SRU: Summer Camp
By Morpheus
David and Kimberly Bennett were both silent as they walked through the
mall, each lost in their own thoughts, but taking comfort from the
others presence. The twelve year old twins were not at all happy, and
for good reason.
They'd just been told by their parents that they were going to be sent
off to summer camp for six weeks, even though neither of them wanted to
go. And even worse was the fact that they were being forcibly sent to
separate camps. Camps that were on opposite sides of the same lake, but
one was an all boys summer camp, and the other was an all girls. This
practically guaranteed that not only would they be away from home and
all their friends, but that they wouldn't even have each other.
"Man," David groaned, "this sucks." The boy absently ran a hand through
his shoulder length dark blonde hair and continued, "This is so unfair."
"I know," Kim agreed, not bothering to look at her brother as she
answered, "I told mom that and she just said that it would be good for
us," Kim snorted in disgust. "They don't care about what's good for us.
They just want to get rid of us for the summer."
Kim sighed, and ran a hair through her own hair in a manner that nearly
mimicked the one her brother had made moments before. However, even
though they both had the same color of hair, Kim's was ironically cut a
little shorter than David's. That, and the fact that she was a bit of a
tomboy, earned them both frequent teasing by both their parents and some
of their classmates.
"God, I wish I didn't have to go to that stupid all boy's camp," David
complained, already knowing that his sister echoed his sentiments but
sharing them anyway.
A moment later, Kim asked, "And you think I want to go to that boring
all girls camp. Yuck. They probably won't even let us play any real
sports or anything." She stuck out her tongue to show exactly what she
thought of that idea, making David nearly laugh. "At least we'll be
close enough that we can see each other every once in a while," David
offered hopefully, earning nothing but a snort from Kim.
For the next several minutes, the twins returned to their silence as
they walked through the mall, past the stores that one or both of them
would normally be interested in going into. At the moment however, none
of them seemed interesting. Not with the them facing the prospect of
having their whole summer ruined by their parents.
Suddenly Kim stopped, and David bumped into her with a, "Oomph."
"What'd ya stop for?" he demanded in annoyance.
"Look," Kim answered, gesturing at the store in front of them.
David looked at the store, wondering why she'd stopped for that. It
didn't really look like anything from the outside, though display
windows did have several things showing through. A sign above the door
proclaimed the store to be Spells R Us.
"Never heard of them," David grumbled.
"Me neither," Kim grinned at him, "I wanna see what they have." And
then with that, Kim hurried through the door. David shrugged, then
quickly hurried behind his sister, not wanting to be left behind.
A bell above the door tinkled as David went in, though he didn't pay
much attention to it. Instead David's attention was on Kim, who was
already enthusiastically looking around.
"Just like a girl," David grumbled, refusing to admit that his interest
was beginning to get peaked as well.
David would nearly have sworn that the store seemed bigger on the inside
than the outside. Or at least it certainly looked a lot bigger than he
would have thought it would be. There were counters and shelves all
over the place, each filled the top with an endless variety of items.
Then David noticed the man behind the counter. He was an old man and
was wearing a long blue robe which was decorated with magical looking
symbols. At the same time, Kim also seemed to notice the old man behind
the counter.
After a moment, the Old Man looked up from whatever he was doing and
stared right at them both. David could see a slight twinkle in the Old
Man's eyes, not the dull look that he would have expected from someone
that old.
"Hello David and Kimberly," the Old Man said with a slightly
mischievious smile, "How can I help you today?"
"Huh...?" David sputtered, staring in confusion at the Old Man.
It was Kim who said what her brother was thinking. "How did you know
our names?"
The Old Man gave a slight chuckle. "You have no idea just how often I
hear that same question," he told them. "I'm a wizard. As you might
guess from my store's name, I sell magic here. And that I believe, is
what you two are looking for."
"A real wizard?" David said in awe. "Cool."
Kim however was more suspicious. "Yeah right," she snorted.
That didn't seem to bother the Old Man. He just gestured for them to
come closer, then he said, "I know that neither of you wants to go to
where your parents are sending you for the summer." Then the
mischievious grin appeared on his face again, and the twinkle in his eye
became more noticeable, "And with my help, I can promise you that you
need never go to that all boys camp again," then looking directly at Kim
he added, "or that girls camp."
By now, Kim seemed to have lost her own disbelief and was staring at the
Old Man, obviously impressed. "Really?" she asked him breathlessly.
"Of course," the Old Man chuckled. "I wouldn't very well be able to
stay in business if I couldn't deliver what I offered, now could I?"
David and Kim both agreed that this made sense, and Kim was eagerly
asking the Old Man how he could help them. David on the other hand
suddenly felt skeptical. He didn't really doubt that the wizard could
do what he said he could, but something else seemed to be wrong. David
wasn't sure that they could trust this wizard. The wizard seemed real
friendly, but something about the way he looked reminded David of how
his friend Cody looked just before playing a practical joke.
"Um, can we talk about this?" David asked Kim, giving an apologetic look
to the Old Man. Once David had Kim off to the corner, he whispered,
"Can we trust this guy? I mean, what do we know about him?"
Kim snorted. "Come on. This is our chance to get out of those stupid
summer camps. We've got to take it."
David nodded. "Yeah, but I don't know." He looked over at the Old Man,
then continued, "I just wish that we could teach Mom and Dad a lesson
too"
A moment later, Kim and David were back at the counter. "All right,"
Kim told the Old Man, "what do we have to do?"
The Old Man smiled and carefully set a rolled up piece of paper onto the
table. A scroll, the twins realized in amazement. Very gently the
wizard unrolled the scroll, letting the twins look at the strange
writing that covered the paper.
"This," the Old Man announced proudly, "is a spell that can keep you out
of your boys summer camp." He looked at David, then at Kim. "And your
all girls camp." Then to both of them, he said, "One of you just write
your name here," he pointed at a spot, "and the other one's name goes
here," he pointed at another.
Once again David felt suspicious. It was the way that he Old Man was
wording it. The Old Man gave him a serious look, almost as if reading
his thoughts, which David suddenly realized, he might be doing.
"All right," the Old Man sighed, still looking seriously at David. "You
are a bright young man, so I will give you something a little extra."
He gave them both a grin. "You can also teach your parents a lesson if
you'd like"
That caught David and Kim's attentions completely. "How?" they both
asked simultaneously.
"This spell lets people exchange places for awhile. Write your parents
names here..." he once again gestured to the first spot, "and your names
here," he pointed to the second, "and you can trade places with them.
You can send them off to summer camp if you like."
"Wow," David whispered. He wasn't sure exactly what that meant, but he
did like the sound of it. So did Kim by the look on her face. David
thought about it, staring at the scroll and wondering just how well it
would work. Then something else occurred to him, "It's not permanent,
is it?"
The Old Man sighed. "No. To reverse the spell, all you have to do is
destroy the scroll. Tear it up or throw it into a fire, and things will
go back to normal."
That sounded great to David, but before he could say anything, Kim asked
"How much does it cost?"
David groaned, looking nervously at Kim. Neither of them really had
much money on them and he wasn't sure that they could afford it.
That wasn't a problem though as the Old Man told them, "Twelve dollars
and seventy five cents." He named the exact amount of money that they
had with them between the two of them.
Kim and David looked at each other wordlessly for a moment, neither of
them needing so speak to see what the other was thinking. Then they
both nodded faintly, and turned to the Old Man in agreement. "We'll buy
it," Kim told him, grinning broadly.
Several minutes later, the twins walked out of the store with a bag that
contained the scroll clutched tightly in David's hand. They looked at
each other and both grinned, then wordlessly hurried home, planning to
try talking their parents out of it one more time.
--------------------
Roger Bennett looked over at his lovely brunette wife Sandra and smiled.
"Just think, with the kids gone, we'll have the house all to ourselves
for six whole weeks." Roger winked at Sandra. "Just the two of us."
Sandra grinned wickedly. "Oh what will we do?" she giggled, giving
Roger a suggestive look. "It'll be great to have a vacation from the
kids, and to have some time for ourselves for a change."
With a slight chuckle, Roger added, "You just don't want to do as much
laundry."
"Well that's true," she admitted with a grin.
Just then, Roger heard the back door slamming shut, and Sandra muttered
"The kids are back." The sounds of their heavy footfalls as they went
to their rooms were clearly audible.
Several minutes later, both of the twins had come into the living room.
David and Kim both looked serious as they stood in front of Roger and
Sandra.
"We don't want to go to camp," Kim started off. "It's not fair of you
to make us go."
"Yeah," David echoed, "it's not fair"
Roger frowned, beginning to get annoyed. "It'll be good for you.
You'll have lots of fun."
"What about our friends?" Kim whined.
"You'll make new ones honey," Sandra told them.
"I went to camp when I was your age," Roger said seriously, "and I loved
it. You will too."
"But..." David tried to protest.
"NO buts," Roger growled, standing up and glaring at his children. "I
already told you that you're going, and that's the end of it." He
looked at David and then Kim, his expression saying that he'd already
made up his mind and wouldn't change it.
Sighing David and Kim turned and left the living room, obviously upset.
"They'll get over it," Sandra told Roger.
Roger just grunted. "Damn kids need to learn some respect," he growled,
lighting a cigarette as he did so. "When I was a kid we never talked
back to our parents."
Sandra gave him a look that seemed to say, "Yes dear," though the slight
smile on her lips showed her skepticism over his claim. "Well, at least
we'll have some peace and quiet around here for awhile," she sighted,
reaching over for one of her own cigarettes. "And I'm sure that they'll
be perfectly happy once they get to camp."
--------------------
"Shit," David cried as he slammed the door to his bedroom behind him.
Kim had gone in with him, and was glaring furiously at the door, almost
as if she could see through it and at their parents beyond. "It's not
fair," David said furiously. "It's not fair."
"I know," Kim said, looking just as angry as David. "They don't care
about us. They didn't even ask us what we wanted to do. They don't
care." Tears were beginning to come from her eyes as she thought about
how horrible their summer was going to be, away from home, their friends
and each other. After they were sent away in the morning, they might
not see each other for six whole weeks.
The twins sat down on David's bed, side by side, each silently absorbed
in their own fury. In their own feelings of betrayal. After several
minutes, David was beginning to calm down and was able to start
thinking clearly again.
Finally, David whispered, "We gave them a chance. Now we have to use
that spell." His eyes moved over to the bag that contained the scroll
in it. Kim silently nodded agreement.
After a moment, Kim got up and opened the bag, pulling the scroll out of
it, then gently rolling the paper open on the floor. David hopped off
the bed and got down next to Kim to get a better look at the scroll.
With the scroll opened up, the twins could see the writing that covered
it. None of it was in any language that they could recognize. It was
also dotted with strange symbols, that they knew must be magical
somehow. Finally they looked at the two spots that the wizard had
pointed out. The two blank spots inside two circles where they were to
write in their names.
"What exactly do you think it does?" Kim asked quietly.
"I'm not sure..." David admitted, "but I think that it will make us
trade places with Mom and Dad. I mean like in Freaky Friday. You'd
turn into Mom and I'd turn into Dad."
"Ew gross," Kim said. "I don't want to be that old."
"Me either," David admitted, "but it's the only way to get out of summer
camp. And besides," he grinned at Kim, "it would definitely teach Mom
and Dad a lesson if we made them go instead."
Kim grinned back. "Cool. And we could change back any time we want
to," she said quietly, though whether she was talking to herself or to
David wasn't clear. Finally Kim announced, "Let's do it." David looked
down at the scroll thoughtfully, nervously wondering if they really
should. He sighed, and said, "Let's do it in the morning."
For a moment Kim just looked at him, then she once again nodded in
agreement. Then suddenly changing the subject, Kim suggested, "Let's go
out and play football," already jumping up and reaching for the ball.
With only a second of hesitation, David rolled the scroll back up and
went to join her.
--------------------
The next morning, Kim and David got up early and hurried about their
morning routine. Neither of them could keep from grinning at each other
with knowing smiles as they each anticipated the effects of the spell.
If it worked.
At the breakfast table, Roger and Sandra noticed that the twins were in
a much better mood than the day before. After Kim and David got up and
hurried away, Roger smiled at Sandra, telling her, "I told you that
they'd come around. Every kid loves going to camp. I know I sure did
when I was their age."
"Yes dear," Sandra replied absently, obviously not paying too much
attention to Roger as she studied the morning paper.
Back in David's bedroom, the two children sat hunched over the scroll
which was rolled out on the floor. David looked up at Kim, grinning
slightly "I hope this works"
"It will," she insisted eagerly, "it has to."
Then with that, David bent over the scroll, pen in hand and a look of
concentration on his face. He very carefully wrote his full name, David
Michael Bennett, inside one of the circled areas, then just as
carefully, he added Kimberly Anne Bennett beneath it.
"There," David announced before moving over the second circle. "Mom and
Dad," he said aloud.
"NO," Kim interrupted sharply. "We can't put Mom and Dad. I think we
have to put their names."
David scratched his head, then said, "OK," before he started writing.
Taking his time, David wrote his Mom's name as clearly as he could.
Sandra Lynn Bennett, he finished. And just below that, he wrote Roger
David Bennett.
"Done," David said proudly, staring at the scroll in anticipation.
However, even after two minutes, nothing had happened. "Oh man," David
whined. "It didn't work."
Kim frowned, looking extremely disappointed. "I guess we'd better
finish packing then or Dad's going to go ballistic and spank us again."
She shuddered slightly at the thought, knowing that he wouldn't hesitate
to do just that. Neither of the twins had any doubt of their punishment
if they were caught goofing off.
It was with great disappointment that David rolled the scroll back up,
and with a look of disgust that he shoved it underneath his bed. A
minute later, both David and Kim were caught up in the rush to have all
their bags packed and ready to go.
An hour later, the twins had reluctantly carried their bags to the front
door, each trying to hide the disappointment in their eyes. They'd
missed their one chance. It hadn't worked. And now, they were going to
be forced to spend the rest of the summer away from all their friends,
and even worse, away from each other.
"I'm glad you decided to join us," Roger said sarcastically as he
glanced at his watch. "Com'on kids, we don't want to be late and miss
the plane."
"Ooh, that would really be a shame," Kim muttered under her breath, just
loud enough for only David to hear and snicker over.
-------------------
A short while later, they had all arrived at the airport and gone inside
for check-in. Once they'd turned in their bags, David and Kim sadly
followed their parents through the terminals to the one where their
plane was waiting.
David and Kim stood and watched the people going through the line,
having their tickets taken as they boarded the plane. They silently
looked at each other, each knowing that as soon as they landed at the
other airport, they'd be split up and sent to their separate camps, and
perhaps not see each other for another six weeks. And even if they did,
it would only be briefly when the camps met for competitions. Neither
of them was looking forward to being alone.
Finally it was their turn to go. David and Kim both handed their
tickets to the woman who was taking them, then gave unhappy looks at
their parents.
"What?" their mother asked in mock shock. "No goodbye hugs for your
mother?"
While David and Kim both reluctantly gave her a hug, their father smiled
and told them, "Have fun you two. I only wish that I was young enough
to go to summer camp again." Then with that he chuckled.
David just snorted and turned back towards the entrance to the plane,
with Kim following right behind him. Then suddenly, the whole world
seemed to twist and turn. For a brief moment David lost his senses.
Everything went dark and numb, and confused shock filled his mind.
Then just as suddenly, it stopped.
Still feeling somewhat confused, David stood there and gasped in shock
as he realized that he was looking at himself. And more, he was
looking slightly down at himself.
"Oh my God," David's body screamed, looking completely confused.
David only stared, realizing in amazement that it had worked. Their
spell had worked. "I'm dad," he thought to himself excitedly. But when
he turned his head, David gasped to see that his Dad was standing right
next to him, looking slightly confused, but excited at the same time.
"Uh oh," David muttered, glancing down and seeing a pair of breasts
pushing out from his shirt. His mother's breasts, and his mother's
shirt.
"Kim...?" he nervously asked his apparent father.
"Yeah," she said quietly, obviously stunned. "I guess this didn't quite
work right." She gave a giggle at that, which sounded very odd coming
from their fathers mouth.
Then at the same time, they turned and saw their own bodys looking down
at themselves in complete shock and horror. For a moment David and Kim
both just stared, amazed that their spell had really worked, as well as
uncomfortable at the obvious mistake. Then a wicked smile appeared on
Kim's face, or Roger's face with Kim's mind inside.
"I guess you got your wish," she whispered to her own body and David's
not sure which one held her dad's mind.
"But I didn't....." Kim's own voice protested in numb disbelief.
David smiled faintly as he recognized his dad's tone of voice, even if
it was in his sister's body. "Cool," he thought, chuckling evilly as
he thought about how embarrassing that would be fore his dad, seeming to
forget for the moment that he was in a very similar position himself.
"You'd better hurry," David suggested, "you don't want to miss your
plane or summer camp. I'm sure that you'll both have lots of fun."
Then with that, Kim gently pushed them towards the plane's entrance,
even as they tried uselessly to struggle. "Now behave and get going,"
she whispered. "Or you'll get a spanking you'll never forget." She
grinned as she carefully repeated the very words her father had used on
her so many times before.
"Now..." David couldn't resist adding, "you'll go to summer camp and
enjoy it." He glanced at his sister and grinned, "We'll talk about this
in about......six weeks." He carefully stressed the 'six weeks',
wanting to make clear that they wouldn't change back until then.
While their parents were still reeling in shock, Kim looked at the
ticket taker and apologized "They're just nervous. Their first time
away from home," The woman nodded understandingly, while Kim gently
pushed both her mother and father through the opening, marveling at her
own strength as she did so.
Once the door had sealed shut, David and Kim looked at each other,
amazement in their eyes, and at once they both exclaimed, "It worked."
"Well, sorta," Kim corrected, glancing down at herself and frowning in
embarrassment.
David did the same, not at all sure that he liked being in his Mom's
body. "Gross," he mumbled as he uncomfortably poked a finger into one
of his breasts. It felt strange. Sort of soft and spongy. Curious,
David grabbed both of his breasts at once and squeezed.
"Stop that!" Kim suddenly demanded, looking around in embarrassment.
"People are looking."
"Um...sorry," David apologized, blushing furiously as he realized that
he'd been doing. He uncomfortably glanced around, seeing peoples heads
quickly turn away which only made him blush worse. "But this is so
weird,"
"I know," Kim said, sounding a little afraid, "I don't think I want to
stay like this."
"Me either," David agreed emphatically. He glanced over at his sister
in his dad's body and felt weird knowing that it was really her inside.
But not nearly as weird as he felt when he thought about that fact that
he'd accidentally ended up in his mom's.
For several minutes David and Kim just stood where they were, looking
down at themselves and at each other in amazement that the spell had
worked, though not quite how they had expected.
Finally Kim blushed and whispered, "I think I've got to go to the
bathroom."
"OK," David said, gesturing to where he'd seen one earlier.
They both quickly hurried to the bathrooms, though David found that he
was slowed down by the heels on his shoes which kept making him lose his
balance. Kim had already gone in while he was still trying to make his
way over there. Suddenly David heard a slight scream, and saw Kim
hurrying out of the bathroom, with an angry woman right behind her.
"I'm sorry," David heard Kim apologize to the woman, "it was an
accident."
"Accident my ass," the woman growled. "Since when does a grown man go
into the ladies room by mistake?" Kim looked like she was about to run
away from this menacing looking woman, who was nearly six inches shorter
than she now was. David almost found it funny. A moment later, the
angry woman turned and marched back into the bathroom, giving Kim one
more good glare before disappearing inside.
"Are you all right?" David asked Kim when he got over to her, trying not
to laugh or even let her see a hint of it in his face.
Kim just looked embarrassed. "I forgot," she explained unnecessarily,
looking almost like she was going to cry, "and I went into the girls
bathroom."
For a moment David didn't think that he was going to be able to contain
himself, but somehow he did. Finally he said, "We'll just have to be
more careful until we get home."
Kim nodded agreement, stared at each other for another moment before
turning and going into their 'correct' bathrooms.
Once David was inside the women's restroom, he immediately saw the woman
that had chased Kim out, standing at the mirror and primping. He was
careful not to stare at her as he moved into a better position to see
himself in the mirror. Even though he already knew what to expect, his
reflection astounded him. He looked just like his mom. Her face, her
hair, her breasts and her clothes. Everything.
"Wow," he whispered to himself.
After a moment he realized that the woman was starting to look at him,
so he quickly turned and looked around the bathroom. The first thing
that he noticed was that the urinals were all gone. There wasn't a
single one of them, which surprised him slightly, even though he knew
that girls didn't use them. David looked at them for just a moment,
then hurried inside of one of the toilet stalls, which there were a lot
more of.
Inside the stall, David started to undue his shirt, then changed his
mind when he remembered that Kim would be waiting for him. Instead he
decided to do what he had come in there to do, and go to the bathroom,
even though he didn't really feel like he had to. David quickly undid
his belt and pants. He stared for a moment at the white girl underwear
that he was wearing, then pulled those down as well.
"Weird," David whispered as he saw that it was all hairy down there.
He already knew that girls don't have penises like boys do, and had even
seen Kim naked before, so that was no real surprise. However, it was
different. He'd heard about pubic hair in sex ed class at school, and
some boys even said that they had some already, but this was the first
time that he'd ever seen hair on privates before. Especially girl
privates.
And as strange as all that was, David was even more confused by the
color of his pubic new pubic hair. Instead of being the same color as
the hair on his head, it was blonde. David couldn't quite figure it out
and shrugged it off as just one more of the strange things about his new
adult body.
Then suddenly remembering why he came, David felt embarrassed, also
remembering that girls had to sit down to go pee. So without further
hesitation, he sat on the toilet and tried to go to the bathroom.
However he found that he didn't need to go, and after a couple minutes,
he only managed to get just a little bit out of him. Once he was
finished, David quickly dried himself off between his legs, not wanting
to get his underwear wet, and then he got dressed again.
When David left the stall, he nervously looked around, feeling very
uncomfortable at being in a girls bathroom, and afraid that someone
might see and recognize him. After just a moment he saw that he was
alone, or at least for the moment. David nervously looked at himself in
the bathroom mirror again, then turned and left the bathroom.
Just outside David saw that Kim was already done and waiting for him.
As soon as he walked up to her, she looked embarrassed and whispered,
"That was really weird. Like using a hose or something." She blushed
at that, and David was too embarrassed himself to tease her about it.
After a moment, David and Kim started walking out of the airport. But
before they got too far, David realized something. "How are we going to
get home?" he asked worriedly. "Neither of us knows how to drive."
Kim looked nervous for a second as well, then she confidently announced
"We can take a taxi home. We've got LOTS of money now." With that
decided, the twins continued on.
Roger reeled in confusion as the stewardess led him to his seat and
buckled him in. One second he was waving goodbye to his kids, and the
next second, he was one of them, getting pushed into the plane before he
even realized what had happened. And even worse, was the fact that he
seemed to have somehow turned into his own daughter.
While Roger was sitting in the seat, too shocked to think straight, or
even do anything other than stare at his hands, he barely noticed David
sitting next to him. Sandra, something in the back of his mind told
him, though he didn't pay it much attention.
"This can't be happening," Roger whispered in Kim's voice, sure that he
must be dreaming. But it felt so real. He really felt like he'd
shrunk, gotten smaller and weaker. And he could feel that something
between his legs was definitely missing. No, part of his mind screamed,
this was no dream.
Next to Roger, Sandra stared down at herself in horror as well, unable
to believe not only had she turned into her own son, but that her
children had taken their bodies and pushed them into the plane. How
could they possibly have done that to her and Roger? For that matter,
how could they all have changed bodies? That kind of thing just wasn't
possible in real life. Or at least Sandra had thought so half an hour
earlier. As confused as Sandra was, she couldn't resist looking at the
girl sitting next to her. Her daughter, or at least her daughters body.
She could barely believe that Roger was in that body, and she there was
no way that she would have if it hadn't happened to her too.
"What happened?" Sandra asked, unsure if she was asking herself or
Roger.
"I don't know," Roger gasped, staring back at her uncomfortably.
Sandra just stared back for a moment, then suddenly remembered
something. She remembered the last words that Roger had said before
they had changed, and felt her gut churn.
"Oh my God," she gasped out, staring even harder at Roger. Suddenly
Sandra felt angry and snarled, "It's your fault. You did this to us."
Tears were beginning to come from Sandra's eyes as she glared at Roger,
knowing that he was the one responsible for their condition because of
his wish. At that moment it took every ounce of her will power to keep
from strangling him.
"What did I do?" Roger protested in confusion, wondering how Sandra
could possibly be blaming this on him. Then he remembered not only what
he'd said, but what whomever was in his body had told him. That he'd
gotten his wish. "Oh shit," Roger whispered in shock. Somehow he had
done this with his own wish.
Roger saw that Sandra, in David's body, looked extremely pissed at him.
Then she turned her head away, refusing to even look at him. He
couldn't really blame her either. Because of him, they were not only
stuck in their kids bodies, and the wrong sex, but on their way to
summer camp as well. Somehow they just had to find a way back home, and
back to normal.
Somehow Roger suspected that it was going to be a very, very long
flight.
--------------------
After David and Kim had returned home, they paid the taxi driver from
the money that Kim had found in her new wallet, and then went inside.
Kim immediately flopped into their dad's chair, then stuck her tongue
out at David.
"I guess it's my chair now," she giggled, obviously having fun with the
situation.
David on the other hand wasn't too happy at how things had turned out.
Their spell hadn't worked right at all, and he didn't want to be stuck
in his mom's body. He didn't want to be a girl. He looked at his
breasts in distaste, wondering how girls could handle having those
things all the time.
But being turned into his mom wasn't the only thing that was bothering
David. As much as he'd loved turning the tables on his parents earlier
and sending them to sending them off to camp, he couldn't help but
feeling slightly guilty now as well. He couldn't help but feeling a
little bad about the way that they'd pushed their parents into the
plane, even though the thought made him chuckle slightly at the same
time.
Then David looked over at Kim again, seeing that she was obviously
having fun with the situation. She saw David looking and asked, "What's
wrong?"
"I don't wanna be a girl," David told her, "I don't want to be mom for
six weeks." David shuddered at that thought. Being his Dad would have
been kind of cool, he thought to himself, but a girl.... Yuck!
Kim laughed, then said, "Whenever we want to change back, all we have to
do is rip up that piece of paper."
"Oh yeah," David remembered, feeling rather stupid for forgetting that.
"But why did we end up in the wrong bodies?" he suddenly asked.
Kim just shrugged, not seeming to care too much. David however wanted
to know, so he got up and hurried back to his bedroom where he'd hidden
the scroll.
Once David had the scroll again, he rolled it out on the floor, then sat
down and looked at it, trying to figure out what went wrong. He
couldn't help but feeling that the wizard who sold it to them must have
tricked them somehow. But as David looked over the paper, it only took
him a moment to notice something. Something which he was sure must have
been the reason why they didn't swap bodies exactly as planned.
In one circle, his name was above Kim's, but in the other circle, his
mom's name was above his dad's. "Oh shit," David whispered in his mom's
voice, staring at the names and how they matched up. If he would have
put his name on the bottom, or his Dad's on top, then he would have
turned into his Dad like they'd planned. But instead.....instead, he'd
put his mom's name on top, just like his, and now he was her. For a
brief moment, David considered tearing the scroll up right there, that
way he'd go back into his own body. He'd be a guy again. Then he
remembered why they'd used that spell in the first place and that he'd
just end up on his way to summer camp again. And David wasn't quite
ready to go back to that. Not after the way his parents had treated him
and Kim, even if it meant staying as a girl for a little longer.
"Just great," David grumbled to himself as he picked up the scroll,
deciding to show what he'd found to Kim. After nervously poking one of
his breasts again, David smiled nervously and hurried back to Kim.
When David got back into the living room, he suddenly stopped where he
was and stared in surprise. Kim was still sitting her their Dad's
chair, but she was coughing a bit, and holding a lit cigarette in her
hand.
Then Kim looked up at David and giggled, which sounded extremely odd
coming from their Dad's body. "Look," she said proudly, taking a drag
from the cigarette and blowing the smoke back out. "This is kind of
cool." When Kim saw the look of confusion on David's face, she giggled
again. "We're grownups now, and grownups smoke." She sounded very
knowledgeable as she said that.
"Um...what's it like?" David asked curiously.
Kim just grinned. "Try one. You're a grownup too now."
David thought about that for a moment, watching his sister smoking and
wondering what it was like. Then he went over and wordlessly took one
of the cigarettes from the pack that Kim offered him. He held it for a
second before remembering that the grownups he'd seen smoking held it
between their fingers, so he carefully did the same.
"You've got to light it first, stupid," Kim teased.
David blushed, but didn't say a word. Instead he just picked up the
lighter and lit it. He glanced at Kim for just a second, seeing the
dare in her eyes. Not about to be outdone by her, David put the
cigarette in his mouth and lit the end of it.
Sucking in, David felt the smoke filling his mouth and lungs, burning a
little as it went down. Then David erupted into a coughing fit, while
Kim laughed at him, much to his embarrassment. After a moment though,
David got control over himself again and glared at Kim, who only took
another puff on her own cigarette without any apparent problem and
grinned at him. Still refusing to give up, David took another puff on
the cigarette, finding that it was a little easier since he knew what to
expect.
David blew the smoke overhead, feeling rather proud of himself as he did
so. He didn't even cough that time. He grinned at Kim, then took
another drag of the cigarette. It tasted kind of funny, and felt
strange going down, but it was beginning to make him feel kind of good
as well. And David decided that he kind of liked that.
For the next several minutes, David and Kim sat there smoking, and
joking about what their parents must be going through. David's guilty
feelings from earlier vanished as he laughed with Kim, as did his
thoughts of notifying his sister about what he'd discovered.
--------------------
Sandra turned and glared silently at Roger for a second, wondering how
the hell he'd done that to her. How he'd made a wish come true and
trapped them in their children's bodies, even if that wish was
inadvertent. But just because it was an accident didn't mean that she
was going to forgive him. Not at all.
With a brief snort Sandra got up and left Roger where he was, pouting
like the little girl he now appeared to be, while she went to the
airplane restroom. Once inside, she stopped and looked into the mirror,
shocking herself with what she saw, even though she already knew what
she was going to find. Staring back at her was her own 12 year old son.
"I can't believe this," Sandra whispered to herself. Then almost in
amusement, she realized that she had blonde hair again, after having
dyed her own hair to escape the endless blonde jokes and stereotypes.
Shaking her head slightly, Sandra decided, "I might as well get this
over with." Then with that, she pulled down her pants and stared at the
small penis on her body. And though she'd seen it uncountable times
before, seeing it from her new perspective seemed quite a bit different.
Still, she wasn't about to let herself get distracted, so stood where
she was and tried to pee standing up.
The urine came out in a stream, almost missing the toilet altogether.
And even then, little droplets splattered everywhere, making Sandra
realize that aiming it wasn't quite as easy as she would have thought.
But at least she was done.
Relieved to have gotten that over with, Sandra quickly pulled her pants
back up and returned to her seat.
--------------------
A short while later the plane finally landed, and when Roger and Kim got
off, intent on finding some way to return home, they were instead met by
several people. A tall, slightly overweight and balding man, and a
rather athletic looking young woman. The representatives from the
summer camps, eager to pick up their campers.
"But..." Roger tried to protest to the woman who had immediately let him
over to several other girls about Kim's age, who were also going to Camp
Springside. However the woman didn't seem to hear a single word that
Roger said as she rushed over to grab another girl.
After several minutes, Roger finally gave up. There was no way that he
was going to convince her or anyone else of the truth. It was way to
unbelievable. He knew that he'd have to play along, pretending to be
Kim until he could find someway back home, or to reverse what had
happened. Suddenly he couldn't help but wondering what the kids were
doing.
At the same time that Roger was being pulled over to the girls, Sandra
was greeted by the man from Camp Kirkwood. She reluctantly went him,
already knowing that there would be no use in arguing for now. Not
until she could figure out more about what was going on.
"All right everyone," the man announced, "my name is Pat Kirkwood, the
owner of the Camp Kirkwood. It's been in my family for three
generations now, and I'm determined that you all enjoy it." Pat smiled
cheerfully, glancing at Sandra and the 'other' boys.
As soon as Pat had finished talking, the athletic woman loudly told the
girls, "And my name is Shelly Mitchell. I'm a counselor at Camp
Springside and hope to be your friend." She gave the group of girls a
smile, then announced, "The bus is waiting."
With that, Roger gave Sandra a look of desperation, and saw that she
looked just as lost as he was. She shrugged back faintly, then they
were pulled apart by their camp counselors and led to their separate
busses, each knowing that it might be awhile before they saw each other
again.
--------------------
David and Kim spent most of the day playing at being grownups, giggling
and laughing as they went around the house, pretending to be their
parents. However much sooner than either would have expected, they
started to get tired, and decided to watch TV instead, though they
continued to jokingly call each other "Dear" and "Honey."
For dinner, they microwaved some leftovers that Kim had found in the
fridge, then did what they were normally unable to. They ate their
dinner in the living room, while watching an R rated movie in cable,
excited at doing so since their parents wouldn't ever let them eat in
the living room, much less watch movies that were that violent.
"This is so cool," Kim said once they were done eating. She grinned
wickedly at David, then purposely put her feet on the coffee table,
knowing full well that she'd normally get in trouble for that as well.
"This is a lot better than camp."
David had to agree. Even though he didn't really like having been
turned into a girl, he had to admit that it wasn't quite as bad as he
thought it would be. And of course he could change back anytime that he
wanted to. That knowledge left him secure enough that he didn't even
think about the guilt he'd felt earlier.
Finally, after several more hours of watching TV, David yawned and said,
"It looks like it's time for bed." He frowned as he looked at Kim, then
added, "I guess we should tear up the spell and change back now. I
don't wanna have to be Mom all night."
Kim nodded. "I guess." Then a moment later, she said, "Let's stay like
this for just a little longer." She giggled. "We can change back
tomorrow after Mom and Dad learn their lesson."
David wasn't sure about that, but after another minute, Kim had
convinced him. "All right then," he told her reluctantly, "tomorrow."
With that agreed on, the twins each went to their own bedrooms. David
stopped in his and looked down at his bed, seeing that it did look a
little smaller than usual. He wasn't even sure that he'd be able to
sleep comfortably on it at the moment.
In disgust David left his room, deciding that he might as well sleep in
his parents bed. After all, he thought, since he had his Mom's body,
didn't it make sense that he slept in her bedroom? However, when David
went into his parents room, he saw that Kim was already there,
apparently having come to the same conclusion that he had.
For a moment David and Kim looked at each other in embarrassment,
wondering what they were going to do about the bed.
"It's big enough for both of us," Kim said, gesturing towards the bed.
"We've slept in the same bed before."
David thought about that for a moment. It was true that they had slept
in the same bed before. Lots of times in fact while they were growing
up, but they hadn't done that in almost a year now. Still he couldn't
see any harm in it, so nodded agreement.
Since that had been decided, David realized that he'd have to get
undressed if he was going to go to bed. That was a prospect which he
both dreaded and was excited by. Slowly David started taking his
clothes off, feeling embarrassed to do so with Kim there, but refusing
to let her see that. At the same time, she was undressing as well.
It wasn't much longer before David was standing there in nothing but his
underwear, or more precisely, his mother's underwear. He winced
slightly and adjusted the bra strap where it was digging into his
shoulder, and had been doing so for awhile. A second or two was all it
took for David to decide that the embarrassment of seeing his new
breasts was far outweighed by the discomfort of the bra. And with that,
he quickly struggled to get out of the bra.
Finally David was dressed in nothing but his Mom's panties, and was
finally able to glance over at Kim's progress. He gasped in surprise to
see that she was completely naked. This was the first time that he
could ever remember seeing his Dad's body naked, and was slightly
startled to see just how hairy it was. Kim was just giggling as she
examined herself.
For a moment David watched Kim, then he looked over his own body. He
nervously poked his breasts, which jiggled slightly. The large brown
nipples greatly surprised David since they were so much bigger than his
own. He'd heard that girls had bigger nipples as well as breasts, but
this was the first time that he'd ever seen it.
After a thorough examination of his breasts, much to the amusement of
Kim, David looked over the rest of his body. He was a little chubby,
but then again, his Mom had been saying that she was going to lose
weight for a couple years so far. Now he was stuck with her extra
weight, at least until they changed back to normal.
When David had finally finished his own self exam, he looked back at
Kim, and was startled to see her penis, which was much bigger than his
had been, was all hard and poking out. His had never done that.
"That's weird," David said, pointing to Kim's erect penis. "How are you
doing that?"
Kim shrugged. "I don't know. It's just doing it on it's own." She
looked somewhat embarrassed.
Then David realized that he felt kind of funny for some reason. His
nipples felt kind of hard, and his crotch felt kind of warm and nice.
He couldn't figure out why he was feeling that way, or why Kim seemed so
interesting all of a sudden.
For several minutes Kim and David stared at each other, both feeling
self conscious. Finally they wordlessly turned out the light and
climbed into their sides of the bed, each trying to figure out the
strange things that they were feeling as they slowly drifted off to
sleep.
------------------
For Roger the bus ride to the camp had been torture. He was trapped
with two dozen chattering girls, ranging from 10 to 15 years old, and
unable to drown out the unceasing noise. Roger was amazed that he was
able to keep from screaming out in frustration. But finally, after what
seemed to be forever, they arrived at the camp.
Roger was unceremoniously ushered out of the bus, and had to fight
through the mass of girls to get Kim's bags. His bags for now. He
shuddered at the thought, but knew that he'd have to go with the flow
for now. At least until there was an opportunity for something else.
Once Roger had his bags, he had to wait for everyone else to get theirs.
Then Shelly came over to the group and yelled, "All right everyone, be
quite while I call off your names and cabin assignments."
After all the cabin assignments had been passed out, Roger followed the
directions that he'd been given to his own cabin. Cabin 16. When he
got there, he stood and stared at the door for a moment, nervous and
apprehensive. Then he went inside.
Almost immediately after getting inside, Roger stopped and gulped.
There were four beds. He'd already expected that, but being faced with
it was a little different. He was being expected to sleep in the same
cabin room as three girls.
Then Roger noticed that there was one girl already in the cabin. A
black girl who looked about 13, and was hunched over unpacking one of
her bags. The girl quickly turned and gave Roger a smile. "Hi," she
exclaimed, sticking out her hand, "I'm Tanya."
"R....Kim." Roger caught himself at the last second, remembering that
as far as everyone else was concerned, he was Kim.
"Pleasedtameetcha," Tanya said in a rush as they shook hands.
Within a minute two more girls came rushing into the cabin, laughing and
giggling. They both looked to be 12 or 13, and one had long brown hair
tied up into a pony tail, while the other one had shoulder length light
brown hair and glasses.
"Oh, hi," the girl with glasses said as soon as she noticed Roger. She
looked slightly embarrassed, but introduced herself as Ellie.
"Cindy," the pony tailed girl exclaimed, acting unimpressed.
Roger introduced himself again, feeling extremely out of place as he did
so. He didn't belong there with those girls. After all he was really
an adult man, in spite of what helooked like. But he knew that he'd
have to play along, and pretend that he was what he seemed. At least
for the moment.
After the initial introductions, Roger and the girls all started
unpacking, while they cheerfully filled Roger in on everything they
thought he should know about the camp. He quickly learned that Cindy
had been going to that camp for 3 years now, and was something of a
tomboy, but not too much so.
"The real Kim would like her," Roger thought to himself.
Tanya seemed very confident and outgoing, while Ellie seemed to be the
shy one of the group. And, Roger quickly found out, it was the second
year at Springside for both of them.
As Roger got to know his new room mates, he had a sinking feeling that
with all three of them determined to show him the ropes, he wasn't going
to have as much free time to look for a way out as he'd originally
hoped.
--------------------
Sandra looked out at the camp in disgust as she stepped off of the bus.
Sure, it looked picture perfect, just like the pamphlet, but reality was
quite a different thing. Boys were running all over the place, yelling
and screaming. Several fights were breaking out within view, obviously
caused by some boys trying to establish who was "top dog." Sandra
couldn't help but shuddering at the sight, even as the counselors rushed
to stop the fights.
Fearing slightly for her own safety, Sandra was careful to avoid where
the fights were breaking out, even after they'd been broken up. She
didn't want to end up in one, especially not after all the times that
she'd told David that there was never any reason to fight.
After she'd gathered up David's bags....her bags, she started looking
for a counselor to find out where she was to be staying. But before
Sandra had gone more than a few steps, she found herself bumping into
something. Someone.
"Sorry," Sandra apologized to the tall athletic looking boy that she'd
just walked into.
"That's all right," the boy told her. "Joey.....Joe Sanders," he
introduced himself.
Sandra shook the hand he offered and said, "David Bennett. Pleased to
meet you."
Joe just shrugged. "Yeah, me too."
They looked at each other uncomfortably for several moments, then turned
and went their separate ways. Just two minutes later, one of the
counselors called all the boys together, and started reading off cabin
assignments.
After finding out that she was assigned to the Moose cabin, Sandra
followed the directions that she'd been given to it, and quickly walked
through the front door. She stopped just inside and stared, seeing that
the room was full of bunk beds, with enough space for six people. And
four boys were already inside and staking out their sleeping quarters.
One of which she recognized.
Joe saw her and waved her in. "Common....David?" He paused for a
second. "Let me introduce you to the boys."
Once the introductions had all been made, Sandra started unpacking her
things. She gave a long look at the boys and knew that no matter what
else happened, it was going to be a very unusual summer.
David woke up, immediately remembering what had happened to him. The
weight on his chest was the only thing that he needed for proof that he
hadn't just been dreaming, though the presence beside him on the bed
added to it.
Seeing that Kim was still asleep, David sat up and leaned his legs over
the edge of the bed. Then suddenly he started hacking and coughing,
feeling sort of constricted in his chest as if he had a cold. David
tried to keep it quiet as he coughed, not wanting to wake up Kim, but it
wasn't easy.
Finally though, the coughing fit went away and David took a deep breath
in relief. The constricted feeling in his chest was still there, though
there was something else that he realized was bothering him. He wanted
something. No, he changed his mind, he needed something. He just had
to have it, whatever IT was.
David frantically looked around, trying to figure out what IT was. Then
he saw the cigarettes on the nightstand, and comprehension dawned. He
quickly pulled one out, lit it and took a deep drag. The relief was
almost instant and as he blew the smoke back out, he was already
starting to feel calmer and more in control.
After David had halfway finished the cigarette, he finally got up and
started towards the kitchen to find breakfast. He wasn't really hungry,
but he always started his morning out with breakfast, and wasn't about
to change that now just because he was in a different body.Once David
had poured himself a bowl of cereal, he stubbed out the cigarette in the
ashtray and quickly started eating.
When the quick breakfast was finished, David looked down at himself,
noticing that he was still mostly naked. He almost chuckled at that,
though not quite. Instead, he just inspected his new body once again,
still amazed at just how different it was from is own body. After a
couple minutes of this, David forced himself to look away, remembering
that they were going to trade back in just a little while, and he didn't
want his Mom to come back to find herself naked. That would be too
embarrassing to explain.
Taking his time, David went to the bathroom to relieve the growing
pressure in his bladder, and to wash up before getting dressed again.
And though his first thought had been to take a shower and get it over
with as quickly as possible, he changed his mind at the last minute and
filled up the tub for a bath instead.
As David soaked in the hot water, he sighed comfortably. "This is a lot
better than a shower," he admitted to himself, though he certainly never
would normally. But it was true. It felt so much nicer and more
relaxing. He'd always preferred showers before since he'd always
thought that baths were for girls and little kids. However, since at
the moment he was technical a girl, there wasn't really anything wrong
with him taking a bath, was there?
David stayed in the water long enough for his fingers to get all pruny
and wrinkled, then he lazily got out and dried himself off, chuckling
slightly as his hands ran over the bumps on his chest. He thought it
was funny the way they floated in the water a couple minutes earlier.
Then he started to dry his hair, thankful that since his hair was
normally long anyway, that at least was nothing new.
Once David had finished drying himself off, he returned to the bedroom
to get dressed, finding that Kim was finally up as well.
"Good morning," Kim greeted her in a slightly raspy voice, then she
coughed for a moment before adding, "God I feel horrible."
David smiled faintly, then suggested, "Try having a cigarette."
Kim looked at him oddly for a moment, then did as he suggested, which by
the look on her face seemed to have worked some, even though she did
cough several times more.
Giving Kim another glance, David went back to getting dressed. However
several times after he'd pulled out clothes to put on, Kim made faces
and insisted that those clothes wouldn't look good. With Kim's
suggestions, and her help getting the bra on, David finally finished
getting dressed.
"Wow," Kim exclaimed, "you look just like mom."
"And you look like dad," David said back, grinning as he did so. "Now
Dad....er, Roger, you should get dressed too." And with that David
started chuckling, which sounded almost like a giggle in his new body.
Once they were both dressed, David and Kim went into the living room.
But before they could even turn on the TV like David had planned, Kim
quickly suggested, "Let's play some ball."
David immediately knew that she meant tossing the football back and
forth, which was one of their favorite games. He'd always felt kind of
lucky that unlike most guys sister's, his actually liked doing some of
the same things he did. In fact she liked playing ball even more than
he did.
"Sure," David agreed, guessing that she just wanted to see how well she
could do now that she was a guy. He couldn't blame her since he was
just as curious about his new body as well.
Kim had already grabbed the ball and was on her way out the door, while
David had to rush to catch up. As soon as they were both in the
backyard, Kim tossed David the ball, and he had to run a short distance
to catch it, before throwing it back.
The game of catch continued for awhile, though before very long, both
David and Kim were gasping for breath and very tired.
"I'm too tired to keep playing," David admitted first, though Kim nodded
agreement. "I don't know what's wrong."
"I do," Kim said. When she saw that she had David's attention, she
continued, "Mom and dad are like, old and out of shape. And smoking is
bad for your health."
"Oh yeah," David groaned, feeling kind of stupid for not realizing that
himself. After a moments thought he decided that they'd better find
something else to do since they were both too tired to keep playing. "I
have an idea," he exclaimed, then whispered to Kim what he had in mind.
Kim grinned back broadly, then answered David's suggestion with a,
"Cool."
It only took them several minutes to get to the garage, and to the spare
car that was inside. David hopped into the front seat first, and
carefully examined the controls.
"I've watched Dad drive lots of times," he confidently told Kim, "and I
figure that it looks pretty easy. And besides, it's automatic."
Kim nodded agreement, quickly seeing the fun in teaching themselves to
drive. And since the car was an automatic, and not a stick shift like
the one they'd left at the airport, it would be easy too. Or at least
that's what they assumed.
"How come I can't go first?" Kim whined as David started the car.
With a snort David smugly answered, "Because it was MY idea."
That seemed to satisfy Kim, though David didn't really care as he was
using all of his concentration to back to the car out of the garage and
down the driveway. He was relieved that there weren't any cars going
past as he pulled into the road, nearly running into their mailbox as he
did so.
"Watch it," Kim growled, unable to hide the excitement in her voice.
David just snorted and started slowly driving forward. The car shot
ahead faster than what David had intended, smashing into the neighbors
garbage cans and knocking them over.
"Women drivers," Kim giggled, much to David's annoyance.
Several minutes later, and with several more near misses, David had
managed to pull into the empty parking lot at the end of the street,
where they were both able to practice their driving for the next two
hours without worrying about any accidents.
--------------------
Roger woke up to the deafening sound of bugles blowing in the most
annoying way imaginable. Revelry, he remembered it was called.
Groaning he covered his ears and sat up, seeing that his cabin mates
were already doing the same thing as the as Camp Springside's official
day began.
As Roger started to get dressed, he thought back to the night before,
feeling embarrassed while he did so. Somehow, though he wasn't quite
sure how it had started or how he'd gotten involved, he had ended up in
the middle of a pillow fight. He'd played and giggled right along with
the girls. When that was all over with and they'd gone to bed, Roger
was even more ashamed to remember that he'd actually fingered himself
under his covers. He'd curiously put a finger inside of his hairless
vagina. His daughters vagina. The very memory somehow made him feel
like a sick child molester.
Suddenly Tanya's voice interrupted Roger's thoughts. "Com'on and hurry
up girl. I'm hungry and wanna get to breakfast"
"Yeah, hurry up slowpoke," Cindy teased.
"All right, all right," Roger gave in with a grin, hurrying up as he
finished getting dressed. "Just don't leave without me."
"Fat chance of that," Cindy said with a grin. "If we did you'd just get
lost, and I don't want to have to go looking for you."
The girls all chuckled at that, and Roger did as well. After only
another minute, he'd finished getting dressed, and found himself having
to rush to catch up to the girls as they left for the dining hall, or
risk getting left behind.
They got to the dining hall in just a couple minutes, and had to wait in
line to get served, much to Roger's impatience and disgust. The whole
thing reminded him of the Army, or at least all the Army movies that
he'd ever seen since he'd never been in the military himself. And as
horrible as the food was, Breakfast was at least better tasting than the
slop that they'd served for dinner the night before, even if half the
girls seemed to like the stuff.
During breakfast one of the camp counselors came in and called off a
list of the day's activities, and in spite of himself, Roger found that
he was beginning to get interested. After all, the archery sounded
great, and he clearly remembered just how much fun he had with that
back when he was a kid. He'd loved it. Plus there was the rafting and
other camp activities as well. Almost all of which appealed to Roger,
in spite of his unusual circumstances.
As soon as breakfast was over, Roger found himself almost dragged to the
softball game by Cindy and Tanya, while Ellie's stumbled along behind
them, complaining that sports weren't her thing.
When they got to the softball field, Roger watched the girls gathering
and smiled faintly to himself. He hadn't played ball in years. And as
young and energetic as he felt at the moment, he was beginning to really
look forward to actually playing again. Playing softball, and all the
other activities that were scheduled for the day. He didn't know
exactly how he'd gotten into his situation, but even if he was now not
only a girl but his own daughter, he was determined to take advantage of
it for the moment and have as much fun as he could.
--------------------
Sandra was disgusted. First she'd had to put up with the horrible
dinner, and then the cramped cabin, with a room mate who snored. But
now... now she had to go through a breakfast line with a bunch of loud
bullys who kept pushing people out of their way. Herself included. It
was everything that she could do just to keep from hitting them. That
was something which she'd normally refuse to even consider, but the more
she was around those boys, the more she felt like speaking to them on
their own terms. And it was all Roger's fault.
While lost in her own thoughts, Sandra once again didn't pay attention
to where she was going and stepped into the next boy in line.
"Oh," she exclaimed in embarrassment, "pardon me"
"Pardon me?" the scruffy looking boy that she'd walked into repeated.
"What the hell kind of talk is pardon me? Shit, you sound like a fuckin
girl or somethin."
Sandra blushed at the way this boy, and several others started laughing
at her. With that as well as several similar incidents the day before,
she quickly decided that good manners was not considered a virtue among
boys.
Another boy suddenly added, "Well with that long hair, he sure looks
like a girl too." This caused another round of laughter, which only
served to make Sandra blush even more.
"Hey," Joe's voice suddenly interrupted, "leave him alone." Joe walked
up and cut into line, giving all the other boys who were laughing at
Sandra a nasty glare. Their laughing vanished, but the grins didn't
leave their faces.
"Thanks," Sandra told Joe, glad for his help. Somehow though, she
suspected that she was going to get a lot more teasing from those boys
if she wasn't careful.
Joe just shrugged. "No problem." Then he slapped Sandra roughly on the
back, adding, "Don't let them get to you."
"I won't," Sandra promised.
When Sandra had her food and sat down next to Joe at the table to eat,
she couldn't help but thinking of everything that they had scheduled to
do later. They had a nature hike,
