Chapter 1
Alyssa Strasburg poured herself another drink as she glanced at the
clock. It was just a few minutes before midnight. She nervously took a
sip of brandy as she counted down the minutes.
She sat alone as she waited for the new day to begin. The silence was
shattered by the chiming of the antique grandfather's clock in the
hallway.
Alyssa held her breath as she counted the chimes. Maybe he wasn't
coming she hoped.
Following the last chime the house fell silent and for a moment
Alyssa's wish was granted.
She waited for another ten minutes before standing up. For a moment she
was about to let out a sigh of relief, but then there was a puff of
smoke and he appeared.
"Good morning Alyssa," he greeted in a refined upper-class accent.
"It's been nearly twenty years since we last talked, have you missed
me?"
Alyssa frowned as she put her glass down on the table.
"Hello Xavier," she replied.
From out of the shadows a distinguished looking man appeared. He
appeared to be in his mid-forties and looked to be very athletic. His
jet black hair was long, but styled neat. He also had a moustache and
goatee.
Xavier was dressed in what looked to be a very expensive tailored suit.
"I'm pleased you remembered me," he said as he bowed.
"Dressed to the nines as usual," she commented.
"Thank you," he replied as he adjusted his tie. "I'm so pleased you
noticed."
He walked over and sat down on the couch.
"You still look lovely my dear," he remarked.
Alyssa crossed her arms and stared back. Like all women in her family
she was very attractive and appeared to have defied aging. She had a
shapely body and long lovely brunette hair.
"So where is she?" he asked.
Alyssa stared back and slowly debated her next words.
Xavier sighed. "Your daughter, where is she? Today is Lucy's eighteenth
birthday correct?"
Alyssa nodded. "That is correct...today would have been her eighteenth
birthday."
A look of confusion appeared on Xavier's face.
"So you don't know everything," she replied.
"What do you mean?" he demanded.
"Eighteen years ago as you obvious know, I gave birth to twins, a girl
named Lucy and a boy named Corey," she explained. "When Lucy was five
we were driving her to a dance lesson...a truck ran a stop sign and
struck my car. Lucy was killed as was my husband...and I was severely
injured...I was unable to have additional children."
Xavier glared back at her.
"Your family made a deal with me," he stated coldly.
Alyssa nodded. "Yes as I am well aware...I served you for three long
years...as did my mother, and her mother..."
"I demand my payment," he growled as he interrupted her.
Alyssa wasn't sure, but she though she saw his eyes turn bright red for
a moment.
"There's nothing I can do, my husband is dead...my daughter is dead...I
still feel the pain of their loss. What else do you want?"
Xavier stood up quickly. "We have a deal...and I have kept my end of
the bargain...going back to 1300."
"What do you want from me? My daughter is dead...and the man who did it
is also dead."
Xavier walked over and looked out the living room window.
"The deal was made...at age eighteen the oldest daughter of the oldest
daughter is mine until she turns twenty-one...in exchange I have
granted the women of your family beauty," he stated.
Alyssa knew better than to argue this point. She had seen the contract,
signed by a foolish and egotistical woman over seven hundred years ago.
In exchange for physical beauty she had cursed her descendants with
having to service a demon.
"I kept my word," he stated again.
"It's not my fault," replied Alyssa softly.
He turned and ran his eyes over her. He then placed his hand on her
abdomen.
"You are telling the truth," he stated as his anger lessened. "I'm so
sorry for your loss."
She pulled back.
"So you might as well leave...I don't have a daughter and I cannot get
pregnant ever again," she stated.
"Don't be so sure...I have also fixed the problem...you can have
children again," he replied.
"What?" she exclaimed.
"Your so-called modern medicine is still so primitive. You are once
again fertile and you will be with child within the next few months,"
he continued.
"I'm not with anyone right now," she countered.
He smiled. "You will be...soon you will have a new lover and you will
become pregnant."
Alyssa had desperately wanted more children, but not at the cost of
turning one of them over to a demon... or whatever he was.
"Why?' she asked.
"I did not do this for you...its complicated...but I need to ensure the
next generation of my lovers," he remarked. "I have several other
families under contract, and I must make certain that I always have a
woman to serve me."
"It will be at least eighteen years until you will be back," she said.
Xavier shook his head. "Not necessarily. You say that you have a
son...the twin to your dead daughter?"
Alyssa nodded. "Yes...but he's a boy...the contract states you can have
my first daughter."
He smiled back. "That is true...but it's also a mere formality. Alyssa,
retrieve your son and bring him down here."
She opened her mouth to argue but nothing came out...she turned slowly
and walked up to Corey's room.
Chapter 2
Corey didn't know what was going on, just that his mother had woke him
up and told him to dress and come downstairs immediately.
For the past few days he noticed how nervous his mother was. He asked
if anything was wrong, but she refused to tell him.
Corey was five-ten and very muscular. He was a star wrestler for his
high school. He slipped on a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, a sweatshirt,
socks and a pair of running shoes.
He came down the stairs into the living room and saw his mother sitting
across from a stranger.
"Corey, this is Xavier," said Alyssa nervously.
Corey stood across from Xavier and shook hands.
"I am a very old friend of the family," said Xavier as he shook Corey's
hand.
Corey looked at his mother and noticed that she seemed upset. He
doubted that the stranger was a friend.
"Mom, what's wrong?" asked Corey.
"I'm sorry," replied Alyssa whose voice began to crack as if she was
about to cry.
Corey turned and looked at Xavier.
"What's going on here?" he demanded. "Are you hurting my mom?"
Xavier smiled back. "I'm here to collect a debt. Granted, it's not what
I expected, but I can make do."
"Mom, what's he talking about?" asked Corey.
She tried to reply, but couldn't as she burst into tears.
"Corey, in the year 1300 a direct descendant of yours, a young peasant
woman named Lorelei made a deal with me. She wanted eternal beauty so
she could attract a rich, powerful, and handsome husband. It would be
her path out of poverty. I granted her this wish. I also granted her
wish that her descendants would also be beautiful and marry well. In
exchange, I was given the right to take the first born daughter of the
first born daughter on the day of her eighteenth birthday. She would
then serve me for three years as my lover. Following her servitude she
would be returned to her family," explained Xavier.
Corey looked at Xavier and then his mother who nodded.
"1300?" asked Corey.
"April 6, 1300 if you wish to be precise," replied Xavier. "I believe
it was a little past 6:30 in the evening...local time of course."
Corel looked at his mother who was nodding.
"He's telling you the truth," said Alyssa as she wiped her eyes. "I
served him for three years...three long years."
"What do you mean served?" asked Corey.
"She was my lover," stated Xavier in a matter of the fact way.
"Your... lover?" he asked.
Alyssa nodded. "He's telling the truth."
Corey was shocked by his mother's confession. He then turned and looked
at Xavier.
"So what are you?" he demanded.
Xavier shrugged his shoulders. "My race is an ancient one...your kind
call us all sorts of names...devils...demons...monsters. However what's
important is that I am owed a payment...the firstborn daughter upon her
eighteenth birthday."
Corey glared back at him.
"We have nothing to pay you with...my sister is dead," replied Corey
bitterly.
"Yes, your mother explained that to me," replied Xavier. "But you are
eighteen today and I believe you were the firstborn."
"True...but I'm also a man," replied Corey.
A sly smile appeared on Xavier's face. "A formality...one that can be
easily rectified. As you may know all children start off as
female...it's just a matter of reversing the changes made by hormones
and time."
Xavier stood up in front of Corey and ran his eyes over the young man.
"Yes, you will do," said Xavier as he waved his right hand in front of
Corey's body.
Corey began to open his mouth but nothing came out. He tried to step
back but he found that he couldn't move his legs...it was as if they
were frozen in place.
"This will not hurt," said Xavier.
"Please no!" cried Alyssa.
Xavier waved his hand dismissively at her.
"I'm collecting what is legally mine," he stated.
Corey felt a tingling in his feet and he looked down. A soft red glow
surrounded his feet. Corey watched as his Nikes began to transform into
black open-toed high heels. He could see that his toenails were now
colored a bright red. His feet looked smaller...almost tiny.
The red glow began to slowly move up his legs and as it did the
transformation continued. His jeans changed into black silk stockings
and his muscular legs became thin, shapely and hairless.
The glow continued up his body and he watched as his hips expanded.
What was left of his jeans changed into a short black leather skirt.
The next sensation made him gasp as he felt his cock withdraw back into
his body.
He reached down and carefully lifted the skirt. He saw that he was now
wearing a thong. The thin material lay flat between his legs. He
reached down and pulled it back exposing his vagina.
"What the hell!" he exclaimed.
"Not bad...not bad at all," said Xavier.
The red glow continued to progress up his body, he watched helplessly
as his waist decreased in size. His clothes also changed and now he was
wearing a black silk top. When the glowing reached his chest, Corey
could only watch as his breasts grew out, pressing tightly against the
silk top. They were very large and even without a bra he could see that
he had cleavage.
When the glow reached his arms it split into three. Each of his arms
was soon surrounded by the red radiance. His arms were soon thin and
feminine in appearance. His hands also changed so they were petite. His
fingernails grew out and were now the same color as his toes.
The scarlet light moved up his neck and surrounded his head.
Corey felt his short brown hair grow out and soon his face was
surrounded by large soft curls. He knew his face was also changing...he
could feel it, but he was helpless to stop the transformation.
Then, in a flash, the light was gone.
Corey could now move. He walked over to the mirror by the front door.
He was surprised by how easy it was to walk in high heels. The movement
of his now feminized body felt different, yet strangely familiar.
He gasped as he saw his now female face in the mirror. He looked like a
younger version of his mother. He now had a very beautiful and feminine
face. His nose was petite; he had large luscious lips and high
cheekbones. His face was also perfectly made up so that he looked very
sexy and desirable.
His hair was now shoulder length. It was also a reddish brown in color.
Large curls flowed around his face.
Corey realized that his body oozed sexuality
"What did you do to me?" he exclaimed. He then froze as he realized
that he now had a very feminine seductive voice.
"Isn't it obvious?" I turned you into a woman...a very lovely woman,"
replied Xavier. "This way the contract can be honored."
Alyssa stared at her child with tear-filled eyes.
"I'm so...so sorry," she sobbed.
"Now, all we have to do is take care of one small thing," said Xavier.
"Corey isn't a very feminine name...especially for such a lovely flower
like you. No, you need a name as pretty as you are...I think Cassandra
is a fitting name for you my dear."
"Cassandra?" asked Corey.
"Close your eyes, my dear," ordered Xavier.
He tried to resist, but his eyelids suddenly felt so heavy. He had no
choice but to obey.
"Yes, Corey...you are now...and always have been Cassandra Strasburg.
You are eighteen and a very lovely girl...lovely but not as innocent as
she looks...oh you will always know what I have done to you...as will
your mother...but no one else will. Everyone else will only know you as
Cassandra. You have the memories of growing up as Cassandra....your
first doll....your first puppy love...your first period...your first
kiss...your first boyfriend...and your first lover. Now open your
eyes."
Cassandra did as she was told.
"Tell me your name," he ordered.
"I'm Cassandra Strasburg," she replied automatically.
"See how easy that was," he replied. "Are you a virgin, Cassandra?"
As she shook her head she felt her face get warm as she blushed. She
looked over at her mom who stared back in shocked silence.
"Who was it?" he asked. "It's okay to tell us."
"Mike Slaten," she replied as she named her best friend. The memories
of losing her virginity three months ago to Mike were clear in her
mind.
"And did you enjoy it?" he asked.
She wanted to curse him, but instead she just nodded.
"Really?" he asked.
"Yes, it was very good," she replied.
"So you enjoy sex with a man?" he asked.
"Yes," she replied.
To her surprise she felt herself becoming aroused, her nipples were
getting hard and she felt moist between her legs.
"Yes, I can see that you're telling the truth," stated Xavier with a
wink.
Cassandra blushed and crossed her arms to cover her now hard and erect
nipples.
"That was easy, wasn't it, Cassandra?" he asked.
She nodded.
"Now, Cassandra this is how this will work, you will come with me.
Don't worry, no one will know you're missing; it's all part of the
spell. You will serve my every desire," he stated. "I will treat you
very well...you will lack nothing...except freedom....which is very
overrated."
"Please don't do this...take me again," pleaded Alyssa.
"That's not part of the deal. Don't worry, she will enjoy it as much as
you did," he stated as he took Cassandra by the hand.
Cassandra first instinct was to pull away, but that feeling swiftly
passed. Part of her knew that she had no choice but to obey.
Alyssa got up from the couch and hugged Cassandra.
"I'm so sorry...I had no idea that this would happen to you," she
cried.
"It's okay Mom, I'll be fine...and I don't blame you," replied
Cassandra.
"It's time, Cassandra," said Xavier.
"I'll be back Mom...I'll be back some day," said Cassandra.
There was a flash and Xavier and Cassandra disappeared.
Chapter 3
Cassandra looked around at her new surroundings. It looked as if she
was in a medieval castle. The walls were solid stone and were covered
with colorful tapestries.
"This is my home," he stated. "And for the next three years it will be
your home. You are free to roam around."
"It's not what I expected," stated Cassandra.
"Let me guess, you were expecting something darker...like a
dungeon...lots of flames...the smell of sulfur?" asked Xavier with a
smile.
Cassandra looked over at him and immediately noticed he looked younger;
as if he was in his late twenties. She also noticed that he was still
handsome...and that she was attracted to him.
"Something like that," she replied as she looked around the room.
It was obviously the main room and was elegantly furnished. There was a
large fireplace which dominated the room. The walls were covered with
silk tapestries. The furniture was made of intricately carved wood and
leather. Beautiful woven rugs covered the stone floors.
She stepped out onto a balcony and looked out over the countryside.
They were very high up, and it looked like the castle was built
directly out of the rocks of the mountain.
The area around below the castle was heavily forested, although she
could see what appeared to be smoke coming from a settlement off in the
distance. A large strange looking creature flew by in the distance and
it took Cassandra a moment to realize that it was a dragon.
"Where are we?" she asked as she watched with wonder as the dragon flew
gracefully across the sky. "Obviously this isn't Earth."
"As I said, it's my home. But you are right, this isn't your world,
it's what your scientists would call a parallel world. Here, magical
beings like me rule. Oh, and don't worry about the dragons...they are
harmless...think of them as large birds."
Cassandra laughed. "Do they breathe fire?"
"Not exactly...they do have the ability to shoot out a strong
acid...but they only use that when attacked," he replied.
"Are there people here?" she asked as she pointed to the smoke in the
distance.
"People? Like you? No, not exactly. Humans didn't evolve the same way
as they did back on your world. They are far more primitive...very
warlike...brutish...barely above being animals. Oh, they have learned
to use some technologies...mainly for war. They are for all practical
purposes a different species. They would kill and eat you if they had a
chance. So if you are thinking of trying to escape, don't."
She noted the genuine disdain in his voice as she looked over the
balcony. She estimated it was over five hundred feet to the ground.
"I don't see any way out of here...unless there's a way on the other
side," she replied.
"There's no traditional entrance to my home...unless that being can fly
or has powers. It's much safer that way. The beings here may lack in
intellect, but they are deadly...they can even kill one like me if
there are enough of them. So do you agree not to try and escape?"
"I will obey...I will honor the contract," she replied.
"Really? No argument?" he asked with a grin.
"What's the point? You changed me into a woman...you brought me to a
different world...it seems pointless to resist. I need your help to
return to my old life so I will honor my three years with you."
Xavier smiled and softly placed his hand on her face.
"I am pleased to hear that," he replied. "I think you will enjoy your
time here. I took the liberty of making you more compatible when I
turned you into a woman."
Cassandra looked at him. "What do you mean by that?"
"This is not my real form. I will later show you what I really look
like. If I were to take you in that form...it would injure or kill you.
However, even in this form, I am...how do I say this...larger than a
normal human male."
Cassandra stared back and then it hit her what he meant.
"Oh," she replied as she blushed.
Xavier smiled back.
"With a normal human female I have had to be careful...but you will be
able to take me...without fear of injury. I suspect you will find it a
very enjoyable experience," he replied. "I don't want a slave."
"May I see what you really look like?" she asked.
He smiled softly at her. "Are you sure you want to see me?"
"I might as well...I will be here for three years," she replied.
"Very well," he replied.
Xavier stepped back and closed his eyes. He mumbled something that
sounded somewhat Slavic.
Cassandra watched as he transformed and she gasped.
Xavier in his true form was eight-foot tall, muscular, bright red
skinned creature. He had large horns on his head and piercing dark
black eyes. A long tail appeared behind him.
Cassandra saw that he had hooves instead of feet and sharp claws on his
fingers.
She also noticed that he had a very large penis...it was huge!
"This is my true form," he replied in a deep booming voice. "What do
you think?"
"You look like the devil," she remarked carefully and then she gasped.
"I'm sorry...that wasn't nice."
He smiled, showing off fangs and let out a hearty laugh.
"So I have been told by other humans...including your mother," he
replied. "Obviously one of my kind was the inspiration for your 'devil'
or your demons. However, I am not a creature of evil. My race has its
morality and our rules. We don't set rules for humans. We use our
powers to make deals. We always keep our end of the bargain and we
expect others to do the same."
"But why should we be held to a bargain we never made?" she asked.
He ran his hand in front of his body and transformed himself back into
his human form. He was now dressed as a medieval nobleman.
"Your ancestor made the deal...I explained the consequences to her, but
she didn't care," he replied. "She said that it would be worth it to
ensure that her lineage would always be taken care of."
"But it's been over 700 years," said Cassandra. "I mean, I can
understand that sort of thinking in the Dark Ages, but it doesn't fly
in the modern era."
"I'm just following the contract," he replied as he took her by the
hand. "Come, we will eat and then go to bed."
Chapter 4
To Cassandra's surprise the food was excellent. She was curious about
the fact that she didn't see any staff and she asked him about that.
"That's because there isn't any," he replied. "I produce everything I
need through my powers."
She nodded as she ate some sort of roasted bird. It was too big to be a
chicken even though it tasted like it. She didn't ask him what it was
as she had had enough surprises so far.
"May I ask you why you use humans for sexual pleasure...couldn't you
just change one of the beings here?" she asked.
"Physically that's possible...not mentally...they are too primitive,"
he replied. "It would be like having sex with an animal."
"Then why not your own kind?" she asked.
"Females of my kind are few...and most are spoken for," he replied as
he drank some wine.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"Believe it or not I am still considered young for my kind. Oh, I would
take a mate if I could, but there're just aren't many females," he
replied. "I must wait my time."
"Why is that?" she asked.
"Many females were killed centuries ago...our kind doesn't reproduce
quickly and when we mate we, do it for life. I suppose its nature's way
of balancing power in the worlds," he said offhandedly. "I mean if we
were as numerous you humans there would be chaos."
She nodded as she ate a piece of bread. It was very good...as was all
the food.
"So you have never had sex with one of your own kind?" she asked.
He nodded. "When we have sex it is a joining...a lifelong mating...so
the answer is no, I have never been with my own kind as you put it.
That is why some of us seek out humans...to go centuries without sex
would drive anyone mad."
"I suppose you're right," she replied. "I have one more question."
"Ask away my dear," he replied.
"Is part of my transformation mental? I mean, I'm even noticing how
easily I'm adapting to this," she remarked. "I know that soon you will
take me to bed...and yes I'm not freaking out over that."
"You are very observant. It's not part of your transformation...but
when human females are brought into this world...they accept their
fate...and react accordingly," he replied.
"Even my mom?" asked Cassandra.
He nodded. "Yes, she was very accepting."
Cassandra shook her head in disbelief.
"No offense, but I always have thought of my Mom as being a bit of a
prude," she said.
"Prude? That's not the word I would use to describe her," he replied
with a laugh. "Should I give you an example?"
Cassandra put her hands up. "Please no...I'll take your word."
He smiled. "Very well my lady...so shall I take you to our bedroom?"
Cassandra nodded.
He stood up and extended his hand.
She took it and stood up. He slipped her hand onto his arm and escorted
her to the bedroom.
Chapter 5
To her total surprise, Cassandra found that she thoroughly loved having
sex with Xavier. She never could have imagined that sexual pleasure
could be so incredible...her whole body was alive with joy.
When she had first seen Xavier naked she felt fear and
trepidation...not just because she was about to have sex with a man,
but because of the size of his manhood. Even in his human form, his
cock was much larger than she had ever seen. When hard it was almost
fourteen inches, yet she had easily taken it in her body without any
discomfort. She wondered how difficult that must have been for her
mother and for all other female ancestors.
Even though she was new as a woman, she could tell that Xavier was a
master when it came to making love. He truly seemed interested in that
Cassandra enjoyed the experience. They reached orgasm together each
time they had sex.
She was even more shocked by how much she enjoyed oral. Yes his cock
filled her mouth and pushed deep down her throat, but it was a very
pleasurable experience. She even enjoyed the taste of his seed and she
found that she was soon craving it.
Cassandra drifted off into a totally restful sleep after over a half
dozen orgasms.
When she awoke the next morning, Xavier showed her the bathing
facilities. In addition to the toilet, there was a very large built in
tub.
"Wow, I was expecting something more...ancient," she remarked as she
watched the tub fill with hot steamy water."This is very nice."
"It's one of your world's great pleasures...the bath...especially with
a Jacuzzi. The large size is obvious, it must accommodate me in my true
form," he stated. "However, this morning it is all yours. Take your
time and I will show you your wardrobe when you are done."
Cassandra nodded. She had to admit that for a creature that had
transformed and abducted her, Xavier was very caring. She just hoped
that he wasn't hiding something from her.
Chapter 6
Cassandra was dressed in what looked like a medieval gown. It was a
lovely emerald green and it actually seemed to shrink to fit her
exactly, which showed off her shapely figure. On her feet she put on
high heeled leather boots.
She quickly discovered that she knew how to style her hair and to do
her makeup. It was as if she had been doing it her whole life.
"That's a lovely color for you Cassandra," stated Xavier as they ate
breakfast.
"Thank you," she replied. She was actually pleased that he had
complimented her.
"Are the clothes acceptable? I can arrange for you to have more modern
things," he stated.
"No, these are fine. As this is only my second day as a woman I have
nothing to compare it too...it also seems more fitting considering that
I'm in a castle," she replied as she placed some fruit on her plate.
"Remarkable," he replied.
"What do you mean?" she asked as she ate what looked like a grape.
Thankfully it also tasted like one too.
"You are so accepting of what has happened to you. I knew that you
wouldn't be able to resist me...but the fact that you are truly happy
is amazing," he explained. "I may have to look into transformed females
more in the future."
"So, I'm your first?" she asked as she ate something that looked like a
plum, but tasted more like an orange. Still it was very good.
He nodded.
"I have never had the need to use the transformation spell," he
confessed. "Your family circumstances forced me to use it."
"So when I'm sent back, can you change me back?'
"If you wish," he replied. "However, it may be very difficult for you
to readjust to being male again...I mean you will have a lot of sex as
a woman...it may be difficult to give that up...you definitely seemed
to have enjoyed yourself last night."
Cassandra blushed.
"And if I do change, does that end the bargain?" she asked as she tried
to change the topic.
He shook his head.
"But there will be no more women in my lineage," she said.
"I took care of your mother's injuries," he replied. "She will have
more children...more daughters. The contract stated that it must be
honored until the end of time, it is the way of the world."
"I see...and if I stay female will I be considered the first daughter?"
she asked.
"That is correct," he replied as he drank a dark hot liquid that
smelled something like coffee.
"So my future sisters will be free of serving you?' she asked.
He nodded.
"But that will mean your first daughter will eventually serve me," he
stated.
"Why must it go on?" she asked.
"That is complicated...as with any male I need sexual pleasure...the
contracts are a way of providing partners...I don't force myself on
anyone," he stated.
"I suppose you could see it that way...but I didn't make the
contract...and I didn't ask to be transformed," she said.
"No, your ancestor sealed your fate," he countered. "She's the one who
added the clause that passed the contract down to future generations.
And each generation has honored the contract...as will you."
She nodded. "It must be tough to keep such a secret all those years...I
mean, all those generations knowing that their daughter will have the
same fate...just because of one stupid egotistical woman."
He shrugged. "Try not to focus on the past...it's not worth the
effort."
She picked out another piece of fruit that looked like a red apricot
and took a bite. It tasted like a pear.
"And you've done this to other families?" she asked.
"Yes, that's correct, but never at the same time," he replied.
"Well, that's good to know...I mean it might get complicated with two
women sharing you," she replied as she took a sip of her tea.
He stopped eating and stared at her for a moment before breaking out in
a hearty laugh.
"For a moment I thought you were serious! Sarcasm is one human trait
that I still have difficulty with."
"What about your people?" she asked.
"We don't come in contact with each other much any more. Oh, we get
along, but it's just that we decided it would be safer that way," he
explained. "When we do get together it's usually over something
serious."
"Like what?" she asked.
"War," he replied. "Every so often we must 'thin the herd down' with
the humanoids here or they will get out of hand."
"I don't think I want to know what that entails," she remarked.
"We hoped that they would evolve...and become something less
violent...less animalistic...but they seem stuck in their path."
"What about using your powers?" she asked.
He shook his head. "For some reason our powers are limited against
them. Oh, we can change them physically, but not mentally. Some of my
kind feels we should wipe them out so that they never pose a risk to us
again. However that is not possible...they have a purpose."
"What do you mean again?" she asked.
"I have told you too much," he said.
"Tell me about it, please," she asked.
He smiled back. "Not today. We have time; let me show you around your
home."
Chapter 7
The castle's walls formed a secure perimeter for the living quarters.
Additionally in the main courtyard there was a huge garden considering
of flowers, shrubbery, and trees of various species. Birds filled the
air and built their nests in the trees. Additionally there was a large
pond that had fish that looked something like koi.
"This is so beautiful and peaceful," said Cassandra.
He nodded. "I know...it was where I was raised...and one day I will
raise my family here."
She couldn't help but notice that he had a very gentle side.
"Come, let me show you the rest," he stated as he took her by the hand.
Cassandra noticed that there was a wall that appeared to have been
modified. She could just make out what looked like a curved entrance
way.
When she asked him about it he nodded.
"Very observant my dear. Yes, that was once the main entrance to the
castle. It was filled in years ago following an attack. It was when I
was very young."
"So they attacked the castle?" she asked.
He nodded. "Yes that is correct. There were many of them, but my family
defeated them...at great cost. Two of my brothers died."
"I'm sorry," she replied.
He nodded. "Thank you. The Skraelings haven't attacked since, but
eventually they will when there are enough of them, it's in their very
being."
"Skraelings?"
"Yes that's what we call them," he replied.
"That's the name the Norse on my world called the people they came in
contact with when they came to North America."
"Very good...one of our people was living with the Norse and passed the
name onto them. But those native people in your land were nothing like
the creatures here," he replied.
"What do they call themselves?"
"I have no idea. I doubt they have a language. Oh, they communicate
through growls and other noises much like wolves communicate, but it's
far from a language."
"They must have some redeeming values," she said.
"Only one that I can think of... but for the most part they are just a
plague on this land. They don't build or create, they are hunter-
gathers, they don't farm, and they eat much of their food raw,
including their meat even though they can make fire. Their colonies are
mainly holes in the ground, which they abandon when they move onto new
hunting grounds. Their weapons are very crude, although some of them
have found and use weapons from other extinct civilizations," he
replied. "They conquer when they have sufficient numbers."
"But they do have some human traits, right?"
"Only that they too evolved from an apelike creature, but the one they
came from was a carnivore. They move around on two legs but that's as
close to you as they are," he replied. "When you see one you will
realize that they are not like you...and never will be. Now, let me
show you the library."
"But you mentioned that they have a purpose," she said as he took her
by the hand.
He nodded. "I will tell you about that another day."
Chapter 8
To Cassandra's amazement and joy the castle had a well stocked library.
"Do you like?" he asked hopefully.
"This is wonderful," she stated as she looked at the shelves filled
with books.
"I'm pleased you think so. I'm very happy with my collection," he
replied. "So you love reading?"
"Yes I do. Are all these from my world?" she asked as she looked at
what looked like an original volume of Shakespeare.
"No, some were written by my people," he stated as he reached for a
large leather-bound book. "This one was written by an uncle."
He set the book down and Cassandra opened it up. The parchment inside
was covered with an elegant written language that looked like a cross
between Latin and Norse runes.
"What is this book about?" she asked as she tried to decipher the
writing.
"The history of my people," he replied. "If you'd like I can teach you
to read this."
Cassandra nodded. "I would like that."
He then reached for another volume. He opened the book to a page
showing a fierce looking hairy creature. The creature had a mouth of
large fangs. It was also carrying a crude looking club. It looked like
it had stepped out of a nightmare.
"Is that a Skraeling," she asked.
He nodded.
"Don't be fooled by its primitive appearance. They are very swift,
strong, and very hard to kill. Even in my natural form they are a
formidable foe. One- on- one they are not a problem...but they rarely
do that as they usually fight in packs."
Cassandra just stared at the image in silence.
"How close do they come to this castle?" she asked after a long
silence.
"Occasionally they pass by as they hunt. They won't attack unless they
are provoked or have huge numbers. They become very bold when they grow
to large packs. I will call you should they come close so you can see
that I am telling the truth."
"Aren't you afraid that they might try and sneak in?"
"I have a protection spell cast around the castle, it serves to warn me
if they try to enter. I can either scare off or fight off small groups.
If they were to attack in large numbers I would take you back to your
world and wait them out. They will only attack if they need food and
once they cleaned out the castle they would leave. Once I have a family
then it will be different and we'd stay and fight."
"That's good to know," she replied. "But why don't use your powers to
fight them?"
"They don't work that way...my powers have limitations," he explained.
"I don't have attack powers...for fighting I must rely on my body and
my mind. Our teleportation skills are very useful in battle."
"What about weapons? I mean, I haven't seen any weapons around the
castle," she said. "I would think that swords or other bladed weapons
would be very effective against them."
"We outlawed those eons ago," he replied. "Not out of any sense of
higher morality, but we found that while the Skraeling cannot
create...they can learn to use weapons. We decided that we could face
them hand-to-hand and not risk giving them an advantage."
Chapter 9
Much to her amazement, Cassandra found that she was soon craving sexual
contact with Xavier. The orgasms she got from making love with him were
incredible. She began to wonder if she could ever adjust to a normal
human mate.
With each passing day she found that she was falling in love with him.
At first she thought it was just because he was the only other person
in the castle, but she soon realized that it was love. The question was
how to tell him. Would he laugh at her? Or was it all part of her
transformation.
In addition to having sex every evening, they also made love in the
morning. It was a very lovely way to wake up she decided.
One month into her new life she saw her first Skraelings. It was a
small hunting party that was passing by the base of the mountain and
through the woods to an open field several miles away. Through a
powerful telescope she watched as they hunted. They were organized, but
she wasn't sure of it was due to intelligence or instinct. Much like a
pack of wolves, they ran their prey down working as a team. She
noticed that several of the Skraelings would race ahead from the pack
to tire the prey. When they tired, others would take their place.
She watched as they eventually ran down a deer-like animal, kill it
with their bare hands, and then immediately began to eat it. When they
started to eat the deer she had to turn away. It was like watching two
legged hyenas or wolves.
"I'm sorry that I doubted you...they are... horrible creatures," she
stated.
Xavier nodded. "I know. They are a plague on the land. No creature is
safe from them. It is why we live in castles."
"I need something to take my mind off them," she said.
"What do you wish to do?" he asked.
"Take me into the gardens... and make love to me," she said with a
smile.
"I would love to do that my dear," he replied as he slipped his
muscular arms around her.
Chapter 10
Two months into her servitude Cassandra had settled into her new life.
Weather permitting she spent many hours in the garden. She also spent a
lot of time in the library. Xavier was teaching her his people's
language. The good thing was that he was very patient with her as she
struggled to learn to read.
She was now having sex with him several times a day. She never could
have imagined that sex could feel so good. She also realized that she
could never return to life as a male.
As she cuddled next to him in their bed following making love, she
looked up into his eyes.
"I have decided that I want to stay as a woman," she admitted to him.
"I can't imagine life any other way."
He smiled back at her. "I'm very pleased to hear that."
He leaned down and kissed her.
"I have something else I need to tell you," she said.
"Go ahead...you may always speak freely with me my dear," he replied.
"Xavier, have any of my...my family ever said that they loved you?" she
asked.
"You mean in passion or for real?" he asked.
"For real," she replied.
He shook his head. "No never...not even in jest."
"Then I am the first...I love you," she replied as she looked up into
his eyes. "I love you with all my heart Xavier. I wish that I could
stay here with you forever."
She almost expected to hear his laugh but instead he reached down and
touched her face.
"You mean that?"
"Yes...the feelings are so strong...I really truly love you," she
replied.
"That means a lot to me...you are special to me too," he replied. "I
wish there was a way we could stay together."
"So do I," she replied. "So, do you love me?"
He kissed her.
"Yes, I love you Cassandra."
"Then make love to me again, please."
He smiled at her. "As you wish my lady."
Chapter 11
Cassandra woke up feeling very refreshed. It had been a wonderful night
of lovemaking with Xavier.
As she sat up in bed she noticed that Xavier was sitting next to her.
He had a curious look on his face.
"Good morning my dear," he said. "How do you feel?"
"Fine," she replied. "Why?"
"Look at your body," he said.
Cassandra looked down and gasped. She jumped out of bed and looked at
herself in the mirror.
"Is this real?" she asked.
He just nodded.
Cassandra ran her hands over her body, which was now colored dark red.
"What happened?" she asked.
"I don't know. I will have to contact a member of my family," he
stated. "If it makes you feel any better, I think you look quite
lovely."
Cassandra just stared at her reflection. Her hair had also changed. It
was now a dark red...almost maroon in color. She also noticed that her
fingernails were now black and also longer.
"I think this might be just the start," she said as she held out her
hands.
He nodded.
"How do you feel?" he asked.
"Never better," she replied.
"After we eat I will pay a visit to my mother...unless you don't want
to be left alone," he said.
Cassandra smiled as she could sense that he truly cared about her.
"I will be fine...just don't be gone too long," she said.
Chapter 12
Cassandra paged through some of Xavier's books and looked to see if she
could find anything related to her newest change.
She was wearing a black gown that flowed over her red colored body.
As she looked through the books, she found that her comprehension of
Xavier's language was improved. Deep down she suspected what was
happening to her...but she couldn't bring herself to admit it.
After a few hours of research she walked up to the dining room and ate
some fruit. She wondered when Xavier would be back...and if he would be
alone. Part of her wanted to meet some of his family.
After eating she returned to their bedroom and she decided to take a
nap.
When she awoke several hours later she discovered that her body had
changed further.
She stood naked in front of the mirror and studied the changes.
Surprisingly she wasn't upset or even frightened; rather she was
thrilled as part of her wondered if this meant she could be his mate.
She was the same size as she was before the changes started and she
suspected that the females of the species were smaller than the males.
Looking down she saw that her feet had morphed into three toed claw-
like feet. On each toe was a large black talon. She wondered why her
feet were different than Xavier.
Her nails on her fingers were also black and now several inches long
and were strong and sharp.
Her tail hung down between her legs. It was several feet long and
pointed at the end. As with the rest of her body, it was bright red in
color. It also seemed to have a mind of its own. She tried to get it
to move but was unsuccessful. As she walked she found that it flicked
back and forth. She also noticed that it seemed to add to her sensory
awareness.
Looking back in the mirror, she reached up and pulled her hair back
from her ears. They were now larger and pointed at the ends. She also
had two small horns growing out of the top of her head. Her horns were
a swirl of black and red.
Her eyes were now larger and almond shaped. Additionally they were
totally black in color.
The last changes were in her mouth. Her tongue was much longer and she
had large fangs in her mouth. She ran her tongue over them.
"Oh my," she exclaimed. She also immediately noticed how her voice had
also changed. It was still feminine, but it was a bit deeper and more
seductive.
Cassandra remembered how Xavier looked when he had shown her his true
form and she realized that she was now a female of his race.
She was pleased that she was still quite attractive. Her breasts were
larger as were the other curves of her body. She ran her hand down
across her slit and wondered if she could now take Xavier in his true
form. The thought of Xavier making love to her made her smile...it also
aroused her. She slipped one of her clawed fingers into her vagina and
began to pleasure herself. She then realized that sex would be even
better now that she was of Xavier's race.
The sound of Xavier's voice calling for her caught her attention.
As she turned to walk away from the mirror she turned to look at her
tail. She then noticed two small growths on her back. They were located
in right by her shoulder blades and she wondered what they were.
She debated getting dressed, but decided it would be best if he saw her
in the buff.
"I'm coming," she replied as she walked into the main room.
Xavier stared at her as she walked into the main room.
"Welcome home my love," she greeted as she sauntered into the room.
"Cassandra? Is that really you?" he asked.
"Yes my love," she replied.
"When did this happen?" he asked as he embraced her.
She told him as they hugged.
"You are beautiful, Cassandra," he stated.
"Thank you," she replied. "Do you like?"
He transformed into his true form.
"Like...no, I love it. Does this make you feel more at ease?" he asked.
"Yes my love," she replied. "So how did this happen?"
"My mother is investigating," he replied. "She will be here tomorrow."
They sat down together on a large couch.
"So is this my permanent form?" she asked.
"I don't know," he stated.
He reached up and touched her horns.
"Judging by their size you are entering breeding age," he said.
"Oh...wow," she replied excitedly.
"Does that bother you?"
She shook her head. "No, just the opposite...this all feels very
right."
"I'm pleased that you are not in pain," he said.
She then turned around. "What are these on my back?"
"They are your wings," he replied. "The females of our species have
wings. It's also why your feet are different. It allows you to perch."
"Actual wings...as in I will be able to fly?" she asked.
"That's correct," he replied as he reached over to run his hand gently
down her face.
"Do you find me attractive?" she asked.
"Cassandra... you are dazzling," he replied. "I have dreamed of a mate
that looked as lovely as you."
"So, does that mean that you want me?" she asked.
"Yes my dear, I want you...but we must wait," he said.
"Why?" she asked making no attempt to hide her disappointment.
"I told you that our kind, mate for life," he said.
"So if we have sex...we will be a couple...for life?" she asked.
He nodded.
"I would love that," she replied.
"As would I...but you need to be examined first...first to see if this
is permanent...second to see if you are fertile," he explained.
Cassandra listened to his words.
"If it is possible...I want to have your children," she stated.
He nodded. "I know that my dear. My mother will be here tomorrow with
some other women from our clan. They will examine you and if they allow
it I will make you my mate."
"What if they say no?" asked Cassandra. "What will happen to me then?"
"That will be up to them. I suspect that returning to your world will
change you back to being a human female."
"I don't want that...I love what I am...and I love you," she replied.
"We will have to abide by their decision," he said.
Cassandra's disappointment showed on her face.
"Trust me my dear, this will hard for me too," he stated. "Now, let's
have dinner."
Chapter 13
Xavier's mother and two other females arrived right after breakfast.
They flew into the courtyard and were immediately greeted by Xavier.
He was dressed in what looked like a leather tunic.
Cassandra was surprised how youthful they all looked. All three were
dressed in black leather outfits which covered their breasts and
vaginas. She could see that the three were related.
Xavier told her that the three were sisters.
Cassandra was wearing one of her gowns, although she no longer had need
for shoes.
Xavier introduced the three to Cassandra.
"This is my mother Zoe," he stated. "And these are my aunts, Itzel and
Sonja."
"Remarkable," stated Zoe as she walked slowly around Cassandra.
"And this all happened in the past two days?" asked Sonja.
"That's correct," said Cassandra.
She then told them what had happened the previous day.
"We will have to examine you my dear," said Zoe. "Let's go to your
bedroom."
Zoe took Cassandra by the hand and began to lead her away. Xavier began
to follow.
"Xavier, please stay out here...this is women's business," said Itzel.
"We need to examine her alone."
He nodded. "I will be out here waiting for you, Cassandra."
Cassandra followed the three women towards the bedroom.
Chapter 14
"Please disrobe my dear," ordered Zoe.
Cassandra nodded and then undressed.
The three women walked slowly around and examined Cassandra.
"You appear to be very healthy," noted Zoe.
"That's a relief," replied Cassandra.
"Have you tried your wings?" asked Sonja.
"I...I don't know how," admitted Cassandra sheepishly.
Sonja smiled softly. "Of course...I'm sorry. Concentrate on your back.
They should come right out."
Cassandra did as she was told.
"It itches a little," she admitted.
The three women smiled knowingly.
Cassandra gasped as she felt her wings expand out of her back.
They looked like the wings of a bat and extended well beyond her back.
Like the rest of her body they were bright red.
"Wow," she exclaimed as she looked over her shoulder. "They're huge."
"Try moving them," said Zoe. "Just concentrate on them."
Cassandra's wings were soon flapping. She lifted slightly off the floor
and then back down.
"Very good," said Sonja. "Later we'll take you out for your first
flying lesson."
"Now think of them back in your body," said Zoe.
Cassandra did as she was told and her wings withdrew into her body.
"That was cool," she remarked.
The three women then continued with Cassandra's examination.
An hour later they agreed that Cassandra was a female of their species.
"The question remains, how did this happen?" asked Itzel. "It's obvious
that you have transformed into one of us, but how?"
"I think I might know," said Sonja. "Xavier said that when he
transformed you into a woman he made modifications so that you
could...please him sexually. I suspect that where this started."
Zoe nodded her head in agreement. "That might have started it, but
there has to be more."
"Cassandra, tell us exactly what happened the night before you
changed," ordered Sonja.
Cassandra told them about the conversation she had had with Xavier.
"Of course, that's it," said Zoe.
"What?" asked Cassandra.
"When you and my son expressed your true love for each other it had to
have sparked your transformation. Xavier couldn't take a human as a
mate...so you were changed so he could," she explained.
"Changed by who?" asked Cassandra.
"There's a greater power here...sometimes wishes are granted," said
Zoe.
Cassandra nodded.
"Gods or goddesses?" asked Cassandra.
"Who knows," said Zoe.
"So can I be his mate?" Cassandra asked hopefully.
"We need to discuss that with you...you'll need to know what you're
entering," said Sonja.
"Like what?' asked Cassandra.
"He has told you that our kind mate for life, correct?" asked Itzel.
Cassandra nodded.
"It is a bond...not just a vow, you will be tied to him for your life,"
said Sonja.
"That's fine with me," replied Cassandra. "I love him."
"Now, do you know how we have children?" asked Zoe.
Cassandra shook her head.
"We lay eggs," she replied.
"Eggs?" asked Cassandra.
"Yes, usually two at a time," said Sonja.
"Um, how big are the eggs?" asked Cassandra.
Sonja held out her hands to show the size. It appeared to be the size
of a medium sized water melon.
"Really?" asked Cassandra. "Um ...how is that possible?"
"Don't worry, your body will accommodate it," said Zoe with a smile.
"You only have them in your body for half the time."
"So I will lay them...is that the right term?" asked Cassandra.
Zoe nodded.
"What happens after I lay the eggs?" asked Cassandra. "I mean do I sit
on them?"
"You will lay them in a nest of heated sand. The eggs must be kept safe
and monitored for thirty days," said Sonja. "They cannot be moved
during incubation. You will have a safe room here in the castle...and
Xavier will protect you."
"This is when we are most vulnerable. In the past we would have our
nests on the beach by the southern sea...but that was before the
Skraelings became bold," said Itzel.
"Xavier told me something happened, but he didn't give me any details,"
said Cassandra.
Zoe nodded.
"The Skraelings attacked our sacred nesting site and killed off an
entire generation of our people... we are still trying to recover,"
said Sonja sadly.
"The Skraelings seem to know when we have pre-borns and they will
sometimes attack," added Zoe.
"We now gather to protect our young...should you and Xavier mate we
will protect you too," said Itzel.
"I wish we could wipe them off the planet," said Sonja angrily. "They
are horrible disgusting creatures."
"Why don't we?" asked Cassandra.
Sonja looked at Zoe who nodded.
"Unfortunately we need the Skraelings," said Sonja.
"For what?" asked Cassandra.
Zoe looked at the others. "Not all births are successful. The eggs are
carried for a month prior to being laid. The body sometimes rejects
them."
"Okay, so what does that have to do with the Skraelings?" asked
Cassandra.
"When you are carrying eggs you will get a very strong urge...and you
will seek out a Skraeling, kill it... and then eat it," said Itzel.
"I'm sorry, but there's no reason to sugarcoat this."
"Eat one of them?" asked a horrified Cassandra.
The three women nodded.
"There's something in their body that eases the pregnancy. We've tried
to analyze it, and reproduce it, but so far we've been unsuccessful.
When the urge hits you there's nothing you can do...it's a very
powerful sensation," said Zoe. "When it comes on, Xavier will be with
you and will protect you."
"Is this why the Skraelings hate us?" asked Cassandra.
"Who knows...we've been enemies since the dawn of time," said Itzel.
"Trust me, Cassandra, when the sensation comes on, you will do what is
necessary."
"It's a lot to think about," said Cassandra.
"I know dear," said Zoe. "But we will be there for you."
Cassandra realized what Zoe had said.
"So, does this mean that I can be Xavier's mate?" she asked.
"That is correct, welcome to the clan," said Zoe.
The three women then hugged Cassandra.
Chapter 15
The three women joined Cassandra and Xavier for dinner.
"Before you bond there is much we still need to teach you," said Zoe.
"Like how to fly," said Sonja.
"I'm looking forward to that," said Cassandra. "Why can't males fly?"
"We could at one time, but we discovered the power of teleportation,"
he replied. "Only males can pass into your world...I guess it's a good
trade off."
"I have much to learn," said Cassandra.
"Well, you will have plenty of time to do it. Now that you are one of
us your lifespan has increased well beyond what you would experience as
a human," said Zoe.
Cassandra nodded. "I see. Um, is it possible to let my mom know what
has happened?"
"Of course, I can tell her," said Xavier. "Or of you wish I can bring
her here."
Cassandra's jaw dropped. "Really? I mean I don't know how she'll react
when she sees me."
"Does she love you?" asked Zoe.
"Yes," replied Cassandra.
"Then what does it matter what form you are in?" she asked.
"I met your mother, she's a remarkable woman...I think she'll
understand," said Sonja.
"And she saw you as you are now?" Cassandra asked Xavier.
"That is correct," he replied. "She was shocked, but she accepted me
for who I am."
Cassandra thought about it for a moment.
"Okay, let's give it a shot," she said.
Chapter 16
Xavier decided to wait a few days before seeing Alyssa. He was content
to watch Sonja teach Cassandra how to fly.
She was now wearing what looked like a leather bikini. It made flying
easier than trying to do it in a dress. It also had a hole in the back
for the tail.
Her initial flights were inside the courtyard of the castle. She found
that it got easier when she didn't try and think about what she was
doing. It worked best when she just focused on where she was going and
not on the actual mechanics of flying.
Soon she was easily flying up to the top towers of the castle. Sonja
and Itzel flew close behind.
Cassandra perched on the roof of the tower and looked out over the
forest.
"Where do you two live?" she asked.
Sonja was hovering next to the tower and pointed to the west.
"My home and family is a three hour flight that way. I hope you come to
visit. I would love my mate and children to meet you."
"I'd like that," replied Cassandra. "And you Itzel?"
"My home is on a small island off the coast of the Southern Sea. "It is
where we harvest the sand for our nests. It's safer than dealing with
the beaches on the mainland. I would also like to extend an
invitation."
"Thank you," said Cassandra. "Well, I better head back down, Xavier
looks worried."
"Yes he does look distressed. I am pleased that he found such a good
mate like you Cassandra," said Sonja.
Cassandra smiled back.
"Thank you," she replied.
She then spread her wings and started to fly down to the courtyard.
However a sudden updraft caught her and sent her out over the main
wall. She tried to recover, but she quickly began to lose altitude.
Before Sonja and Itzel could do anything Cassandra glided down to the
forest floor. She narrowly missed hitting several large branches on her
way down.
Cassandra landed on her claws and while shaken, wasn't hurt.
She looked up at the mountain and the steep walls of the castle.
"You okay?" asked Sonja who was hovering twenty feet above her.
"Yes, thanks. But I'm not sure how to get back up," she replied. "There
are too many branches for me to miss if I tried to fly. Maybe I can
climb up to the top of one of the trees."
"No wait there Cassandra," ordered Sonja. "Itzel, go get Xavier, he may
have to teleport her out of here. I don't see any place for me to
land."
Itzel nodded and started to fly back up when she halted.
"Sonja, there's a pack of Skraelings heading your way," she cried out.
"They must have seen her come down."
"How many?" asked Sonja.
"Three...no make that ten...looks like a hunting party," said Itzel.
"I'll get Xavier."
Cassandra heard the conversation and looked around for the Skraelings.
She heard them as they rushed towards her and she knew escape was
impossible.
Sonja hovered above her, unable to land or to assist.
"Cassandra, Xavier will be here soon," she said.
"Will he get here in time?"
Sonja shook her head.
"There's no place for me to land safely...I can try and slip through
where you landed."
"Please don't...I was lucky not to be hurt," replied Cassandra.
"They're getting closer," said Sonja. "Can you hear them?"
"Yes...I can smell them too," she growled. "Fuck it! I'm not going down
without a fight."
Cassandra backed up against the side of the mountain and prepared to
defend herself. She looked down at her claws and wondered how
formidable they would be in a fight.
She didn't have long to wait as the first one burst through the brush
by itself. The Skraeling must have sprinted ahead from the rest of the
pack. It was a muscular apelike creature with filthy matted fur, not
much taller than she was. As it opened its mouth to growl, it showed
off its huge teeth. The only good thing was that it didn't have a
weapon.
The Skraeling growled again and without waiting for the rest of the
pack, it flung itself at Cassandra as if it expected an easy kill.
She was ready and let out a cry of rage as she slashed at the Skraeling
repeatedly with her claws. The creature let out a squeal of pain and
dropped to the ground.
It took Cassandra a moment to realize that she had slit its throat and
that it was dead.
But there was no time to celebrate as two more came out of the trees.
The sight of one of their kind dead made them stop in their tracks.
They stopped and sniffed the air to confirm that it was dead. This was
the opening that Cassandra needed. She launched herself at the closest
Skraeling and began to slash at it with her claws. The creature was
mortally wounded and fell to the ground. The other Skraeling let out a
roar and charged Cassandra and knocked her to the ground. When it came
at her a second time she slashed at it with her talons. She struck it
several times in the face and chest. It collapsed and died next to the
others.
As she stood back up she could hear the others rushing towards her and
she doubted that her luck would hold. Still she steadied her self and
prepared to fight for her life. As the rest burst out of the woods
there was a flash of light in front of her and Xavier appeared.
He let out an enraged roar and immediately attacked the remaining mob
of Skraelings. He grabbed the closest one and crushed its throat.
Cassandra knew she had better hold back, but he was her future mate and
he was fighting for his and her life...so she flung herself into the
fight.
She knew this was a fight to the death and she held nothing back. As
she attacked she let out a cry of rage. Her bloodlust was ignited as

to come on again.
He pulled her close and they were immediately transported back to the
safety of the castle.

"It's okay," said Cassandra as she was handed a goblet of wine.
"I will have to clear the trees back so that doesn't happen again,"
said Xavier.
"You also need to dispose of the bodies," said Zoe. "If others discover

"They've already been removed," he replied. "We don't need more of

"What did you do with them?" asked Itzel.

"I guess so, it's a bit of a blur," replied Cassandra.
"I
