One day Martin found her in a somber mood. After asking what was wrong, Beth replied that she was reading weddings and that the father or male relative escorted the bride down the aisle. Finally she blurted out that she had to talk to her father to see if he would do it. Martin agreed and contacted them to meet him at a park. Martin didn't tell them that he would be bringing Beth who used to be their son Seth. At the park, Beth gripped Martins arm and pointed out her parents. John and Elizabeth Belasimo were waiting for them and waved at Martin as they approached them. Elizabeth stated, "What a nice couple. I didn't know you had a girl friend Martin?" Martin stated, "Please sit down. This will come as quite a shock." After they were seated, he continued, "Mr. & Mrs. Belasimo, I would like to introduce you to your son, now daughter. You see Seth your son is now Beth in front of you." John stormed to his feet and said, "You expect me to believe that the gorgeous young girl is my son? I don't believe it." Beth quickly said, "Sit down father!" She proceeded to name times, events and even personal family history that no one other than Seth would have known. After a period of this, John sat in stunned silence and Elizabeth was crying into a hanky. "I asked Martin to bring you here so that you could understand a couple of things. The first is that I am a woman and love being a woman. Nothing will change that. The second is that Martin and I are going to get married soon." John again stormed to his feet almost yelling, "You love being a woman? I can't believe I agreed to your mother's request to have a baby. I knew that was a mistake from the beginning and now have final confirmation that my feeling was correct." Beth stated through gritted teeth, "Father - You have made this plainly obvious for as long as I can remember. I tried everything in the world to get you to appreciate what I had done and even did some things I now deeply regret. But nothing I did made any difference to you. No matter how hard I tried, you made it plain that you thought I was baggage and the sooner I left the better it would be." With that John started to storm off. Elizabeth still sat on the bench and called after John. "If you leave now, you can pack your stuff and hit the road. Beth is exactly right. When she was a boy she would be crying saying that ?Daddy doesn't love me!' and I would try to tell him that yes, Daddy does love him, but can't really show it. You treated Seth like garbage. You didn't care what he did to try to do to get you to love him." Elizabeth is openly crying. John stands in stunned silence for a couple of minutes. Finally he comes and sits down on the bench next to Elizabeth. John said with a resigned voice, "OK. You are Seth. But why did you change your body to become a woman?" Martin quickly informed them of the revenge that he had planned and that he had fallen in love with Beth and had removed the restrictions. He also stated that he and Beth were deeply and truly in love with each other. Nothing could separate them. John said, "I can understand the revenge. Seth really screwed you over in high school. You say that you removed all the restrictions? Beth I order you to get surgery to return to being Seth!" Beth stood in front of Martin and said, "Father, this will be the last time I call you that." Beth then slowly stated with clenched teeth, "I love Martin and will stay a woman for the rest of my life." Then Beth continued normally, "I brought you here to see if you would walk me down the aisle and give my hand away to Martin during my marriage ceremony. Think carefully. If you say no, that is the last you will ever see of my husband, my children and me. I will file restraining orders that will not permit you come within ten miles of my family at any time. Mom can stop by anytime she likes and will know her grandkids. You will not! John sat on the bench next to his wife who continued to cry. Finally he said, "I am sorry for the way that I behaved. Your mother tried to point this out, but I was stupid and resentful of your presence. I can't make that up to you, but I would like a chance to start over. I will walk you down the aisle and will give you away to Martin." John thought for a second and said, "You said children. You can become pregnant?" Beth pointed to her left arm and said, "Once these birth control strips are neutralized, I can become pregnant." Beth then kneeled down in front her mother who was still crying. "Mom. I do love you. What is wrong?" Elizabeth finally manages to say that she had been hoping that Seth would confront his father like this. But what had really made her cry is that she had always wanted a baby girl named Beth. Beth is shocked and said; "I didn't know that. Why didn't you tell me?" Beth's mother just cried and said that she didn't want hurt Seth more than he was already hurting because of his father. Beth started crying and together they hugged each other. Finally Beth's mother stopped crying and said, "You are really beautiful you know. You turned out exactly as I envisioned Beth would turn out. I couldn't be happier." - * - * - * - Finally the day of the wedding arrived and John did walk Beth down the aisle as Beth had requested. Beth and Martin were married and John even danced with his daughter at the wedding dance. Finally he took Beth off to the corner and said. "Beth. I am very pleased with you and your choice of a husband. I am still deeply sorry that I treated you so badly as my son." John reached into his coat pocket and pulled out an envelope and gave it to Beth. "Inside this envelope is your future. Make your future better then I did. Maybe this will help you along. Your mother and I wanted you to have this." Wordlessly, Beth opened the letter to find both a legal letter and check for a considerable amount of money. She read the legal document and found that she would be the sole inheritor of her parent's estate. Beth quickly hugged her father and cried for a little while. John's arms hugged her back and Beth had received the first hug from her father that she can ever remember. This caused her to cry even more. Finally through tear stained eyes, she looked up and said "I had promised that I wouldn't call you father anymore and I won't! You are now Daddy!" Elizabeth sitting near them began to cry with tears of joy. - * - * - * - The money that Beth's father had given them along with the money that Beth had transferred to Martin was used to buy a large new house in the suburbs. At Beth's insistence and agreed to by Martin, the birth control strips in her left arm were neutralized. After three months, Beth became pregnant. Beth delivered her first child 12 months after her wedding day and was pleased to see that the baby was a girl. She loves the feeling of the baby suckling on her breasts and gazes with love at Martin. Beth and Martin had agreed on the name of Tonya Elaine for the new daughter. John found that enjoyed the feeling of being a grandparent and couldn't wait to see his granddaughter every time they came to visit. Of course he would spoil her rotten, but after all - isn't that what grandparents are supposed to do? As he entered the door to Beth's house, he would hug Beth long and hard and tell her that he loved her. Once when Martin and John were alone, John made Martin promise to be a much better father than John was. For the next five years, Beth became pregnant four more times. She alternated between boys and girls until there were three girls and two boys. The granddaughters were named using the grandmother's first names as their middle names - Carrie Elizabeth and Hannah Marie. The boys were similarly named using the grandfather's first names as their middle names - Terrance John and Michael James. -* - * - * - Of course the grandparents doted on their grandchildren and each was proud that the couple had used their names in naming the grandkids. When ever the kids see the grandparents, they would drop what they are doing and would come running yelling "Gran' ma! Gran' pa!" John always tells each grandchild that he loves them very much and is happiest when they tell him that they love him too. - * - * - * - Beth is madly in love with Martin and would lovingly and willingly do any request, no matter what. Beth is an excellent and patient mother to her kids. She still prefers to wear dresses and skirts and still looks stunning. Martin has since mostly forgotten that Beth was once Seth and too is madly in love with Beth. Beth has become closer to her mother and talks on the phone to her at least three to four times a week. John takes over from his wife at the end of conversation and always tells Beth that he loves her. Beth always says "I love you too, Daddy." Slowly the two of them got closer and closer until John admitted to his wife within Beth's hearing that he was a fool and could have been a better father. Elizabeth said nothing but thought John was making up for lost time and that the rift between Beth and John would soon be healed. - * - * - * - Their friends' state that Beth and Martin give the term "happily married" a new meaning and were definitely made for each other. Beth just smiles thinking that she was definitely made for Martin by Martin and wouldn't have it any other way.
