When you are playing poker, confidence must always be displayed. Darn,
eight of hearts, not the card I needed. I had two pairs, four's and

"The dealer holds." said Frank confidently.
Frank was the hardest to read. Our shop foreman was an ex-Marine and

others had excuses for not being out on a Friday night, but not me. I

"I fold." Ray started as he threw in his cards. I knew he didn't have
anything.
"I'll see your two." Vince chimed in. He was still fidgeting. I was
sure he didn't have anything.
"I'll see your two and raise you one." Frank said with the up most
confidence.
Was he bluffing? I couldn't tell, but I'll wager he is.
"I'll see your raise and raise you another one." I said with a laugh.
"I'm out." Vince said in a depressed tone.
"Okay, I'll match you and call." Frank said as he grinned.
"Two pair, eight high." I said as I threw the cards on the table.
"Well, I have two pair also, a pair of red nines and a pair of black
nines." Frank stated with delight. The other guys laughed hardly at my
bad fortune. Frank always seemed to come out on top.
"Well, it's time for me to go home and spank the monkey, if you know
what I mean." Vince said as he was standing up.
Ray responded, "I thought I was the only one who did that! I'll be
making use of my Playboy magazines shortly."
