Peter walked up to the door of the little ivy-covered house at
911 Hope Road. He pushed the doorbell but heard nothing. He put
his briefcase containing the foreclosure papers down on the
cracked stoop. He pressed his ear to the chipped paint on the
door and pushed the bell again. There was no sound from within
the house.
He gave up on the doorbell and knocked on the door's warped wood.
The force of his fist opened the door a crack.
"Hello?" he called out. "Is anyone home?"
He reached out and gently pushed the door open further. He stuck
his head inside the house. "Hello? Ms. Franklin? Are you here?"
Peter picked up his briefcase and stepped into the dark house. He
waited until his eyes grew used to the darkness and then closed
the door behind him. There was a tiny click as the lock engaged
itself. The living room was cluttered with old boxes and stacks
of books and newspapers. The furniture was old and tattered. The
walls were covered with photographs, many of them yellowing with
age.
Peter walked across the carpet worn to the color of dust. On the
other side of the living room, there was a small dining room. A
crystal chandelier hung over a large antique table surrounded by
six straight-backed chairs. Peter trailed a line in the dust on
the table as he passed. He smelled cooking coming from the
kitchen at the back of the house and thought he heard someone
moving around back there, the sounds of pots and pans, forks and
knives.
Peter stepped into the kitchen. He could feel the warmth of the
stove on his face. "Ms Franklin?" he called again.
The kitchen seemed to be empty. Peter walked around the kitchen
table where various steaming dishes full of food had been laid
out. He stood in front of the stove, scratching his head. There
were two pots boiling on the burners.
Peter put down his briefcase and opened the door of the stove. A
powerful light flashed and Peter froze. He was leaning forward in
front of the open stove, his slender arms holding a large tin pan
in which sat a large, golden brown turkey. His back ached with
the strain of holding the pan. Oh god, what's happened to me?
Leaning forward, his large breasts were spilling out of the sides
of the tiny frilly apron he wore.
"Why-why do I have breasts?" The apron's lacy trim barely covered
the small brown bush between his shapely thighs. "What's happened
to my penis?"
Behind him, the trim of the apron rode up, leaving his plump,
firm ass all but exposed. "I've got to pull this apron down. I'm
so embarrassed. Everyone can see my bottom."
He could feel the warmth on his long, smooth, naked legs. "These
aren't my legs, are they?"
He was standing precariously in a pair of gold sandals, his
chubby painted toes scrunched to help him keep his balance. "I'm
going to fall! Please help me I can't stand like this much longer
but I can't seem to move a muscle."
His pretty face was turned towards the camera, smiling with
sweet, vacant surprise. "Please help me!"
His large, expressive mouth was painted with bright red lipstick
and formed a perfect "O."
