under the skirt and did not find what he was looking for. Instead he was greeted with the brief thrill of stroking his new vagina before quickly pulling away. His bambi eyes stared up at Dan, who was watching the transformation with a slack jawed surprise. "What have you done to me?" Tony said in his new breathy, "fuck me" voice. "I told you," Dan said, "I made sure that you could never take advantage of anyone again." Dan smiled a wicked smile. "But now you'll find that you can be taken advantage of rather easily. You see, the new you will be ready to open her legs for any guy that wants it. I see that as kind of a just, ironic punishment." "No. No n- no" was all Tony could whisper before his eyes glazed over and he passed out. Toni was being gently brought back to consciousness by someone. She opened her eyes and recognized Coach Marr. "Miss," he said gently, he glanced down at the name embroidered on her sweater, trying hard to stay away from the girl's ample endowments. "Miss - er - Tonya, are you all right?" Toni sat up and saw several football players huddled around her and the coach leaning over her. At any other time, this would have happened only in her dreams - all these hot guys around her - but now. "Toni." The coach looked confused before Tonya clarified it. "Call me Toni, everyone else does. And yes, I - I'm all right." She stammered. "Thank you Coach Marr. I don't understand, I've done that flip in cheerleading hundreds of times. Guess I just hit the landing wrong that time." She smiled weakly while at the same time admiring the hunks standing around her. She could feel her nipples grow stiff and that familiar warmth between her legs. She really had to get out of there now before she jumped someone's bones there on the spot. She knew she was a horny little nymph, and she giggled at the thought. ---------- While Dan and Andy walked back to the car, they laughed at what a brilliant plan that had been. "Wow Danny, you really outdid yourself. Did you see what a babe Tony became?" Andy quipped. He started scratching his chest. "Yeah, tell me about it." Dan replied. "She'll get lots of action, too, I can guarantee that." Dan watched as Andy walked ahead of him, and noticed that his younger brother seemed a little bigger some how. Maybe in the legs? He was walking with a little more confidence - a little more, wiggle? "Hey, Andy," Dan said, "You feeling Ok?" "Just fine." Andy said with a slight crack in his voice. He cleared his throat. "I feel better than ever." His voice seemed higher now. His walk was more of a sway. Mostly because Andy's hips had flared out and his butt was more rounded. "Oh no!" Dan thought as he grabbed Andy by the arm and started racing towards the car. He could feel Andy's nails digging into his arm. "Ouch! C;mon Danny, that hurts!" came a feminine shriek from behind him. "What gives you big lug?" Dan stopped at the car and turned to look at his brother. He noticed that the white tee Andy was wearing earlier had been replaced by a sweater like Toni's, and his jeans were shrinking fast, exposing Andy's curvy legs and plump derriere. "Shit!" Dan said as he and Andy piled into the car. Dan sped off towards the mall. "Where are you going so fast, Danny?" Andy asked in a soprano voice. Dan turned to respond and saw his brother's sunny blonde hair falling over his shoulders. "We have to go see someone at the mall, now." He replied hurriedly. Dan didn't even want to think about the other changes as they raced towards the mall entrance. Andie's voluptuous breasts bounced and jiggled with every gallop, and her skirt felt like it was flying up with every step, showing off her nice, round ass to the world. "Danny!" she cried, "Slow down, please!" Dan winced at the sound of that feminine voice. He couldn't even bring himself to turn around and see where it was coming from. The two raced through the mall corridors, looking for the old man's shop. Well, Dan was at least. Andie was busy trying to stop and look at all the sales on clothes, shoes, and of course, lingerie. After what seemed like hours to Dan, which was only a few brief minutes, the couple stood at the doorway to the wizard's shop. Dan rushed in, pulling Andie behind him, intent on getting some answers for this. "Wizard!" he shouted out. "Wizard! Where the hell are you?!" Dan was really fuming. "Now, now, Dan." Came that familiar voice from behind the counter. "There is no need to shout. What seems to be the problem?" "What do you mean what seems to be the problem? Look!" He pointed in Andie's direction. "My little brother is THAT now! It's your fault!" The wizard glared at Dan. "I don't take kindly to accusations, young man. The events that transpired were through no fault of my own. I gave clear and explicit instructions to follow what the scroll said precisely. Did you do that?" Dan thought for a moment, recalling the happenings of last night. "Yes - yes I did!" he insisted. "Everything?" the wizard edged on. Dan thought harder. With a little more hesitation in his voice, he answered, "Y-yes, I'm positive." The wizard glanced over in Andie's direction, and she gave him a demure smile and a wink. "Well, let's just see about that." And with that the wizard produced the scroll from under the counter. He unraveled it and looked it over. "Dan," he spoke, "Exactly what did you cast on Andy?" Dan looked down to the floor and spoke softly. "I - I didn't cast it on Andy. I used the spell to get back Tony - I changed him into a mindless tramp." "What about this note here?" the wizard prodded, "Did you follow the rule?" Dan looked shocked. "What rule? It was just a bunch of nonsense." The old man frowned. "No Dan, there is no nonsense in magic. Everything has a purpose." The wizard then bent over and came back up with a large, dusty book. "What's that?" Dan asked. The wizard ignored him and started flipping through the pages. He was mumbling to himself before "Aha! Here it is. The Love -Hate Rule. It states basically that any punishment, in an act of revenge, that you see fit for your enemy should be no harsher than what you would give your closest loved one." A look of terror washed over Dan's face. "W-what d - does that m- m -mean?" he choked out. "Well, Dan, it means that since you used the spell to seek revenge on Tony, you also saw it fit enough to be used on Andy - in layman's terms." The wizard looked once more over at Andie. "And it was a very nice cast, too, Dan. You have never stopped impressing me. That's pretty close to being my own handiwork. Now, since I believe I have cleared everything up, I must ask you to go. I still have a lot of work to do." The wizard then turned and departed into the back room. Dan and his new sister departed the store and started back towards the car. Dan glanced over at Andie and looked her up and down, shame welling in his soul for what he had done to his little brother. She didn't even seem to notice that she used to be a guy. Why should she? Dan thought, she definitely doesn't look the part. Her light blonde hair hung just beneath her shoulders, framing her soft facial features. Her feminine curves were only accentuated in the tight cheerleaders outfit she was wearing. Dan glanced at the name embroidered above her generous breasts. "Andrea" it read. Dan decided to try to make things right, in his own mind. "Andrea," he began. He almost stopped there. Saying that mane made him feel nauseous. "I - I'm sorry." Dan really looked dejected. The young girl stared up at Dan with those light blue eyes, and they looked worried. "What for Danny?" she cooed. "Danny, what's wrong?" Dan looked surprised and tried to cover up. "Um, n - nothing's wrong, I ju" she cut him off before he could finished. "I know something's wrong Danny, you never call me Andrea unless something's upset you." Dan hung his head. "Oh, Danny. Are you sad because you picked the wrong mall to go to? Ya know, `cause the sale was a the other mall?" She smiled and hopped up to kiss him on the cheek. "You're so sweet Danny. I love having you for a brother. If you wanted to be even sweeter, you could give me a ride to cheerleading practice. The big game is tonight you know. I'm sure Toni's already wondering why I'm not there." "Sure, I guess." Dan said, a little lighter now. Hearing her say that she loved him as a brother made him feel a little better about his mistake. It didn't seem so bad now, and she seemed happy. All in all, Dan supposed that if Toni and Andie were friends, then the problem was solved. So Dan, with his powerful strides, and Andie, with her ass wiggling all the way, made their way back to Dan's car to start on their new times together - as brother and sister.

SRU Friends are Thicker than Wishes

Here's my SRU anniversary story that I mentioned last week. I had hoped to have it ready for the October 8 anniversary, but fell a little short. Either that or I got a little longwinded ... again. This story is a little different from the others as I've written in the SRU universe in that its also a prequel of sorts to one of my non-SRU stories posted last month. It didn't start out that way, but given some of the characters I needed for this, I think it worked out better. You...

SRU Convention

Just a quick note, this is my first attempt at a transgender story. So all critism will be openly accepted. SRU: Convention by Greg Iacovelli As I walked through the mall looking for a costume to wear to the animae convention I saw the same stuff in every store window, stuff for Halloween. It was October 12, 1998 and my friend agreed to go in costume if I got it for him and he said any costume so I planned to do him over good. I still remember the conversation...

SRU Game On

Author's note: Due to the responses this story has gotten, and a few comments I've received, I've decided to reedit this story. The names are fixed, no more 'S kissed C and N fists R'. I've fixed the spellings of many things, and threw in a few surprises to leave holes for future stories to tie in. I WILL WRITE MORE GAME ON STORIES! NOTE: The story is based on many Spells R Us stories. Thank you to the authors who wrote the stories for the inspiration they have given me, mostly the...

SRU The Wicked Stepmother

SRU: The Wicked Stepmother part 1 of 4 By Morpheus The clear sound of her high heels clicking against the hard floor was comforting to Stephanie Miller as she walked through the crowded mall, grimly intent on her purpose. SRU Lovers Knot First Draft

Some time ago, Raven and I collaborated on an SRU story called Lovers (K)Not, which is unfortunately incomplete at this time. Raven created the story idea, basic plot and the main characters, and then asked me to write a rough draft based on the information that he gave me. After I completed the rough draft, I sent it to him, where he polished it up and added quite a bit more detail as well as his own touches. Raven posted each chapter to Fictionmania after he'd finished his...

SRU High School Reunion

This is written for the third anniversary of the SRU universe. It's a little late, but somethings can't be helped. The first story specifically designated as SRU (although I spelled it all out the first couple of posts) was posted to the TSA-TALK mailing list on October 8, 1996. At first, I wasn't sure if I would have the time to write an anniversary story. There was the crossover series with the Altered Fates universe to consider, although that project now looks dead. And I didn't...

SRU Nicely Backfired

SRU: Nicely Backfired: by Donna-Allyson McCleod (my first attempt at short SRU story) It had all started a month earlier when Shirley Davis had moved into Don's neighborhood along with her older sister Valerie and their estranged mother Sherry. Don Wallace was a senior at St. Mary's Boy's High School at the time. Shirley Davis had immediately caught Don's eye on her first day at the school. Shirley was sixteen and had transferred into the adjoining St. Mary's School for Girls as a...

SRU An Error in Application

Warning: This story contains adult material. SRU: An Error in Application by Fringold Sixfingers Lyle Green had heard several rumors about the 'Spells R Us' shop in the mall. Sense he did not believe in magic, he took the stories as tells of fancy. There was one rumor he was not about to ignore. The best place to buy computer hardware was SRU. Lyle could use an upgrade to keep him competitive. Soon he was outside the shop. Not at all what he was expecting. The store looked more...

SRUAF A Wizards Altered Fate

Author's Notes by Bill Hart This was initially intended to be the second posting of the collaborative crossover set in the 'Spells R Us' and 'Altered Fates' universes written by myself and Raven. However, after finally making contact with Raven, we decided my story could be posted first, with his story becoming a prequel of sorts, instead of the lead in. Before I do anything else I would like...

SRU Well Dressed

SRU: Well Dressed By Bashful Jack Edward Wilson was a relatively happy man. He had a good job and a wonderful wife. They had not been blessed with children yet but that was just a matter of time, he was sure. Jack really enjoyed his job, it was something he liked doing and he was good at it. He worked for a good company that treated it's employees well. You'd think he had the perfect life and you'd be right, except for one little thing. Jack wished he was a...

SRU Hunting Season

Note: This is rather tame compared to the other SRU stories and I took a few liberties with this one. I hope that I don't piss anyone off with it. There is no sex on this one so if that is a deciding factor for you, pass this one by. Please let me know what you think of this story, whether you like or dislike it. I have other stories that I'm working on and hopefully will post in the future. This story may be posted to any sight that doesn't charge a fee. All others must get my...

SRU Pantyhose

SRU: PANTYHOSE BY PAUL G. JUTRAS "Why can't I wear clothes like that." Was the thought that often ran through Chris's mind. Chris was a pleasant twenty-two year old. Anyone who looked at him would think he was a normal boy checking out girls. What he was looking at was the clothes they had on. Clothes he wish he could have on. His mother's side of the family ran a night club and during the early evening he listened to the music and wondered what it would be like to feel silk...

SRU Christmas Miracles

SRU: Christmas Miracles Copyright (c) 1999 by Chilli TNG --------------------------------------- Notes: The Spells 'R' Us Universe was created by Bill Hart; any characters from that universe that I've borrowed are ultimately his and I thank him for opening this universe to everyone. This is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to anyone living, dead, or undead is totally coincidental. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to get a life. Comments and thoughtful...

SRU Half and Half

SRU: HALF AND HALF By Roy Del Frink A disgruntled lady walked up to the counter, holding a paper bag in her arm. "Listen here, buddy," she said to the old man behind the counter, "you sold me a potion that would turn my husband into the next thing I said. I said, 'Change my husband into a Chippendale dancer,' and look what happened!" She placed the bag on the counter, and opened it. The lady pulled out two chipmunks, dressed in tiny top hats, tuxes, and canes. One had a...

SRU Ultimate Sacrifice

Note: This Story contains an exceptionally grisly scene. As always, The SRU universe and related Intellectual Property are copyrighted to Bill Hart. Thanks to Bill for creating this wide and grand universe. This story may be archived on any free site. SRU: Ultimate Sacrifice By Lucretia Alex was walking to the mall, planning on stopping by the food court to grab some grub. He cursed his car, which broke down yesterday. He looked like the walk could do him some good for at 23;...

SRU Better Than Plastic

SRU: Better Than Plastic By Roy Del Frink Mark and Susan Johnson had been married ten long, happy years. They were a perfect couple. Although they were childless, they planned to have children soon; in fact, Mark had tried to impregnate Susan for two months without success. Mark was pleased with his job balancing the bank's checkbooks, and Susan was equally pleased to serve as receptionist for the local high school. Time was starting to wreak havoc on the thirty-something couple's...

SRU Chads Story

SRU: Chad's Story By Bashful Chad walked into the mall and looked around. He needed some girls to come to the frat party tonight. So far he had struck out. Last year he had come up with the idea to bring back the party committee and party fund. He had been appointed party chairman as a result. This was to be the first big party of the new school year. Chad was a senior and he wanted to make this last year of college a memorable one. Chad stopped and stared at a little...

SRU Jerry Jerry Jerry

SRU: Jerry...Jerry...Jerry... by [email protected] edited by SteveZ The SRU Universe belongs to the great Bill Hart, but most of you already knew that. Although it pains me to say it, I was watching an episode of the Springer show the other day, and this story seemed natural. This story can be posted on any free site. (Especially FM!) ********************************************************** "Welcome to the show, today's topic: Magical Gender Changes. We ...

SRU Learning French

SRU: Learning French By Demonn Hi, my name is Todd or should I say was Todd. I am, was 5' 10" and maybe just a bit of a geek. I wasn't ugly mind you but I wasn't all that incredibly strong. But that didn't stop me having friends like everyone else. It was a Saturday and like always, I was going to have some fun at my friend's house. I was a simple 15 year old guy, who enjoyed some R&R, when, my high school, Rivers High, was out. I mean who didn't. When I arrived at...

SRU Catwalk Comeback

SRU: Catwalk comeback By MTG 15th August 2002 Well, a month before heading back to South Bank University to complete my Computing degree, I was in the Bentalls centre in Kingston shopping for bits and pieces so I would be ready when term started in about a month's time. After my quite literally 'out of this world' year I had already been itching to get back to normality after April - post the events of July I couldn't wait for term to start - with Steve having already...

SRU Weekend in Reno

This, my first FictionMania story, is based on a real weekend in October 2003. Just about everything in the first section of the story is true. Beyond that, well, this is an SRU story after all. (Reno girlfriends: no attempt has been made to match the characters in this story to any of you! Your secrets are safe...) --- We had been planning this outing for months. Most of the girls in my Yahoo Group had never met each other in person, but now we were going to get together in Reno...

SRU Mana Burn

Doing serious stories is quite enjoyable. Despite the fact that I'm still in the process of working on a rather long opus, I felt that a break was in order. Recharging the batteries through a little bit of humor has always been a fun tactic for me, so without further ado, I give you my first, and probably only entry into the Spells R Us universe. This particular story was inspired by a description of the card rack in SRU-Trading Cards, and the wizard's fondness for games as described in...
