Mark had grown a little tired of battle. For the past four weeks he had
piloted a Transforming Star Droid in the campaigns around the Animetic
Asteroid Belt. The Magic Anime Network always had villains attempting to
take over the solar system and there was always a need for heroes to
rise to the occasion and protect the planets.
But you can only go through so many battles before things feel the same-
old same-old. He needed a break.
He flew his Star Droid in Flight formation to the opposite end of the
solar system. Easy enough to do at Sub-Hyper Speeds.
He homed in on a pretty blue green world. Definately habitable. He
pulled up the Magic Anime Network map on his moniter. He was around
World Two. Sometimes referred to as Planet Nekomimi. He wondered what
that meant, this wasn't a destination he went for with his chosen flavor
of Anime.
He guided his craft down through the atmosphere and saw jungles and
rivers below. It looked like it lacked a lot of civilization. He glanced
at the map and noticed that there were cities and modernation, just not
where he was cruising.
He set down on a plateau overlooking a lush green valley. He needed to
stretch his legs anyway, so why not where the view was interesting?
The air that filled his cockpit as his seat lowered to the ground was
heavy. There were many aromatic plants in this jungle. He stepped off
the pilot seat module and stretched. Sounds of birds, bees and many
animals delighted his ears. He leaned against his Star Droid and basked
in the warm rays from the sun.
The trees were quite strange. A few of them grabbed his attention
because of the strange branch and leaf formations. He examined one
closer. On a few branches low down he found the branch would curve back
in on itself. It didn't close into a circle, and had two furry leaves
sprouting on either side of the bend. He touched one and it snapped off
in his hand.
The snapped off branch was actually rather flat. He turned it in his
hands and his eyes widened. The leaves looked like ears. He laughed at
that. How silly. He pulled the branch over his head like a head band and
went back to his ship to get a picture of himself. It'd make a hilarious
desktop picture after logging off the Network.
He pulled his cockpit camera towards him but stopped when he saw his
message light flickering.
Star Droids were requested not far from him. The battle must have
spread. He had a request from Admiral Chi himself to come back from his
vacation and help with the main forces.
Mark sighed, A soldier's work was never done.
Within minutes Mark was blasting out of the atmosphere and towards
battle.
Mark felt supremely confident for some reason. He was tracking and
destroying more enemies per minute than ever before. He felt as though
every blip on his screen had his individual attention. Before long the
Battle Cruiser he was lending support to was cleared of the immediate
threats.
Unfortunately the enemy Battle Dreadnaught was a Super Weapon. It
started to twist in space. Splitting into limbs and a head. The final
appearance which was much like an intense ultimate fighter.
Mark flew in formation with Zeta Group. Zeta Group was one Star Droid
short of a Super Droid Transformation. Mark happily transformed and
merged with their group. In short order they were wailing on the Super
Weapon with all they had. The inevitable final sword slash atomizing the
enemy into Stardust.
Mark felt so triumphant, he mewed loudly into his headset.
Uh oh
Now that the battle was over, Mark looked down at his body. It was
completely different. His uniform was still form fitting, but now it had
much more to fit. He had a large bosum now, and checking underneath his
suit he discovered that that bosum had a light fur coating. His hands
could flex a deadly set of claws. His hips were much wider than before
and he could feel a tail swishing around in a narrow tube under his
seat.
His monitor activated and the four members of Zeta Group showed up in a
gridded out screen with one other person. A cat girl with pretty brown
fur and yellow eyes. She looked just as surprised as Mark did. Because
Mark realized that she was the cat girl.
"Way to go team!" Captain Canary said to everyone. He was at the main
controls of the Super Droid. "And thank you for your help especially
Captain Kitten, your timely arrival helped us when we needed help the
most."
Mark blushed under the compliment, feeling her throat purr
automatically.
"Hey!" Yelled Captain Yemdale, "Why don't you become a permanent member
of Zeta Group? You're good in battle. We could use you."
"and you're not so bad on the eyes either..." came a very softly voiced
opinion from Captain Orga said while grinning mischievously.

So Captain Murr Kitten became a legend working with Zeta Group Star
Droid Squadron. She found that her personal history was now tied to
Nekomimi. It didn't take long to start liking the perks of being a cat
girl. She was smaller, but stronger and faster as well as flexible like
a...well a cat. She liked being female too, there was real bonuses at
being a able to wrap most men and even many women around her claws.
