Some time ago, Raven and I collaborated on an SRU story called Lovers
(K)Not, which is unfortunately incomplete at this time.
Raven created the story idea, basic plot and the main characters, and
then asked me to write a rough draft based on the information that he
gave me. After I completed the rough draft, I sent it to him, where he
polished it up and added quite a bit more detail as well as his own
touches.
Raven posted each chapter to Fictionmania after he'd finished his part
with it, but unfortunately, he has put this story on hold along with
several of his other ones. As a result, the polished story is only half
complete on Fictionmania.
I have talked to Raven and he said that it was okay if I post the rough
draft for the story It was from before he did his work and added it to
FM, but the rough draft does contain the whole story This will at least
give an ending to the story, though it is still not the finalized
version which Raven was working on... and hopefully will return to some
day.
Remember, this was just the rough draft so don't be critical of any
editing errors. It was also written before I changed my format style to
make for easier reading.
SRU: Lovers (K)not (FIRST DRAFT)
By Morpheus and Raven
School had just finished for the day, and Jake Preston, the senior
class president, was heading towards his car, when he spotted someone
coming towards him. A tall, athletic looking black guy, wearing a
school letterman jacket.
"Hey Ty!" he called out to his best friend, and star player on the
football team. "How's it going?"
"Not bad," Tyrone Collins called back, a cocky grin on his face. "We
still on for tomorrow night?"
Jake slapped his friend on the back, saying, "Definitely." Then a
moment later he added, "After you help kick Chesterfield's ass at the
game tomorrow of course," referring to the Thursday night football game
against their rival school.
"Of course," Ty responded, still having the cocky grin on his face.
"Just wait till I..."
Jake tuned out what Ty was saying as he noticed two girls dressed as
cheerleaders making their way towards them. He grinned, recognizing the
taller blonde haired one as his girlfriend Kristi.
"Hi," he said, giving her a kiss to which she passionately responded.
The well-built black girl, who'd been walking next to Kristi smiled
shyly at Jake, then gave Ty a kiss. She was Cricket Allen, Ty's
girlfriend and Kristi's best friend, though Jake often joked that she
was Kristi's sidekick instead. After all, she was only a junior and
Kristi had sort of taken her under her wing. Cricket didn't seem to
mind either way, though she did seem a little quiet most of the time.
"Are we still on for tomorrow?" Kristi asked with a smile.
Jake nodded, assuring them, "Yeah, my parents are still going on that
business trip till Saturday night, so we'll have the house to
ourselves. Even the maid will be gone."
"Awesome!" exclaimed Ty, excited at having Jake's huge house to just
them. "I think I can get some booze from a friend of mine," he half
mused, adding, "Though the coach would kill me if he found out"
"Don't bother," Jake told them confidently, "I've got the keys to my
dad's liquor cabinet and I don't think he'd miss one bottle."
The others seemed satisfied with that arrangement, and continued to
talk about how much fun they were going to have.
They talked for several more minutes, then Cricket interrupted, "If we
don't hurry Kristi, we'll be late for practice."
Kristi looked down at her watch, then said, "Sorry guys, we've gotta
run."
Then with a quick kiss to Jake's cheek, she turned and sauntered off,
with Cricket following close behind her.
"Damn!" Ty exclaimed as he watched the girls walk away, his eyes glued
to Cricket's ass. "Now that's a sight!" Then he shook his head, and
apologized to Jake, "I'd better be going to practice too or the coach
will have me running laps for an hour."
Jake chuckled, saying, "See ya Ty."
Once his friend was gone, Jake sighed, and continued on towards his car
in the parking lot. He still had some things to take care of before
their little party the next night.
After a short drive, Jake ended up at the local mall. He went inside
and started looking around, not quite sure exactly what he wanted, but
thinking that Spencer's would be a good place to look. Jake wanted
something that would liven up their little party, preferably something
that their parents wouldn't approve of. He only hoped that he could
find something interesting, that wouldn't offend the girls too much.
After all, there wasn't much chance that he'd get lucky with Kristi if
she were pissed at him.
Then again, Jake thought to himself with amusement, with Kristi that
didn't seem to matter too much.
Jake took his time as he walked through the mall, not being in any
hurry to head home. He slowly made his way towards Spencer's, but
stopped several times at other stores to see if there was anything
there that caught his eye. In one store, he nearly bought a game of
Twister, thinking that it could be a lot of fun if they played naked.
But then after realizing that he didn't want to be that close to Ty
while naked, Jake decided against it and continued to keep looking.
Finally, when Jake was close to Spencer's, he realized that something
didn't look quite right, but he couldn't place what it was. He paused,
looking around and wondering. Then it dawned on him. Spencer's wasn't
there. Instead a new shop sat in its place. The whole front was covered
over, unlike most shops in the mall, which really made Jake curious.
"That's odd," he muttered, glancing at the window display and seeing
crystal balls, small statues and other odds and ends.
Then he looked at the wooden door, which seemed so out of place in a
modern mall. A sign above the door said Spells R Us, which Jake
realized was the stores name, though he'd never heard of it before.
"Must be a fly by night," he snorted, figuring that they'd be out of
business within a month.
Still Jake wondered exactly what they sold. And more importantly, how
such a small store could replace a major one like Spencer's, and so
quickly at that. He clearly remembered seeing Spencer's there the last
time he was in the mall, just a week earlier. Thinking that with a name
like Spells R Us, it had to be a magic store of some sort, Jake
couldn't help but wondering if maybe some kind of magic trick would be
fun. He didn't really think so, but it was worth at least checking out.
Having made up his mind, Jake opened the door and went in. A little
bell tinkled as the door closed behind him. Jake stopped where he was,
letting his eyes roam the store. He was somewhat surprised to notice
just how many things there were around, piled up on various shelves,
and most of it having no discernible order. The clutter looked more
like a garage sale than something that you'd find in a mall, with
almost everything imaginable thrown in there somewhere. In one corner
he could see costumes hanging from a rack, and on another he could see
a grandfather clock. A statue of a naked woman decorated another spot
on a wall, with piles of high tech children's toys shelved next to it.
And as amazing as the variety was, Jake was even more startled to
notice that some of the items had a layer of dust on them, as if they'd
been sitting there for quite a while. Definitely strange for a store
that hadn't been there the week before.
Suddenly Jake's examination was interrupted by a loud, "Ahem!"
Startled Jake nearly jumped, but managed to get hold of himself and
turned towards the voice.
"May I help you young man?" asked a strangely dressed old man.
He looked almost like he was wearing his bathrobe or something, but it
had faint symbols decorating it which hinted that it might be more than
just a bathrobe.
"Were you looking for something in particular Jake?" he asked when Jake
didn't answer.
"Wha..." Jake gasped, blinking his eyes. "How did you know my name?"
The Old Man smiled faintly, and then answered, "It's my business to
know those things. And of course it doesn't hurt that you're the class
president over at the high school." He grinned, making Jake smile back.
Jake decided that the old man probably had a grandkid or something,
which went to the school and had seen Jake at one of the assemblies or
other school functions. It wasn't the first time that some stranger had
recognized him. Shrugging it off, Jake glanced around, and then looked
back at the Old Man.
"I'm not really sure what I'm looking for."
Nodding as if he had expected that, the Old Man asked again, "What are
you looking for?"
Then Jake started to repeat himself, but somehow he found himself
saying, "Something exciting for a party my friends and I are having
tomorrow night. Something different."
"Ahhhh," the Old Man said with a smile, "different is what I specialize
in. Come right this way young man, I think I have just the thing."
Almost in spite of himself, Jake started following the old man to the
back of the store. "Just a moment," the Old Man apologized, pulling
several things off a shelf. Finally he pulled out a wooden box,
exclaiming, "Here it is."
Jake stared at the box for a moment, noticing that it was the size of a
checkerboard, but about 3 inches thick and carved of a very dark wood.
"What is it?" Jake asked, trying not to sneeze as the Old Man blew the
dust from off of the box.
"This," the Old Man said slowly, "is something different. This is a
game, unlike any that you or your friends have ever played. It's a one
of a kind, and very, very old."
"Sounds interesting..." Jake replied, feeling a little curious, but
suspecting that this old guy was exaggerating.
"Oh, it is," the Old Man chuckled, "very interesting indeed!"
Then, still carrying the wooden box, the Old Man walked back to the
front of the store, to the counter, while Jake followed behind him.
Once at the counter, the Old Man set the wooden box carefully down, and
wiped the dust from it with a rag that Jake hadn't even noticed in his
hand. The box was carefully carved with slight images around the
outside, most prominently that of a rope and several people seeming to
be tied up in it at various points. The hinges on the sides were a
golden color and very ornate, as was the clasp on top.
Without a word, the Old Man undid the clasp, and then folded the top
open on both sides, revealing the contents within. The body of the box
was board, carved with the same wood as the outside, and with a lighter
wood running around the inside in several paths. Obviously a board game
that looked a lot like Life or something of that nature. There were
four circles, one on each corner of the board, carved in light wood.
And from those, each had a path that led towards another circle in the
middle of the board where they all intersected. The circle in the
center also had slightly raised area, though for what reason Jake
couldn't guess.
Then Jake looked at the top half of the box, which had been split open
and folded out on the sides of the board. One side was in light wood,
with writing halfway down it. Obviously the games rules, though why
they wasted half the space and left it blank Jake didn't know. The
other half of the lid was dark red velvet, and had several carved
slots. Four game pieces fit in there, so perfectly that they didn't
seem to need anything to keep them from falling out. Each piece was a
human figure, standing about four inches tall. Two of the figures were
women, and the other two were men. And at the same time, one of each
was made of a golden metal, while the other one was silver.
"Wow!" was all Jake could think to say.
In the same lid half was a stack of white cards, fitted into an
indented slot, and held in by a leather strap. There was also a small
pocket in the cloth, with several bulges, which revealed that something
was inside. Probably the dice, was Jake's guess.
After a few minutes of staring, the Old Man told Jake, "Interesting,
isn't it."
"Um... yeah," Jake admitted.
Though the game definitely looked old and was probably worth a bit, it
probably wouldn't be that fun to play though. It looked far too simple
and obvious. One of those roll the dice and move games, occasionally
picking up cards.
"The Lovers Knot," the Old Man said simply, "that's what it's called.
It is a game, designed for two couples of lovers or friends. You take
turns, rolling the die, then drawing a card. Each card asks rather...
personal... questions," the Old Man winked at Jake, "and if you answer
the question truthfully, you move forward as many spaces as your die
was rolled."
"Yeah," Jake snorted, "and whoever gets to the center first wins."
Still smiling, the Old Man said, "Sort of, but not exactly. That's when
part two begins."
"Part two?" Jake asked, looking at the game again and wondering what
more there could be.
The Old Man answered cryptically, "Oh yes, there's much, much more.
Once the last card is turned, and the winner's spin is spun, the real
game has only just begun!"
Jake was intrigued, in spite of himself. "How much?" he asked, gently
running a handover the wooden case and not noticing the slightly odd
smile on the Old Man's face.
"As I said," the Old Man stated, "the game is a one of a kind, and very
old. The least I could let it go for would be four hundred dollars."
Jake groaned slightly, thinking that this was far too expensive for a
board game, but then again, it was an antique. That would justify it's
cost.
"Do you take credit cards?" he asked hopefully, not wanting to have to
fill out a check.
"Of course." Several minutes later, Jake had finished paying for the
game and thanked the Old Man. "No, thank you!" he told Jake. "I just
know that you and your friends will get caught up in the game." The Old
Man chuckled to himself, as if at some private joke.
Jake just shrugged, picked up the bag that the Old Man had put the game
in, and started for home. He couldn't wait to try playing it.
After the smashing victory over Chesterfield during the ball game, Ty
was pumped up and more than ready for Jake's little get together. He
even had to turn down a couple of his teammates offers to party in
order to go.
"Sorry Man," he told Chet Stevens, the team's running back, "but I've
got other plans." Then Ty gave his skinny white friend a wink, adding,
"Me and Cricket, that is!"
Chet chuckled at that, while Ty finished changing out of his football
uniform and into his street clothes.
"I'll see you guys later," he called out to his remaining teammates,
and then he grabbed his gym bag and hurried from the locker room.
Ty went home, dropped off his gym bag, then immediately left again to
pick up Cricket. It didn't take him long to get to her home as she only
lived a couple miles away. Stopping outside the somewhat run down
apartment, Ty hopped out of his car and started running up the stairs,
carefully stepping over the drunk who was sleeping there. When he
finally made it to Cricket's door, he slowed down to a more respectable
pace, thinking that it wouldn't due for her to think he was in any kind
of a hurry. That just wouldn't be cool.
After knocking loudly on the door, Ty waited impatiently.
"Just like a chick to be late," he muttered, ignoring the fact that he
was actually several minutes early.
The door opened, with Cricket's somewhat overweight Mom standing there.
"She'll be out in a minute," the woman said, gesturing for Ty to come
in.
Ty went in, looking around as he did so, in spite of having been there
plenty of times before. As he glanced at Cricket's Mom, he couldn't
help but wondering how such a fat ass broad could have so fine a
daughter as Cricket.
"Hello Ty," Cricket said, stepping into the room.
Ty gasped, nearly drooling. "Damn you look fine girl!" he complimented
her. Cricket just looked slightly embarrassed, while her mom gave him a
disapproving look. "Ready to go?"
"Actually, I've still got to change my clothes," she said sweetly. "I
hope you don't mind waiting." Then, seeing the look on Ty's face, she
just laughed and told him, "I'm ready!"
Ty just let out a sigh of relief, and then eagerly left with her to go
to Jake's little party.
Arriving at Jake's house, Ty and Cricket got out of the car and started
towards the front door, hoping that Jake was right and that his parents
weren't there. Though he'd been over a couple times before, Ty still
got the impression that his parents weren't happy with him as Jake's
friend, though they didn't actually say anything. Offhandedly, Ty
wondered if that was one of the reasons Jake was his friend. Because
his friendship to a black jock and his poor black girlfriend irritated
his parents. Nah, Ty decided. That was probably just one of the fringe
benefits.
Ty noticed that Cricket looked a little nervous as they stood outside
the front door, and grinned. She's only been to Jake's place once
before, shortly after Kristi had introduced the two of them a couple
weeks earlier. And, Cricket had told him earlier that she wasn't
comfortable going to Jake's house again, seeming to think that a poor
black girl just didn't belong in a rich white boy's house. Saying that
she felt out of place.
"Come on and enjoy yourself," he told her, "lighten up!" Then he gave
her a kiss, which seemed to lighten her mood considerably.
"I'll be fine," she said a moment later. "Besides, Kristi will be
here." Then, as if to show how confident she was, Cricket pushed the
doorbell.
Soon the door swung open and Jake stood there, a wide grin on his face.
Kristi stood right behind him, with a can of diet Coke in her hand.
"Come on in," he invited, gesturing for them both to come inside. "We
can use the living room."
With that Jake led the way as the other three followed close behind. In
moments, they were all settled in the living room, and Jake asked,
"Anyone want a beer?"
Cricket hesitated for just a moment, but seeing that the others were
all going to have one, she said she would too.
Once everyone had gotten comfortable, Jake grinned and said, "I've got
something new I thought we could try out."
"What is it this time?" Ty asked. "Another video game?"
"Nah. Something a little less fancy." Jake got up then went into a
corner, picking up a wooden box and returning to the coffee table. He
set it down, and then undid a latch on top, pausing dramatically before
he continued. "The guy who sold it to me told me that it was a one of a
kind, antique... porn game."
Kristi blushed while Ty chuckled. "You're kidding?" Kristi asked,
looking down at the game.
"Well..." Jake paused. "He never really said porn... but he kind of
suggested it." Ty groaned. "I hadn't really looked at it myself yet. I
was waiting for all you."
"Let's get going then," Ty said, wondering what kind of stupid thing
Jake had got them.
He hoped it wasn't as lame as it sounded. But then again, if it really
were some sort of porn game... then it would definitely have
possibilities. However, as soon as Jake had spread open the lid, and he
got a good look at the board, he decided that it probably wouldn't. The
game looked sort of boring, though rather well made.
Jake pulled out one of the little figurine playing pieces, holding it
in his hand. It was a little silver metal man, about 4 inches tall.
Jake set it down in one of the light colored circles that was closest
to him in one corner of the board.
"I've got my piece," he said. Kristi immediately snapped up the silver
metal woman, setting it in her spot. That left the gold figures for Ty
and Cricket, and since Ty had no intention of using a female playing
piece, he grabbed the tiny man, leaving the gold woman for Cricket.
Once all the pieces were on the board, Jake pulled out a small stack of
cards and shuffled them without looking at the faces.
"Let's keep it a surprise," he said, putting them down on a small
wooden tray on the edge of the board, obviously intended just for the
cards.
"What's in here?" Kristi asked, already opening the pouch and pulling
out the contents.
She held them out for everyone to see, showing a single hand carved
die, which looked as if it might be made of ivory or even marble. She
also held out four gold rings, each designed to look almost like ropes
that ran in a circle.
"Kinda cute!" she said, passing them around so that everyone could have
one.
Just then, Jake started reading the rules off of the lid. "It says that
we each have to put on these rings," he held his up, "and that we roll
the dice, then have to pick a card. We answer the question on the card,
and then we can move our piece forward. The first to the center wins
the first round, then starts the next part." Jake frowned, and then
wondered aloud, "First round? Next part?" He shook his head and
chuckled, saying, "Well the guy that sold it to me said that there was
more to it, but what I don't know."
Jake looked closely at his ring, and then noticed that Kristi had
already put hers on. It seemed to fit her just right too. Shrugging, he
slipped his own on, surprised that it fit him perfectly, almost as if
made just for him.
When everyone had their rings on, Jake said, "Alright, let's roll to
see who goes first." A minute later, they had their order of play. Ty
first, then Kristi, Jake and finally Cricket.
"Momma needs a new pair a shoes," Ty jokingly called out, and then
rolled the die onto the board. It bounced twice, and then came to a
stop with a 2. "Oh man," Ty groaned, "I shoulda got a six."
Kristi said, "Draw a card already. I wanna see what kinda questions
they ask?"
"Yeah, hurry up!" Jake urged him.
"All right already!" Ty groaned, pretending hurt. Ty picked up the top
card from the stack, then turned it over to read. "Describe in detail,
the first time that you ever..." Ty paled as much as his dark skin
would allow, looking embarrassed. Kristi urged him to finish. "First
time you ever had sex," he finished, getting some laughs from his
friends. Ty looked at Cricket, and then asked aloud, "Do the rules say
anything about if we refuse to answer?"
"No!" Jake started.
"Well then," Ty said firmly, "I ain't talking!" But to the surprise of
everyone, Ty especially, he began talking. "It was with Denise Jackson
from my history class. She'd just broken up with Malcolm Lawrence cause
he cheated on her, and was pretty pissed off. When I asked her for a
date, figuring to catch her on the rebound, she grabbed me and
practically dragged me to the broom closet in the school hallway!"
Ty wanted to stop talking, since this was far too embarrassing, but he
found himself compelled to continue, telling everyone how he'd lost his
load right away, before Denise had even gotten off. He told how she was
so pissed; she took a wad of his cum with her fingers, and smeared it
across his face before she left the closet.
When Ty had finished, he saw that his friends were all staring at him,
and Cricket especially looked embarrassed.
"Jeez man..." Jake gasped, obviously startled by Ty's embarrassing
story. And more so that Ty would even admit to it.
Just then Ty's eyes noticed the golden figurine that was his. It was
moving.
"Holy shit!" he exclaimed, watching the little figurine slide two
spaces down the board, then stop. "How'd it do that?"
Ty tried to pick the piece up, wanting to check for magnets or
something, figuring that Jake had obviously lied about the game being
an antique. But he found that his figurine was stuck to the board,
refusing to budge. It was as if it were carved from the same piece of
wood as the board itself.
"Fuck!" he said.
The others all tried moving their pieces off of their starting circles,
but they all met with the same results as Ty. They refused to budge.
"I don't think I like this game," Cricket said, looking at it
nervously. "It's too damn weird."
Jake agreed, but he refused to admit it. "It's just a game," he told
them, then he reminded Kristi, "It's your turn!" He grinned, obviously
wondering what kind of thing she'd be asked to tell.
She glared at him, and then picked up the die from the board. "Here
goes nothing," she said, rolling the die. It came up with a 5, making
Ty groan while she grinned smugly at him. "Ha," she said, and then drew
a card.
Kristi read "What is your most erotic sexual fantasy?" She looked
slightly embarrassed, but noticed that Jake was nearly drooling.
"Men..." she snorted to herself, but then Kristi found herself saying,
"Laying in a pile of silk cushions, dressed in wispy silks and with
three naked, big, muscular men. One kissing each of my breasts, licking
and playing with my nipples, while the third one eats me out, bringing
me to orgasm after orgasm, then sticking his huge cock into me and
filling me completely."
Kristi blushed as she finished, not knowing what had come over her to
make her admit that. God, she thought to herself, she hadn't even told
Jake about that fantasy before.
"Wow!" Jake finally said.
Ty was obviously smirking and about to say something as well, but
Cricket elbowed him in the ribs to keep him silent. Then their eyes
caught Kristi's piece, which like Ty's, was moving on its own. None of
them said a word.
After a minute, Jake muttered, "I guess it's my turn." After Jake
rolled, and came up with a four, he quietly drew a card, and bravely
read it aloud. "Who is the person that you most greatly desire to have
sex with?"
Kristi looked smug, and blew on her fingernails, obviously expecting
Jake to name her. As Jake was about to do just that, the name "Michelle
Phillips" slipped from his lips, almost of its own violation.
"WHAT?!" Kristi demanded, obviously shocked and insulted. "That stuck
up bitch?"
Jake just gaped, and tried to protest, "But..." to no effect.
Michelle Phillips was the last person he should have said, in spite of
the fact that he just now realized it was true. He did want her, and
bad. Unfortunately she and Kristi were bitter rivals in school, and at
worst, hated enemies. Jake knew that he would have definitely been
better off naming anyone else, even Cricket. Seeing the look on
Kristi's face, Jake sighed in defeat, not knowing why he'd said what he
had, but knowing that he wouldn't get laid that night because of it.
Again, his piece moved forward four spaces of its own violation, though
Jake paid it little attention this time.
"Your turn baby," Ty told Cricket, obviously trying to change the
subject.
She gave a shy smile, then rolled the die, coming up with a two. When
she read her card, Cricket blushed, but read anyway, "Who was the first
person you ever had sex with?"
Ty's eyes were riveted to her, while Jake just grinned, already
guessing that Ty would be named. After all, Ty had told him all about
how good she was in bed.
But to Jake's surprise, Cricket said, "No one. I've never had sex
before."
She looked down in embarrassment as her piece moved forward on its own.
"But..." Jake said, about to ask about Ty's story, when Kristi kicked
him in the shin, getting an "Ow!" from him, and the silence that she
wanted.
"Um... your turn Ty."
Ty nodded, then rolled the die and drew his card. He read it aloud, and
quickly found himself describing one of his fantasies. As he described
in detail, his fantasy of having Cricket give him a blowjob, and
swallowing it all, he felt like he was going to die. Though he tried to
stop, he just couldn't. It was like he had to say it. Cricket gasped
and paled during his description, refusing to look at him when he'd
finished.
"Sorry," he apologized, and then looked away, greatly embarrassed
himself.
"Well I'm not playing anymore!" Kristi said, then started to get up,
adding, "I'm not going to answer any more of those questions!"
Cricket and Jake both nodded faintly in agreement. But as Kristi tried
to move away from the board, she found herself unable to. Her muscles
seemed to betray her, forcing her to sit back down again.
"What..." she gasped in confusion as she stared at the die. "I can't
get up"
"I can't either!" Cricket added.
Ty and Jake both tried as well, admitting that they too couldn't move
more than several feet from the board.
"We're stuck!" Ty said dumbly, echoing what the others were thinking.
They all tried again, to no effect. Finally, Cricket suggested, "This
game is obviously doing it, so maybe we just have to finish the game.
Maybe that's what it wants."
Kristi snorted. "That's stupid!"
"No," Jake said slowly, "I don't think it is. I think that Cricket has
a point. We have to finish the game."
They looked at each other, and at the game board, finally agreeing that
it was worth a shot. That they'd finish the game. Kristi sighed, and
wordlessly picked up the die for her roll.
Once Kristi's turn was over, Jake went. Slowly, the players turns went
around the board, each time having their figurines move closer to the
center of the board, and the end of the game. Kristi was in the lead,
having 2 more spaces to go, with Cricket and Ty coming up with four
spaces to go each. Jake was coming up in the rear, still having six
spaces to go.
Finally it was Kristi's turn again, and she looked at the others
smugly.
"This should do it," she said, relieved that the game was about to end,
"All I need is a two to win."
"Get on with it already!" Jake snapped, feeling somewhat annoyed at
being in last place. "Let's get this thing over with."
Kristi just stuck out her tongue at him, and then rolled the die. She
eagerly anticipated her win, while at the same time dreading the card
she'd have to draw. Then, as the die stopped on a one, Kristi
exclaimed, "SHIT!!"
"Suck language!" Ty teased her, grinning broadly. Cricket smiled as
well, knowing that she now had a good chance at winning. "Well go on,
draw a card."
"Easy for you to say!" she snapped. "You probably won't have to do it
again," Kristi snorted as she quickly grabbed a card from the top of
the pile, then glared at everyone before she read it. "Have you ever
faked an orgasm during sex, and if so, describe the last time that you
did so."
Cricket giggled, and in a quiet voice said, "I guess that one's for
girls only."
Kristi sighed, and then answered the question. "Yes I have." She
blushed, not wanting to say what was coming next, but not having any
choice either. "The night before last, when Jake and I were making out
on my living room couch."
"Oooh!" Ty teased Jake, especially seeing the look on his face. "I
guess you aren't as hot as you thought!"
Kristi couldn't bring herself to look Jake in the face, instead
watching her figurine move one space forward.
"Your turn buddy!" Ty told Jake, who just grunted and rolled.
To everyone's surprise, the die landed on a six, making Jake grin.
"Alright," he exclaimed excitedly. "And the game is over." But he found
that he still couldn't leave. Sighing, he said, "I guess I've still got
to do the card thing." A moment later, Jake was reading: "What was your
most embarrassing sexual moment?"
Jake groaned, then told the story of how he had finally managed to talk
one of his dates, the gorgeous Laurie McPhellan into having sex with
him, but before they could do anything, he creamed in his pants and
couldn't get it back up again.
"Shit!" Ty said sympathetically, while the girls both giggled.
Jake knew his face was bright red, but suspected that he'd been
blushing non-stop since the game had begun. For once, he actually
envied Ty his dark skin since blushes wouldn't be visible.
They all watched Jake's figurine slowly slide down the board, until it
finally entered the light colored circle in the middle and stopped.
"I win!" Jake exclaimed proudly. Everyone sighed in relief, glad that
the game was finally over.
But when Kristi tried to put the pieces away, they found that the
figurines were still stuck in place. And something else seemed wrong,
though none of them could place it.
"I don't like this," Cricket muttered, "not at all."
Ty suddenly pointed to the board, where a green glow was coming from
the center. Right underneath Jake's piece.
"Um... guys!" he said, drawing their attentions.
The green glow in the center of the board intensified, filling up the
entire circle. Then the glow was gone, but so was Jake's figurine.
Instead the light colored circle in the center of the board had a dark
metal arrow, sitting on a spinner.
"Fuck!" Ty muttered, staring in surprise.
They stared at it for a moment, and then Jake nervously touched it,
feeling a tingle along his fingertip. "Wonder what it's for?" he asked,
not paying attention as Cricket exclaimed that more game rules had
appeared on the lid.
Jake just shrugged, and since the arrow was obviously meant to be spun
for some reason, he spun it. Around and around the arrow went,
beginning to slow down after several rotations. Finally the arrow
slowed enough to stop, pointing right at Cricket.
Kristi jokingly asked, "What is this, spin the bottle?" But before she
received an answer, the green glow returned, ten times brighter than
before.
For a split second, it seemed as if a pillar of green light was pouring
from the center of the board, then exploding outward. Jake gasped and
jumped backwards in surprise, with the green light hitting him seconds
later.
Ty stared at the board in confusion. As soon as Jake had spun that
funky arrow, it all started glowing green for a second. Then blammo,
that green light pours out everywhere, and seems to go straight for
Jake and Cricket. Both of them were lying on the ground, while he and
Kristi hadn't been touched.
"Too fuckin weird!"
And on top of that, the board didn't have that arrow in the middle
anymore, and all four of the figurines were knocked over on their
sides.
"You okay Cricket?" Ty asked his girlfriend, leaning over and checking
to see that she was all right. He sighed in relief when he noticed that
she was still breathing. "Jake?" he called over to his friend, who was
likewise motionless on the floor.
Then to Ty's surprise, Cricket muttered, "What?"
Jake was confused for a moment. The light had hit him hard, almost like
it was something solid. Then, everything had gotten really dizzy for a
moment.
The next thing he knew, Ty was sitting over him, looking worried.
"I'm not that bad," Jake asked Ty. "Am I?"
But since Jake didn't feel any pain, just rather odd for some reason,
he sat up.
As soon as he sat up, Jake knew that something was wrong, though he
couldn't put his finger on just what it was. Then it dawned on him. His
whole body felt wrong for one thing, but the unfamiliar weight on his
chest and the hair brushing his shoulders were sure signs.
"Are you all right baby?" Ty asked Jake, making Jake even more
confused. Why the hell was his best friend calling him baby?
"What are you talking about?" Jake snapped, and then froze at the
unfamiliar voice that had just come from his throat. No, not really
unfamiliar, just not his. "What the hell?" Jake gasped as he jumped to
his feet, feeling the giggling on his chest. He looked down and gasped
even more, his jaw dropping and his eyes going wide.
"NO WAY!" he cried out, seeing a pair of breasts pushing out from his
chest.
Pushing out incredibly far, or so they seemed to him. He immediately
recognized the shirt he was wearing as Crickets, and with the dark
colored skin that seemed to cover his now small hairless arm, Jake had
good idea what had happened.
"Shit!" he exclaimed in shock.
"Cricket?" Ty hesitantly asked, obviously wondering what was wrong with
Jake, whom he just as obviously thought was Cricket. "What's wrong?"
Just then, Kristi piped up, "Jake seems confused too."
Jake looked over and saw his own body, standing up and looking down at
itself in confusion and shock, muttering, "Oh shit, oh shit, oh
shit..." over and over again.
Ty put an arm around Jake's shoulders, making Jake cringe. He pulled
himself away, and then snapped, "I'm not Cricket." He stared at his own
body, inhabited by the real Cricket he assumed, then he continued, "I'm
Jake. JAKE!"
Jake stared up at Ty, feeling so small suddenly. Usually he and Ty were
about the same size, but now... God, Ty seemed huge to him, towering
over him by six or seven inches.
"I'm Jake," he said more quietly, trying to get control of himself.
This couldn't be real, but he knew that it was. It was too realistic to
be a dream. He looked down at his dark skinned hands, with the long
feminine nails, then at his breasts pushing out and the cleavage that
they left visible. No, not a dream at all.
"I'm Cricket," Jake heard his own voice say from across the room, "But
how'd Jake and I trade bodies?" she sounded scared, but was obviously
holding on a little better than Jake.
He took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down, not wanting to
look any worse than he already did.
"The game," he said quietly, stating the obvious.
They all nodded, realizing that the green glow had done it when it had
hit Cricket and him.
"Fuck!" Ty exclaimed, stepping away from Jake, staring at him in
disbelief.
"That really you Jake?" When Jake nodded, Ty said. "Christ, you're a
girl!"
"REALLY!?" Jake snorted back sarcastically. "How did you guess?" Then
Jake shook his head again, feeling the slight weight of earrings, and
the swish of long hair. "Jeez I feel weird!"
"Me too!" Cricket echoed. A moment later, she asked, "But how do we get
back to normal?"
Jake looked at her fearfully, terrified for a moment that it was
permanent. What the hell would he do if he were stuck as Cricket? As a
girl?
Kristi was staring at the both of them, obviously stunned as well. Then
she giggled, beginning to find it funny.
"You look so cute as a girl," she told Jake.
Jake scowled, not realizing that it looked more like a pout on
Cricket's face. Feeling rather unbalanced in the slightly high heels
that he realized he was wearing, Jake sat down on the couch, staring at
the game and at his own body, which sat down across from him.
Kristi suddenly said, "You said something about the rules before that
light..." She was looking at Jake, and then apparently realizing that
she was talking to the wrong person, she turned to Cricket instead.
"Uh... yeah," Cricket said, trying to gather her thoughts. She moved
over and looked at the lit to the board game, then exclaimed, "When
that arrow popped up, some more rules popped up here on the lid too."
Everyone tried to get where they could read the new additions to the
rules, while Cricket read them aloud:
"It says that if anyone leaves the game, they can't come back into it
again. Ever." They looked at each other, obviously wondering how they
were supposed to leave the game when they thought it was over. "It says
that when the spinner appears, part 2 of the game really begins. The
winner of part one trades bodies with whomever the spinner points
to..." She stopped and looked at Jake, who gulped, realizing that he
shouldn't have been in such a hurry to spin that damn arrow.
"Just great," Jake mumbled to himself, trying to cross his arms. When
they wouldn't cross very well with his boobs in the way, he scowled
again and folded his hands across his lap.
Cricket continued, "It says that anyone can leave the game by pulling
off their rings..." She grinned, reaching for her own, but pausing as
she went on. She paled, and pulled her hand away from the ring. "But
they stay in whatever body they're in at the time. Permanently." Jake
looked at his own crossed hands, and carefully separated them. "It also
says that if anyone outside the game guesses that someone isn't who
they seem to be, everyone loses the game... and get stuck in the bodies
they're in."
"Shit," Jake exclaimed. "You mean we have to pretend to be each other
until we change back?" Cricket nodded. "Shit!" he said again, wondering
how they were supposed to change back. "Does it say how we get back to
normal?" he asked.
Cricket shook her head no. "It only says how we can leave the game by
pulling off the rings, and how we can all lose by someone guessing. And
it also says something about being adapted to our new lives when we
leave the game, whatever that means. It doesn't even say how we win the
game."
"Great," Jake snorted, "just great."
"I can't believe that you two traded bodies," Ty said, still looking
stunned by the whole thing. "That kind of stuff doesn't happen in the
real word. That's like Star Trek shit or something."
"Well I hope you get back to normal soon," Kristi snorted, "I mean,
what can I do with my boyfriend in a another girls body?"
Jake sighed. That was real sympathetic of her, he thought to himself
sarcastically.
For the next ten minutes, they all stared at each other, particularly
Jake and Cricket, and at the board game.
Finally Cricket jumped up. "What time is it?" she demanded.
"It's only eleven," Kristi told her impatiently.
"Oh no!" Cricket moaned. "I'm late!"
"What are you talking about?" Kristi snapped.
Cricket looked down at herself, then at Jake. "I told my momma that I'd
be home by eleven. She'll kill me!" Cricket looked about ready to cry,
and Ty looked caught in indecision between trying to comfort her as was
normal, and disgust at even touching Jake's body like that. "But I
can't go home like this!" she whined more.
"And the rules said no one outside the game can know," Ty said in
realization.
Then they all looked at Jake, who thought 'Oh no!'
"Please!" Cricket begged him. "You have to go home for me. I don't
wanna be grounded for a month. And that's what momma would do."
Jake's stomach turned, not liking that idea at all. This was his house
after all, and his parents weren't home. Why couldn't he stay right
were he was? But then he saw the pleading look on Cricket's face, and
sighed in surrender.
"All right," he said reluctantly. "I guess we will have to pretend to
be each other until we get back to normal. Or..." he gulped, "it could
become permanent." That thought made Jake shudder.
"Then I guess we're done for the night," Kristi sighed, looking
disappointed. She'd obviously had other plans for her and Jake after Ty
and Cricket had left, and now she wasn't going to be able to.
"Oh thank you!" Cricket said, giving Jake a hug. He felt so tiny
compared to even his old body, and strange when his new breasts pushed
into Cricket for a moment. "You'll need this," she said, handing Jake
her purse. Then she quickly gave Jake instructions for how to deal with
her parents and brother, while at the same time urging him out the
door.
Minutes later, everyone had left except Cricket. Ty gave Kristi a ride
to her house and dropped her off, then drove Jake over to Cricket's. As
he got out of the car, and looked at the apartment building, Jake
decided that he didn't have a good feeling about that. Not at all.
"I'll show you which apartment," Ty told Jake, obviously uncomfortable
in his friend's presence. When they got upstairs and to the front door,
they both stopped for a moment. Then Jake was caught by surprise when
Ty bent over and kissed him in the lips.
"What the..." Jake gasped when Ty had pulled away.
"God, I'm sorry," Ty apologized, looking embarrassed, "I forgot
that..."
"Just forget about it!" Jake snapped. Ty still looked embarrassed.
"Tomorrow we can try figuring this out... and hopefully get me back to
normal."
Ty nodded. They said their good-byes, and then Jake used a key he found
in the purse to unlock the door, and went inside.
Inside the apartment, Jake was struck by just how small it was compared
to his house. How different it was, but at the same time, how lived in
it looked. This was obviously somebody's home, and not the showpiece
that his own house was. Most of his house was just something else for
his rich parents to show off, and it needed to be kept in the right
condition. This place however, Cricket's apartment, was completely
different.
Trying to be quiet, Jake started walking through the apartment, not
wanting to wake anybody up. He only hoped that he could find Cricket's
bedroom all right, not knowing where anything really was.
Then Jake suddenly heard, "And where have you been young lady?"
Startled he turned and saw a somewhat overweight black woman standing
there, looking rather angry. "Well?" she asked again.
"I'm sorry," Jake said, guessing that this was Cricket's momma as she
called her. "We were just a little late finishing up. We were playing a
board game and..."
The matronly looking woman just sighed. "I told you eleven o-clock, and
it's past that." She scowled. "You know I oughta ground you right here
and now... but..." She shook her head slightly. "Just go to bed girl.
I'm too tired to yell at you right now."
Jake sighed in relief, and then started walking in the direction that
Cricket's "momma" had pointed when she said go to bed.
With that bit of help, Jake had no problem finding Cricket's bedroom.
Once he was in the bedroom, with the lights on, Jake looked around. It
was so much smaller than his own room, and so girly. There were
pictures of boys all over the walls, mostly black sports stars or
musicians that he didn't recognize. Seeing a mirror hanging from the
door, Jake went and looked at himself. Cricket stared right back,
making him feel uncomfortable. He'd never had a strangers face in the
mirror before, so thought that he was handling it pretty well
considering.
"Shit," he whispered, gently running a finger over his dark skinned
face.
Over the full lips. He pulled his hand away, staring at it for a moment
before looking back into the mirror. The image was still Cricket's.
With her beautiful face and the figure that had made her one of the
most popular cheerleaders in the school.
Jake yawned, realizing that he'd probably better get to bed soon. First
however, he realized that he felt a familiar need. Leaving Cricket's
room, Jake made his way to the bathroom, and nervously undid her skirt.
With the skirt and panties out of the way, he sat down on the toilet
seat, reminding himself that this was how he'd have to do it until he
could get back to normal. He looked at the feminine pubic mound between
his legs, then ran a finger through the silky black hair and touched
the folds of his new vagina.
He shuddered at the sensitivity. He found that relieving himself felt
about the same, though it sort of sprayed out differently. Not on the
tight stream he was used to. Afterwards he wiped himself with some
toilet paper, remembering that girls had to do that. Several minutes
later, he was back in Cricket's room.
Standing in front of her mirror, Jake slowly stripped his clothes off.
Though Cricket wasn't the type of woman that he liked, Jake had always
thought she'd had a nice figure. He just preferred white women,
especially blondes. Still her naked body staring back at him couldn't
help but make him feel a little horny. His nipples were beginning to
get hard, and he could feel his crotch beginning to get a little moist.
He gently touched his vagina and verified that he was indeed beginning
to get wet, amazing himself at the same time. Though he hadn't wanted
to admit it, he had felt a little bit of this earlier when Ty had
kissed him. But this was definitely stronger.
Jake's hands started rubbing his nipples, almost of their own will. It
felt so good to do so. One of his hands slipped in between his legs,
and began to gently rub himself there as well. It felt incredible. Jake
couldn't believe the strangely familiar sensations, and just how strong
they were. He felt both disgusted at himself for the lack of control,
and wanting more. Jake climbed onto Cricket's bed, and continued to
play with himself, bringing the sexual tension to higher and higher
levels until he suddenly orgasmed. It nearly shook his body and Jake
gasped for air when it was done.
"Wow!" he whispered, tempted to do it again but beginning to feel
guilty.
Silently he reached over and turned off the light, hoping that he could
get to sleep.
***
Cricket couldn't believe it. There she was, not only all alone in the
house of the richest boy in school, but in his body as well. It felt so
freaky to suddenly be turned into a guy, and even freakier when she
looked at Jake in her own body, realizing just how small he looked to
her now. She could even look Ty straight in the eyes, something that
she'd never been able to do before. That, and looking down to see
Kristi had almost been fun.
Before she'd been too shocked to look down at her new body, half afraid
of what she'd see. But now that she was all alone, her curiosity
started to return. The thought of being in a guy's body was so
embarrassing, and unbelievable. She wanted to look at herself more
closely, but at the same time she was afraid to. Instead she decided to
divert herself by exploring something else that had been nagging at her
curiosity. Namely Jake's house.
When Cricket had finally satisfied herself, after peaking into every
room, she was forced to confront herself again. Not that she had much
choice when she realized that she had to go to the bathroom. The
experience was strange for her, standing up and aiming at the toilet.
Unfortunately, she found that hitting what she was aiming at wasn't as
easy as she'd thought. The small puddle on the floor and the droplets
that had splashed around attested to that.
"I can't believe I'm touching a white boy's cock," she said aloud, not
even having touched Ty's yet. "This is too weird!" she added, looking
at the strange piece of flesh between her legs.
It looked so pale and unhealthy too, not like her normally dark skin.
Beginning to feel a little disgusted, Cricket pulled her pants back up,
and hurried out of the bathroom.
A short while later, Cricket went into Jake's bedroom, amazed at how
big it was compared to hers. And how nice.
"This boy is loaded," she observed to herself.
As quickly as she could, Cricket stripped out of Jake's clothes, all
but his shorts. She then looked at herself in a small mirror in the
corner, wincing at the fairly athletic teenage boy that looked back.
Not just a boy, but a rich white boy at that. It felt so strange. After
looking at herself for only a moment longer, Cricket turned off the
light and climbed into bed. It was going to be a long night.
***
When Jake woke in the morning, he thought, 'What a strange dream,'
until he opened his eyes and was met with the sight of Cricket's
bedroom.
"Shit!" he muttered, realizing that it hadn't been a dream. "Shit!" he
said again, as he climbed out of bed and felt his breasts jiggle
uncomfortably. "I can't believe this!"
But unfortunately, Jake did. The weight on his chest, and the void
between his legs gave him no choice.
Jake was about to look into the closet for something to wear, dreading
what he was going to find, when he caught sight of Cricket's bathrobe.
Jake threw that around his body instead, fastening it tightly at the
waist and finding it oddly comfortable.
As soon as Jake left the bedroom, determined to find a shower, he was
confronted with, "Well good morning sleepy!"
Startled Jake looked and saw Cricket's mother. "Mrs... Momma," he
caught himself. "Um... good morning."
Cricket's momma just sighed and said, "Hurry up girl. Your friend
Kristi called and said she was gonna be over in a while."
"Thanks!" Jake said, feeling embarrassed.
God, how should he face Kristi like this again. But he also knew that
if he was going to pretend to be Cricket, which he'd have to in order
to get his own body back, he'd need all the help she could give him.
Trying to keep that in mind, Jake hurried to the bathroom to take his
shower.
The shower felt incredibly good to Jake, though he struggled to keep
his hands from exploring too much. His nipples felt so sensitive with
the water hitting them, quickly becoming erect, and soon Jake was wet
in more ways than one. Ignoring the temptation to play with himself, he
finished the shower and climbed out. He couldn't believe how good he
felt. How refreshed and ready to go.
Returning to Cricket's bedroom, Jake started to pick himself some
clothes to wear, looking for something that wasn't too showy. It wasn't
until he had them pulled out that he remembered that no one could guess
he wasn't Cricket, or else... He couldn't do anything out of the
ordinary for Cricket, having to stay in character as much as he could.
Sighing Jake gave in to his better judgment and slipped on the tight
pants that Cricket usually wore, and the too short shirt revealing too
much cleavage. He even tried to put on the makeup the way she usually
did, failing absolutely miserably. Finally Jake gave up on that,
cleaning the remains of it off of his face, and waiting for Kristi. She
at least would be able to help him.

When Cricket awoke in the morning, she was startled to feel a pressure
between her legs. Sitting up, she gasped, remembering immediately what
had happened the day before, but still was unable to take her eyes off
the bulge in her shorts. They felt so tight, and she was shocked to
realize that she had an erection.
"I've got a boner," she whispered to herself, nervously touching the
bulge in her shorts with a finger.
After a few minutes, she was still hard, and it felt rather odd.
Curious she couldn't resist sliding a hand down her shorts and feeling
it.
"Wow!!" she gasped, and then stripped the shorts off to get a better
look at herself.
It was a lot bigger than it was the day before now that she was hard.
And it certainly felt a lot better. Cricket found her hands stroking
her new penis, almost on their own. It felt good, and so different. She
felt herself getting closer and closer, then finally she came, spurting
white creamy goo all over her hand, and on the bed.
"Gross!" she said, wiping her hand in disgust.
And already her hard-on was gone, leaving her penis once again at its
smaller size. Cricket wrinkled her nose in disgust at the sticky mess
that she'd left, and decided to go shower and clean up.
***
Kristi couldn't believe it. She couldn't believe that what happened the
night before was real. That her best friend and boyfriend had traded
bodies because of some freaky game. She was even beginning to doubt her
memories of the night before, or wondering if instead it might be some
sort of joke that they were playing on her. But it had seemed to real,
and her memories were far too sharp. No, Kristi decided that it had to
be real, as unbelievable as it seemed. She wasn't used to doubting
herself, and refused to keep doing so now.
Though thought of James, stuck in Cricket's body almost seemed amusing
to Kristi. But after all the time and effort she'd put into seducing
him, into making sure that he was hers...
Unfortunately rich potential husbands weren't easy to come by, and with
the wealth that Jake's family had, and his future career as a lawyer,
Jake had been her best hope to get somewhere in the world. Kristi
shuddered at the thought of having to start all over again. Perhaps
even with Cricket. That last really made her shudder.
After Kristi had gotten up, and doubted what had happened, she made a
quick call to Cricket to verify that it hadn't been a dream. She'd
called Jake's house, and was pleased when Jake's voice answered the
phone, and even more pleased when he/she verified that she was really
Cricket.
"Jake's housekeeper even made me breakfast!" Cricket had told her
excitedly.
Once she'd gotten off the phone with Cricket, Kristi thought about her,
all alone in Jake's house. Except for the housekeeper of course. Just
thinking about that made Kristi feel somewhat envious; almost wishing
that it had been her that had traded with Jake instead of Cricket. Then
she'd be the one with access to all that money. Hell, she wouldn't need
to marry Jake anymore, she'd be him. Kristi chuckled at the thought,
finding it oddly appealing.
However they still didn't have any idea how to reverse the swap, much
less cause another. So for the moment, Kristi put that out of her mind,
or at least tried to. Instead, Kristi decided to see how Jake was
handling what happened.
"That ought to be worth some laughs," she muttered as she reached for
the phone.
A little while later, Kristi started towards Cricket's apartment, eager
to see just how well Jake was doing. He hadn't been up yet when she'd
called earlier, but Kristi figured that he should be up by now.
When she got there, Kristi was rather startled to see that Jake was
dressed in Cricket's usual revealing way, not at all conservative like
she would have suspected. Then Kristi remembered the rule about no one
being able to guess who they were, or actually, who they weren't.
Obviously Jake had remembered that one as well. And for the moment,
Kristi decided that helping Jake to pass as Cricket was in her best
interest.
"Okay, let me help you with your makeup," Kristi told Jake when she
noticed that he hadn't put any on.
"Thanks!" he said, actually sounding relieved.
She grinned, thinking that this might be easier than she thought. So,
with great enthusiasm, Kristi started on teaching Jake everything she
could about makeup, as well as how Cricket normally acted, being
careful that Cricket's mom didn't notice any of this. It certainly
wouldn't do to arouse suspicions while trying to avoid them.
Jake had been thankful for the help that Kristi had been giving him,
and had learned a lot from her makeup lessons.
'So that's how they do it,' he thought to himself once he was finished
and looked in the mirror.
The reflection was Cricket's, showing no hint that it could be anyone
else. Much to Jake's disgust, and relief.
"Ready to go?" Kristi asked from behind Jake, a slightly smug grin on
her face, though Jake didn't see it.
"Sure," he nodded, getting up and trying to keep his balance in the
high heels that he'd put on. It hadn't been easy, but with wearing them
for the last few hours during their lessons, and his being able to
practice around the room, he was sure that he could manage. "Not bad,"
he muttered under his breath as he took another look at the mirror and
admired the reflection.
He shook his head, hardly able to believe that it was him. That he was
that beautiful black girl that stared back. And though he knew he
should feel ashamed, he felt a slight tinge of pride instead.
Then Jake turned back to Kristi and said, "Well... what are we waiting
for?"
"Not a damn thing!" she said grinning.
And with that they started on their way to the mall, ready for Kristi
and Cricket's usual Saturday shopping, though Cricket's was just window
shopping.
At the mall, Jake found himself tagging along behind Kristi while she
rushed them from one shop to another, trying on numerous different
shoes and clothes. He wasn't sure that he liked being put in the role
of Kristi's sidekick, but since he didn't know what was really going
on, he didn't have much choice. But he did find some positives about
the situation. Such as seeing Kristi numerous times in various states
of undress as they changed clothes in the dressing rooms. And he even
found that it was fun to play dress-up himself. He was amazed at just
how much his entire appearance could change with just some different
clothes, and oddly enough, how good that made him feel. He was actually
getting turned on by the sexy clothes he was wearing.
Slowly Jake forgot about his embarrassment, and following Kristi's
lead, he let himself go wild. Let himself fall into the role of
sidekick and teenage girl, trying on the makeup and clothes. Even
chatting with Kristi about how some of the jewelry in the jewelry store
would look on them. As the day went on, Jake never noticed the self-
satisfied smile that kept appearing on Kristi's face.
When the shopping trip was finally over and they returned to Cricket's
apartment, Jake hadn't bought a thing, though due to Kristi's
generosity, and insistence, he still had several new additions to
Cricket's wardrobe.
One of them he wore back, at Kristi's insistence, though he hadn't
really offered any resistance either, secretly enjoying himself.
Once they were back in Cricket's room, Kristi told Jake, "You look
fantastic. I bet Ty will love it!"
Jake's eyes went wide as he thought about his best friend seeing him
like that.
"What do you mean?" he nervously asked, gulping.
God, he'd be so embarrassed. It was bad enough to be seen like that by
his girlfriend, but his best friend... Jake gulped.
"Of course!" Kristi responded. "Cricket and Ty had a date tonight. Or I
should say, you and Ty have a date tonight."
"But I can't..." Jake started to protest.
"You have to," Kristi told him, smiling. "We can't let anyone see
anything out of the ordinary. And not going on this date would
certainly seem that."
Jake groaned. "I guess you're right," he admitted, "but I don't like
it."
At least, he told himself, he wouldn't have to do anything with Ty once
they were out of the house. Afterwards they could just go over to his
place or something.
Kristi put her hand on Jake's shoulder and looked sympathetic. "Look at
the bright side. You're already dressed for it, and you'll get to see
what it's like from the other side." She giggled slightly, making Jake
smile in spite of himself.
"Well..." Kristi looked at her watch. "I've got to get going, and Ty
should be here in a little while. Cricket told me that their date was
for six." Jake nodded, then said goodbye to Kristi as she left.
After leaving Jake at Cricket's apartment, Kristi hurried over to
Jake's house to see how Cricket was doing. She was eager to see just
how well Cricket was handling the situation after being with Jake all
day. She waited impatiently for someone to answer the door after she'd
rang the doorbell, and soon the housekeeper let her in.
"Jake's up in his room," the frumpy middle aged woman told Kristi.
"He's been there for most of the day."
Kristi thanked the woman, then hurried up to Jake's room, resisting the
urge to actually run.
Kristi burst into Jake's room, and grinned to see Cricket sitting there
at Jake's computer.
"Hi, how's it going?" she asked cheerfully, glad that Cricket didn't
seem to be too happy.
It wouldn't due for her to get too comfortable in her new body, not if
Kristi was to ever have any kind of chance.
"All right I guess," Cricket said, "all things considered that is." She
gestured down at herself and gave Kristi a wry smile. "It's kind of
freaky really, but in some way's it's not that much different."
For the next several minutes, they talked, avoiding the subject of the
change, but soon their conversation returned to it. "So what did you do
all day?" Kristi asked.
Cricket sighed. "Mostly I just surfed the web. We don't have any
