The doctor scanned around on Sarah's belly a bit and found a face. "There it is - your little baby - oh...wait a minute here." Doctor Jacobs swung the monitor back and fiddled with the controls. He swung the monitor back to face them, clearly showing 2 outlines where Alex had one. Sarah gulped and looked wide eyed at her bump. "Twins??" Sarah gulped. "Yep...it looks like it," Doctor Jacobs said. "More common than you'd think really. Looks like you're only about 4 or 5 weeks along." Sarah's gaze shifted from imagining her stomach growing huge over the next few months to Alex who was also in shock and staring off into the distance. Doctor Jacob laughed. "Yep...this is pretty much everyones reaction. But listen, you look healthy, babies look healthy - I'll have the nurse prepare some information for you for home care, but just try to take it easy and everything will be fine.
