As they approached the ice rink, Jimmy started recognizing many of the
girls from the ice-staking team who were already out on the ice
practicing. The flutter, of Butterflies soon began in his stomach, but
not as bad as the other two times. It was obvious however that Anne
was getting excited and with excitement in her voice she turned to
Jimmy and whispered rapidly some last minute wisdom comments, much like
a coach does as the team is running out onto the field. "Don't worry
Jimmy, they all know and every one of them is grateful you are helping
us out. I will warn you though, most of them are going to quickly
forget that you are a boy and you will be treated just like one of the
girls. I know you don't like close contact, but as you will see, girls
have no trouble touching and hugging one another. A Girl's personal
space is much smaller than a guys. This is something your going to
have to get use to real quick. You will probably hear us say things
you never heard a girl say, but don't get embarrassed or mad, just join
in and have fun. Anne, stopped for a moment, but Jimmy still focused
on what things girls say that he has never heard and couldn't help but
ask, "What will they say that I've never heard before?" Anne gave a
quick smile, "You'll see, just be yourself, have fun and be the girl
like you have been all morning."
And with that comment, Anne yelled out onto the ice and said, "Hey,
look who I found wondering the mall," pointing to Jimmy/Kate-Lynn.
This caused everyone on the ice to look in their direction. However,
the girls who were apart of the Mrs. Alice's skating team all
understood the comment and with various yelps and salutations they all
skated to the doors to exit the ice and greet the new Kate-Lynn. Anne
was right, the team sure was close and touchy but Jimmy didn't mind it
and within a few moments, the fluttering in his stomach vanished. All
the girls were excited to see Kate-Lynn and they had many questions and
comments. Jimmy did his best to answer all the questions and
acknowledge all the compliments. After a few minutes of much excited
talk Jimmy, more than ever felt he was finally accepted as who he truly
was and became emotionally happy and could not stop a few tears from
flowing. Becky, who is a close friend to Jimmy noticed the tears and
got everyone's attention when she asked, "What's the matter Jimmy, why
you crying?" Jimmy, was slightly embarrassed, but he did not care for
he knew with this group he did not have to hide his emotions, like he
had to when he was with the boys and he began to say with choked
emotion, "Oh, Becky, I was so nervous how you all would react to me
like this and I'm just happy that, that, I, um." Becky could see he
wasn't sure if he could say it, and was confident on what he was going
to say, so she finished Jimmy's sentence for him, with a soft and
understanding voice, "That your one of the girls." Jimmy simply looked
up and saw all the eyes focused him, waiting intently on what his
response would be, which caused him to tear more. He then began to
shake his head up and down in acknowledgement and noticed as he did so,
all the girls got big smiles on their faces. Jimmy is not sure who
said it first, but someone said, "your one of us girls now Jimmy." "Not
Jimmy, it's Kate-Lynn!" Someone corrected. This caused a wave of
hugging, and some additional eyes to flow with tears and more comments
on how good Kate-Lynn looked.
However, all this commotion was quickly put to rest by, "Hey girls,
didn't you hear Mrs. Alice call you all?" Dan yelled some distance
away and pointing towards the girls locker room where Mrs. Alice was
standing and waving for them to come over. Becky grabbed Kate-Lynn's
hand and pulled him with her as they went over to Mrs. Alice. While
walking and not knowing about the lunch encounter, "Don't look now
Kate-Lynn but I think Scotty is checking you out something serious."
"He's obviously checking out your cute legs." Giggled Samantha. "Or
your ass." Becky chimed in. This of course caused a round of playful
chuckles but to his own surprise the attention didn't phase him in the
least. He was however getting the idea on what Anne meant when she
said he would hear girls say things he never heard them say before.
As they approached, Mrs. Alice simply said, "Okay, okay, girls, quite
down. We can't miss a moment, so I want you all to go in and get
dressed and ready. Your new outfits are hanging on the lockers and are
in squad number order. I want you all back out here in 35 minutes."
Jimmy could tell from the girls reaction this was not much time and
they all quickly started running into the locker room. Jimmy was
starting to go with them but then stopped, for he was in a quandary of
what to do. After all, he was a boy. He couldn't go into the girls
locker room. However, he was quickly snapped out of his quandary as he
heard Aunt Alice say, "Kate-Lynn, what are you waiting for, oh, that's
right, you don't know your squad number. Your number 27, but I put
your outfit with Anne so she can give you a hand if you need it, and
I'll be in there in about 10 minutes to make some adjustment."
With that, Jimmy pushed himself against the door and crossed the
threshold of the unknown. He was thinking to himself with some
confusion, "Some adjustments, what is that mean?" As he rounded the
corner, he was looking for Ann, but came to a stop. For he was
surprised on how intertwined all the girls were and even more so on how
far some of them were already into the different stages of dress and
noticed the chatter was getting louder and louder. He then saw Becky
looking at him and noticed she was smiling at him and was pointing and
she also nodded her head and said, "you better hurry up." As he
followed her pointing finger he then spotted Anne, who already had her
outfit on and was placing her hair in a bun at the top of her head. As
he approached Anne, she saw him and as she pointed to the only hanging
outfit, she simply said, "Your gonna need to hurry up Kate, put that on
and I'll help with your hair in a sec."
Jimmy started taking the plastic bag off from the outfit and as he was
taking it off the hanger he realized it was definitely a different
design than the old one. At the shoulders you could tell it was a body
suit which was skin toned, however it was designed in such a way that
it appeared to have black spaghetti straps and then there were deep red
beads making up what gave the appearance of a flapper outfit worn in
the roaring 20s. but at the hem the beads were black and there were
even deep red and black beads making up lots of tassels around the hem,
which jiggled and jangled about. Jimmy couldn't wait to get it on.
But before he could slip it on, Anne handed him a pair of skin toned
tights and whispered with a smile, "Put these on first." He quickly
obliged and in a few moments the tights were donned and in the
background he heard Samantha say, "Wow Jimm... uh, Kate-Lynn, you put
those on like you've been doing it for a long time." This suddenly
caused a tight feeling in his stomach, but was quickly releases as he
looked at the crowd of girls looking at him with smiling and chants of,
"You go girl." Jimmy was all smiles now and even more eager to put on
the skating outfit. In other few moments he was wiggling his way into
the outfit and as it slid down he was surprised that it only went down
to his upper thigh. He could feel all the tassels dancing about his
thigh, the outfit was snug and it made his skin tingle with
electricity. As he was looking about his body, he couldn't get over
that the girly body he was looking at was his, but noticed the top of
the outfit was sagging in several areas and he tried adjusting it, but
as he did so, he suddenly heard Aunt Alice, "Okay hon, time to make the
adjustments which will fix that, come." He followed and into a little
room they went, with Anne coming in as well. Aunt Alice, helped Jimmy
slip his arms out and slide the top of the outfit off his shoulders and
then she sprayed his chest with something and said, "Don't touch." She
then turned around and began fidgeting with something with Anne's help.
Anne then came over with a big smile and quietly said, "Your going to
like this and so wont.." But before she could finish, Aunt Alice pushed
here way past Anne at which time Jimmy felt something cold, wet and
sticky pushed against his chest and as he looked on, he noticed in her
hands were two, flesh colored, jelly looking things. "Don't move!"
Both Aunt Alice and Anne said and a few seconds latter, Aunt Alice
slowly removed her hands revealing, two breasts and he began to feel
them pull down as his skin accepted the new weightily appendages. He
just stared down and let out a quite, "Wooowww," punctuated with a look
of wonderment. At which time Aunt Alice and Anne started pulling the
outfit back on. As they finished, he was once again looking down at
this girly body, complete with little perky breasts which removed the
sags and wrinkles from the outfit and filled it out well. Perhaps a
bit too well. He really liked the look and now knew that Anne was
going to say that Scott was going to like this too. Jimmy was snapped
out of his trance when he heard Aunt Alice ask, "Well, what do you
think?" "Yea, Kate, do you like them?" Jimmy, caught up in his
emotions, gleefully responded with, "I sure do!" while reaching out
with wide open arms which initiated a group hug. After a moment, Aunt
Alice broke the hug, "Kate, I want you to have fun this weekend, so if
you want, you can keep them on all weekend and please don't hold in
your thoughts or emotions, you can talk to us about anything." There
was a moment of silence as they all stood smiling and then Aunt Alice
started towards the door and said, "Anne, help your sister with her
hair while I see how the others are doing." This caused both Jimmy
and Anne to giggle and in short order, Anne was busily putting Jimmy's
hair in a bun at the top of his head and topped it off with a little,
red and black beaded pillbox hat, much like you see the bell hops
wearing in the old time movies. It was at that point that Jimmy saw
his reflection in a full length mirror, but the reflections showed only
two girls, full of smiles and enjoying the moment.
As they left the room, Aunt Alice had all the girls in a group giving
last minute guidance but was interrupted when someone said in a
bewildered voice, "Wooow, look at Jimm, Kate-Lynn.." This caused
everyone's eyes to lock onto Jimmy and it was sporadically followed
with ohh's and ahhs and wow's, which was broken by Becky stepping out,
giving Jimmy a big hug and whispered in his ear, "Welcome to sisterhood
Kate-Lynn I'm glad to finally meet the person I always thought as my
sister." Jimmy could hardly believe what he was hearing, but it left a
warm feeling and realized he was about to cry but was able to control
it. That is until Becky pulled back and Jimmy noticed Becky had a big
smile and was wiping away tears and this immediately caused tears to
flow from Jimmy's eyes, which he wiped away quickly on this sleeves.
All the girls started chatting away, which was brought under control as
Aunt Alice, started clapping her hands, "Okay girls, move out on the
ice, get some practice in and be back in here in 30 minutes."
After the 30 minute skating session all the girls, including Jimmy
started walking off the ice but he suddenly felt a nudge on his side
and was surprised to see Scott there. Instantly, Jimmy felt a warm
fuzzy feeling and once again felt the hair on the back of his neck
standing on end. With a slight touch of Scott's hand on Jimmy side,
Scott guided Jimmy off to the side. Nobody seemed to take note and
Scott stopped and obviously wanted to say something as he stammered
about, nervously clearing his throat and with a crackly voice, "You,
you, lllook, different like this Jimmy, I, I , mean, with your hair
changed, there is something with your eyes, and, and, the earrings and,
and..." Scott was at a loss of words as he looked at Jimmy's breasts
and then cleared his throat again, Scott then looked into Jimmy's eyes
and with a nervous smile he softly said, "I think your beautiful and
I'm glad your like this, and um, I feel like I've know you as Katie our
whole lives. And Uhh, I was, uhh, wondering if we, um that is, Katie
and I could have some pizza and maybe a movie later tonight?" Jimmy
was surprised by all this and yet ecstatic and started nodding as he
thought, Scott called me beautiful and did he just ask me out on a
date? Jimmy was all smiles and googely eyed and responded softly with
a dreamy, "Yes." This gave Scott a smile from ear to ear and he
started looking from side to side as if looking for someone and started
saying, "Well, Katie, I need to get back to helping Dan and I probably
wont get a chance to see you until after the performance, I, I just
want to say good luck and, and," but before Scott could finish his
sentence and while Jimmy was waiting with anticipation of what Scott
was going to say, Scott quickly leaned in and gave Jimmy a kiss on the
cheek and quickly pulled away and hurried off with the departing line
of, "Your going to do great Katie and I'll see ya after the show!"
Jimmy was shocked by this, the hairs on the back of his neck were
standing on end and there were waves of goose bumps surging throughout
the entire length of his body. While Jimmy watched Scott walking back
stage, he simply stood there dumfounded and was still wondering was he
just asked to go out on his first date and did Scott really just kiss
me? As the euphoria ebbed, Jimmy started becoming ware of his
surroundings and it was then that he noticed both Becky and Anne were
watching and he wondered if they saw what had just transpired. But he
knew within a moment by the look on their faces that they certainly
had. For etched on both Becky's and Anne's faces where knowing,
Chestier cat grins. A sure sign that they indeed witnessed the kiss.
Jimmy could feel his checks blush and all he could do was silently walk
towards them and try to hide his smile. But the harder he tried, his
smile grew, which caused the Chestier cat grins on Becky and Anne to
grow even more. The two girls, in a stealthy style came towards Jimmy
and as they got to within arms reach, Becky asked in a low tone,
"Well?" "Well what?" Jimmy responded. With that, Anne grabbed one of
Jimmy's arms with both her hands and said, "Come on! Tell us! How was
your first peck on the cheek and what were the two of you talking about
for so long?" Jimmy was surprised by the comment of, long, and was
quick to respond with, "Long? What do you mean long? We were together
for only a few seconds!" Beck stood erect with a scowled faced and as
she crossed her arms she quipped back, "Commmonnn Jimmy, tell us! What
did he say to you? We saw him give you a kiss. He must have said
something interesting." To his surprise, that euphoric feeling was
creeping back, causing goose bumps to rise and fall along his spine.
Jimmy didn't understand why, but he couldn't contain himself and before
he knew it the words rolled out of his mouth, "I think he just asked me
out on a date." This caused Becky's eyes to pop out of her sockets and
Anne's hands to grip tighter on his arm, "What did he say?" Anne asked
rapidly. Jimmy took a moment to gather his thoughts but before he
could Ann started to shake his arm and exclaimed, "Come onnn, Kate,
tell us!" This caused Jimmy to let it out, "Well, he said that he
liked me like this. You know, dressed as a girl and all and being
Kate-Lynn. He then asked if I'd go for pizza and a movie after the
show and then, before I knew what happened, he gave me a kiss on the
cheek and ran off." "Just like his brother." Anne commented in a sour
tone and continued with, "They get a quick kiss in and run off."
Becky, looking at Anne, followed up with, "Well, in my book, a pizza
and a movie equals a date, right?" Anne nodded towards Becky and
said, "Sure does." at which time Anne's turned to Jimmy and said,
"Well, this was planned, Dan asked me the same thing just after lunch,
so the twins planned this the whole time. Now that I think about it, I
knew there was something else and wondered why Dan was acting
strangely, but now it makes sense. Scott put him up to asking. So,
sis. It looks like we got a double date tonight." Anne's eyes were
twinkling and she sported a smile from ear to ear. Becky, who also had
a smile from ear to ear gave Jimmy a friendly jab and as she headed
away and commented, "Well, ya got your first date and a kiss, your
definitely in the club now!"
As both Anne and Jimmy watched Becky go into the locker room, with a
concerning tone, Anne asked, "You okay, Jimmy? Jimmy simply nodded,
stared into Anne's eyes, "I feel different. My heart is still beating
fast and I can't believe all this just happened. I mean, in one moment
I feel as thought this is how it should be and it is how it's always
been, I feel really happy. But at the same time, I remember I'm a boy,
not a girl and it just seems wrong, which depresses me" Jimmy continued
to say, "A date, my first date with Scott. All the times we have gone
out together for a pizza and movie it was just that. But now we are
doing the same thing, but I'm going as Kate-Lynn and now it's a date.
I'm so excited, but scared." "Scared? Why?" Anne asked. Jimmy took a
moment and then replied, "Well, what will people think and what will
our mom's say?" Anne wrapped her arm around Jimmy's arm and as they
slowly headed to the locker room, Anne reassured Jimmy with, "Kate, as
I said last night many people have always considered you as a girl in
guy clothes. For most of the time you have always exhibited a girls
attitude, in your walk, talk, thoughts and just about everything you do
the girl in you shows up. Now that you're dressing as girl, your ears
pierced, hair made up and with a little makeup, well, now the cover
matches the book. Yea, I'm sure there will be a few people who will
give you a hard time, but not many, in fact, I'd say that if you did
this full time, you'd get less trouble than what you already get."
Jimmy, was taking all of this in and simply responded by, "Yea, but,
it's odd." And just as they reached the locker room door, Jimmy stopped
and with some concern in his voice he asked again, "What will our moms
think?" Anne, simply smiled, "Sis, remember what both of our mom's
said, "have fun with this." Remember your mom saying that just before
she left?" It took a moment, but Jimmy did recall the two instances
that both moms said this and he again questioned, "But going out on a
date and getting a kiss?" Anne tilted her head and placed her hand on
his back and with a soothing voice, "Sis. They want you to experience
these things. They want you to have a chance to let your true feelings
and self being come out, to be who you really are, the chance to
experience things as they aught to be and to let your dress as you like
and do as you like." Jimmy, gave a warm smile to Anne and gave her a
big hug, "Thanks sis. I can't wait until tonight when we go out on a
double date with the twins." "Me too, sis, me too, it's something I
wished for many times." Anne whispered back.
