My name is Jimmy Beck have been looking forward to this weekend for
sometime now. My mom Mrs. Julie, is going away for a doctor's convention
and will be leaving for the weekend. Being 13 years old, my mom has
arranged for me to spend the night at her long time friend and neighbor,
Alice Pepper, who I call Aunt Alice. Aunt Alice has a daughter Anne, who
is the same age as me.
I was just about finished packing my overnight bag and started looking
for my favorite pullover sweater. "Mom, I can't find my favorite
sweater, have you seen it?" I yelled to my mom.

I walked into the kitchen and noticed mom folding laundry. "I'll give
you a hand folding," I said and started picking something out of the
basket to fold.
But before I could start to pull something out, mom said, "I was just
talking to Aunt Alice and she tells me that Anne is in very poor
spirits, why don't you go on over and see if you can cheer her up."
"Well, I do need to pack an extra pair of underwear and socks," Jimmy
exclaimed as he started sifting thru the laundry basket.
"Don't worry about that, I can finish your packing; after all, I am your
mother."
"Well, okay." And with that Jimmy headed out to see Anne.
As Jimmy stepped outside he wished he had his sweater for the air had a
deep chill. Luckily there was only a two archer field that separated
Jimmy's and Anne's home. As Jimmy walked in the crisp autumn air he was
wondering what was bothering Anne, and he hoped it would not dampen his
weekend. After all, he has been looking forward to this weekend for some
time. Not because there was anything special planned, but simply because
it has been some time since he and Anne had a sleep over and missed the
late night talks.
As Jimmy was wondering whether or not this was going to end up being a
bum weekend, he was startled when he heard, "Hey Jimmy!"
He looked across the street and there was Scott, with his twin brother
Dan raking leaves. "You want to give us a hand tomorrow setting up the
props for Mrs. Alice's ice skating show?" inquired Scott. Scott was one
year older than Jimmy and very athletic. He was quite and well liked,
which is just the opposite of his crummy brother Dan. Who was obnoxious
and had a loud mouth. In school they were commonly known as the twins.
There are many times when I find myself day dreaming about Scott and I'm
just starting to realized that I may actually have a crush on him. As
for Dan, he treats me like a younger brother, where as he can tease and
beat me all he wants, but he better not catch anyone else doing it.
There has been quite a few times where he has stuck up for me on several
narrow escapes with fights.
Before Jimmy could answer back to Scott, Dan quipped back, "What the
heck is lame-boy going to do, he's nothing but a 52 pound weakling!"
"Yea, I'll be there to help out and supervise," I said with a smirk.
Scott gave a laugh but Dan tossed down the rake and started running
towards me. Luckily I was able to dash into Anne's home before Dan could
catch me. I frantically locked the door as Dan tried to open it. Upon
seeing that I had beaten him, his expression went to anger and yelled,
"I'll beat your sissy but some day for this," and walked off in a huff.
In a not to be overhead voice I commented back, "Yea right, jack off."
Behind me came a snicker from Aunt Alice and a "I don't think he heard
you Jimmy." Slightly embarrassed I replied sheepishly, "Yea I know."
"Where's your mom?" asked Aunt Alice and she looked over at our home to
see if she was trailing behind me.
"I came over early to see if I could cheer up Anne, I hear she is bummed
out about something."
Placing a hand on Jimmy's back Aunt Alice commented, "Oh, how sweet, I
think she's up in her room." Once again, as Jimmy made his way to Anne's
room, he was hoping this weekend would not be ruined and prayed this
would be a simple cheer up session and not have Anne pouting all
weekend.
Jimmy lightly knocked on the door and entered Anne's room. Oh boy, by
the looks of her face this is not going to be a quick cheer up session.
Before Jimmy could say a word, "Life sucks!" mumbled Anne.
Jimmy inquired what happened and Anne took a deep sigh and said, "Well,
as you know tomorrow is the big show for the Ice Pageant. We have been
training for this for over a year and we have the performance down to a
science. Well, you know, you've help us out and you saw all the work we
put in."
"Yea, but I still don't see what the matter is," Jimmy commented.
"What the matter is, Kate-Lynn's dad got a job in Texas and they are
moving away today!" With that tears started rolling out of Anne's eyes,
which made Jimmy's heart sink very low. To get Anne's attention from
crying, he asked, "Why is it a big deal if Kate-Lynn is not able to
perform, there are seven girls left, right, or is there more to this?"
"No, there are seven of us, but to qualify for the finals there must be
eight performers and Kate-Lynn is the only one of us who can do the
backwards double flip. Even if we get an outstanding during tomorrows
pageant, we will not qualify to perform with the Rockets down in
Rockefeller Center this Thanksgiving!"
Just as Anne got out the word Thanksgiving the tears really started to
flow, and all Jimmy could say was, "Gosh, wish there was something I
cold do to help.
After a few minutes Anne got back to a point where she could talk.
"Well, I did think of something and mom believes it would work, but
there is just no way it would happen," sniffed Anne. "And besides, I
don't want to wreck this weekend for you or your surprise."
Jimmy's expression gave a confused look. "What surprise?" asked Jimmy.
Realizing she spilled the beans Anne continued, "Well, the cat's out of
the bag now, I was going to wait until tomorrow night to tell you, but,
for a belated birthday present, I got tickets to see the Ice Follies."
Jimmy suddenly got excited. "How did you manage that, the show was sold
out months ago?"
A smile came across Anne. "Well, let's say I traded in my other tickets
for these."
Jimmy stood there shocked for a moment and couldn't believe what he just
heard. "You mean to tell me you traded in your three tickets for that
Magician show for the Ice Follies?" Jimmy asked in amazement.
With that Anne got up off the bed and placed her hand on Jimmy's arm.
"Jimmy, you have always been so nice to me, and I wanted to get you
something really special for your 13th birthday, sorry it is a little
late, but I just got the 5 tickets yesterday."
"Five tickets?" Jimmy asked and was once again confused, "but you only
had three."
"Well, that's the deal I struck, three Magic tickets for five Ice
Follies tickets, I figured we can bring the twins and since we need a
ride I've asked mom to come along."
"Wow, this is such a surprise and great present too!" Jimmy said with
anticipation.
Then suddenly he felt horrible, for just moments ago he was being
selfish and was hoping his weekend would not be spoiled because of Anne,
and now this, her gift that was so unselfish of her to give. Anne saw
the mood change on Jimmy and asked, "What's the matter Jimmy?"
"Well, what about your dream of performing with the Rockets, it's not
going to happen, is there something you or Aunt Alice can do?"
Anne stared into Jimmy's eyes for a moment and slowly began to shake her
head, "There is one chance, but I don't think it would be right."
Grasping at any opportunity to make Anne happy Jimmy asked, "Well tell
me, what is the other plan?"
Anne started walking to the other side of the room and was repeatedly
saying, "No, it just would not be fair to ask."
"Ask what, tell me, please tell me," Jimmy said anxiously.
"Well, all right, but you got to promise not to be mad and I will
understand if you say no." For a moment there was dead silence in the
room as Anne and Jimmy stood there looking at one another. Anne broke
the silence with, "I was thinking that maybe you could stand in for
Kate-Lynn, after all, you can do the backwards double flip better than
anyone we know and-"
But before Anne could finish, Jimmy interrupted with, "Sure, I will be
happy to do this, but will it be okay with me being a boy and all. After
all, isn't this pageant for girls only?"
Anne looked to the floor. "Yea, that's the catch, you would have to
really go in Kate-Lynn's place, user her name and pass yourself off as a
girl."
With that Jimmy sat on the bed and hundreds of thoughts ran thru his
mind. He has always secretly wanted to dress up as a girl for he is just
starting to realized that he actually believe he should have been a
girl. This was the perfect opportunity, but he could not come across as
too eager and then said aloud, "I know this Ice Pageant means a lot to
you and Aunt Alice, I'll do it."
"What! You will! Are you really sure?" Anne asked excitedly.
Taking a deep breath, Jimmy once again committed himself, "Yea, I'll be
happy to do it for you and Aunt Alice."
Anne gave Jimmy a big hug and then ran out the door and down the stairs
yelling, "Mom, mom, Jimmy has agreed to do it!"
As Jimmy went downstairs and entered the kitchen he saw all three woman
smiling back at him, Anne, Aunt Alice and his mom. For a quick moment he
was a little nervous on what his mom was thinking.
However Aunt Alice asked, "Are you sure about this Jimmy?"
"Yea, I'm sure, the two of you been so nice to me over the years and
always been there for me, so this is one way I hope to pay you back,"
Jimmy said with somewhat of a shaky voice.
Jimmy's mom came around the table and gave him a long hug and softly
said, "I'm proud of you honey, your going to do well, I want you to have
fun doing this, I only wish I could be there."
Anne quickly pointed out, "There will be plenty of pictures taken."
A taxicab started honking its horn which gave the signal it was time for
Mrs. Julie to leave and in a hurry. Good-bye kisses and hugs were
exchanged outside and within a hurried minute Jimmy's mom was off to the
airport. It was at that moment Jimmy saw the twins and said, "Oh ohh,
the twins are going to be there tomorrow, Dan is going to kill me."
"Don't worry about Danny, I know something which will keep him under
control, if he still wants to be my boyfriend, he'll keep his mouth
shut," Anne said with confidence. "Okay, kids, it's getting late why
don't we go out for Pizza tonight." Both Jimmy and Anne eagerly
approved.
They got back from Pizza Hut somewhat late and upon entering the home
Anne mentioned she was going to change for bedtime. Jimmy commented that
he was going to do that as well, but was going to take a shower for he
and his clothing were dirty from cleaning out the garage earlier that
day. Then suddenly something occurred to Jimmy, "Aunt Alice, did you see
where mom put my overnight bag?"
"I didn't see her bring any bags into the house, as you recall her
luggage was out at the curb waiting for the taxicab," Mrs. Alice said
with confidence. After the three of them looked about for several
minutes they concluded that Mrs. Julie did not bring over the bag.
"Just go on over to your home and get the bag," Anne said.
Jimmy stopped and with a little bit of panic in his voice, "That's the
problem, I can't. When I was packing my bag, I put my house keys in the
bag. Mom was going to place a few more items in the bag for me and bring
it over on account I wanted to come over here and cheer you up."
At the same time both Mrs. Alice and Anne said, "Aww, how sweet."
"Well, go take your shower, Anne and I will figure out something," said
Mrs. Alice as she headed upstairs. As Jimmy entered the bathroom to turn
on the shower, Mrs. Alice was in the bathroom placing a razor and a jar
of cream by the sink and said, "Use this Jimmy to shave your legs, pits
and if you have any hair on your chest shave that too."
As she walked out, she gave Jimmy a kiss on his forehead and closed the
door. After shaving and taking the shower, he wrapped a towel around
himself and walked into the guest room. On the bed he saw what he
recognized as one of Anne's long length purple flannelled nightgowns. As
he picked up the nightgown, a pair of purple satin panties fell to the
floor. Jimmy stared at the panties his heart began to race with some
combined excitement and nervousness. My God, this is really happening,
he thought and was suddenly startled by Anne who was standing at the
open doorway. As he looked at Anne, he noticed a smile on her face; she
began to shut the door to give him some privacy and said with an
understanding voice, "Go ahead Jimmy, put them on. Mom and I will be
waiting downstairs."
As Jimmy slipped on the silky panties goose bumps rose on his legs from
the soft and cool feeling they had as they slid across his freshly
shaven legs. Then, as he slipped on the long length nightgown small
shivers ran thru him as the gown slipped over his body. This was all
feeling good and in some way, natural for Jimmy.
Finished getting dressed and before heading downstairs Jimmy started the
laundry so his clothing would be clean for tomorrow. He just needed to
remember to put his clothes in the dryer before he went to bed.
With some hesitation he slowly walked down to the family room where the
girls were waiting. Aunt Alice was brushing Anne's hair. As he entered
the room Anne said, "It looks good on you. Does it fit well?"
"Thanks, actually it's comfortable," Jimmy responded.
"Good, as I thought we are about the same size," Anne said smiling.
"Well you two, I'm off to bed now. Don't stay up to much later for
tomorrow we have a long day," said Mrs. Alice as she gave both Jimmy and
Anne a kiss goodnight. Then just as she was leaving the room she turned
and said, "Jimmy, thanks for doing this special favor for Anne and I. I
know this weekend may become a little awkward for you, but at the same
time I hope you enjoy it too."
Jimmy just gave a smile back but was wondering what she meant by the
last part. She possibly couldn't know his dreams of dressing up in girl
clothing and passing for a girl, or could she?
After getting a few snacks and sodas, Anne and Jimmy went upstairs to
Anne's room to watch MTV and chat. After settling in some, Anne picked
thru one of her drawers and pulled out a small bottle of deep red nail
polish and handed it to Jimmy saying, "Do you mind putting this on for
me, you do such a good job?"
Jimmy reached for the nail polish and said, "Sure thing Anne." Over the
years Jimmy actually got very good at putting nail polish and makeup on
Anne and even doing up her hair. While applying the nail polish, Anne
asked in a low, serious tone, "Jimmy, how do you like wearing my panties
and nightgown?"
Jimmy was a little nervous with the line of questioning. He was actually
quite comfortable wearing Anne's stuff, particularly the panties. In
fact, he preferred it over his own underwear and pajamas, but he could
not let out his secret, even with Anne. "The nightgown is comfortable
but the panties are a little sung," Jimmy responded.
"Oh, okay," Anne said with a little disappointment in her voice, which
Jimmy noticed.
Giving her a quizzical look, "Why do you sound disappointed Anne?"
Anne was hesitant in answering at first and it was obvious to Jimmy that
she wanted to say something. "Well, I don't want you getting mad at me
and I'm afraid it will hurt your feelings if what I'm thinking isn't
true," Anne stammered.
With a coaxing voice Jimmy said, "Common on Anne, we've known each other
for too long for that to happen. I know you would never intentionally
want to hurt me, just as you know I would never want to hurt you, so
please, tell me what it is."
Anne gave Jimmy's words some thought and knew he was right. But this is
a hunch and he may not take it to well. Not to mention the fact he's
about to do her a big favor and she doesn't want to mess things up.
"Common on Anne, it can't be that bad, tell me," Jimmy persisted.
"Well, I'm not sure how to even say it," Anne said with a concerning
voice.
"Just get it out, tell me, I won't get mad, you should know that, so out
with it!" responded Jimmy.
With some hesitation Anne started to tell, "Well, okay, you're the best
friend I have. There are many times when we are talking I forget that
your even a guy, because you're just not like the rest of them. And I'm
not the only one who feels this way either. As I like to think, you're
much more in tune with your feminine side and I think you even realize.
I mean, you do a better job in shopping for clothes than I do. I have
you to thank for being known as one of the girls who is in with fashion.
Yea you're my best friend, but, umm, I, um, think of you as my girl
friend."
Jimmy just sat there, mouth shut, eyes wide, one side of him wanted to
let it all out. While the other side was locking all the doors as tight
as they could be. My God, she knows! Jimmy thought, and he started to
panic a little but at the same time, there was some relief too. He
started to focus on the relief feelings he was having and realized he
felt as thought a ton of bricks were just off loaded and he had nothing
to worry about with Anne, but wasn't sure what to say next.
Anne, not knowing what Jimmy was thinking, continued with, "I have
always considered you more as a girl friend than a boy friend, you know,
on the good side, not on the stupid boy side. And... and, your so good
with girl things like putting makeup on me, doing my hair, cleaning,
your always concerned with how your clothing looks on you and your
complexion. I just thought that you would, well, you know, like wearing
girls clothing too."
